saw all angelina interviews on tv and papers - in general, seems she is out there to get support to brad pitt and his refugee family (which is also hers.) but in most cases, she seems to speak for brad and sort of be his mouth. if he has the balls, he should go out there and talk for himself. but it is nice when she talks about her different race family and they will have more to add and all that… she simply has to talk a bit less than their little home affairs though, that is a bit too much information :)

John Kasich subbed for Bill O’Reilly on The Factor tonight 12/14/06, but as usual the biggest head on cable pre-recorded several segments so viewers wouldn’t forget him over the long weekend. In one segment he deigned to psychoanalyze the behavior of celebrities who allow some pictures of their children to be published and of course, he is outraged. Outraged!

Of interest, introducing the segment Kasich said that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s beautiful baby Shiloh was splashed all over the tabloids today, and the graphic was of the NY Daily News and the NY Post (owned by Murdoch and frequently used as a reference to bolster - echo - a talking point.)

In the video, O’Reilly asserted that these babies should be out of the public eye, and that for the parents to “market” them for fame, fortune, publicity (yeah, Brangelina needs the money) is “just low, is it not?” His guest, Katrine Szish of US Weekly magazine, said of course exploitation would be wrong, but fans want to know details and celebs who allow a peek and then say now leave us alone…. O’Reilly interrupted and whined, they’re not going to leave them alone anyway! That’s a bogus argument.

He concluded that they - Cruise, Jolie, Pitt, et al - allow these pictures to “get people to like them - aaww, look at the cute little baby; they’re just like you and me.” It’s wrong, he insists, just wrong. Szish argued that it is bizarre, but Hollywood is a bizarre place. O’Reilly wants to know why society doesn’t say hey, knock it off, you people. O’Reilly said he loooathes the paprazzi - he hates them! They’re intrusive and dishonest.

This from a man who sent his producers after judges who handed down light sentences, going so far as to harrass a man into his garage. Another time his producer followed a tee-shirt maker down the streets for daring to make shirts listing the names (to date) of US soldiers killed in Iraq (Bush lied, they died) . If O’Reilly disapproves of you he has no problem sticking a camera in your face and barring that, he’ll use his national soapbox to call you names, call your morals into question (see above), and pass judgment on your decisions and positions.

If society DID say hey, knock it off O’Reilly would be out of a job. If society said “we don’t want to know the details of strangers’ lives,” which is essentially what he’s calling for, FOX would have to stop carrying stories of the Natalee Holloways, the Laci Petersens, the JonBenet Ramseys, (remember how much mileage they got out of that non-story?) the teens who talk back, the 14-year-olds who have had abortions - all of it. It’s none of our business and it’s wrong - just wrong. So yeah, knock it off.

Last year O’Reilly spent huge chunks of his show on whether or not people were saying Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays, and he called it The War on Christmas. He tried to whip up some huge public frenzy about a ridiculously trivial non-issue. Finally a NY Times columnist (I think) started taking up online donations to send O’Reilly to Darfur so that he could see some REAL problems–true story. However, O’Reilly is still on his big duff in his warm, comfy studio–as are Limbaugh and Hannity–bloviating about nothing, and trying unsuccessfully to ride the Brangelina badwagon in some form or another.

AJ is a forthright and candid woman. She answered the questions directly and did not reveal too much information. AJ knows what she has with BP. She knows how the relationship developed and she is not ashamed of it. So much media lies and distortion have been written about the couple, that it is nice to get another perspective. She is a very intelligent and aware woman. She has done great things with her humanitarian work that the tabloid media, mainstream media and distracters try to downplay. However, I greatly admire and respect her.

See that´s what I mean…..people on TV should show more of these interviews with her.
Just to see how she really is. Shy but still outspoken to a certain degree. Very nice too.

But still there is something about the way she talks about adoption that is kinda “off”……
She shouldn´t consider adopting again out of the need to have another asian or black child for Mad and Zahara.

But oh well…..that´s just my humble opinion.

NEW YORK — Christmas isn’t exactly the favorite holiday in the Jolie-Pitt household. It turns out that honor goes to Halloween because it’s the one time of year where the most stalked couple in the world has an excuse to disguise themselves.

