OlderAngelina Jolie on ‘Larry King’
Angelina Jolie will be on Larry King Live this Monday with The Good Shepherd co-star Matt Damon and director Robert De Niro. Here’s a little preview:
Larry King:: Are you gonna get married?
Angelina Jolie :: No…
LK :: I wish you lots of luck. Someone said you’re planning a Christmas wedding in South Africa.
AJ :: [giggles] No… but thank you for your support if I was. But I’m not.LK :: You sold the pictures of your baby, right?
AJ :: We did for charity, yes.
LK :: Oh, it went to charity? And the money?
AJ :: Yeah. [The paparazzi] were gonna get that picture. They’re gonna get pictures of my kids unfortunately no matter what we do, so we chose to control it and give the money to charity and not paparazzi.
Angelina also addressed how Brad and she will handle raising kids as movie stars: “As we get older, maybe we’ll do less films. We’ll be less focused on [films] as our children hit their early teens or at times when it’s really, really on them. So this hopefully is as bad as it’s going to get for us. And we don’t raise our kids in Hollywood. They don’t go to sets every day. They travel the world and do many, many other things. So hopefully they don’t think this is just what their parents do for a living. They know many other things about who we are. … They’re restricted by they have a lot of other blessings. And like every parent, you just do the best you can with whichever situation you have.”

Oh please ritzy. Walters had been after Brad to do the interview and in fact had talked to his people about doing it. I stated they heard Brad was going to do a sit down and Walters was leading people right up until the end that she had it in the can.

Here’s a report from an Angie fan who was at the TGS afterparty on Monday…
[brad came and sat down next to angelina, it was so surreal.. he put his hand on her back and was rubbing it playfully and she ran her fingers through the back of his hair.. then she whispered something in his ear and they kissed! I wasn't even dying (cuz for those of you who know me.. know how extremely jealous i am of brad!) i actually thought it was sweet seeing them together, and seeing angelina so happy. It made me happy to see her so happy. and all my hate and anger for brad kind of vanished. I knew in that moment that Angelina had truly found love again, it was confirmed, i saw it with my own eyes.. finally after a year of over analyzing i was happy with her and brad.]

Yeah, just like you claimed in another post after the pictures on the 8th at the Regency Hotel that Angelina wasn’t doing anything but a “fitting” since you saw Jennifer Rade with her. Of course it since came out that she did the press conference that day.
You’re just GUESSING at things and trying to pass it off as “inside information”. Nothing wrong with making guesses, but just be up front about it, stop trying to seem like a big shot.

Who are you and where’s this from? I mean I’ll take it as it sounds like great stuff. But who is reporting this? Were you at the party?
Wow! The ‘missus’ and her ‘luck’ are giving out gold everyday of this junket. I thought from our ‘industry insider’ that Cindy Adams was going to come down on AJ like a ton of bricks, but this column was like a love note to Damon, DeNiro, TGS and BA.
And her comments about “when the children are older” totally make me think of RaiderFan’s stories about the JP kids. After this week, they can go off into holiday retreat at this point. I’m good — I am stuffed with JP goodness. I knew that at some point the mainstream Hollywood machine would have to change its tune — these people are stars.
I am no Mel Gibson fan (I was in the early days, but his madness-fueled aggression became creepy to me), but look at the discourse around him after his ridiculous hostility became overtly anti-semitic (and sexist). Disney couldn’t let Apocalypto tank, so they gave him access to their ABC news division — hence Diane Sawyer. Now the movie is a success (I won’t see it not because of Mel but because the description of the violence puts it in my ‘not without significant drugs’ category) and though Mel is still the butt of some late night snark, he’s effectively bounced back — until the next event. Show business is the BUSINESS of Show.
This year, while most of the JP news was personal, the infotainment people could afford to play with the triangle, the birth, the Namibian sojourn. Now, Babel, Blanchett, TGS, DeNiro, and award season — they got to recognize. The triangle is dead. Of course people are going to stick with it; it’s the lazy media at its worst — for now. But we have to remember that they have not talked about anything but their children and their philanthropies for a year and a half. I took AJ ‘going there’ as a positive assertion that they are done with that (tell the truth and shame the Devil, baby!) and they are future oriented. They are perfectly capable of handling questions about their lives and they are A FAMILY.
I would pay good money to be a fly on the wall at the senior Pitts in Springfield. I hope they see that their son is a happy man who has grown up to be powered by love — of the missus, the children, the work, and the world.

