Jennifer Aniston Does ‘Dirt’
Jennifer Aniston didn’t seem to have let her break-up with Vince Vaughn affect her any at the premiere screening of her BFF Courtney Cox’s new show Dirt at the Paramount Theater last night in L.A. Jen, 37, was all smiles in a ruffled wrap dress, leggings, and pumps — all in black! (Expect anything else?) She then hit up the after-party at Republic restaurant and lounge.
Dirt premieres Tuesday, Jan. 2 @ 10PM on the FX Network.
George Clooney recently spoke out on the Jen/Vince split to Newsweek: “It began on the set of a film called “the break-up,” so let’s face it: the Vince Vaughn-Jennifer Aniston romance was doomed. It met its official, flack-certified demise last week, but it sounded over many times before.”

Jared, if you go back and read the msnbc article more carefully, you’ll realize that that is not a quote from George Clooney regarding the Jen/Vince relationship, but rather the editors remarks on the demise of the relationship. The words “Breaking Up Repeatedly is Hard to Do” is not a question that was posed to George. It’s part of the authors remarks. The part in quotes is “the break up” b/c it’s the title of their movie. No where else are there quotes around that. It’s not a question, nor is it an answer from George (or anyone else for that matter). It’s a statement made by the author of the article.

She was just so lucky to be part of the ensemble cast of a hit sit-com and married to a trophy husband. Access Hollywood stated that Vince and Jen broke up because Jen was too busy with her CHARITY work. Are you ******* KIDDING ME?!! This stupid ***** hosts dinner, wear a stupid t-shirt and appears on TV for like two minutes with a child she seemed uneasy hugging and that constitutes Charity work? MFG, what or who won’t she Blame for the misery that’s her life.

If couples waited until divorce was final before moving on with their lives, god knows where we’ll all be. Denise and Charlie just concluded their divorce and they’ve been dating other people. I have to disagree. I love my BAMZS, but I would call Jennifer pretty. Not gorgeous or beautiful, but pretty. That is why the “mini-van majority” love her. She’s average, and was able to catch an A-List “Golden-Boy”. It was their dreams come true. That’s why they hate BAMZS so much. They think he left the average girl for a bombshell. And it worries them.

It was the entertainmnet writer that posed that opinion, and oddly enough the blurb is already gone, which just goes to show you….that I believe Maniston does have people on these blogs, and surfing the net — and it’s obvious they called someone up at Newsweek and got them to remove the blurb, because it looked like Clooney was smearing the sit-com hack.

She got the most photos on getty and other agencies, far more interest than the rest of those B-listers at the event. This is so tiresome. Women get divorced every day of the week. Some are left with children whom they must struggle to feed and clothe. Many were physically abused by their husbands. Often, the children witness the abuse and are forever scarred. NONE of that took place here.
It is simply not the end of the world when a partner leaves you. There are thousands of men who would love to be with Jennifer Aniston. But she can’t become part of a “real relationship for a variety of reasons:
1) She CHOOSES to wallow in self pity rather than to start acting like a normal, strong, independent woman;
2) She CHOOSES to be so focussed on public opinion that she is willing to fabricate a relationship rather than waiting for a real one to come along;
3) She CHOOSES to blame Angelina SOLELY rather than do some self-examination to see what she needs to change to become a stronger person for her next realtionship.

1) Who says she is wallowing in self pity - You! She acts very strong, independent and normal. It takes a strong women to go to a outing with press a few days after announcing a break up that you know the press will be crazy over. She is very independent. She does not need a man to follow her around or visa versa. She goes it alone and when it doesn’t work she leaves the relationship. Good for her. Notice how she never needed Brad to follow her around becuase she was independent enough to go on her own. Angie is not able to do that. She needs Brad with her at all times or she can’t cope. My feeling is that Jen and Vince dated. But very quickly, the romance fizzled long before the movie “the break up” opened.
They realized this “are they or arent they” will keep the public interested and will generate ticket sales. So they kept up this charade until the movie and DVD released. I also believe this idea of deceiving the public was proposed by the Aniston camp to Vince. Vince went along thinking no harm done. But once the DVD is released, he needs to start being seen and date other women. Hence, the final announcement.
In my office, even the Jen supporters suspected this relationship (or the lack of)was toasted LONG time ago.

Like you, I have always wondering about that. Lies beget lies. In the past she lied to the public about the baby issue. Some people may say, everybody lies. But think Clinton. He got caught lying to the public about the Monica Lewinsky affair. He was impeached by the house. Why, because Clinton is a public figure. Dont stand out there in front of the media and lied.
In a similar vein, Jennifer Aniston is a celebrity. She should not lie to the public about the baby issue. You cannot even argue she changed her mind about family. The fact that we caught her smoking cigarettes after cigarettes clearly shows she absolutely had NO intent of a baby during the marriage. If there was NO intent of doing something, how can you argue she changed her mind. Lying to the public INTENTIONALLY is a fraud. Now, mind you, dont get sidetracked that she had the right to choose when to start motherhood. We are NOT talking about whether she had the right or not . We are stating a fact. The fact is “she lied”.

