It’s All In The Family
People’s end-of-the-year double issue features the Jolie-Pitt family–Angelina, Brad, Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh–in Cambodia. The pictures show the family very relaxed and happy and includes great shots of the kids. Be sure not to miss out on the close-up of baby Shiloh!

Yeah I think any awards would go to Brad & Dede. I think the movie has a shot. I’m not on this Dreamgirls bandwagon. We already had the Chicago musical win a few years ago and critics regret it. I’m not a war fan so Flags of my Father, Iwo Jima, etc. are out. The Queen? maybe.

Yep, Aniston’s problem, all the children wanted to stay with Brad. The only one that lined up with Aniston was Kristin Hahn. We saw how well that worked out for her.
Aniston didn’t have anyone on her side because it was always the Brad’s company. Aniston made a bit of a fool out of herself over the entire deal.
When she was out there spouting that she left because it got too big. People within the industry were laughing at her gall.

It’s okay if you still have a tiny hope left that Britney and Justin will get together one day. I won’t hold it over your head. Lol. Who knows..a lot more surprising things have happened in life.
The thing about Britney’s antics is that people dismiss her wrong doings but they go after K-fed like he is the only one guilty of ruining her life. Not that I’m defending the dude or anything. hehe.
You know sometimes..I think that those who are such strong propenents of marriage think that marriage makes everything better. I am reminded of those people who keep hoping that Brad and Angelina will get married. I am not against them getting married but it’s not a problem with me if they don’t. They are just as much of a married couple without an official ceremony. The difference is a piece of paper to me. Gay marriage is a different thing to me because of the matter of civil unions being recognized. That’s a different issue and I’m all for it.
I don’t understand how some can feel that a marriage makes a relationship better in their eyes. Just because two people don’t get married but have been together for a long time doesn’t mean their love for each other is any less than married couples. It’s like a marriage saying…”okay know I believe you love each other because all this time I thought you were not really in love”. Atleast, that’s how it comes across to me. Don’t get me wrong..I’m not against marriage but I don’t see necessity of pushing for it so much.
Anyways…all the comments on Britney and Justin that I’ve read on blogs got me started on a rant. Thanks for the insight on Britney fans and their MO.
And about the little boy…glad he isn’t in denial. I wonder if he’s had a talk with his parents yet. lol.
Didn’t Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie dye their hair the same color again?

Thanks for the answer. Yup..she got owned big time. I wonder if the movies she took with her will ever make it to the big screen. Doesn’t look like anyone is willing to finance any of the projects she took with her.
Oh Cliniqua…that Bill-O…honestly I just remind myself that even though he has big ratings most of his viewers are elderly and are most likely falling asleep during his show. Besides, he’s a misogynist, hypocrite, proven liar and the list just goes on. Angie and Brad put their money where their mouths are by donating the money from these pics to charity while Bill-O…he prefers falafels :) He hates on people based on their associations too, he’s not too fond of GC either.
You’re welcome stardust.
No, no studio is willing to even finance the scripting of the projects she took with her.
Jennifer Aniston is finding out that getting work as Jennifer Aniston and not Mrs. Brad Pitt, is a pretty difficult thing.
Plus, the way she talked about RHI. She pissed off, not only George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh, but also Warner Bros. studios. She was hoping that they’d offer her a production deal and they didn’t.
Hey;
Since when are blondes and brunette’s the same hair color. And duh, Brad died his hair black for his role as Jesse James. Next time you want to take a dig, maybe, you shouldn’t take one based on nothing.

I’m pretty much agree with on the importance of a marriage license. Some people need that piece of paper while others don’t.
Whenever I hear civil unions I’m just reminded of separate but equal. My mind goes back to those people who were very against interracial marriage in this country because like now “It’s against God’s will” There the religious aspects of it yet there are no laws preventing atheists or agnostics from marrying or people of different faiths. I look at South Africa…and I just think “Damn, America is so stubborn!”
I would love to see that sit down. “Mom, Dad I’m gay….I’m gonna go out and play hopscotch now.”
The truth about Billy Bob Thornton:
“I am a scared person,” he told The Sunday Times. “I walked away. It’s the most stupid thing I’ve ever done. I fell in love the hardest I have ever fallen, and that was a scary thing. Nothing was her fault, absolutely nothing, it was all down to me. I was afraid she would see how scared I was and realise I was not the man she thought I could be”.

