It’s All In The Family
People’s end-of-the-year double issue features the Jolie-Pitt family–Angelina, Brad, Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh–in Cambodia. The pictures show the family very relaxed and happy and includes great shots of the kids. Be sure not to miss out on the close-up of baby Shiloh!

the problem is that men like Brad don’t come along everyday. He is a gem of a guy and those are very hard to find. Aniston’s fans realize what she lost when she lost Brad and they are having a hard time digesting that. It’s very hard to find men like Brad.
Look around in hollywood, Brad’s a needle in a haystack. When you find those type of men, you don’t let go and hold on for dear life, and unfortunately Aniston and her fans are having a hard time with the letting go part.
Most of the men in hollywood are immature boys who act like fraternity drunks or life long bachelors. They’re the love and leave em’ sort of types. And the other ones are single and want kids. It’s hard to believe Aniston want’s kids because of her actions so she’s not left with many options. And even if she finds another guy, a good one, he’ll always be compared to Brad and that’s not going to be good for that’s guy’s self esteem. Aniston is going to measure every man by holding him up to Brad and he’s not going to measure up. Forget Brad’s look, as a person, he’s as good and genuine as they come. That’s the problem. I’ll stop talking about it now.
There is more talk on this site about Aniston than their is about BAMZS. It’s a drag, it’s a bore. Give it a break.

The docu did not make the short list of films that can be conisdered for an Oscar. There is a panel of “expects” that look at all docus submitted and then narrow them down to 15. Gore and the Dixie Chicks movies made it but not God Grew Tired of US. The article I read guess that this docu was too simular to “The Lost Boys” that already won an Oscar.
The AMPAS® has a new rule that went into effect just before this year’s ceremony that says only 3 people can accept the Best Picture Oscar as producers. Because of this, Don Cheadle got shafted as he was an important producer of Crash but did not make the cut and did not get the Oscar.
While I think Brad’s got a better chance to accept than Cheadle did, it is still not a lock that he is one of the three. We have to wait for the Oscar nominations to find out.

There was so much mention on this thread of the Jennifer Aniston article in Vanity Fair that I finally decided to go read it. I found a scan on line. Well surprise, surprise - I now think differently about this situation and I am convinced that something stinks.

I think that Angie really did experience an aha moment when she started visiting orphanages and poor countries. I admire her for having turned her life around and focused on issues that truly do matter. She is a better person for it. And you see that in everything she and her family do. It isn’t fake, it couldn’t be. I think they are those people who found true meaning of life and they hold on to it with everything they’ve got.
As for Jennifer Aniston, I do believe she is a generous and gentle soul who couldn’t quite find her place in the world. She didn’t know how to count her blessings and be happy at the time. So she lost a lot, and I think she realizes that, and that’s what hurts the most. There is no way back now, all she can do is hope for a similar second chance.
Guys, we should express compliments and good thought here, not attack people.
You all know how is to love and to hurt, these people are just like us, only with more money to go around.
I think Brad and Angie are made for eachother, but I also believe that he could have easily find similar thing with Jennifer, had she only found herself first.

I’m not a big AJ fan (in fact, I think she’s an ugly freak - just my opinion) but I must say, that Shiloh girl is very bloody cute. Shiloh is a crap name though, she looks far more like a Jessica or an Emily. Very cute little girl.

It is clear for the world to see that Brad and Angie are extremely happy from looking at these pictures and I think they are a sincere bonded family. Shiloh is very pretty, I still don’t understand why Zahara never smiles, they can’t say this time it is because of dozens of photographers around for this is a family authorized photo op by Brad and Angie, so again she never smiles! I am glad to see that Maddox does appear to be protective and loving towards the baby. I have never thought Zahara was pretty in any way but I did see the picture and it is plain to see her legs are bowed when she was standing. I also read that there is medical treatment for them to be straightened out while her bones are still soft? I don’t know anything about this but was wondering if it was true? Would she have to wear a brace? Would she have to have surgery? Will she eventually grow out of it? Once a child has ricketts and their legs look like this, can it be treated medically? If so wouldn’t they have to stay in one place for physical therapy for her if that were even possible? Just wondering! But again, this is a very happy family and these are very nice pictures.