The former Friends star has been out and about lately, turning up at a Glamour magazine event in Los Angeles last week and performing in a charity theater festival in New York, but her failure to appear in the company of Vince Vaughn, or even in the same area code, has many convinced the relationship is being propped up for PR purposes.
According to one source with contacts in the Aniston camp, the actress’s handlers fear it would damage her market value to have her seen as a two-time dumpee. “Keeping this ‘relationship’ on the map is a face-saving maneuver,” says the source. “The ‘Poor Jen’ headlines are something she despises, and she’s desperate to avoid another round of it.”
A well-informed tabloid editor puts it more bluntly: “She doesn’t want to be seen as a loser.”
But while Aniston may be selling the happy-couple narrative, the entertainment press, having played along with too many of her past charades, isn’t buying. Us Weekly is leading the charge, with a running timer on its home page tracking, to the second, how long it’s been since Aniston and Vaughn were last seen together. Over the summer, Aniston pooh-poohed an Us report that she and Vaughn were engaged; Us retaliated with a list of all the times her rep, Stephen Huvane, had been caught lying on her behalf.
It would help Aniston’s credibility if she and Vaughn had ever bothered to confirm their couplehood before the reports of their split began to appear. Aniston’s Oct. 16 Oprah appearance, when she tepidly denied there had been a breakup, was her first public acknowledgement of the romance. “They would never talk about the relationship when they were actually having one,” says a skeptic. “Now that they’re not having a relationship, they’re going out of their way to talk about it. It’s perverse.”
Convincing the doubters may require extreme measures. Yesterday afternoon, as Aniston prepared to leave New York, one source told Radar she was believed to be headed for London, where Vaughn has been filming Fred Claus. Huvane declined to confirm or deny that, saying, “I don’t think Jennifer’s personal travel plans or wherabouts are anyone’s business but her own.”
But even a well-executed photo op would fail to persuade most professional celebrity watchers at this point. Says one, “Jennifer Aniston is sort of Clinton-esque in her choice of words. She parses them so that they’re technically accurate, but she’s a well-known liar.”

C Cox lived in Malibu so Jennifer moved close to her. C Cox moves to Beverly Hill and Jennifer moves two doors down. She never travels anywhere(although she talks about it all the time). So where would Brad follow her to. When she wanted to attack Brad and Angelina in VF she was not women enough to do it on her own so she had her friends to do it. Jennifer life is being famous. She has nothing else. Of course she is going to suck it up and go in front of the paps.

That’s what he thought but it was the other way around. I know women of her ilk. They are performers - they have no scruples. The will say anything a man wants to hear just to get the man. I just spent the afternoon with my family. One of them rented TBU and I, not wanting to cause descention, watched it with them. While watching the movie I noticed all the convoluted games she played to demeaned him, manipulated their friends so they’d be on her side. This was all a big plan so he’d be sorry they ever broke up, see the error of his ways and want her back. It dawned on me that she’s been doing a sitcom or romantic comedies for at least 14 years, when she was about 23. This is her reality, this is what she knows about relationships and dealing with them when they go awry. This formula of playing games, teaching lessons, protecting one’s image and pride at the cost of others is repeated time after time on the screen. And then there’s a happy ending where everything is resolved to one’s satisfaction. This is the code that she and her fans live by. No wonder her life has failed so miserably, in the real world games and manipulation do not guarantee a happy ending. someone better tell her.
oh my god - that is the UGLIEST outfit I have ever seen. She needs to stand up straight, and wear long boots with that outfit instead. Seriously, her legs look like a grandmas. AWFUL! Raskolnikov is one of my favorite characters. He could have just played it cool and gone on with his life but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO he couldn’t. It ate him up. He was literally infested with it. So us ordinary people can choose to support your efforts or not support whatever you’re pushing. Lotto winners aren’t breaking down Hollywood doors to get into this world. NOPE. We ordinary people would take the millions buy a couple of nice things in a neighborhood other than Hollywood and remain attached to reality. Dump by 2 men in 2 consecutive years must be painful. I think the problem is JA, herself, if she continue to blame everyone except herself, just like her fans , Jen is always right, it’s the other person who have done wrong or betray her. Then , she’s definitely going to grow old and lonely. And for god shake, she will be 38 pushing 40, act like that age, stop hanging around with her sorority gal pal, spend more time with her male partner and nuture that relation.
Jen never look good in candid shop, she ’s better in those magazine where she was completely brush or in the movie or talk show, where there’s good lightning and make-up that could hide her discrepancy. i can’t help but comment on this one ‘coz people kept on repeating “how classy she handled her divorce”. sorry, but i can’t and won’t classify jen’s actions during her split with brad as anything remotely “classy”.
let’s see, CLASSY is defined as “refined, stylish, elegant and sophisticated”. unless you define her talking to VF and bawling all over the floor during the interivew, with the tears incessantly coming as soon as her rented villa’s door lets in the equally questionable reporter with (maybe) the cameraman in tow…(where’s the refinement in that). i mean, if she were classy, then she wouldn’t even let the media into her “painful” and “private” relationship, er..breakup with her ex. but to actually hold an interview and cry all over the place…and talk smack about the person who she said she’ll love forever…that’s just grossly wrong and screamed PUBLICITY. look at reese witherspoon and uma thurman…now, those two ladies are the real classy ones. they never felt the need to explain themselves or to create a media circus out of their divorce. but this girl, gosh, i can’t even count in one hand the many interviews and guestings she did during and soon after the divorce was finalized. if she honored herself and what remains of her marriage back then, then she wouldn’t be foolish enough to announce to the whole world what’s going on or how she’s dying inside of pain and humiliation. if she kept quiet and did the right thing, she’s be at a better place right now, no doubt. ’nuff said…
now the point is, the backlash that she’s feeling right now is because of her own and her PR machine’s (i.e huvane) doing. she invited the media and the world to not only take a peek but have almost complete access into her life and her relationships (esp. with brad) and into everything she’s doing. how? by constanly alluding to her private life thru again..interviews…with Oprah, in various magazines and what-not. so why does her fans and aniston herself complain now? anistone admitted once (on TV) that she is guilty of talking too much (to reporters and the media in general) about her private life. even brad said in one of his interviews with Oprah (during the promotion for troy) that it kinda gets to him when jen tells her friends about their fights and whatever else about their private relationship as husband and wife (watch that episode of Oprah). anyway, i can go on and on but it’s useless.
finally, it’s never too late to be one classy lady. someday maybe…i have hope for human folly such as her, er. this…i don’t hate her aniston fans. just stating the obvious.

