Brad & Angelina’s Pictures in Cambodia
Here are some pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at MCCC (Maddox Chivan Children’s Center), a center in Cambodia named after their son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt. The MCCC provides a unique program of multidisciplinary care for Cambodian children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Also pictured below: Marie-Pierre Fernandez, director of the MCCC, and co-founder of the CHC (Cambodian Health Committee) Anne Goldfeld, and a child who currently attends the MCCC. Say what you will about this couple, but at least they are going to the far reaches of the world and trying to make a difference. Working for the UN, you see a lot of celebrities claiming that they want to make a difference, but never wanting to step outside their element. Good for them for having the courage to go out and shine a light on places that would otherwise be ignored!!! Look at them, no luxuries, no special treatment, and yet they have big bright smiles on their faces. Like you would EVER see Nicole Kidman or Jennifer Aniston EVER do that!!!

And what makes this even better is that they do this at their OWN expense. No big wig studio is funding their trip. I know they are both big Hollywood stars, but it is their philanthropic endevours that make them beautiful to me. Its their willingness to bring attention and focus to the worlds most disavantaged, that I have the most respect for. Say what you will about them, but I will never have a bad word to say about them. You can tell that thay have great character, and if anything, its that willingess to make a difference in the world, is what we should honour!

Angie looks like her Mom in the picture where she’s holding a child. This center helps those truly in need - helpless children with a stigmatized disease. Bravo to the whole organization beginning with Angie and Brad. How great are they???

If I may add…Nicole Kidman would scare those children with her pale, botox-filled emotionless face. There’s no warmth there and honestly, she’s not that good of an actress. Jennifer Aniston wouldn’t even pretend to care. She would not go anywhere where there’s not a 5-star hotel she can “hide” in to smoke.
Brad probably always wanted to do good but didn’t have the proper motivation and know-how. Angie came along and there she was doing everything she wanted in terms of giving back. I bet he was absolutely fascinated and enthralled with her. Heck, we are.
To All Bamzs Fans:
For the last couple of weeks, we finally got the vindication of truth on how strong Brad and Angelina’s commitment and love for each other. Based on what we know now, it is obvious that this beautiful family is going strong and will continue to flourish, not just for now, but for the coming years.
So, as my new year’s wish for the Jolie-Pitt family, I wish them good health of their globetrotting adventures, and more strength to maintain their private moments of simply being a nurturing family.
And to all the BAMZS fans – may we all stop talking about Jennifer A. – after all, she is irrelevant to the Jolie-Pitt family (despite tabloids constant mention of her). JA is insignificant, and therefore, does not deserve to mention or gets attention. Otherwise, the mere mentioning of her name, is de-service to the good cause of what we are advocating and promoting about the Jolie-Pitt’s family.
Just a little footnote before I start my New Year’s resolution:
Huvane is not to be totally blamed for all the mishaps with JA situation. It is JA who is to be blamed for her own career and personal demise. She is, her own demon. I do not think that she is smart enough to understand that the world does not revolve around her – her existence is just a speck of this vast universe, especially if her contribution are down to pure superficialities, i.e. hair, tanning, drinking, yoga, being skinny. All of which, have no significant or real value to the progress of mankind.
Her pity-party is so overdone and tedious. The truth is, there is really nothing else there for her, unless she snap out from her delusions, and learn to come to terms of who she is, an insecure, narcissistic, unstable individual who requires long term professional help.

Angelina does seem the most beautiful and comfortable when she’s out doing what she cares for. I bet she wishes that she’s back in Cambodia right now instead of having to deal with ridiculous people like Larry King trying to pry into her personal life. But then she’s got to do her job which is promoting her film.
I agree with the lurker. It seems as if every Jolie-Pitt thread is turned into a hate-Aniston thread. While I myself don’t hate Aniston, it seems that nowadays people seem to be more obsessed with putting Aniston down than enjoying this wonderful family. She no longer has anything to do with the family (and I doubt that the recent rumors about Aniston throwing baby dolls into bonfires, etc. are true), so hating on her will only succeed in bringing more hatred to the world, which I bet are definitely not one of Brad and Angelina’s goals. All I can do is wish Jennifer more security in herself and MOVE ON.

