Saw this picture earlier and that baby is so lucky, I saw the story that they asked permission of the child’s parent if he can join in A Mighty Heart movie what a lucky baby Angie also kissed that kid. :)

Wow. I love that she acknowledged that. Sometimes I’ve thought that AJ being the sensitive soul and loving Mom that she is would bendover backwards emphasizing the sameness, but the fact is — no one is the same, and Shiloh is as unique as Zahara is from Mad, and should be appreciated for what she brings to the table, namely that she is the reflection of the love Angelina and Brad have for each other…so it’s cool, AJ is together enough, real and honest to say the obvious.

I swear sometimes I think my speach patterns got stuck in a distant time period. I was just telling someone about how if some of these young girls had to take their children finger-poppin with them they wouldn’t be so quick to keep pushin’ them out and everyone was stuck on my use of the term “finger-poppin”. Western society has reduced the true meaning of marriage down to healthcare coverage, and like you say, tax deductions. I did research on the history of it once, and biblically, ceremony’s weren’t even perfomed in the old testement, and in the new, it was again as you say, about the commitment. It wasn’t until the 13th century that a religious entity, particularly the Catholic church, decided that it should be officiated over by a priest, and then the legalities were off and running. We’ve been so instructed to believe that if it’s not on the books in the courthouse, and in the goverments database, then it’s not real.

I completely agree…Jennifer has gone on record saying she hates being pitied and this is just what this is doing. US is painting the Jolie-Pitt’s as happy and content and they are making them the ’sun’ compared to Jennifer’s ‘planet’. I so agree with that post. Ultimately for Min, it’s not about slamming B&A, which we can be grateful for - it’s about mortifying and embarrassing Jen to no end.

The only thing I worry about is if they go after her too hard, and continue to do it - there really will be a backlash where even people in the industry start to feel for her. Maniston was starting to get on people’s nerves with no help from Min on her own, and in the industry - people were sick of her. Between her Oprah pity parties, her coy VV relationship, her mags alluding to the Jps and how they had made her suffer, and the constant press she was doing for one bad crap movie after another -people were OVER her. Well, I would hope Min is not piling on to the extent there’s actually a backlash and people start rallying around the b*, that would be awful. lol

That said, I think it is sad when she says her kids can’t go trick or treating, etc. She says eventually the obsession with her family will pass. It is clear part of the problem is the fact that well meaning BAMZS fans are contributing to Angelina’’s difficulty. By obsessing about her, more attention is being brought to her innocent children.

If BAMZS fans really cared, the would refrain from the adulation - it only makes the lives of the kids more difficult.

I think Angelina would hate to see this much attention given to her kids.

I agree - it is bizarre.

Angelina says in the interview that her kids can’t go to Disneyworld and to the store like normal kids - the way she and Maddox used to do.

How are you helping the situation byt discussing her kids 24/7?

SHe wants privacy for her kids. Why don’t you give it to her?

How is followign every detail of her kids’ life respectful to her ultimate goal which is to give her kids some level o f normalcy?

my favorite reference for the origin of marriage is with native americans. in some tribes all a guy had to do was run off with the girl of his choice, knock her up, bring her home and her parents had to accept that he was her husband. no ceremony. no paper. a woman could divorce her husband by putting his belongings outside their dwelling.

ceremonies are fun. paper leaves a record. but there are other ways to signify a commitment. contracts and covenants are made every day without the involvement of religious or legal authorities.

Gitane, it really didn’t start bothering me until Jolie-Pitt-Aniston. Seriously. To pinpoint it, someone (I think Malibumom but not sure) posted about how the judge returned Brad & Jen to single status in one month, but the divorce wasnt considered complete until the “property/asset” issues were signed off on in Oct, and that date because of law said it was over regardless of the fact that the “relationship” had ended before. It bothered me that some people kept/keep hinging their “he was still legally married” bull on.

I’m not against marriage in the legal sense, I just hate that it’s become more important than the commitment. I see it as basically holding hostage people because of material possesions, and in some ways blackmail by the gov etc “we’ll give you special treatment if you’re legally a couple……….even though you hate each others guts.”

It really bothers me that children are considered ******** or illigetimate simply because the parents chose to commit to one another instead of one another and the state.