“We were in India for Halloween,” Angelina Jolie tells the Sun Times. “Brad, the kids and I had an odd celebration in the hotel where we were staying. We had candy sent up and told the children it was from the saints. Brad and Mad [their son Maddox] were pirates. I put a big afro on Z [daughter Zahara]. I put on dreadlocks like Bob Marley. We just had the best time.”

For Jolie, there is something sweeter than candy all year round.

“I love being with Brad. I love being with my kids. There is just nothing that’s better,” she says. “This is the life I chose to have and I love every minute of it.”

And as if her life isn’t busy enough, she quickly adds, “I’d like to add many more children to this life. “They’re a lot of fun. They’re just a joy. Brad and the children bring a joy of life that exists nowhere else.”

Hi PamgelaTexas, I can’t wait to see TGS as well, but I have to wait and see it, I am going on vac next week and will be gone for 10 days, so when I come back I will be seeing it. Yeah this week is definitely going to be good, Brad’s birthday is tomorrow, then we have Angie on Larry King and also on The Charlie Rose Show tomorrow as well, plus I think there is a LA Premiere of TGS but am not sure. Lylian you are absolutely right on both points. Please post the links to the petition on this thread. Remember BAMZS Fans, in the spirit of the holiday season, lets remember those less fortunate than us. Write to your government leaders, or donate $$ to UNHCR or Global Green or your local charity. Short on cash? Volunteer time at a local food bank or homeless shelter. Remember every little bit counts.

Jennifer Aniston Switches to Plan B With Brad Pitt

Jennifer Aniston is still in business with Brad Pitt, post-divorce. Their Plan B movie production company, she told me on Sunday night, is full steam ahead.

She told me this at restaurant Compass, over a din and a cacophony, which means it was pretty loud and crowded for the premiere of her new thriller, “Derailed.”

Every single person was focused on her.

What’s it like to live in a fishbowl? Aniston knows, but she’s not saying exactly. Aniston has succeeded Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez as the pile-on celebrity. Her mere presence inspires instant crowds of well-wishers, agents, the curious, paparazzi, you name it.

Every time she wanted to leave her corner of Compass and move — to the bathroom, to have a cigarette outside — it meant a parade of security people, and others before and after her would have cut through the dense wall of partygoers before her.

Her fame now is like a magnetic field having nothing to do with who she is or what she’s doing.

What I like about her is that she’s inordinately gracious and polite. It seems real, too. When guests reached out to her with six degree of separation salutations — “My stylist is your cousin’s neighbor” — Aniston stopped and spoke to each person. That’s hard to do.

The whole time we spoke, she held my hand. I mean, clutched it. I reminded her we’d spoken last at the premiere of Pitt’s movie “Troy” on May 10, 2004.

“It’s all a blur to me now,” she said. I didn’t tell her that two days later, on May 12, a production team member from the movie “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” told me how Pitt had become Angelina Jolie’s advocate and protector on the set, usurping even director Doug Liman.

Aniston probably knew then that there was trouble in her marriage, but had done “the right thing” by helping to launch “Troy” without scandal (too bad it didn’t work, but that’s another story).

Anyway, Aniston is gracious enough to remind me that Clive Owen, not she, is the “star” of “Derailed.”

“I am not the star of it,” she said, although once you’ve seen it you may disagree. It’s a real change of pace for her, especially since the movie has a “secret twist.”

We’re not allowed to give it away. Suffice to say, it’s worth the hour-and-a-half wait.

So what’s she doing? “I don’t know yet. I still have Plan B, our production company. It’s still the same people — me, Brad [Pitt] and Brad [Grey]. Nothing’s changed. Everyone’s getting along.” What? Hello? OK.

Plan B has several movies in development for Warner Bros. including a couple of dramas which, if they come to fruition, could be important for Aniston’s career (new projects will go to Paramount, where Grey is now in charge).

There are lots of ideas on the board, too: for Aniston to possibly portray Marianne Pearl, widow of murdered Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, for example. She might also play writer Jeannette Walls in an adaptation of her memoir about being the daughter of a homeless woman.

And she’s got a comedy, “The Break Up,” with maybe-maybe not boyfriend Vince Vaughn coming in February. My guess is the Vaughn thing is for publicity, but hey — I’m a cynic at this point about such deals.

Will Aniston ever do a cameo or guest shot on “Joey,” the “Friends” spin-off?

“I would do anything for Matt LeBlanc, but they haven’t asked me,” she said. “Maybe they’re waiting until the third or fourth season when the show is established.” Maybe.

