Aniston’s Star Shines With and Without Pitt

So what’s she doing? “I don’t know yet. I still have Plan B, our production company. It’s still the same people — me, Brad [Pitt] and Brad [Grey]. Nothing’s changed. Everyone’s getting along.”

November 2005? A year later and Brad has called Plan B “the child of a bitter divorce”. Hmmm…methinks X was fudging…okay…LYING…but it was her butt-monkey Roger Frieman of the Alledger, so it’s all good.
On a side note, that font of accurate B/A Africa wedding stories, otherwise known as the OK! mag, reports in this week’s issue that X and Kristin Hahn, one of her Goddess Group who was fired by Brad at Plan B for spying on him and reporting back to X in the summer of 2005, have formed a production company. OK! says they have 3 projects on the slate for next year, one of which is the movie “Peace Like A River”…starring Billy Bob Thornton. This, as some folks here may know, is a movie that was at Plan B that Brad was developing with BBT as the star.
Not long ago BBT gave an interview where he mentions still being friends with Angie and that he and Brad got along as well and that he was going to be making a movie with Brad. Well, apparently if he stays with the project he’ll be making a movie with X now. The other day someone posted a story about Plan B that was in the Variety this week and I wondered why they didn’t list the BBT movie as one of the projects for 2007, so maybe the OK! actually has accurate info for a change.
Assuming X really did get this project from Plan B, my guess is that BBT will drop out of the movie. Why? Two reasons - 1) Because X has said that she MAY play a role in the movie herself, but she’s not sure yet. 2) He won’t have a choice when the financiers drop out because X has put herself in the movie!
So here’s my take on what happened - we all know X hasn’t been able to get any work in HW since she wrapped up TBU in fall of 2005 and then spent the fall and winter bad-mouthing Brad and having her movies flop at the box office. The chick is box-office poison and nobody is willing to take a risk on giving her a major role in a movie. So X being X and the conniving, manipulative, famewhroing wench that she is, she decides to make waves over the Plan B projects she got in the divorce settlement. She only got a handful, and “Peace Like A River” wasn’t one of them. I never thought I’d feel sorry for X, but come on, didn’t Angie say Brad had a “wicked sense of humor”? What better way to get X off his back than to give her a project starring Angie’s ex-hubby…who calls Angie “a great girl” and is still on good terms with her? I’d absolutely love it if BBT took the role, X puts herself in the movie…and then BBT spends the whole shoot pontificating on how great Angie is. Poor little X and her insecure ass will have nervous breakdown and then we’ll get a break from her trying to be a serious “actress”.
You know, they almost always give themselves away. Perhaps we should just file that with the “I miss the Old Angie’ or “Who is the perfect wife for Brad’ files. LOL….they are idiots…

I am really looking forward to seeing Angie on the big screen again. I am going to see it on Friday for sure. She is really a great actress and this latest character is so unlike her in real life and others she has played in the past. I have not ventured into spoilers and screencaps for TGS as I want to be surprised.
My favorite is still: Life…or something like it, Bone Collector and M&MS even though everyone else will say Gia and Girl, Interrupted. BTW: I do need to buy Girl, interrupted.

LOL! Hey…they’re a little bit better than L&S. This week L&S said that Brad and Angie went to Springfield on DECEMBER 9 to visit his family! I read that and just fell over laughing. The previous week OuttaTouch and Star said they did it on Dec 3 BEFORE going to NYC. On Dec 9 there were photos of B&A in NYC.

I know she has a proyect with Universal about that Harvard professor, but I tought “Peace like a River” was a Plan B proyect, this sounds weird, I read somewhere that this movie was alredy in pre-production searching for locations, how can Plan B in the middle of pre production let go of the proyect and give it to Aniston and Kristin Hahn?