The problem with Jen is she tries to personify the image of American’s sweetheart and the good girl instead of showing some of who Jen really is. I agree Huvane is good, but Berry Gordy had the best PR machine ever made. He had all of america believing the Jacksons were a struggling american family from Indiana with a hardworking dad and 9 talented kids. In fact he lied and had both the family and Diana Ross saying michael was 8 when he was 10. America ate it up. Too bad. First of all, let me start by saying that I read blogs for the sheer comedy and entertainment vailue. Now that we have that out of the way…
… why are foks so up in arms over three people (six if you count the children) who we don’t know personally and probably won’t share intimate moments with. Yes, they’ve all made mistakes. Whether it was Brad cheating (though who didn’t know that was coming when he gave the interview saying something along the lines of not believing in monogamy) or Angie being crazy (and I have to admit I did meet her in NY after Gia and she was nice to me, so I like her) or Jenn. They are entertainers living in a fantasy world. They all have their good points and ****** ones. It’s how you grow that counts.
Was Angie immature at some point in her life, of course, but she grew up and became responsible as a parent. As to the person who said that she didn’t have a career until Pitt, I seem to recall that she did win a little thing called an Oscar as well as several other prestige carrying awards before he entered the picture, so think again. And to whether she is doing charity work to make amends for her sins, again she was doing this before the Anniston-Pitt-Jolie triangle happened.
Has Brad been immature at some point, no doubt, but again he has been (in terms of appearance) making an effort to be an adult and a decent father. I never really thought much about him before except when I thought he was a bit of a pedophile during the Juliette Lewis relationship (she was 16 or 17 at the time they began dating after meeting while filming an NBC movie in 1990). But who am I to judge?
Has Jenn been immature at some point, I’m sure. Is she a bit materialistic, probably or at least in the world of her ex-fiance’ Tate Donovan - (On his former love, Jennifer Aniston) “She likes top-notch hotels and luxury, and I like bed and breakfasts and riding my bike. That’s the most shallow version of it, but it’s indicative of our personalities”. Does that make her a bad person, probably not.
The reality of each of them most likely lies somewhere in the middle. Jenn is not a horse face cunty ***** or the wronged saint, Brad is not the ***** whipped heel or the best thing since **** on a shingle and Angie is not the cut throat ***** or Mother Teresa. They are just flawed people like the rest of us, just with more money, more noteriety and more luxuries.
That being said, I don’t know any of them personally and none of them have **** in my corn flakes; at least I don’t think. Neither have 99% of the folks here.
Yes, let’s have fun and joke, laugh at them when we can, but let’s not take it too seriously because I guarantee that they will all be quite fine with their millions and the flashbulbs constantly stroking their egos.

You are right julia, kudos to you! Jen has never done anything to harm another person. I think the BAMZS people hate Jen because she was Brad’s wife, and unfortunately, Shiloh will be a ******* until Brad and Angelina get married (no pun intended, that’s just a fact). Most of these women are not that attractive. That is what lighting, hair and makeup will do for you. It also helps not to have a job that gets in the way of your all night partying and binge workouts.

Please, everyone, just leave Jen alone. It really does no good to attack her in such a nasty way. Jenny Aniston has worked her way to were she is by busting her butt. She spent years seriously pursuing her career, and I have only the utmost respect for what she has accomplished. She has great natural comedic timing, yet can also play a serious moment. She’s becoming better at her craft every day!

I think she’s nice. An ordinarily nice looking girl…who needs to change her hairstyle. It makes her look like an afghan hound. Why did she go get her nose done? I can’t notice any difference. She would have been better off by having a bit shaved off her chin; balance up the face a bit. But I wish her well. I would love it if VV and her were an item.
I have no idea why everyone is so down on the girl.