And her father, John Aniston, she notes, remains a mainstay of “Days of Our Lives,” the NBC soap, after many attempts to kill him off.

“You never actually die on a soap,” she said, laughing. “I think it’s in the contract.”

So it’s on to the next one — that being co-starring with Kevin Costner in the not-yet-screened “Graduate” spin-off movie, “Rumor Has It” (well, it has been seen, but no one’s saying boo yet).

Thanks for the feedback. I tend to get myself in hot water when I venture outside a BAMZS thread. Oh well, that is what life is all about. That is why I admire AJ. She speaks her mind and is not afraid to back down. She does it in a way that is respectful to all cultures and opinions. People may not always agree with her, but her honesty and integrity come forth. BP is the same way. I know that people have twist and turn this triangle saga many ways, however, BP and AJ keep living their lives and raising their children. You have to respect them for that.
And while I am on a soapbox, that National Enquirer needs to be shot and put out of its misery. Man, they cannot even get locations and timeframe straight.

Some info about Plan B

Brad Pitt is a rare entity in today’s celebrity-obsessed culture: He’s the subject of endless fascination and yet has managed to maintain an air of mystery.
Take his production company, Plan B. Much of the publicity surrounding it has had to do with Pitt’s split with Jennifer Aniston, former principal Brad Grey’s divestment when he moved to Paramount at chair-CEO and the company’s shift from Warner Bros. to the Paramount lot.

Amid that upheaval, Pitt has emerged as the sole owner of Plan B (thanks to a recent settlement with Aniston), which was launched in 2002. I got my copy of Vogue from Hudson News (group) Services at Union Station in Washington DC…….they had plenty of them on Friday. Hudson News Group operates in most train stations and airports. If you ever want to get magazines, the train stations and airports are the best places as they stock up for the amount of folks that pass through during their travels…….I also got my People Magazine on Thursday from a International newstand in DC….was looking for a copy of Hello but only saw the previous issue….

Where does it say he told her that? As Angleina Jolie spoke about it in the Vogue/elsewhere, it seemed more an observation she made based maybe on how Brad did speak about his marriage “in general terms.” I can’t imagine Brad discussing his private life in intimate detail, and especially with someone he just met (or not for that matter).

I’m not sure what it is you’re not understanding about it. Seriously, the man loved his wife regardless of it “changing shape,” or not being quite the way it once was. No matter the troubles they were experiencing, I have no doubt he loved JA, and that apparently came through and was picked up on by AJ.

About them living together (or not), if again the timeframe is the start of MAMS, then I think they were co-habitating. JMHO

I was watching Clooney’s Cinematheque Award show earlier today and was thinking:

1. I love Matt Damon more and more each day (he couldn’t be there in person–he was in Africa–so he taped a “George, you’re great!” thing but in it he did this thing where he was shown giving people their money back who had just seen Batman & Robin–it was funny.)
2. How come Brad didn’t tape something? I know he was in India but if he was in L.A., surely he would have went. I thought it was odd. He showed up in a segment where they ran through the co-stars that George has “chemistry” with. They showed clips of O11 & 12.
3. If Brad wins the BSA Oscar this year, I can’t see how he doesn’t get this award next year because he has more noteworthy films then Clooney. And if he does win BSA and they do give him the Cinematheque Award, how fabulous would it be to see Angelina up there talking about him as an Actor/Partner/Father in front of Hollywood’s Elite?

Mostly used the quotes from her interview with Vogue and very likely they were taken out of content or they have added their own to their commentary. I like Janice Min because she called Jen and Stephen out. Same goes for Perez. If he had a magazine I would support him just because he called her and other celebrities out.

US Weekly says the same tabloid stuff. Jen is calling Brad even though their respective PR persons say its not so. But who really believes Huvane anymore? But a mutual friend of the couple said that Angie has encouraged Brad to see Jen and he visted her. Personally, I don’t know how that is possible as they just got back to the states and have been in LA since Wednesday. Since August, they have traveled half way around the world. He is only away from his little family for 3 days max so that just seems impossible to me.