Unfortunately we have this misnomer that you have to give thousands upon thousands to make a difference, but it isn’t the case. I work for this organization, and as little as $100 a year can make a difference for millions of people in the world. You don’t have to give a lot to make a world of difference. What you possibly may spend on a Christmas gift this season, can afford to feed a family for a year, or subsidize the cost of medication for a child. I’ve attached a link so that you can have a look for yourself. I know that a lot of people are pessimistic with NGO’s, although not perfect, they do a lot of good and provide genuine relief. You never know the power that you have to change someone’s life.

I think it’s interesting that so much validation has come now for those who supported Jolie-Pitt as we enter into a new year. It’s got a kinda “our work is done” feel to it, or at least for me it does after all the batteling, fusing, enjoying, waiting & watching. I’m sure I’ll be popping in from time to time either as a poster or lurker, so not really goodbye, but my time here as a regular is pretty much going to be hit and miss in the future. It feels great that I was on this side when the smoke cleared.

I just saw Jon’s imitation on Comedy Central. I know I might regret saying this, since I think ___ deserves everything she’s getting, but I would love it if the tabs, specifically US Magazine, got off of her back and use their considerable resources to call out Trump on his hypocrisy. I mean, really ride him, like he rides on any coattail he hops onto.

Amaya, I am going to hope that you are around for a few minutes longer. I talked to the Senior Editor (used to work for UPI) now works for another news org. She has known CR for the past 12 years. This is her take: She is very very smart and GB is flattered that she thinks as he does. He respects that she can take his thoughts and put them into intelligent form. She said that she was appointed to a position in which her Russian cold war background didn’t translate into Middleeast diplomacy. The old canard that if you are smart you can do anything. May or may not be true but GB believes it. Someone else came along and added that there is more admiration than affection on GB’s part. He added that GB trusts her.

