Good Morning All
I hope no one is hungover from the party last night. I posted the LK Transcript because of something I found floating on the net…something AJ supposedly said in regards to Madonna’s Adoption. I HATE THE BRITISH TABLOID. It’s not even been 24hrs after the interview and they are already spinning things. Why do they feel they feel the need to make things up? People read the rubbish they put out and believe it…honestly, this ought show that not everything you read is true. Here’s the article

Madonna knew risks of adoption, says Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie insists Madonna knew she would run into trouble by adopting a baby from Malawi - because of the country’s uncertain adoption laws.

The Good Shepherd actress - who has given homes to two underprivileged children, five-year-old Maddox and Zahara, 23 months - says Madonna was open to criticism and problems because Malawi has no set guidelines for such cases.

She is quoted by New magazine: “Madonna knows very well that she adopted from a country without legal adoption, so it was an unusual situation.”

Angelina - who also has a seven-month-old biological daughter Shiloh Nouvel with her partner Brad Pitt - insists she will not make the same mistake as Madonna next time she welcomes an unwanted child into her home.

She said: “I don’t anticipate that being a problem for me because I don’t intend to adopt a child from a country where there is no legal adoption.”

“Given homes to two underpriviledge children?” Are they serious? No wonder people are blasé about adoption…how can they not be when the media writes things like that. THEY ARE ARE CHILDREN!!! She LOVES them, She CARES for them, she NURTURES them…not give them a home. GOD! I hate the press. I need to start ignoring them like AJ does.

KING: Do you think, Matt, that I — meaning I or we, the collective we, have the right to your private life, once you choose a public life?

DAMON: Well, it’s complicated. I think, yes, I think — I think children being involved is different. I don’t understand why they don’t blur out the faces of kids in these — in these publications, as I think they do in other countries. It’s not a decision that they made. And so I think there’s certain lines that are crossed.

I don’t know. I mean, personally, I don’t — I don’t get it as bad as some. So particularly, I mean Angie and Brad…

KING: She gets it the worst.

DAMON: The worst of anybody in the country right now. And, you know, I’ve been around the world with Brad on the “Ocean’s” movies and, I mean, you know, even George Clooney, who’s a pretty famous guy, I mean, he marvels at what — what it’s like for Brad. And so when Brad and Angie are together, it’s just — you know, it’s an absolute — it’s just a very — it’s a different thing than I would ever have to deal with. So…

KING: Brad’s a friend of yours, though, right?

DAMON: Sure, yes. I mean, we’ve worked together three times now. And he — what’s interesting to me about it is that he does nothing at all to encourage it, nothing at all to encourage it. And neither does Angie.

KING: He’s a good guy, right? He’s just a regular good guy?

DAMON: He really is. I mean, he’s just a terrific guy, just a very normal, regular person, as is Angie. And, I mean, I admire the fact that they — they’ve taken this incredibly bright — this bright spotlight that’s on them and tried to turn it onto other issues that are of importance and are a better use of those resources that are being spent trying to figure out what goes on behind, you know, closed doors between — between them. They’ve tried to shine that spotlight on areas around the world that they think are issues that are more relevant or important or a better use of that — those resources.

KING: Angelina, do you get involved in each other’s work? Like, do you rush to see his film? Will he…

JOLIE: Brad?

What a waste of time. Why the marriage question? Everybody has asked that. Why not ask if the percentage of kids dying in dafur has increased or decreased. Why not ask how can each individual in the US help? For Ex. my husband has more physics and math books than the library does. They are in the attic. I would love to give them away (without telling him of course). I am constantly giving clothes and toys to the Goodwill-Even If I knew someone in the US that could use them, I would give them to them. I am not interested in Madonna’s adoption procedures, Brad’s reputation with the tabs or if Angie reads tabs. I think Ann Curry is the only one who does a decent job-Oh yeah who was Bab Walters Person of the year?

Jolie is as fake as they come. What a *****.

thanks AG for putting up the transcript. no way i was going to watch that billy goat gruff last night. not even for angie, matt & bobby in the same room. nope. not me. i watched the colts kick some bengal ass instead. it was a lovely evening!

3 pages of the transcript and i want to kill larry king. they would have done a whole lot better without him in the room. he’s a complete ass!

I think everyone should email CNN and tell them that Charlie Rose is an example of how a interview is conducted, and Larry King is an example of how to waste one’s time in the belief they’re going to get a Charlie Rose caliber interview.

i got nothing against cincinnatti or the bengals (except for the fact that half your team is out on parole). i had a big ol’ crush on boomer esaison back in the day…it’s just that i love the colts. well, tony dungy really, with a side order of a strange crush on peyton. so it was nice to see them win again after a couple of really crappy losses.

still wading through the transcript. larry king asks stupid questions and then doesn’t wait for the answers. somebody needs to put lawrence ziegler in his place!