(sorry but I can’t stomache the shister) Clinton turned down a highly decorated and beloved general from becoming the next Chairman of the JCS because 14 years previously while he was legally separated from his wife he had a brief relationship with another woman. Clinton didn’t care if it happened while the man was separated but while he was making that decision Monica was under his desk! The whole issue really has nothing to do with their since of morals but everything to do with things not happening according to their predetermined script of who should be with who!

You know what really is diabolical.

Someone, namely Huvane is in concert with Min, to ensure that Brad doesn’t get recognized at the Globes or Oscars with a win. You know…it may be a sitch where, they’re like, as long as your beating up on Maniston, at least make Pitt her foil, and not Vaughn…Vaughn doesn’t do us a bit of good. No one cares about his ass.

But if you slam Pitt, then he is made to look like a cad once again…and what’s more — that Aniston, is again playing poor pitiful victim…it will all be designed to turn Academy voters off him….

I don’t think the Globe (HW Foreign Press) will care as much…but I worry about the Academy members….

Still hopefully BOTH of those entities could give a f* about Maniston.

What it’s about:
Four groups of strangers – in Morocco, the U.S., Mexico and Japan – find their lives connected in overlapping stories of tragedy and hope.

Jigsaw movie:
Director Alejandro Innaritu (“21 Grams”) follows four different storylines: about a pair of Americans (Pitt, Blanchett) on vacation, a pair of Moroccan children working as goatherds, a deaf teen-age girl in Tokyo and a nanny in San Diego taking the children she cares for with her to a wedding in Mexico. Every facet of the film builds to shocking intensity – and each one comments on the other while dealing with its own plot. They share a theme of miscommunication – the frustrating inability to make yourself understood at a critical moment.

Aging Brad:
There’s no vanity to Pitt’s performance. The golden boy makes himself look older and more weary, as a husband caught by surprise when his wife’s life is threatened in a foreign country. He’s just one of several strong performances here, most of them by unknowns and even nonactors. The director puts you right in the middle of locales that are both inviting and forbidding. The movie will leave you feeling wrung out.

Long story short:
In any language, it’s a stunning film experience.

Jeez, Life&Style really really wants there to be a baby number 4 on the way. They are not giving up on the pregnancy and wedding thing even with Angie’s denials. Hey, at least it’s positive compared to last year’s negatives. So, basically the only tabloid still with the Brad and JA getting back together is National Enquirer. Cool, by this time next year, it might still be a pity party for JA but I’m pretty sure none will print the Brad going back to his X stories.

It’s official, the STAR may be fed up with Maniston, and US Weekly we know loathes her very being, but the Enquirer still hates Angie evidently

Oh Joy I’m sorry to hear you don’t like BC. I love him and he if could run again I’d be the first one in the voting line. My maternal grandmother was always very active in org’s that advocated for children, single mothers, and civil rights issues period. She was present at the first march on Washingtion in 63, and her last was in 93 were she met Bill Clinton and she fell in love lol. Now she’d met pretty much every sitting president from Kennedy on down to Clinton, but she said of all of them, Bill was the most sincere, and authentic. He made you feel as if you were the only person in the room, and you had his full attention. Very warm and caring, and yeah, a charmer, but real and my Nana didn’t suffer fools.

He deployed our military more than any other president for a variety of causes after shrinking the force and refusing to make appropriate pay raises. I’m sorry but this is focked up on so many levels.

First of all, throwing baby dolls on a bonfire? I hope that this is a snarky flight of fancy on Defamer’s part because that sounds like the actions of an unstable person… or 10 year old boy, who doesn’t have any business being near fire, much less, playing with fire.

Secondly, there is no way that she would be naive enough to think that the June People spread would be the first and last time the public would be treated to Shiloh. Maddox and Zahara are very visible; there is no reason to believe that Shiloh would be an exception.

Third, Shiloh is the offspring of the person she deemed as missing a sensitivity chip. You mean to tell me that she’s regretting that she didn’t produce an offspring with the man she worked so hard to dismiss and trivialize during her televised, publicity seeking onslaught?