Grandma, I read an article in the AARP mag about CR. Very laudatory of her intelligence, but in my opinion she probably is still a little green for foreign affairs.
Adventure With Grandma
I remember my first Christmas adventure with Grandma. I was just a kid. I
remember tearing across town on my bike to visit her on the day my big
sister dropped the bomb: “There is no Santa Claus,” she jeered. “Even dummies
know that!”
My Grandma was not the gushy kind, never had been. I fled to her that day
because I knew she would be straight with me. I knew Grandma always told
the truth, and I knew that the truth always went down a whole lot easier when
swallowed with one of her world-famous cinnamon buns. I knew they were
world-famous, because Grandma said so. It had to be true.
Grandma was home, and the buns were still warm. Between bites, I told her
everything. She was ready for me. “No Santa Claus!” she snorted. “Ridiculous!
Don’t believe it. That rumor has been going around for years, and it makes me
mad, plain mad. Now, put on your coat, and let’s go.”
“Go? Go where, Grandma?” I asked. I hadn’t even finished my second
world-famous, cinnamon bun. “Where” turned out to be Kerby’s General
Store, the one store in town that had a little bit of just about everything. As we
walked through its doors, Grandma handed me ten dollars. That was a bundle in those
days. “Take this money,” she said, “and buy something for someone who needs it.
I’ll wait for you in the car.” Then she turned and walked out of Kerby’s.
I was only eight years old. I’d often gone shopping with my mother, but
never had I shop ped for anything all by myself. The store seemed big and
crowded, full of people scrambling to finish their Christmas shopping. For a few
moments I just stood there, confused, clutching that ten-dollar bill, wondering
what to buy, and who on earth to buy it for.
I thought of everybody I knew: my family, my friends, my neighbors, the
kids at school, the people who went to my church. I was just about thought
out, when I suddenly thought of Bobby Decker. He was a kid with bad breath and
messy hair, and he sat right behind me in Mrs. Pollock’s grade-two class. Bobby
Decker didn’t have a coat. I knew that because he never went out for recess during
the winter. His mother always wrote a note, telling the teacher that he
had a cough, but all we kids knew that Bobby Decker didn’t have a cough, and he
didn’t have a coat. I fingered the ten-dollar bill with growing excitement. I would
buy Bobby Decker a coat!
I settled on a red corduroy one that had a hood to it. It looked real warm,
and he would like that. “Is this a Christmas present for someone?” the lady
behind the counter asked kindly, as I laid my ten dollars down. “Yes,” I
replied shyly. “It’s …. for Bobby.” The nice lady smiled at me. I didn’t get
any change, but she put the coat in a bag and wished me a Merry Christmas.
That evening, Grandma helped me wrap the coat in Christmas paper and
ribbons (a little tag fell out of the coat, and Grandma tucked it in her Bible)
and wrote, “To Bobby, From Santa Claus” on it — Grandma said that Santa
always insisted on secrecy. Then she drove me over to Bobby Decker’s house,
explaining as we went that I was now and forever officially one of Santa’s helpers.
Grandma parked down the street from Bobby’s ho use, and she and I crept
noiselessly and hid in the bushes by his front walk. Then Grandma gave me
a nudge. “All right, Santa Claus,” she whispered, “get going.”
I took a deep breath, dashed for his front door, threw the present down on
his step, pounded his doorbell and flew back to the safety of the bushes and
Grandma. Together we waited breathlessly in the darkness for the front door to
open. Finally it did, and there stood Bobby.
Fifty years haven’t dimmed the thrill of those moments spent shivering,
beside my Grandma, in Bobby Decker’s bushes. That night, I realized that
those awful rumors about Santa Claus were just what Grandma said they were:
ridiculous.
Santa was alive and well, and we’re on his team.
I still have the Bible, with the tag tucked inside: $19.95.

