Angelina Jolie will be on Larry King Live this Monday with The Good Shepherd co-star Matt Damon and director Robert De Niro. Here’s a little preview:
Larry King:: Are you gonna get married?
Angelina Jolie :: No…
LK :: I wish you lots of luck. Someone said you’re planning a Christmas wedding in South Africa.
AJ :: [giggles] No… but thank you for your support if I was. But I’m not.LK :: You sold the pictures of your baby, right?
AJ :: We did for charity, yes.
LK :: Oh, it went to charity? And the money?
AJ :: Yeah. [The paparazzi] were gonna get that picture. They’re gonna get pictures of my kids unfortunately no matter what we do, so we chose to control it and give the money to charity and not paparazzi.
Angelina also addressed how Brad and she will handle raising kids as movie stars: “As we get older, maybe we’ll do less films. We’ll be less focused on [films] as our children hit their early teens or at times when it’s really, really on them. So this hopefully is as bad as it’s going to get for us. And we don’t raise our kids in Hollywood. They don’t go to sets every day. They travel the world and do many, many other things. So hopefully they don’t think this is just what their parents do for a living. They know many other things about who we are. … They’re restricted by they have a lot of other blessings. And like every parent, you just do the best you can with whichever situation you have.”

Angelina’s farts smell like a spring breeze, her children are the second coming. She is a Saint. It’s just too bad someone is holding her at knife point making her do movies and interviews, subjecting her to all the paparazii. Get real people, her outings and interviews are well orchestrated for publicity. If she didn’t have a movie coming out she wouldn’t be whoring herself like she is. But, it’s ok because she gives so much to charity right? Wrong, just because you are able to give more money than the average person doesn’t make you any better. And her whole thing about how her and Brad fell in love, that makes bile rise in my throat, again another publicity stunt. She shamelessly whores herself and people eat it up. All Hail Angelina!!! And yes………I’m being a hater so let the bashing begin. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD……..NO I’M NOT A JENNIFER ANISTON FAN! So when you start commenting do not use that as an excuse as to why my opinion is what it is.

The only thing that I can add is that Life is great……2006 is about to end and another is about to open. Angie and Brad must have done something right in their lives because Someone Up There or Around us is has given them so much blessings.
She comments that she knew that Brad was married to his best friend yet she still goes there.
In the interview she tries to win over the PR - in doing so, makes Brad look like the cheating. Which he is anyway.
Marriage is sooo special it deserves respect.

Great post! Both Angie and Brad have dealt with alot for far too long. The chemistry between the two of them on mams was amazing. I remember when I watched the movie for the first time, I knew that they would end up together. When two people have chemistry that strong, they have to be together. It was an instant attraction they both fought for the right reasons. Brad did the right thing by leaving and not cheating. Judging by how manipulative JA has been during the past year, I don`t wonder what went wrong in their marriage. Brad and Angie are a better match for each other. They are both very down to earth and have a passion for helping people. They both love being parents and are very good ones. I feel they compliment each other very much. I am so happy they found each other. They have such a beautiful family! There is no doubt they are very much in love with each other!
I loved watching them walk the red carpet together. I love how they held hands, and how he squeezed her hand just before he sent her off to do her interview. It was kind of a “you`re my girl and you`ll be great” kind of squeeze. I video taped it, so I can just keep watching it. I just can`t get enough of them!
I can`t stand LK, but will suffer through it to watch the beautiful Angelina Jolie!

Angie didn’t kidnap nor held a gun on Brad’s head forcing him to leave his wife. It’s Brad , who chooses to leave that unhappy , unfulfill, childless marriage. I believed no one can break a marriage if it was solid as a rock.
I agree marraige is special and deserves respect, but unfortunately, not all marriage work. Brad and Jen were part of the 50 % marriage in America and 80% of Hollywoond marriage that didn’t work. no big deal.
Yey, I am taking next Monday off.

I think its both a relieved for Brad and Angie after these Vogue interview and the TGS premier. They set it clear and clean, and now can move to another chapter of their life. God bless them.
Yes, +++. I agree. This should be the first and last explanation on the subject they give to the public.
They do not owe anybody any more digging into their personal lives, plus with some people you can never win (like the mean spirited “Please let me…” comment here) - no matter what they say it will always be turned around.
So, I would say - move on and let the critics critic as much as they like… For every 1 hater there is 10 people that admire Brad and Angelina!

Angelina Jolie (with Brad Pitt) told us that she’d be unsupportive of her kids if they ever wanted to play real-life spy games. Maybe Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh can grow up to be picture-perfect superstars like Mom and Dad.