Fourth, her chronic fixation on the ex that preceded her current ex, Vince Vaughn, is the pinnacle of disrespect. She went through great pains to emphasis Vince Vaughn’s ‘loyalty’; where is the reciprocity? Where is the lamentations of what could’ve been, with Vince? I’m sure that Vince doesn’t want to be on the other side of her when she’s ‘hurting’ or ‘disappointed’, especially if he’s the cause of it, but their year together should’ve counted for something, right? And fifth, if her new rituals are true, what makes her think that anyone would empathize with her? I’m always so sceptical of UK pub’s, but I do know HELLO is the UK PEOPLE; that Jolie-Pitt posed for the story that ran in both, and it “sounds” like Angelina’s speaks; the syntax, and so I’m choosing to believe it’s real and with that said…..

I’d love to be a fly on the wall of the Missouri visit and especially when Grandma Betty is around. Next up, I love how Angelina says Brad takes care of her and makes sure she has a nice time when she wants to have an adventure. He seems like the type to really thrive on taking care of his, and as much as I hate to, Lainey said a long time ago when I used to go there, that Brad took care of their travel needs, and so maybe Lainey got that one right.

To All Bamzs Fans:

For the last couple of weeks, we finally got the vindication of truth on how strong Brad and Angelina’s commitment and love for each other. Based on what we know now, it is obvious that this beautiful family is going strong and will continue to flourish, not just for now, but for the coming years.

So, as my new year’s wish for the Jolie-Pitt family, I wish them good health of their globetrotting adventures, and more strength to maintain their private moments of simply being a nurturing family.

And to all the BAMZS fans – may we all stop talking about Jennifer A. – after all, she is irrelevant to the Jolie-Pitt family (despite tabloids constant mention of her). JA is insignificant, and therefore, does not deserve to mention or gets attention. So evidently a woman who was pregnant and not married was not embraced and pawed over like she was holy herself. Joshua said “Choose you this day who you will serve, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” It’s a choice Joy. And to this date, these ppl have not chosen to serve the Lord according to his word.

My cousin is a preacher in Florida, he and I always has the same argument regarding religion and everything else. To me, eventhough I’m a Christian, by choice, ( eventhough my family send me to both Christian School and Catholic School when I was young, my mum is Catholic, my dad is an Aetheist). The story of how Jesus came about was to me to this day is so unlikely( for today culture, Alien abuction came to mind, anyone? and if you know anything about history and the culture at that period, it’s also not ET) . Why do we accepted that Mary, who was pregnant out of wedlock, with “God’s child/the savior” and still be a virgin and Joseph her boyfriend/fiance, accepted the child because there was an angel came to him and tell him so and…..The whole town accepted the fact that she was pregnant by god’s child. ( sound like one of those Greek/Roman mythology, remember the almighty Zeus? ah!) and they have to leave town because of the King decreed to kill all first male child born?…how in the world did they know that they will have a male born?….oopsss….of course the angel told them. So this is where my cousin and I did not see eyes to eyes. The story is so far fetched that it was miracle most everyone in the worlds believe it and still unto this day. So for a christian society today to say that you have to be married to have children, frown upon children who was born out of wedlock is so funny to me….. Jesus was one of those child born out of wedlock. The virgin Mary was never married to God, but to Joseph. ( interesting no?)

We can argued about all the religions and its flaws until we are blue in the face, still I’m a christian and as a christian, we do not questions the bible and its sacred words, just like if you are a budhist or a muslim….

That’s a good post about marriage. You know….where I come from the formal or White wedding ceremony, as some call it, is just an added bonus. Okay, this is how it works (or worked because now everyone wants a big, white wedding and all of the trappings) in the old days, There’s the Introduction…where the groom’s family going to introduce themselves to the brides family (it doesn’t matter even if the parents have been friends forever). The grooms family goes to the brides home, tell the elders their son is interested a their daughter. Oh really? And what makes him think he is worthy? The Brides family asks, the groom now talks about his family lineage, what he is and how he intends to be a good husband and blah…blah…blah. The bride’s family considers the offer and accepts (they always do). They set a date for a traditonal wedding during which the Father of the groom officially hands over his daughter to the groom and his parents…kinda telling them that she is now your wife/daughter and you’d better take care of her. The elders of both family bless the union and just like that…they are married. There is more to the ceremony but I don’t want to bore you with the details and also keep in mind, some weddings, depending on what part of the country you come from can last from 7 -21 days (So believe me when I tell you….it’s not something you take for granted.) There’s a running joke amongst some Africans…that if a couple is thinking about get divorce, all anyone has to do is remind them of the 7 or 14 or 21….however long it took to get married and every thought of divorce flies out the window…lol.