Norma Desmond Says:
“Being that I’m an old Hollywood buff, I’d say that Brad & Angelina remind me much of the glamourous old Hollywood. Angelina can easily be put in the same sentence starwise as Sophia Loren, Audrey Hepburn, Ava Gardner, Brigitte Bardot & Catherine Deneuve and Brad easily brings to mind the star wattage of golden boy William Holden, Paul Newman and Robert Redford”
I agree. There is something about Angelina that can be so classic and timeless yet also completely anachronistic. The combination of things that make Angelina Jolie Angelina Jolie make her one of the few iconic actresses that exist today and that will be remembered a generation from now. I personally have always felt that Angie and Lauren Bacall share a similar aura. Lauren Bacall is like one of my all time fav old hollywood actresses. (Way better than Hepburn! lol) I wish one of these days Angie would do a film noir. She has the most perfect look for it. I know most people hated Cyborg 2 but one of the reasons I love it is the cinematography. It has a kind of cold 80’s feel ala Blade Runner, (even though it was made in the 90’s) and it really takes advantage of Angie’s photogenic face. One of the things I love about old Hollywood films and french new wave films is how they celebrate beauty in it’s simplicity and know how to create a certain aesthetic.
This is one of my fav shots of the film:

cliniqua, you put yourself in a very stupid situation by writing supportive comments with other names for yourself. Most of the times new names are supporting your comments. Funny!

Please don’t include me with the “haters”. I am only posting here as “Krissy” and just because I’m not a super fan does not make me a hater. I’m not a super fan of Jen Aniston either. I simply had a question as to the ferocity of the fans and have had it answered fairly by one so far. Just because someone has a different “hero” than you do does not mean they hate that person.
^^^
Just because *I* think you’re full of it doesn’t mean I think you’re a hater. But so what if you were? this isn’t groupthink. I speak only for myself when I say you reached your caca load limit hours ago, but that still doesn’t mean I think you’re a hater.

I agree observer 2 that quote was awesome,
She said “so many people involved” …in exploiting
I think quote was not only directed Aniston but also at Vaughn, Oprah, Vainty Fair, GQ etc. …and many others who exploited the divorce for pr purposes. Brad and Angie are aware of all those many people who exploited Brad’s divorce for personal gain. If Jen Aniston was any kind of a women or decent human being she would set the record straight and make a heartfelt apology to the Jolie Pitt Famly, when I think that Z was sick, and how serious it was, and read was written about zee in Vanity Fair, it turns my stomach.

About Marriage licenses..the ones who need are the ones that can’t have it and the ones that can get it, don’t give it that much importance.
listen up people. brad and jen were the “golden couple”, now it’s brangelina. a myth created by brad pitt and the tabloibs to sell magazines. he’s always in need of a trophy and she’s just plain gross. they will break up eventually because you can’t teach old dogs new tricks. so stop all this nonesense and go to bed.

ITA hun. Although I think if the laws were different here (like adoption and domestic partnerships) then the need for a marriage license would be a bit different. I must head to bed now. I look forward to talking to you tomorrow though.
Hi - haven’t read the whole thread just the occasional post. Seems some people are predicting how a movie will do. I think if it is a good story it will do really well. I loved “Saving Lives” and to this day don’t know why it is still getting negative reviews from people. Another “twist” thriller with female agent came out around the same time with Ashley Judd, that got rave reviews and I don’t know why. It didn’t hold a candle to “saving lives”. So lets see what happens at the box office with “The Good Shepherd”.
goodnight amaya. sweet dreams.. =)