Cinematical: Can you give an update on Atlas Shrugged? What sparked your interest in developing it? “I think it’s a wonderful book. I’m a fan of her writing. I think it’s an amazing project. It’s, in many ways, a controversial and complicated project and I think it needs to be done right. There’s been a lot of talk as to how that can be and ‘what are the important reasons for making it?’ There’s a lot of really great people involved. It’s being written now, and we’ll see as the script comes out, how close we are. Then we’ll know how close we are to possibly making it. Everybody involved, the producers involved, we all sat down around a table and we all agreed that if we couldn’t do it right, if we couldn’t do it justice, if along the way any one piece didn’t come together like the right director or the right script, then we would all just fold it and not do it. So that’s where we’re at right now. We’re taking it step by step, and we’re going to make damn sure that it’s done right.”
Cinematical: What are the ‘important reasons’ you referred to? “I think it’s too complicated to get into, because I think the discussion about that project, the misconceptions about her [Ayn Rand], different interpretations of her, that script … it is a huge subject. So I’d be tentative about speaking lightly about it.”
Non-Cinematical Question: Have you ever been made aware of any CIA activity in developing countries during your humanitarian work? “I’ve never been aware of something specific, but I’ve witnessed our foreign policy and I’ve witnessed the change in the perception of America’s foreign policy in the last few years. Every trip I take in the field has been different because of the changes we’ve made. I’m sure the CIA has had a hand in that. What changes are you referring to? Well, to be completely honest, about five years ago when I started traveling and I would say I was American, everyone was very, very excited and they thought it was the greatest thing in the world, the greatest place in the world. Now you feel cautious. You feel that people are not so joyful about that. They question my country or they say things like ‘Oh, it’s extraordinary that you’re here, because you’re American.’ And that’s not true to the American people. The American people are very caring, generous people. That’s been proven with the work every individual household has done, the charity they do, and who we are as a people. But it’s not what our government has represented in the last few years, so it’s been difficult to go to places abroad and see that. I think we all know exactly what I’m saying.”
Non-Cinematical Question: Bob De Niro and Matt Damon both met with lots of CIA people in preparation for this role. Did you research by meeting with CIA families? “I didn’t, because most of the people they could talk to were men in the CIA. Women like Clover were absent, or quieted, or moved to Arizona. It was almost impossible to talk to the women, and I think the reality is that the women knew so little. There would be very little to talk about. So my choice was almost to really talk to nobody, understand nothing, and be trapped in this world. Sometimes De Niro’s character would come in and I hadn’t focused on exactly who he was in the script and exactly what he did. I didn’t do my research on it, so he walked in and I really wasn’t sure who he was. That was kind of how I stayed in the dark.”
Non-Cinematical Question: Do you want to work with Brad Pitt again? “Who’s going to watch the children?”
Non-Cinematical Question: Talk about how you connected with the character. What was it about her that you identified with? “I think that kind of ‘feeling alone’. I haven’t necessarily felt that in a marriage, per say, but in my life. She’s surrounded by a lot of people with a lot of secrets. A lot of quiet, a lot of people just ‘accepting’. As much as she’s broken, she’s also the only person who is desperate to scream out and try to get some reaction, something honest. I’ve found that in my life a lot. And it would break me, I would start drinking or something terrible, if I was in a situation where I was surrounded by lies or secrets or quiet, and just not a real life.”
Non-Cinematical Question: Do you think a certain amount of deception or self-deception is necessary in a relationship? “No, I think quite the opposite is the only thing that works. I don’t want to spend my life having to pretend to be someone else. And I don’t want the person next to me to have to pretend, ever, because we’ve got a long life ahead of us. You want to just be able to be who you are in every moment, and that’s the only way you’ll ever be truly happy, anyway.”
Non-Cinematical Question: Are you still interested in Sin City 2? “Yeah, we’ve talked about it and I read the comic. I don’t think the film is being made at this point, so when it’s actually going to be, then I’m sure we’ll talk about it. It was a funny thing because the idea came to me when I was pregnant. It was this idea that ‘I’ve been Clover and depressed and quiet’ and now I’m maternal and pregnant, and here was this idea of….sexy, violent and loud. I thought, ‘after I’m pregnant, maybe that will be nice to do’. It didn’t come at that time, but we’re still talking about it. I didn’t think she could, not because of her acting ability, but because of the sense you have of her, plus her persona, and her publicity, and the sort of ‘vamp’ — all that stuff.
But she found the dignity in the thing. So it was an interesting combination, because as a personality, as a human being, I think she’s not a very repressed human being. I think. I don’t know her that intimately, but she seems on face value to be sure of herself. She does what she wants to do for herself. And in that era, under those circumstances, women were very repressed. But the character is sexually aggressive. Yeah, but I think she’s a woman who wants something. In other words, I think in a way she also has a point of view about it. I know she’s sexually aggressive in that particular instance, but I think it’s sort of anger. She’s taking her anger out. In another day and age, she could be Angelina Jolie and not be a repressed woman, but this is the 1940s. So then she found herself alone. And everybody said to me ‘Why do you have that one moment where she says ‘I’m no longer Clover, I’ve changed my name.’ We never talk about it again. It was supposed to be representative of someone saying ‘This is who I really am.’”