I bet some people are probably wondering….if it’s all legal? Absolutely….considering marriage really has nothing to do with the State or Govt, It is a family affair and I believe that’s where saying “getting a father/parents blessing”. As long as your father or a well respected adult male in the bride’s family hans her to the groom and his family….you set to go. After the traditional wedding, some people still want to have the formal wedding but if you don’t it doesn’t make you any less married….besides, the formal weddings are usually for showmanship any way. I know couples who didn’t have the Legal marriage, are they are as committed as any other “legally married couple out there.

Sorry about the long post….I just love talking about African Weddings….talking not participating, they can be exhusting…lol.

Rosie O’Donnell had some fiery words for Donald Trump on The View Wednesday morning, calling him a “snake-oil salesman” following his announcement that he would not fire troubled Miss USA Tara Conner.

After hearing about her comments, Trump fired back to PEOPLE, calling her “a woman out of control” and saying he planned to sue O’Donnell over her statements questioning his financial well-being.

“You can’t make false statements,” Trump tells PEOPLE exclusively. “Rosie will rue the words she said. I’ll most likely sue her for making those false statements – and it’ll be fun. Rosie’s a loser. A real loser. I look forward to taking lots of money from my nice fat little Rosie.”

The battle began on Wednesday’s show, when a peeved O’Donnell said: “(He) left the first wife – had an affair. (He) had kids both times, but he’s the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America. Donald, sit and spin, my friend.”

O’Donnell, who impersonated Trump by deepening her voice and flipping her hair to one side, aimed her criticism at his comment from the Tuesday press conference that, “I’ve always been a believer in second chances. Tara is good person. Tara has tried hard. Tara is going to be given a second chance.”

Conner, who just turned 21, will go to rehab but keep her crown, following reports of alleged drug and alcohol abuse. A grateful Conner apologized for her behavior at the press conference, and she thanked Trump for his compassion.

But O’Donnell was not as touched. After repeatedly saying she “didn’t enjoy him,” Rosie discussed Trump’s finances – saying he went bankrupt, which Trump denies – and likened him to the “snake-oil salesman on Little House On The Prairie. This is not a self-made man,” O’Donnell said.

And while O’Donnell and her View co-hosts discussed Conner’s alleged drug and alcohol abuse, Rosie was dismissive, saying, “She went out and she was partying – doing what Paris and Lindsay do.”

She also turned her wrath toward the Miss USA organization itself. “Miss America is the prestige,” she said. “Miss USA is a different thing. It’s basically a model competition. Let’s be realistic.”

Trump’s response? “She talked about the Miss USA contest, which has terrific ratings on NBC. Miss America got thrown off of network television! It’s (on cable), where nobody watches it,” he said, countering her statements. “And my father never gave me tons of money.”

He also thinks Rosie’s rant against him was personal. Trump says he once sarcastically chastised Rosie about her “failed magazine” and “failed talk show.” Added The Donald: “I think she’s just terrible.”

For her part, O’Donnell seemed to realize she was in for a fight after she criticized Trump, adding: “Here comes the lawsuit. Get ready. This is going to be good.”

On Wednesday afternoon The View executive producers, Bill Geddie and Barbara Walters, issued a statement in support of O’Donnell – and Trump.

“Both Rosie and Donald are high-spirited, opinionated people. Donald has been a friend of The View for many years and Rosie, of course, is our enormously popular moderator. We cherish them both and hope the new year brings calm and peace.”

ok…..let me weigh in with all of my 2 cents too :)

I think that any tabloid news that portray X as angry/hurt/crying/envious/jealous of the Jolie-Pitts’ beuatiful family/life/happiness/success, AT THIS POINT IN TIME AND IN THE FUTURE, only serve to make HER look ridiculous, if not unbalanced mentally and psychologically.

Not only that, but it works retro-actively, in eliminating sympathy she mmay have garnered earlier. It’s about time she gets exposed for who she is, even if not all articles are entirey true-they all paint her as she really is.

So, it pleases me that the editors are on to her, and mindful of the fact that she is no longer America’s sweetheart since the Prince left her for a Princess, now decided to stop gilding the plastic lily, and tell it like it is.

So, I enjoy a very good laugh when I see them :)