What is this obsession with smiling? If you look as the pictures of all of the JP kids, none of them are smiling except maybe Maddox when he’s shaking the ranger’s hand.
I have yet to see other celebrity kids excessively smiling as well.

I do not agree with you. I do not usually talk about Jen, but I have to reply. Even if Jen found herself, Jen/Brad would not have the same happiness as Brad/Angie. Jen and Angie are totally different kind of people and there are more click in Brad/Angie than Brad/Jen. Even if Jen had a baby with Brad and treated Brad right, they would have just a normal life – more of HW type of “family next door” life. I am not saying it is not a good life but I do not think Brad is the “guy next door” type at all. He would have always wondered what he missed and not happy.
As everyone knows I am not a huge fan of Angelina Jolie, but I have to say that she is a wonderful actress and I do like her movies. I finally saw The Breakup, for I do like Vince Vaughn, I think he is funny, it was one of the most boring movies to me, and very slow, my husband could not even watch it all the way through. I do think that Jennifer Anniston’s career is going to suffer, so far I have only enjoyed her in that movie she made with Jake when she was still with Brad, and I think it was titled, The Good Girl but can’t remember for sure.
Angelina was “messed up” in her thinking and behaviors years ago and everyone can change, for the good as well as the bad. I still think the baby looks a lot like Jon Voight but he is a handsome man too. I suspected something was wrong with Zahara’s legs for a long time and I hope they can get her some treatment for the condition. The one leg looks really bowed and it may be cute in a small child but not so much as an adult. I would like to see them have at least one more biological child and hope it is a boy. I don’t see anything wrong with them adopting ten more kids if that is what they want to do, the world has too many orphans and they can sure afford it!
I have to comment on Bill Riley shooting his mouth off, who cares what he has to say? He is a dirty old man and he has a very low character, he has no room to talk about anyone. I did however, like what he had to say about celebrities giving their money to charity and following thru when they make pledges to do so, that is how it should be, they should be accountable if they give their word!
There is no obsession with “smiling”, I have seen other celebrity kids smile “sometimes”, and Maddox also, but Zahara NEVER smiles, NEVER, and I am not the only one who has noticed it and commented on it! So don’t label me a Hater because I bring the subject up. It is obvious to more posters than me. Suri Cruise smiles a lot and there are tons of cameras in her face for close up pictures. Kate Hudson’s son is another one that doesn’t smile that much but my point is I have not seen one single picture of Zahara smiling, mostly frowning, I just don’t think that is normal.

perhaps you are right. But I wasn’t implying that they would have found the “same” happiness, I said “similar”. Sometimes “the one” comes in different shape and form, depending on where he was in his life at the time. Perhaps his life would have taken a different course with Jen, had everything else fell in its place, and he still would be happy. Sometimes different people take us to different directions, but that doesn’t mean that we would be less happy, just perhaps “different” happy.
As I said, I do howevere believe, that he is more made for Angelina and vice versa.
But it doesn’t really matter what we believe, just like what he believes doesn’t matter in our lives. I just think they are an inspiration, and it’s good to witness love and depth like that. Makes us all want to be better individuals.

How can somebody be generous and gentle when you lie, malign, and insult innocent people including kids.
Mind you, when asked about the VF article, she said that she did not regret doing it.

ITA. It seems that Brad and Angie are much similar, both are adventurous and curious. just look at Brad choose his movie role. and I can’t imagine Jen motorbiking in the desert for 3 hours, sleeping in roadside motel , eating tacos from fast food chain. Jen was so high maintenance , she wouldn’t agree on it.