Yeah, the only idiot bigger than Maniston in this whole mess, IS indeed Kristin Hahn.
Talk about a bad career move. Her name is listed in The Departed credits, but I have a feeling that will be her very last project of that kind of stature.
I’m trying to think of her contribution to the awful VF….wait - here they are:
“She wasn’t naïve,” says Kristin Hahn, an executive at the Pitts’ production company, Plan B. “She’s not suggesting she didn’t know there was an enchantment, and a friendship. But Brad was saying, ‘This is not about another woman.’”
*(hmmmm…so she’s where that “enchantment” comment came from…I have to say, I did love that…lolol…thanks Kristin! heh-heh)
…and this –
Her friends are filled with admiration for the way she’s handled the whole mess. “This woman is basically having a root canal without anesthesia, but she’s really trying not to numb the pain or shove it under the rug,” says Hahn. “She’s grown so much, and she continues to grow on a daily basis, because every time you think, ‘Well, I’ve dealt with this,’ there’s another hurdle to get over. It’s a bit Job-like at the moment.”
…and the kicker…
“My worst fear is that Jen will have to face them having a baby together soon, because that would be beyond beyond painful,” says Kristin Hahn.
These may be the most expensive quotes in history, as she literally lost a career over them. DUMB. DUMB. (((DUMB)))
But hey - she’s working for Jen’s company now isn’t she…I’m sure they can ‘produce’ more than a few lifetime movies with Aniston’s millions.
Hey Interesting Article…that IS an interesting article, lol. It seems like women with power are always hated. And mostly by other women.
“Now apparently, acting like a man is a cardinal sin amongst other women. Being strong-willed is frowned upon, and is seen as an affront to sisterhood.
Sisterhood? What sisterhood?
It seems to me that it’s ok to be a ball buster as long as you’re not female. The fact was, most of the females in our company at that time, hated my boss because she was attractive, intelligent, strong-willed, had a good job, and had other men in her power. She was just too much competition for the average woman. She should have been applauded for being all those things, yet because of those very characteristics, she was villified by other female members of staff.”
That part is totally true. There is this herd mentality I guess amongst some women, and if they see that you’re separate from the pack in any way, be that in looks or position or whatever, they just freaking hate you.

Sheri, that’s a very good article.
http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117955806.html?categoryid=13&cs=1&nid=2562
In it, I saw why X is not part of Plan B Productions even in a tiny way:
Quote: “…..because he (Brad) doesn’t want this to be a vanity label.”
—————————–
I read in an old interview where it was said that Brad had a larger vision for Plan B as in helping projects that interested him as a film lover, whereas Jen just wanted to use it to find films she could be in. lol. What a self-centered little ****.
…hey couldn’t Brad also get yet another Oscar nod for ‘God Grew Tured of Us?’
Damn, he is sooooo on fire.
Maniston was like Brad’s f*ckin’ kryptonite.
You know how superman gets all worn down, and slow moving - his legs are weighted down like fookin’ lead, and he can’t breathe….he just lies in one spot, doing nothing..hoping someone will come along and remove the kryptonite so he can regain his super powers??? LOLOL
Well, Angelina did that. She ground that kryptonite down to a fine powder…just obliterated it…and made superman take to the skies…whoooohoooo!
Cliniqua - why can’t you accept that Jen could have been really been hurt. Whether or not the marriage was already over or just going through a normal bad spot doesn’t mean she couldn’t still have some feelings for him. I am not an Aniston fan - so stop before you go off on that tangent. You of all people know that when you are hurt you lash out - and you Cliniqua, do it quite violently with words, even when you misunderstand something that is written. Just remember some of your posts in the last few days. So leave her alone and let her heal. She may not be able to put all this behind her right now because there is so much stuff coming at her in the press that would hurt any normal person who had just gone through a painful divorce. I am so tired of your diatribes on this site. When there is no conflict you bait people on other threads and here you look for the slightest little thing to spew your venum. Stick to your research you are really good and presenting interesting facts and you also have some good things to say on occasion.

Zoe, please look again on the most recent threads or even go to the archives. I swear on my honor, I am NOT Cliniqua and Cliniqua is not me. We are two totally separate and distinct people who have never met and live in separate parts of the country…it seems that you are convinced that anyone who supports Cliniqua “is” Cliniqua and that is simply not the case. Before I even started posting, Cliniqua had her own supporters.
I would like to have my own identity back again please, no offense Cliniqua but Zoe dear, you need to recognize the possibility that you could be wrong.
I got censored for writing t-u-r-d ??
LOL, Cliniqua. That Kristin Hahn was a piece of work for those quotes. Freaking hilarious. What was that quote from Jen’s publicist about the madeup cry for help phonecalls she made to Brad after Vince dumped her? “He wasn’t that big of a deal”? Can someone get that quote again? Hahahaha. So I guess all those grandiose commendations of how Jen was “handling the pain” were indeed exaggerations?
