OMG Brad Pitt, King Midas Touch.

I just watched something extraordinary, First of all it’s on a channel I never knew existed. It’s a channel that focuses on films, the actors, directors, producers, etc.. It’s called Reelz Channel. For those who have Directv it’s on channel 225. I don’t know if Dish has it.

Anway this show came on called “What it Takes”. It is a look at what it took for some of Hollywood’s biggest names to make it large in showbiz. Through interviews from industry experts and the stars themselves, each episode reveals the choices they made, and the steps they took to get to the top of the Hollywood heap.

Tonight was Gwyneth Paltrow. How she got her start, etc…BTW I loved Emma!
Anyway they examine her relationship to Brad (he looks the same as today) and I can’t believe what was said. We all speculated but to hear a critic of the NY Times outright day it was something. First of all Gwyneth said that Brad was with her at a time of her life when she was “messed up” emotionally. She couldn’t believe he stuck it out with her for as long as he did. Brad fell hard for Paltrow they said. Then the critic said Gwyneth OWES HER CAREER to two men; one is Harvey Weinstein (Miramax founder who made her an indie queen) and Brad Pitt. The critic said yeah they were boyfriend & girlfriend but that she leveraged that high profile relationship to get where she wanted to be. Astonishing. I never heard it said out loud. LOL!!! Now how long will it be before we get an episode featuring X? How her relationship/marriage to Brad was leveraged to the max, to the point that her delusional fans think that X made Brad famous. But the problem is that Jen never made it to where Gwyneth is. Jen is still considered a sitcom actress know for her hairstyle & Brad Pitt (marriage & divorce, no children). basically by being in a relationship to Brad put these women into the Hollywood statesphere that they would never have gotten. Now with Angelina, it’s different. She was already in the stratesphere and was fully established as an award winning actress way before Brad came into the picture.

Jolie has always been honest and truthful, that is why I like her. She does not care how the public perceives her. She was once quoted as saying “I’d rather be hated for who I am than be loved for who I am not”.

Jolie just wants to tell her version of the story and put it on record. She has children who in the future will come to read and question Aniston’s VF article.

I know I dont want to miss out on a magazine article or interview and I dont have a problem with anyone else asking about either. Not everyone has the time to read through all the threads to find info. If a particular topic doesnt interest me, I move on to another post.