NEW YORK, Dec 17, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) — U.S. actress Angelina Jolie says she didn’t mind playing a woman who ages 20 years in Robert De Niro’s new CIA drama, “The Good Shepherd.”
“My mom is aging gracefully and if I’m anything like my mother … She’s lovely,” the 31-year-old actress said in New York.
“I love age on a face,” she added. “I love to age in movies. I love to see my face old in different ways. There’s something very comforting about feeling yourself as an older woman. When you get to that point, you would have earned so many different things and be rooted in so many ways.”
Jolie wore yellow-tinged contact lenses and had stained teeth to convey how not only time, but circumstances affected Clover, the neglected, hard-drinking wife of a CIA agent.
“Hopefully, I will not break apart as she did,” Jolie said. “I had the alcohol age (in the movie,) and if you look closely at her, there were some broken capillaries and a lot of yellow. Hopefully, I won’t have to look in a mirror and look like this. This is what I will look like if I start drinking.”

Actually…if you read the Star mag disclaimer it says that ANGIE SPOKE TO A FREELANCE REPORTER NOT DIRECTLY TO A STAR MAGAZINE REPORTER I’ve got a scan of the article and it says, “She confessed all to a freelance journalist while promoting her new CIA drama ‘The Good Shepherd’, in NYC on Dec. 8.”

I have never heard “reliable” reports that she fought to keep PLAN B. Not once in the last year has there ever been anything but suposition and assumption.

I read the US in the store and I didn’t find the B/A story very flattering at all. The US mag basically says that Angie’s Vogue interview confirms that she wrecked Brad’s marriage and that he was happy in it until she came along. That’s my take on the article, but wait for Sammie to post it on her site and read it for yourself and see what you think.
JM doesn’t even stick to X that much either. On the whole to me it looks like she’s backpeddling off her “JA is a liar, a fraud, and a famewhroing media maniplator” stance of the last 2 months and cutting X some slack after getting royally dumped again.
I did read an interview where Jen said she left Plan B because it grew too big for her. She said it was a great thing(paraphrasing) but that she preferred something smaller.

Are you insane? None of those men are right for Angie. Love Ralph Fiennes, but these guys are ALL a big step down from Brad Pitt…not as big a step down as Vince Vaughn, though. Oh yeah…you can take Edward Norton off the list…he’s friends with Brad and wouldn’t go after his ex.
You know the character Lanie in Life or Something like it, got drunk. It was so funny, she was singing and everything. I like fun drunks. Something tells me that Clover/Margaret is not a fun drunk.
You know if the goddess circle had any got damn since, they would make Angie their friend. She really should be their role model..j/k
But seriously, even though she is the youngest of the bunch, she has her head on right and has the best attitude about aging gracefully. She looks forward to it and not try to escape it as Courtney Cox (I hate that name by the way). And she looks to her mom as an example.

I agree, I read it and got the same interpretation. She is trying to sell magazines after all. And really, it pays to not P*ss off Jen’s fans too much since they are most likely the main readers of tabs and magazines like US Weekly.

While you’re proving things…could you prove that Brad was happy and thrilled to be with X? Just cuz they were “living together” doesn’t mean they were sleeping in the same bed or sleeping in the same bed and having s-e-x like a regular married couple or doing anything else “together”.

Bluemoon - my thoughts exactly. But, Brad did say in Variety that they frequently start projects and then hand them off to other production companies. All I can think of is that maybe that’s the case with this movie. I went to the IMDB - which ain’t always totally accurate - and they list the movie as being in pre-production for 2007 and have BBT as the only actor committed to the project. They also list Kristin Hahn as exec prod and Brad among the producers, along with 3 others.
The OK! article said that the X/Hahn company had no name right now and that it was fairly new. So if Brad only recently became the sole owner of Plan B…then maybe he did have to give X some more projects to get her monkey ass off his back. Personally I think it would be absolutely hilarious if X was still somehow involved with Plan B when she found out that Angie was going to play Marianne Pearl. As a matter of fact the thought has me maniacally ROTFLMAOPIMP! Oh to have been a fly on the wall the day X got that piece of news…

Yeah, I read that, too, and do you know why she said that? Because they weren’t planning on putting her in every movie they made! LOL! She also said it before she realized that nobody in HW was willing to finance a movie with her as the star. After that little reality set in, then I’m sure she was all over Plan B like a bad case of poison ivy.
I keep thinking of that last sentence of the Vogue interview where it says she had both arms wrapped about his waist. There is a photo of her doing this in the carnival scene in MAMS but I can’t locate it. Am I remembering wrong?
