Although we only have AJ’s word, she did say (in the Vogue excerpt above) that they talked things through before getting involved. BP is not a teenager who has got into the relationship just for the hell of having some pretty piece on his arm. I’m sure he knew (and considered the options) of what he was letting himself in for.

Just one thing about the “Trust” comment. When I read it, it reminded me of Aniston refusing to say that Brad was the love of her life. I think Angelina saying that she doesn’t completely trust him was akin to the Aniston comment and striking.

Angelina may be completely different in personality from Aniston (she is infinitely more interesting), but she comes with her own set of issues, baggage and neuroses that Brad has to deal with.

Everyone does, but to read what you guys write about her, it’s like she doesn’t when she most definitely does.

I have always thought AJ had issues and it’s proven with the article reprinted above.

Her way of handling trust is abnormal, irregardless if she grew up in Crazywood or a farm in Kansas, and had a father who abandonned the family for another woman.

Now I am thinking some of the comments her father made about her having “deep emotional problems” did have some substantial merit.

Amazing how quick the both of you latch onto a statement and create the ant-hill/mountain scenario. Perhaps your analysis of her statements could apply to someone who is conventional and a conformist. Every day Joes and Janes, where trust and commitment are key words in society. However this is only one of the most uncoventional, independent,”water of a ducks” girl we are discussing. Where the above neurosis and analysis simply does not apply. AJ has been an independent soul for most her life, private, personal and brutally honest. And trust for someone who has taken on many challenges and obstacles in her young life - is probably perceived as simply over-rated. To trust someone is to allow someone into your life - but who is to say that person can be loyal and trusted forever? hence her statements re: Brad. Not that she expects anything less of him, but she is wise enough to know that he he is a grown man who makes his own choices and descions in life.
And FYI - we do not make Aj out to be a perfect human being, in fact it is just the opposite that we embrace and respect i.e her acceptance of her flaws, foibles and imperfections and the realisation that we are never to old to learn, to grow and to be better than we are.

Why are some people like ritzygal bothered to see the others helping the ones in need? WHY? Is it so hard to be a humanbeing with conscience? Is it hard so hard to respect some people with conscience?

If the photos are paid US$ 4million and this money goes to the ones in need, WHY NOT?

Some celebrities was not been offered, some took the money and kept it for themselves. Why are they are not been criticised and lectured? Because they are not as beautiful and successful and well known internationally as the Jolie-Pitts!

It must really hurt some like ritzygal to see the beautiful Jolie-Pitts receiving all these respect and recognition for what they do.

Haven’t posted for a long time - everyone else says it so well, I don’t need to!
But I do feel the need to respond to some comments about Ange’s interview where she says she doesn’t trust anyone.
I don’t see this as a flaw in her character so much as the result of something pretty awful in her past (which has been discussed before) - added to the fact that she had ‘nihilist’ tendencies, this is a girl who has suffered something pretty bad when she was young & vulnerable, & had that trust smashed.
I think she’s an absolutely awsome role-model - someone who’s gone through the fire and admittedly after some struggles, has really come through it to be a strong, compassionate woman of action.
But just because you grow beyond something doesn’t mean the scars or the lessons aren’t still there - & for Ange, that may be trust.

I would just like to know why he is grabbing her arm like that !

True, they are internationally stars and that is why hello magazine continues to give them exclusive stories and covers becoss people are interested in them. And that is why they are big stars unlike VV and JA in other countries.

Trust is very heavy word.

As Angie said about her mother; her mother might do something which she believes that this is good for Angie. But Angie would think opposite.

You don’t know what your reaction will be before experiencing it personally.

P.S. I think that Angie was sending her father a kind of message for what he did wrong. He thought that it was good for his Angie, but she didn’t think so.

THANK YOU. THANK YOU…honestly, people will see something negative if she said “I want a drink of water”…My Goodness! Let the woman be! It’s just ridiculous. Besides…this is not the vogue interview, some guy took bits and piece of her interview and made wrote his article. Is it to much to ask that they at least wait until they’ve read the real thing before playing Freud.

To me it looks as if they had a big fight before they went to that event, they just don’t look happy. I predict these two won’t last!