So on Sat morning actually went to a magazine distributor in the next town from me to see if I could pick up the two magazines. At least I figure they of all people would have it! I was told by them that the Hello will only be released tomorrow (Mon 12/18) and the Vogue will be released on Thursday 12/21. Hopefully this info helps, if for some reason you do find it in Boston, please let me know, as I have a son who is at college in the Boston area so he can pick it up for me. I got my Vogue this morning at Barnes and Noble, which I totally didn’t expect. Someone mentioned the Vogue article years ago when she was working on MAMS; she mentioned that she only knew Brad based on what the press reported. This new interview also reference that old interview. Brad didn’t spill $h*t to Angelina, but it’s entirely possible that Angelina picked up on something, hell, some of us picked up on it when he was on Oprah and Primetime Live.

So on Sat morning actually went to a magazine distributor in the next town from me to see if I could pick up the two magazines. At least I figure they of all people would have it! I just called Borders at Downtown Crossing and they have it. Wahoo! However, the woman I talked to thinks there’s only one copy left (maybe it was just missplaced on the rack) and she’s holding it for me. I’m heading out to get it now and I’ll also stop at the Barnes and Noble to see if they have it. I’ll pick up an extra copy and hold it for your son. I work near BU and Harvard Medical School and live near Harvard College. If your son picks one up on his own, don’t worry I don’t mind have 2 copies for myself. LOL

I am really looking forward to seeing Angie on the big screen again. I am going to see it on Friday for sure. She is really a great actress and this latest character is so unlike her in real life and others she has played in the past. I have not ventured into spoilers and screencaps for TGS as I want to be surprised.

My favorite is still: Life…or something like it, Bone Collector and M&MS even though everyone else will say Gia and Girl, Interrupted. BTW: I do need to buy Girl, interrupted.

On a side note, that font of accurate B/A Africa wedding stories, otherwise known as the OK! mag, reports in this week’s issue that X and Kristin Hahn, one of her Goddess Group who was fired by Brad at Plan B for spying on him and reporting back to X in the summer of 2005, have formed a production company. OK! says they have 3 projects on the slate for next year, one of which is the movie “Peace Like A River”…starring Billy Bob Thornton. This, as some folks here may know, is a movie that was at Plan B that Brad was developing with BBT as the star.

Not long ago BBT gave an interview where he mentions still being friends with Angie and that he and Brad got along as well and that he was going to be making a movie with Brad. Well, apparently if he stays with the project he’ll be making a movie with X now. The other day someone posted a story about Plan B that was in the Variety this week and I wondered why they didn’t list the BBT movie as one of the projects for 2007, so maybe the OK! actually has accurate info for a change.

JM doesn’t even stick to X that much either. On the whole to me it looks like she’s backpeddling off her “JA is a liar, a fraud, and a famewhroing media maniplator” stance of the last 2 months and cutting X some slack after getting royally dumped again.

Are you insane? None of those men are right for Angie. Love Ralph Fiennes, but these guys are ALL a big step down from Brad Pitt…not as big a step down as Vince Vaughn, though. Oh yeah…you can take Edward Norton off the list…he’s friends with Brad and wouldn’t go after his ex.

Bluemoon - my thoughts exactly. But, Brad did say in Variety that they frequently start projects and then hand them off to other production companies. All I can think of is that maybe that’s the case with this movie. I went to the IMDB - which ain’t always totally accurate - and they list the movie as being in pre-production for 2007 and have BBT as the only actor committed to the project. They also list Kristin Hahn as exec prod and Brad among the producers, along with 3 others.

The OK! article said that the X/Hahn company had no name right now and that it was fairly new. So if Brad only recently became the sole owner of Plan B…then maybe he did have to give X some more projects to get her monkey ass off his back. Personally I think it would be absolutely hilarious if X was still somehow involved with Plan B when she found out that Angie was going to play Marianne Pearl. As a matter of fact the thought has me maniacally ROTFLMAOPIMP! Oh to have been a fly on the wall the day X got that piece of news…

I did read an interview where Jen said she left Plan B because it grew too big for her. She said it was a great thing(paraphrasing) but that she preferred something smaller.

About Peace Like a River, when it was first optioned, Kristin Hahn was a listed producer. She was taken off of the producer credits awhile ago, when she got the boot from Plan B.

The pics that Aniston took with her, were Wanted, The Dickey Chappell project and Diary. All three are in turnaround/scripting hell.

