Gwen is absoloutely incredible. Even though she screwed the ska that was in No Doubt straight into the ground, I still respect her as an artist. If anything, she made No Doubt better because they really weren’t that good of a ska band to begin with. However as a “pop” band they’re quite awesome. Plus her songs about Tony and more recenty Gowan are quite good and I think that pretty much everyone can relate I mean who hasn’t gone through a break up? Anyways, her solo act is even better because it’s more original and creative and less giving to what the general public.

I have “The Sweet Escape” I bought it the day it came out. I think that “4 in the Morning”, “Yummy” and “The Sweet Escape” are the best ones on the album…Swiss Beatz did a sick job also…Gwen is my girl she keeps inventing herself and is also a mother to her child and not having a nanny take care of him “COUGH!” “COUGH!”. Power to her! But I just want her to move on from “Wind It Up” cause there are a lot better songs on the album no offense and I have seen every performance she has done of it and I want to hear live versions of other songs…Can’t wait for the tour this spring.

I have every No Doubt cd and of course her solos : L.A.M.B and now The Sweet Escape. I am known as the “Gwen Chick” at school because all I ever talk about is Gwen of course!!(music wise) All I ever wear is Harajuku Lovers and L.A.M.B. I am broke now because of buying everything lol. Even though Gwen’s latest album came out pretty quick, her style of music hasn’t really change and I think she wants everyone to know that she likes working solo and that she isn’t planning on dropping off the music scene anytime soon.
Her clothing line has changed a bit though, it’s gotten less crazy and more wearable. Hopefully I’ll win the prize pack! ;)
