Angelina Sparkles at ‘Shepherd’ Premiere

At their very first red carpet event together, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt rocked the red carpet at the world premiere of her new film The Good Shepherd presented by Universal Pictures at NYC’s Ziegfeld Theatre.

Guys, I like Brad and Angie…..but she has been looking miserable lately. She looks like she’s about to cry in some of these pics. And this is the second recent pic I’ve seen of him grabbing her arm like that. The body language isn’t so great. He looks like he’s trying to keep her from slipping away from him. I can’t believe they came together in GS premiere and Im very glad they did. Im dying to see them together in red carpet and hopefully next in line is oscar red carpet. Thanks for this beautiful pictures. I love them together and their kids.

I’m so late again, and i can’t say anything new, the premiere pics are amazing, and the Fanistons are the same as usual, lol. This Vogue interview seems interesting, hmm if she has trust issues, why not? i had too in the beginning of my marriage. You have to learn to trust somebody, if your family background is not the best. But, let’s not read too much into it, these are only excerpts, and we know this can be misleading. Let’s wait for the whole interview before judging. One thing is sure: Angie is very, very honest. She dares to talk about things most people don’t admit even to themselves.
I’m glad they’ve stepped out officially. This was absolutely necessary.

This goes to the person who said that saying “I´ll love you more than life” and stuff like that is cheesy and overrated and that nobody says things like that anymore…….well my parents do…….and they really mean it!!!

But me on the other hand…..nah…..I don´t trust anybody but my brain…

From what I can see, Angelina is consciously seeking to learn how to trust again – specifically, how to trust Brad. She lives in his homes, lets him adopt her beloved children, has his biological child, rides pillion in Vietnam and in doing these things, surrenders some of that hard won control to Brad. And though she can move out and move on from Brad, she can never get her children back to herself. I don’t see Brad ever letting go of his children – all three, the way BBT did with Maddox. Brad is bonded to his children. He will never relinquish total custody. Can you imagine her fears and how consciously she’s had to deal with the whole issue of trust by allowing Brad to adopt her children, to have his biological children?? Not only did she have to trust him with her life, but also the lives of her children.

Great post. I love the whole, but I REALLY love the part^.

Brad isn’t going anywhere and I know this because “he knew who he fell in love with.” She didn’t just jump out one day AFTER they got together and shout “URPRISE! I’VE GOT TRUST ISSUE’S!”

If they ever did split, they would put those kids first always, but I still would be suprised if they ever broke up, and especially after reading the VOGUE excerpt. Somehow, after reading that, I would be surprised if they ever willingly parted ways.

Beatrice, they all but kicked your Brad hating self off of SoulieJolie as well as other boards because of you campaign to get others to see Brad as a batterer/abuser.

Fair warning people. Beatrice is on a mission to get have Brad viewed as a control freak who’s being physically abusive to Angelina and all because Beatrice isn’t pleased with Angelina’s choice for a partner.

This interview tells me that this - that AJ has not changed, she is her same honest self. Some people can’t handle her brand of truth. She has, however, become more circumspect in how much she allows others to see into her life. I don’t blame her AT ALL. After all she’s got more than herself to protect, 3 beautiful kids and a partner. And the people who want in on the scoop, don’t really care about them. They just want a little of their gold dust. I know that they are in the entertainment business but I get the vibe from them that they would chuck it all in a heartbeat if they could. But, they don’t because they have higher goals to accomplished that is better served with them in the spotlight. At least for the moment. My gut feeling is that probably after 5 years we may be seeing a lot less of these 2 publicly.

looks like all the fun is going on in here. anyway, i totally get where angie is coming from with the trust thing. i can honestly say there are only 3 people i trust in this world and none of them is my mother. not that she isn’t a lovely woman–annoying at times–but i know that if there’s something really close to my heart, she’s the last person i would tell. very simply put, she’s a blabbermouth. the moment i tell her anything, i know the rest of the world will know it within 5 minutes. i don’t know if marcheline has the same verbal diarrhea problem as my mom, but i totally understand not being able to trust a parent no matter how they love you.

I can’t imagine how much stress she has been under since doing that Vogue interview and wondering how it would be received. I wonder how many times she mulled over whether she said to much, to little, how it would effect Brad’s career, her career. I bet her stomach has been in knots for a couple of months now.

Brad’s and the kid’s love for her will eventually wash that old stuff away and I for one am silently cheering them on. I have such respect for the person she is becoming.