I had to laugh at the part in us weekly where they say Jennifer Aniston is Jealous of Brad because he has EVERYTHING she ever wanted in life. I was thinking shouldn’t she be jealous of Ange for having everything… or Did Jennifer want Angelina too? it confused me a bit.

Thanks lurkerofold. I found it at Borders, where everyone was telling me to go in the first place LOL. By the way, the stores are packed. Duh, I know but I’ve done most of my holiday shopping online so I’ve been lucky to miss the madness. Once I got my copy from the “On Hold” desk, I had to stand in a line that wrapped around half of the lower first floor. Of course while waiting in line I couldn’t help but pick up a few things. Lets just say by the time I reached the front of the line my $4 magazine purchase turned into…well…let me put it this way. My credit card is still smoking from my final purchase. I agree with this part. I think Brad should have been more of a man and did more to defend Angie the mother of his children to the public. It seems like all he cared about was his own image through this whole thing. He was probably thinking “Angie took all the heat. thank you angie. my career is saved while everyone thinks you’re the devil and jennifer is pathetic. ” I guess for some reason Angie is okay with him not saying anything. I dont have a deep knowledge about Angelina jolie’s past interviews and publications in magazines. But all i can say, after watching DS interview is that she is so candid and honest in whatever she’s trying to say. I dont care if she had a wild past and all that cr*p. She talks like a very mature woman in that interview and believe that she’s grown with her age. A lot of people at her age would still be immature adolecents, like the haters who post on this thread. Firstly, he told her he loved his ex because he didn’t want to lie. Secondly, it is possible and common for ex-spouses to continue to love one another and still be best friends…sometimes two people are better apart than together. Concluding from simple observations usually is never as “cut and dry” as we interpret them. The course of human interactions is more complicated and we really don’t know the details of Pitt or Aniston’s relationship…so in the case you are referring to one doesn’t necessarily equal two.

I think some of the things Psychoeg is saying might be true

You know what, we might think that alot of people don’t regard Angie highly, maybe because of her past or because of this Brad thing, or because of the haters on the internet and the media. The thing is, this is a woman who meets with Presidents and ministers and goes to Congress to lobby causes she has a passion for, and is not afraid to go to war-torn countries. She will not let any negativity you write or think about her stop her from doing what she wants to do. If she wasn’t happy with Brad, do you seriously think she would stay with him? The last paragraph of the Vogue article where she goes to meet him and they are hugging each other tightly, isn’t that the time when the magazines were reporting that there was trouble between them this summer and she was leaving him? One thing people don’t get is that this is a woman who will not stay if she is not in love with a guy, she will walk away. Maddox, Zahara, and little Shiloh are all Brad’s children and it will not affect their status in Brad’s life if they break up. Angie is with Brad because she loves him and wants to be with him, the same goes for Brad. There are alot of people that are not happy about that and make up all sorts of lies about it. Yes, it is a fact that alot of the doubters don’t want to face. Before Angie talked about Brad, it was “She always talked about her boyfriends/husbands, why isn’t she talking about Brad? It’s because they don’t love each other, that’s why.” But now that she finally does talk about him, its another thing altogether. Some poster on here said it best, the haters will always hate no matter what, and the doubters will always doubt no matter what. There will never be a win-win situation for Angie and Brad.

Cliniqua, what an excellent post. I think that’s exactly how things are/were.The Plan B/X angle has not been speculated on almost at all, because there are no tabloid articles or quotes about the subject.

But if we put together what we do know for a fact about Brad, how he sees Plan B, what drives him to choose the films he chooses to produce, we see that he wants a company that will bring what’s mostly missing in Hollywood-quality, beautiful, meaningful movies to the public.

There is no doubt that Brad-among many others, knows very well the limited acting ability of X. Even her rigid face does not offer itself to changes of hair and make up, and does not express a wide range of emotions.

So I’m wondering-how much pressure did X put on Brad to get her movie roles via Plan B, and how much trouble was inflicted in their marriage because she wasn’t given any? Especially around the ending of “Friends”?

It would seem improbable that there weren’t any conversations like “Hey Brad, Friends is ending; what Plan B movie will I be in?” only to hear “Ummm….ug…well….I’m looking…..”

She had her foot in Plan B, her husband was a top honcho there, so it would make no sense if she did not make demands, which obviously were not fullfilled by Brad, which obviously must have brought severe strain between them, given her known ambition to be a big movie star.