On Dec. 22, Universal Pictures will release “The Good Shepherd,” a film in which Matt Damon plays counterintelligence section chief Edward Wilson and Angelina Jolie plays his wife, Clover. In the film, directed by Robert De Niro, the Wilsons’ son, Edward Jr., announces he would like to follow in his father’s footsteps by joining the CIA.
At Monday’s New York premiere of the movie, an operative of the Rush & Molloy column discreetly questioned Jolie and her lover, Brad Pitt, as to whether they would support their own children’s interest in an Agency career.
It is Rush & Molloy’s belief that the Jolie-Pitt children, though currently young and untested, could make strong assets. Son Maddox , now 5, is a former Cambodian national skilled in handling all-terrain vehicles (based on analysis of recent surveillance photos). His sisters, Zahara (11 months old; born in Ethiopia) and Shiloh (6 months; born in Namibia), come with perfect pretexts for future sub-Saharan missions.
We regret to inform you, however, that Jolie was as adamant as her film character in scotching possible recruitment.
“It’s not going to happen,” the actress stated bluntly.
Pitt seemed reluctant to discuss the matter in the public setting of a party attended by Damon, John Turturro, Billy Crudup, Harvey Keitel, Liam Neeson and Danny Aiello. Pitt did appear willing to listen to future entreaties, acknowledging Langley’s post-9/11 trend toward openness.
“I think [the agency is] redefining itself,” said Pitt. He also seemed to appreciate its unheralded successes. “It’s hard to say how good [today's agents] are,” Pitt noted. “If they’re doing their jobs right, we never find out.”
Pitt and Jolie show a clearability for covert action and disinformation. Jolie states in a CNN interview with Larry King airing Dec. 18 that the couple will not be getting married in South Africa during the holidays (if ever). But Pitt’s final comment at the party suggested he may already consider himself married.

She was making the point that she knew nothing of Brad, so she just assumed that he was happily married. She had never met him before so she just went with the whole charade of them being the golden couple.Which is proof that she did not go after him. Which is why she said she was not looking for a relationship. Which is why she said she did not mean to fall in love with Brad.I am sure that once they became friends he confided in her that he was in the worlds biggest fake marriage ever. I don`t think I will ever understand how people lives have been so shattered by Brad and Jen breaking up. Their marriage ended two years ago. Why on earth is it still making so many of you bitter? Brad and Jen were unhappy. Brad met Angie and he came back alive! Brad and Jen are divorced! Angie is Brad`s new wife! Together they are the parents of three children! Why is it ok for JA`s fans to wish this family would break up. and yet accuse Angie of being a homewrecker? Brad and Angie are together and will always be!

IT’S A REALLY ‘GOOD SHEPHERD’

A great actress. December 13, 2006 — LISTEN to me. Pay attention. Some thing I must tell you:
“The Good Shepherd” is possibly the best spy thriller ever made. No mindless soulless ice ‘em, slice ‘em, dice ‘em fast-food chop suey, this film is for chess players, not checkers players. High school dropouts can stick to Daniel Craig’s shoot-’n'-shout schlock.
Robert De Niro is a stunning director. The huge cast beginning with Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie, Keir Dullea, Timothy Hutton, William Hurt, Joe Pesci, Alec Baldwin, Tammy Blanchard, John Turturro, Billy Crudup, Ann Hampton Callaway and De Niro himself is threaded through seamlessly. He isn’t self-indulgent. His camera doesn’t linger. As Universal’s CEO Ron Meyer put it to me: “Bobby was incredibly focused. So prepared. He loved doing this one.”
A complex story of the early days of the CIA, of Kennedy, the Bay of Pigs, the ’60s, post WWII Communist Russia, the days when idealists loved our blessed America, it’s lengthy, but this director with towering ability moves it. My friends at the motion picture academy swear they will hustle for Robert De Niro for Best Director.
Angelina’s acting ability is as powerful as her beauty. She’s excellent. The whole cast is excellent. But this is Matt Damon’s picture. Shorn of tics and tricks, his eyes, his body language, his intensity tells it all. Not a false move. Playing a CIA chief, Matt is a lesson in Acting 101. In “The Good Shepherd,” Matt Damon is an Oscar nominee.
This being its premiere at the Ziegfeld, some of us talked luck. Mrs. De Niro, Grace Hightower - nifty in allover black and diamonds: “I have to tell you I did do a little affirmation earlier today, so I know it’s going to be wonderful tonight.”
I asked Angelina what she’d done for luck. Laughing, she said: “Luck? I don’t need to do anything to get luck. I already have luck. I brought my luck along tonight, and he’s sitting right with me.”
And her luck stepped back to give his lady the whole spotlight. Brad’s comment to me: “Hey, I’m off-duty tonight.”

December 13, 2006 — ANGELINA Jolie has Brad Pitt well-trained. The Hollywood hunk made sure not to upstage his Oscar-winning love at Robert De Niro’s after-party the other night for his new flick, “The Good Shepherd,” which co-stars Jolie and Matt Damon. Pitt hovered in the shadows as best he could while Jolie held court with Liam Neeson, Oliver Stone, Grace Hightower, Harvey Weinstein and other luminaries at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Then, playing cocktail waiter, he ordered Ketel One vodka martinis for Jolie and himself. Pitt also fawned over Damon, asking him if he’d worked out to prepare for his role as one of the covert founders of the CIA. [More on Brangelina: Cindy Adams, Page 30] Pitt was sighted the day before with son Maddox at Mars 2112 in Midtown, where he patiently waited in line and looked amused that the woman at the front counter had no idea who he was after he gave her the fake name “Jack M.”

I think this explains why we see so few pictures of Shiloh. Brad and Angie want to make sure that when we do, the money goes to a needy charity rather than some paparazzi.

I just love that Angie discusses LONG RANGE PLAN with Pitt. “When we get older”. Whether they truly last is entirely up to them, but at least, it is clear that SHE think this is IT, Brad is the man she wants to grow old with and apparently he feels the same discussing future plans for the years to come. No wonder any negative press nor vicious haters cannot even come close to touching their happiness. More criticism they get, stronger their solidarity becomes. I wish them all the best.
