they are so beautiful and Brad looks really proud of his woman. I like that there were a lot of female fans there calling out for Angie! Shows that men AND women love her.

Angelina’s got that look some of us know so well…..a little tired, a little green around the gills, a little peaked….but still gorgeous. It all may just be the whirlwind catching up. We shall see.

Exactly, she has that first trimester look.

Ok, I guess the other threads all close now. I want to say that Z is such a cutie pie and she seems to be a little bow-legged. Oh, she is so cute. And Mad still likes his dinosaurs and such. He looks like he is reading that book and not just looking at pictures. Oh, I cant wait to see all three of them as the grow up. I hope Shiloh will be hanging out with her big bro and big sis more. And the Halloween customs Angie spoke of, how cute is that. I wish we could get a hold of those pictures…Z with a big fro and Mad in dread….hahahha..

Bless your heart! That was a blast to read. Oh my, that was like being there myself. And so funny that you guys were so stunned by Brad that it didn’t hit you until to late. The guy has never been in a position where the person on his arm is who the crowd is screamin for. He’s had more than a few walk the red carpet in the 15-16 yrs he’s been going to these things, but never EVER has one of those women gotten the thunder like Angelina did “as you described it.” And you know, Brad seems like the kind of man who loves that his woman is getting that kind of attention.

I WAS THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I JUST CAME IN

OMG OK I went straight to reply to this thread and not look at any pics or comments as I want to report to you what I saw with my own eyes and heard with my own ears.

First of all it’s a nice night in NY and a nice size crowd. Maybe only 3 people deep along the length of a city block. We were located on the sidewalk across from the Zeigfeld theater. I was right in front of a baricade looking directly across to where the vip’s would be getting out of their cars. So I got a clear view (at least most of the tiime). Invited guests came in black limos, black towncars or black mini vans. There were police security everywhere directing traffic. Each black car would pull up to the center where the media was waiting for them. The first celebrity I saw come in was Timothy Hutton. I don’t know if he was in the film but he came. There were a lot of executive types & minor celebrities rolling up in their sedans and towncars and one of them that the fans recognized was Jane Rosenthal. Robert DeNiro’s partner in Tribeca Films and the Film Festival. She was also a producer. I could not have picked her out of a line up. But the people around me knew who she was.

Next came a pleasant surprise. Actor John Tuturro came out of his car that he rolled up in. We all recognized him and called out his name. Guess What? he came across the stree to us and signed autographs. That was really nice of him. After he went back across the street to the waiting media we all tried to figure out what the most recent film he was in that we saw. We couldn’t remember!

More miscellaneous people, then bam, out comes Matt Damon out of his car. He looked GREAT!!!!!! Very clean cut and handsome. We all yelled and screamed for him to come to our side of the street but nothing doing. He’s not that tall maybe 5″8 but sharp as a tack in terms of look. Very polished.

Robert DeNiro rolled up with his wife Grace. Very handsome and the silver hair suits him. Everytime a vip came up where the media was stationed, there were SCREAMING their names. That’s how we knew who was arriving becasue sometimes there would be other cars or buses blocking our view. That was annoying.

Damon Dash and his designer wife Rachel Roy rolled up. We were all asking when Angelina would come. Too many “minor” people were arriving. We all dreaded the thought that when she would come, there would be a bus close to our side,blocking the view of her coming out of her car or van. That happend on many occasions.

There were police vans stopping right in front of us and we were about to riot because it was close to 7:00 pm, the time the screening was about to start. And here were these police vans blocking our view just as Angelina was supposed to arrive. Out of the blue, the back door of one of the police vans opens up and out comes Brad & Angelina And they were heading for us, the fans side of the street

WE SCREAMED ANGELINA! ANGELINA! not fully comprehending that Brad Pitt was the one who was with her HOLDING HER HAND. The talk among the crowd was that he was not going to be there. They came to our side then went up all along the length of the block where fans were. Brad was holding Angelina’s hand (at some points dragging her away cause she seemed to want to chit chat with us:lol)

I have to say that Angelina is a stunning looking woman. When you see her up close in real life and in three dimension, she takes your breath away. She is tiny, tiny, tiny. A mere slip of a woman. If seems like you can pick her up and twirl her around like a doll. She’s also kinda short. I would say no more than 5″5. She wore her hair up with loose curls. It reminded me like a more regal version of the style worn in A Mighty Heart. The dress she wore was stunning, almost princess like. It was floor length, beaded gown with puff sleeves. The color in real life was a slate gray or a blue/gray color. I don’t know how it photographed because I will not look at photos from tonight until tomorrow after I post in other places. I don’t want it to influence or cloud my memory. The dress seemed a wee bit big for her but it was balanced by her big hair which I thought was also a wee bit too big for her. But she’s soooo tiny that everything will look big on her. The look was very Hollywood.

She was waving & smiling to us as if she were a princess. She was glowing and obviously in love with that gorgeous hunk of beauty, Brad Pitt, who was holding her hand and guiding her every move. Brad is so beautiful that he should be arrested. That type of beauty should be illegal for men WE JUST COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT HE SHOWED UP. We were really stunned. I mean we all knew he was in NY with his family but didn’t think he would be at the premiere. At least I didn’t. They came back down the length of the side walk again hand in hand then Brad took her to the waiting media where they were screaming her name. I don’t know if he let go of her hand when they met the media but I’m here to tell you that they practially came out of the police van holding hands. I still can’t believe that they were literally 12 inches from my face When they went to the red carpet to meet the media it was then that most of us were like “That was Brad Pitt!” Then we all started screaming “Brad”, way to late of course. It seems like they were instructed not to stop and sign autographs much to the sadness of Angelina’s young fans. Those tweens were screaming for her

Here are some facts: The majority of the people there were there to see Angelina. The majority of the people, myself included, were WOMEN. I would say 75% women, teen girls and little girls, the rest men. This throws a wrench into the thinking that women, in general don’t like Angelina (for what ever reason). And most of us there, at least I can speak for myself, are straight. I was surprised by the content of us there. The people looked like they came straight out of central casing. The women there were almost as stunning as Angelina (almost). We were not all stick thin and there were many of us middle agers there as well with kids in tow, but, unbelieveable. I have a theory that beauty attracts beauty. Everyone was well behaved and had funny stories to tell. Many were from out of town, taking in the sights that NYC has to offer this time of year.

Did the topic of Aniston come up? Yes but only once where I was standing. When one woman commented after B&A ’s “royal” walk along the sidwalk, that Jennifer would never have done that. One man disagreed and said that he wernt to the Rumor Has It premiere and said she stayed to talk with fans for 5 minutes.

We were all left to reflect on what just happend as Brad & Angelina were out of sight now, due to them being surrounded by media on the red carpet. One lady next to me said out loud to no one in particular “the way Brad looked, there is no way he’s going to leave that woman”. I’ll end my long post with that.

Thank you for the recap and I love the part that he was leading her. That is how it looked on the pictures also. She always looks a little taken back by all the paps camera. A lot like how “Z” looks when the cameras start flashing. He always seems to be holding her hands or directing her to calm her down and let her know she is safe with him.

Guys, I like Brad and Angie…..but she has been looking miserable lately. She looks like she’s about to cry in some of these pics. And this is the second recent pic I’ve seen of him grabbing her arm like that. The body language isn’t so great. He looks like he’s trying to keep her from slipping away from him. I hope everything is ok with them.