On another note, I think there’s no chance in the world that X and Brad speak, or are on any degree of friendly terms. Brad’s company quietly booted her out, which means they did not want anything to do with her, and that must have made her furious (loosing roles and face).

You know, Maniston (and her friend Hahn) are similar to some women I know in that they are not only oblivious to the details, and want everything taken care of for them. They are not well-read people period. So finding those ‘good stories,’ like Brad was talking about is not high on their list of things to do. This is a woman who lamented the fact that she didn’t read (I’ve read she has some kind of learning difficulties too), and that she is not up on current events, news, politics etc. Hahn proved her idiocy in tha she THOUGHT she could talk about the major owner at Plan B’s personal private life, and insult his new love and family and yet REMAIN in employ. THAT is hysterical. As was stated, they were in Plan B, solely for one reason, to get Aniston film work. When Brad and she split there was no rationale whatsoever for that to continue, and every rationale for her to seek out and do her own thing.

Brad was and is just too much of a gentleman to come out and say, ‘Look we set her up with a spokesperson at the company who could perhaps find roles for her sad tv-sitcom hack ass, other than that - she had no input and contributed nada to the company.’ Hahn was her lookout and that was all.

When Brad talks about Plan B NOT being a “VANITY LABEL or VEHICLE” he means that sh*t….I get the feeling Brad would be perfectly happy not acting but for once a year, and being a full-time producer - he doesn’t care whose name is on the Marquis, he just wants good projects made.

That ‘vanity label or vehicle’ remark, also is a subtle warning to Aniston, that if she and Huvane keep causing problems, he’ll spill all the beans himself and tell the WORLD that’s EXACTLY why she was involved from GET, so that the TV star could become a ‘movie star.’

Don’t you think Angie knows what is best for herself? You say she deserves the best, I think she has the best right now, loving father of her three children (a man who tries to put on diapers on two girls at the same time), a man who would let her sleep late because she has her interview, a man whom she loves (as per her own mouth, during the 20/20 interview) … being a tabloid star comes with the territory, I think she pretty much has accepted it. But she loves the man and she looks happy, and more importantly to her, her children are happy with Brad.

Well, I also think she deserves the best and believe that she does have the best guy who does treat her with respect and kindness. She said BRAD IS THE CLOSEST PERSON TO HER. She started off by saying that she trusts Brad then backpedalled.
If she doesn’t completely trust her mother who through the years has been the closest person to her, how do you expect her to trust Brad 100%? I do think though that all the experiences they will have together in life will make her be at a place that she will be able to completely trust him. I also believe that Brad completely loves her and she wouldn’t be with him if he didn’t.
From her Vogue interview, she knew what she was getting into in this relationship and the media onslaught that would ensue. She is a tabloid star because Brad/Angie stories whether true or not sell millions off the newsstands every week. She has not always explained herself, the Vogue interview is the first interview she’s given where she explains things. All the interviews this past week were because of the movie promotion she’s doing. I think you underestimate Angie about where her priorities lie and on her feelings about Brad.

She won’t have to explain herself anymore. Remember for two years she hasn’t done any interviews. The media wants to know, and she is telling them what she wants to tell them. She isn’t saying anything,except what she wants them to know. It seems to me she is telling everyone that their relationship isn’t about sex. It is about family, helping others, and working to keep their relationship viable and alive. There is no need to hide or pretend anylonger. I think she is very strong, and smart.

It’s funny that all of these AJ fans are coming out of the woodwork saying that Brad should have defended Angelina. Oh, really? Because I suspect that if Brad gave as many interviews as Chinnochio did and in each interview, he interjected that Angelina was completely innocent of what the press and haters accused her of, then these AJ fans would say that he should’ve kept his mouth shut. And the haters would say that he protested too much.

Only morons would believe that the children’s image of their mother will be shaped by what the media reported. Those children are probably the sole witness to how these two are with each other. It’s galling that anyone would introduce this b^ll$hit logic to the debate.

The only instance in which society gives women more power than men, is when we’re talking about sex and relationships. In this case, even though Brad has said his piece, and very strongly - some elements in the society are completely ignoring what he has said, and they’d do the same thing when and if he speaks out again tomorrow. Brad (men) don’t matter in these kinds of situations. This stuff is like The Superbowl for women.

