OlderAngelina Jolie Tends To Her Flock
Angelina Jolie attended a photocall earlier this weekend for her upcoming film, The Good Shepard, at The Regency Hotel in NYC. The countdown to the nationwide release of The Good Shepherd has started. December 22, y’all! T-minus 11 days and counting!
So far, the reviews have also been mixed for The Good Shepherd:
- “While a bit unwieldy at nearly three hours and at times slow going, the film is absolutely fascinating for anyone who shares De Niro’s passions.” — The Hollywood Reporter
- “Not boring, exactly, but undeniably tedious.” — Variety
This is the press conference where Angelina shared about possibly playing Ava in Sin City 2: “We talked about it and I read the comic. I don’t think the film is being made at this moment. When it’s actually going to be made I’m sure we’ll talk about it. It was a funny thing, because the idea came to me when I was pregnant. So it was this idea… I’ve been Clover (in ‘The Good Shepherd’), depressed and quiet, and then I was feeling very maternal, pregnant. It was this idea of this sexy, violent and loud [character]… I thought maybe after I’m pregnant it would be nice to do.”

Angelina has already forgiven her father but she chooses to keep him out her life. That is her personal decision and no one else’s.
Anyways, I have don’t have a good opinion of JV but in the end it is Angelina’s decision. She has already forgiven him but she has said, she doesn’t think he would be a good influend in her life. When someone ends up doing more harm to you than helping you, then it is better to distance yourself from them. ANGELINA HAS ALREADY FORGIVEN HIM.

When are people going to realize that we come in all shapes and sizes, and just because one is leaner than others doesn’t mean they aren’t eating just as normal as anyone else. This idea that thinness equates to not eating is wrong. She doesn’t stuff, and from the few things that have filtered out about her eating habits, she eats very much as the French which is small meals, smaller portions of, and no snacking in between. She’s an active person, and apparently someone with a high metabolism at this period in her life. She’s been heavier, but she’s never not been slender, and I doubt she will ever be NOT slender, but that should translate into her not eating imo.

Dropping by and saw so much drama over a pointless poll. Yes, pointless. The Gallup poll is well-respected, but numbers and statistics deserve more than simple absolute number interpretation. 18% no matter how one spins it is nothing. Why?
Consider films are generally recognized as box office hits when they hit the $100 million marker (all things considered and the film doesn’t have a massive budget). Let’s say the average ticket price is about $7 (factoring matinee ticket prices). $100 million divided by $7 is about 14 million people. At ticket prices of $10, that is 10 million. Pirates of the Caribbean generated what? $400 million? That is about 40 million, not even excluding those who saw the film multiple of times. 10 million, 40 million out of 300 million people in the States…. 3% to 13% go to any one film. What is the movie-going base? I don’t know, but I do know a large population don’t spend their money on going to movies period. Everybody has his/her own tastes.
So, 18%…who cares?? If what I’ve seen of this poll finding is correct, 74% are willing to see Angie’s films, leaving 8% indecisive? This is a lot of kvetching over nothing and certainly nothing to hold against Jared or anyone else. Passion is great but think of where that passion can be better applied: in the issues Angie is most passionate about.
With that said, I am thinking of you guys and hope to drop that note soon before X-mas.

The Pitts in NYC
Tonight, Monday night, the world premiere of The Good Shepherd starring Matt Damon with Angelina Jolie, which is why the Pitts are in NYC, anticipation swirling around Angelina’s red carpet arrival…

Trumping Damon and DeNiro at their own picture probably wouldn’t be a wise move and it’s not exactly the occasion for such a huge splash. These two are the best at strategy, remember? Besides, photos of the Chosen Family walking around en masse are enough to reignite the media frenzy in advance of the Golden Globe nomination announcements Thursday morning and Brad has been heavily touted to score for Babel, if not on merit than on television ratings.
As for the Chosen One herself and why they keep her hidden, I’m told it’s really just a question of easy mobility on certain outings. A stroller, a car seat, only two sets of arms for 3 kids, not to mention wanting to avoid when possible any photos of a nanny or a bodyguard holding one of the children – what would be the point of that?
Better to let the mystery grow anew, saving the Chosen One’s genetic gorgessity (apparently an exception to my Celebrity Baby Theory for an occasion when she can make the most impact.
As for an African wedding with Oprah presiding? That ridiculous report in one of the London rags?
Total bollocks.
If they had avoided mentioning Oprah, the story may have been halfway plausible. As it were, the inclusion failed on 3 fronts: Oprah would never alienate Madonna, Jennifer Aniston, and therefore the MiniVan Majority in one fell swoop…at least not without securing international tv broadcast rights for the ceremony and a 2 hour chitchat with the kids, along with full access to Angie’s womb the next time it gets populated.
Clearly not happening.

Please watch the video and you will see why Angie does not smile when she sees paps. We only see pictures usually so we do not know what is going on. If you watch the video, you will see that the paps also say things to BAMZS. One of the guy kept on saying ‘Angelina, we love you baby’. This is not quite ugly but I think some paps has fascination with Angie and might say sexual things to Angie, so this is why Angie walks behind of Brad and she does have no facial expression when she sees paps.
Good morning and thanks for all the great pix. Mad still loves dinos and books I see. That stuffed animal is almost half little Miss Zee’s size. Wonder if Brad is suggesting Zee take the smaller toy in his hands or if that one is for little Shiloh. Brad certainly was ready to be a DAD, Angelina is a wise woman.