AJ is a beautiful, vibrant woman. You can tell that she is happy with her personal life and has found peace and contentment. Jen hens will never let go of the past and so there is no debating with them. Oh well, it is their free time and constitutional right (smile). I am looking forward to the Larry King Interview, not because of LK, but AJ and the rest of the cast of the Movie. I wish Brad and Angie a long life together, health for their children and professional success in 2007 and beyond. Peace to all.

I was curious to see how the fanistons were taking this barrage of all things Brad and Angelina, especially the red carpet event. Boy, the FF heifers were really in full force. They are all predicting that they will separate soon, that Angie looks so sad and angry in the red carpet pictures — I guess they just looked at the photos and did not see the entertainment shows, or even clicked on ET and accesshollywood interviews.

Actually there where plenty of pictures where they where smiling while they where posing for the cameras.Angie had her arm around Brad’s waist and Brad had his hand on Angie’s butt.And they where holding hands almost in every picture.Brad was even drooling over Angie’s boobs in some of the pictures! :lol: And there is one lovely pic of them where their heads are touching and you can tell that they are ready to kiss eachother.So it wasn’t only the entartaintment shows that showed how happy and in love they are.The truth was there in front of their eyes.And we all know how terrible they are in hadling the truth. Even when they are smilimg the haters will say “look how they are faking”.It dosen’t matter to them.Brad and Angie will always be unhappy in their eyes no matter all the wonderfull thinks they’re saying for each other.No matter how much in love they look.They will always live in their own la la land.

Actually, Angelina also did have a fitting that day at the Regency for the dress she wore Monday night.
So the truth is, B12 was right. So just stop it.
She looks beautiful and happy, and I Iove her hair that way too. I guess I’ll have to suck it up and endure a few minutes of crabby old Larry King to get some Angelina.
God Bless Angelina for her work……and God Bless her for using her fame to do all these. I used to doubts her motive. But shame on me and shame to all people who are so extremely and hurtfully critical of her. My question is why…..is it envy? May we are all be forgiven for hurling the rocks to the sinners(????).

By reading the comments there are two things I saw which I like to ask about:
1- In the cast of The Good Shepherd, Timothy Hutton is acting. Wasn’t he the first well known boyfriend of Angie? If it is so, this is what a coincidence she was pregnant with her first bio child and acting with her first known boyfriend. I read somewhere that she had a H tattoo because of Timothy Hutton and her brother James Haven.
2- This question is asked because my English is not good; in the interview Larry King asked Angie:
L.K. : You sold the pictures of your baby, right?
A.J. : We did for charity, yes
L.K. : Oh, IT went to charity? And, THE MONEY?
The parts I didn’t get it in Larry King’s question I wrote in the capitals. What is IT? The photo or the money of the photo? If it was the money why did he asked “And, THE MONEY?”
If IT was the photo, did the charity sold the photo and got the money?
Was it clear to you and is it just me? Now, I sound like Lainey!!
Did Jen Reach Out To Brad?
In Vogue’s January issue, Angelina Jolie says she wants to make peace with Jennifer Aniston. But these days Aniston is busy reaching out to her ex-husband Brad Pitt.
One insider tells Us that Aniston turned to Pitt for support during her breakup with Vince Vaughn. “She’s calling him and saying, ‘I just need to talk to you. I’m not doing OK.’”
(“Jennifer has not called Brad,” says Aniston’s rep. Pitt’s rep tells Us, “To my knowledge, Brad and Jennifer have not spoken on the phone.”)
And though reps for both Aniston and Pitt deny the exes have seen each other, one source says Pitt recently visited Aniston at home.
“He wanted to make sure she’s doing OK,” says the friend. “Brad is a decent guy and wanted to be there for her.”
What would Jolie think about Brad offering Jen a shoulder to cry on?
“Angelina doesn’t care at all,” says a mutual friend of the couple. “She is so confident about their relationship that she’s encouraged him to go over to see Jen. Angelina feels sorry for her.”

The ever-popular America’s Sweetheart Julia R did not respect her present husband’s previous marriage. Kate H, another America’s Sweetheart, did NOT respect her own marriage. Ryan P did not respect his own marriage to still another AS, Reese W.