Even though Brad has stated firmly that Angelina had nothing to do with the collapse of his marriage - as has Maniston if you recall (though passive aggressively — confirming to Bennetts that she and Brad had both meant what they said in the release of their statement - there was no third party involvement as the tabloid press was speculating…when Bennetts raised her brows at her, the article said, Maniston backed off slightly and added - ‘as far as I knew.’ Which of course lets her have her cake and eat it too) — no one really is paying any attentiona at all to what Brad says.

Namely, because in the world of the tabloid press, entertainment shows, and gossip all of this stuff is driven by women, reading voraciously about it…and they don’t care about what Brad says or thinks.

Brad could come out tomorrow and reiterate what he already said, and say it even louder, this time adding that he and Maniston were hitting the skids even much earlier than 2003-2004. They would STILL ignore him, because women only care about other women in these matters and how they are perceived.

It’s like that old cliche, ‘Women actually dress for other women.’ Well, in this case, women compose and interpret magazine articles and interviews for other women.

So even IF Brad says it again….the women will still blame Angelina, and create their soap opera. They’ll talk about ‘emotional affairs,’ and using their tight friendship as the ‘emotional cheating’ evidence.

I’ll go you one further and say, even IF Brad and Angelina had never gotten together, and Brad and Maniston had still divorced (and they would have) - let’s say Brad was single now….and Angie was single, and off doing her thing acting, philanthropy and raising her kids….the STORY would still be that Brad and Man’s marriage was not helped by his tight friendship with Angelina…and that she unknowingly or otherwise, had helped significantly with the breakup.

Or, let’s say if Brad and Angelina had waited two years, and had only NOW started dating, the tabloid press would STILL say, AHA! ‘We told you he was enamoured - so it seems she DID break up their marriage after all.’

There’s just no scenario in SOME B*TCHY JEALOUS OBSESSED WOMEN will absolve Angelina.

Brad however, is seen by these females…as the male who is helpless to Angelina’s allure and therefore, though these judgemental b*tches disdain him - they kind of give him a pass…just for being as the phrase goes, ‘young, dumb and full of ***.’ It’s the ‘boys will be boys’ concept - with the added, but ‘girls should know better,’ caveat - which is why in the grand scheme of things, these types will always slam Angie. As many have said, she can’t win.

Nahhh…I think it’s X posting here on a lonely Sunday afternoon in S. California….she has a lot of things to be steamed about, and nowhere to let steam off -no job, no man, no family, no face, no talent, she’s here alright….with many names, all the same low education level…..

On the interview, Angie looks nice, but I think the questions that Diane Sawyer put on her were rather probing. She handled it well, though.
I liked Brad and Jen better as a couple, but I love the Jolie-Pitt family as a whole, so there isn’t hatred in me for these people. It seems as if Brad has finally achieved what he wanted (three beautiful children and a happy family), but Jen seems to be still a bit insecure with herself. I really hope that she finds a good man again (she and Vince didn’t really cut out for me anyway; he’s so greasy looking while she looks to be more high-maintenance), and a nice career. I read her VF interview, and to me it didn’t seem like she was lashing out at Brad and Angelina or the kids. The Billy Idol comment seemed to be in good humor, and it’s predictable that she would get emotional from the Shiloh news. While I don’t hate either of them, the FANS are what tick me off. I’ve seen some really insensitive Aniston fans as well as some psycho BAMZS fans. And the “Maniston” thing always annoyed me. While she may not be the most stunning female on Earth (and neither is Angie IMO), she certainly doesn’t look like a man to me. Also, ripping on Jen’s chin never caught on to me either. She has an enormous chin, Angelina has man hands, what gives? I don’t rip on people for physical attributes because that’s DNA, something that nobody can control. Anyway, what’s the past is the past, and as of now, I doubt either party is worrying about the other. Only the fans and the tabloid are dragging this thing out.
BTW, does anyone know if Maddox is enrolled in a school or privately tutored? A few months ago, we saw Angie walking Mad to school, but now he seems to be globe-trotting with his parents.

I’ve been lurking mode …..but please don’t call the journalist who interviewed Brad in India the “Oprah of India”.

Her name is Barkha Dutt and she is a great reporter. Oprah can’t even compare even if she tried. Ms. Dutt has gone to the frontlines of wars and reported from very dangerous places. She’s well respected but she’s a better journalist than Oprah could ever be.
