Then what makes Aniston so classy? Getting a divorce certainly doesn’t and she isn’t the victim of “infidelity” you guys try to make her into. From what I’ver heard most people think she’s classy because they think she’s a snazzy dresser and has cool hair and a hot bod or something or other.

There’s a chance that Brad can get awards for both Babel & The Departed according to someone on IMDB. He was a producer for The Departed and would get the Golden Globe & Oscar if it won Best Picture. Of course I think for Golden Globe, he will win for Babel. Brad is more of an international star now. That gives you more of an edge at the Golden Globes than at the Academy Awards.

I wonder if they are still in LA wouldn’t you think the paps would get a picture?

now that she’s talking about “ATLAS SHRUGGED” I recommend you all read that book. maybe reading “FOUNTAINHEAD” before that, would give everyone a better understanding of what Atlas is … and of Ayn Rand.

Observer 2 - Is Brad the sole owner of Plan B now that Brad Grey had to sell his share. I know there are a lot of producers involved in the company but I know the company was started by the two Brads and X…so is Brad the sole owner now that the other two are not a part of it?

Yes, stardust he is. When Grey left for Paramount, he sold his share to Brad Pitt and a percentage to Dede Gardner, though, she’s not considered an owner. Brad Pitt had the majority ownership and with Dede Gardner’s new agreement, she was given more power than Aniston. It was a move by his team to force Aniston out of the company.

It worked and Aniston was not a happy camper. She got owned.

I think it is strange how someone can “hate” someone they dont know and who has done nothing to them. Everyone speaks about karma..usually the haters who have been saying for more than a year now that karma will cause bad things to happen to Brad and Angie. Karma works both ways though… good or bad things may occur based on a persons deeds. Since great things have been happening in Brad and Angelina’s life lately… if you believe in karma, you have to believe they have done nothing wrong to warrant such irrational hate. And, if you do believe in karma, you might want to reconsider the hateful thoughts and words you throw towards others.

I heard Larry King ask Angelina Jolie if she and Brad Pitt are getting hitched in a Christmas ceremony in South Africa. She denied it, and seemed slightly annoyed and amused all at the same time (she does that thing so well).

There is indeed a rumor floating around about this, and I have to admit, I helped start it.

Quite innocently, but I helped start it just the same.

Because I am an interfaith minister and a specialist in multifaith and multicultural weddings, OK! Magazine asks me sometimes to offer commentary on celebrity marriages involving different cultures. A couple of weeks ago they asked me to comment on what a wedding in South Africa might be like.

As I was wrapping up my research, it was revealed to me that they heard that Brad and Angie were planning a wedding there. I thought, okay, I’ve already commented on their potential Hindu wedding, so what the heck. I’m just offering the spiritual and cultural perspective.

The December 18 issue comes out in early December, carrying the story, “Brangelina’s Africa Wedding” with a little, tiny sidebar, “South African Nuptials” quoting me on customs.

The main story said Oprah would be a special guest. That was the first I had heard of that.

Cut two, that weekend, google news is teaming with articles on Brad and Angelina’s South African wedding. Seems one of the British tabloids picked up the OK! story and bam… it was all over the world. Now, a rumor becomes a possibility. And it continues on.

Even Larry King asked about it.

Now I am going to add to it by posting this piece on how the rumor started, and later, by sharing what I know about South African weddings.

John Kasich subbed for Bill O’Reilly on The Factor tonight 12/14/06, but as usual the biggest head on cable pre-recorded several segments so viewers wouldn’t forget him over the long weekend. In one segment he deigned to psychoanalyze the behavior of celebrities who allow some pictures of their children to be published and of course, he is outraged. Outraged!

Of interest, introducing the segment Kasich said that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s beautiful baby Shiloh was splashed all over the tabloids today, and the graphic was of the NY Daily News and the NY Post (owned by Murdoch and frequently used as a reference to bolster - echo - a talking point.)

In the video, O’Reilly asserted that these babies should be out of the public eye, and that for the parents to “market” them for fame, fortune, publicity (yeah, Brangelina needs the money) is “just low, is it not?” His guest, Katrine Szish of US Weekly magazine, said of course exploitation would be wrong, but fans want to know details and celebs who allow a peek and then say now leave us alone…. O’Reilly interrupted and whined, they’re not going to leave them alone anyway! That’s a bogus argument.

He concluded that they - Cruise, Jolie, Pitt, et al - allow these pictures to “get people to like them - aaww, look at the cute little baby; they’re just like you and me.” It’s wrong, he insists, just wrong. Szish argued that it is bizarre, but Hollywood is a bizarre place. O’Reilly wants to know why society doesn’t say hey, knock it off, you people. O’Reilly said he loooathes the paprazzi - he hates them! They’re intrusive and dishonest.

This from a man who sent his producers after judges who handed down light sentences, going so far as to harrass a man into his garage. Another time his producer followed a tee-shirt maker down the streets for daring to make shirts listing the names (to date) of US soldiers killed in Iraq (Bush lied, they died) . If O’Reilly disapproves of you he has no problem sticking a camera in your face and barring that, he’ll use his national soapbox to call you names, call your morals into question (see above), and pass judgment on your decisions and positions.

If society DID say hey, knock it off O’Reilly would be out of a job. If society said “we don’t want to know the details of strangers’ lives,” which is essentially what he’s calling for, FOX would have to stop carrying stories of the Natalee Holloways, the Laci Petersens, the JonBenet Ramseys, (remember how much mileage they got out of that non-story?) the teens who talk back, the 14-year-olds who have had abortions - all of it. It’s none of our business and it’s wrong - just wrong. So yeah, knock it off.

To Observer2—of course not, because you know me so well.

Still, what happened 6 years ago reflects on Angelina as a person, and I would hardly call her classy. Just because someone dresses well and does charity work does not make them classy.

Of course her past will reflect on her present if that’s what someone wants to focus on. I have great admiration for her never allowing what others think to stop her from being who she is no matter where she was at that point in her life. Her honesty is admirable even if some of her decisions were questionable. She’s never boasted of her past, but she’s not ashamed of it either. She acknowledges that her getting to where she is now led her down a path to destruction , but she stopped short, changed her course and has done in a very short time some amazing, and life affirming things. She’s done more to help others in her 31yrs than some people blessed with being on this earth three times as long have, and it’s the wise person who’ll focus on that instead of the route that would suggest that they’ve never wondered off the straight and narrow.
