Star to Stars: We Hate You, Too
If you’re Star magazine, and every celebrity in Hollywood already hates you, why not insult them all with one glorious extension of the middle finger? Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston, and Nicole Richie all made it onto Star’s 50 Most Annoying People of 2006 list, to be published in the upcoming issue.
Spears comes in at No. 1, thanks to her “dubious child-care techniques” and new friendship with Paris Hilton. (Her recent blitz of pantyless public crotch blasts also earns her a mention as Most Annoying Cry for Attention.)
Tom Cruise, suprisingly, languishes at No. 5 in the new ranking. “The best thing you can say about Tom Cruise this year? He wasn’t quite as annoying as the couch-jumper of ‘05!” explains Star.

But it’s Aniston who really seems to have gotten on Bonnie Fuller’s nerves. “Sorry, Jen. The public support from your emotional trauma is all used up,” reads the caption. “So forgive us for not shedding a tear when you continually looked so glum in public.” Even worse, neither Aniston’s ex, Brad Pitt, nor Angelina Jolie, his new mate, is on the list. Take that, sad Jen!

The tabloids like controversies. Madge and Angie have not met. I think both Angie and Madge said the right things but write-ups from people like Lainey is making people read too much into this. I hope people will focus on the right things because the intention of both ladies is to help poor kids and the process is difficult. The interviewer are always hoping to ask that question to start a controversy. Hopefully Madge and Angie will meet soon and share their common experiences.

CNN has become a tabloid with a very thin layer of “news channel”:
Yesterday’s “quick vote” question on CNN.com’s front page was:

“Have you done all your Christmas shopping ?”

With all the things happening everywhere, that’s the most important question they could find.
I’m sure they consider Larry King a maverick inTerviewer (gag me, please!)

I can’t see Brad being a part of a business merger marriage. What would he have gained? What did he gain? A big, fat nothing!

I do believe Brad loved ___. Passionately– I don’t think so. I think that, maybe he fell for the propaganda that if it falls into place without much effort, it means that you’re with your soulmate. There is a big difference between an easy, seemingly effortless relationship and relationship with someone who is passive or doesn’t care enough to disagree or to stand her ground.

It’s demoralizing to be around someone who gives less than a d@mn about the things in life you hold most dear. That’s probably why Brad jumped in with both with Angelina because he knows that she cares as much as he does.

Wow, Insider is talking about the future of Larry King live, and that when he retires (they didn’t say when that was) he will not be replaced.

This is the first I’m hearing this, and makes me wonder if it had bearing on that terrible show yesterday.

i think she did a good job of dispelling the whole adoption on a whim thing with Diane Sawyer. and i loved how she put Lawrence Ziegler in his place about how it feels to have adopted children. as for her being a trendsetter, i still don’t know where that comes from. people have been adopting internationally and cross-racially for years before angie. the problem is that people think everything she does is for PR. they fail to see that she’s genuine with her choices.