Now you tell me. That site is full of haters. It is the same old things with those people. It amazes me how some blogs can misquote and sensationalize a story in order to get hits. That is why I like the positive vibe at JJ. People who come to this site cannot compare it to dlisted and other blogs where posters spew some of the nastiest comments. The people that post on those sites have some serious mental problems. I did not know that there were that many vile words in the dictionary. I love the fact that BP and AJ could care less about these blogs, tabs and racist bigots. They just continue to raise their multi-cultural children and live their lives. Some other celebrity could learn from them and not focus so much on public image, maintaining the “deer in the headlights” persona and just get on with their life. Fans come and go. Now, I am of the view that all that matters - adopted or not - that both of these babies are raised well such that they go on to become responsible adults. Thank you so much for the interview. I love Leonardo DiCaprio, but I’m glad he wasn’t able to do TGS. As I’m aware of the character of Clover, he would have worked in the husbands role if it were someone like Gwyneth Paltrow. I don’t think the sex would trump the story trying to be told about their home life like I think it would if it were Leonardo and Angelina.
Angelina Jolie talked about the characters having nothing in common, and made it clear that Clover is not only repressed, but that she and Matt’s character have no chemistry which I’m taking as “out of the bed/in the bed, and it’s a puzzlement to her how they got together. With the casting of Matt & Angelina I can see that being relayed more readily, but with Leonardo in the role? Naw. I know I probably wouldn’t be able NOT to find them distracting because I think that at least a sexual chemistry just based on them physical would be present for me at least.
Their story isn’t about love or passion or anything other than rules of the time (his profession/her as a woman married to a man married to his profession), and life lived in the dark with no way out, not romance, and I think it would have been hard for me not to go “ooohhh” if Leonardo was Clover’s man. JMHO

adoption has a stigma because of the idea that the child wasn’t wanted by its birth parents. also, many people who adopt do so because they are unable to have biological children. so narrow-minded people have the idea that there’s something wrong with all parties involved. will this change? i don’t know, but i’ve noticed that many people have become a lot more open and accepting of adoption lately.
as for helping non-americans. there’s a saying that “charity begins at home”. as in, you should help your own before you help anyone else. it doesn’t matter that the outsider may be needier than your needy person. it’s all about isolationism. matter of fact, i’m going to look up the origin of that idiom. something tells me it came out of the depression…

On Sunday, Carrey and McCarthy hosted a holiday party for friends and family, including Carrey’s daughter, Jane, 19, and McCarthy’s son, Evan, 4. Holmes and Cruise were there.
The event was the second high-profile get-together for the famous couples. The first was Nov. 18, when Carrey and McCarthy attended the TomKat wedding outside Rome.
The A-list wedding guests had celebrity watchers scratching their heads; Holmes and Cruise hadn’t been known to be friends or colleagues with many of them.
Holmes started stepping out with guest and former Spice Girl Beckham just weeks before the nuptials. (David Beckham’s contract with Real Madrid required him to be at a soccer match that day.) Since the wedding, Holmes and Cruise have been on several social outings with Victoria Beckham and wedding guests Lopez and Anthony.
“Power attracts power,” says Janice Min, editor of Us Weekly. “Whether or not it was genuine before the wedding, it seems to have developed into something real.”
Boston-based image consultant Evangelia Souris suggests the new clique is a move to improve Cruise’s image. “His old circle was strongly affiliated with Scientology, and he doesn’t need the public to define him in just that circle,” Souris says.
The stars’ reps say they’re all just good friends. Cruise’s fellow Scientologist Leah Remini introduced TomKat to her pals Lopez and Anthony shortly before the wedding, and Carrey and Cruise have been socializing on and off at backyard barbeques for several years.

Why do they say that, when M&MS made almost half a billion dollars worldwide, and Babel already recouped its budget. TGS has not come out yet, and it is NOT an Angelina movie, it is a Robert DeNiro/Matt Damon movie, Angelina just played a supporting role. I love the pictures. I’m learning more and more from this family and the causes they are supporting. I didn’t know that Cambodia had the same mayor problem of HIV/AIDS children victims in the same percentage as in Africa. Angelina is doing a great job by starting this organisation on the behalf of Madd’s name. I love the fact that they are really hands on in everything they do and they are spending actual TIME and MONEY on their efforts to help those who really need their help. And I love that they don’t losing an opportunity give light and attention to these wonderful programs and the work they are doing even if they are on filming a movie or just travel along such as India and Cambodia. And Brad has already been in all of the places their children came from.

Because a lot of americans are so arrogant and narcissistic - we tend to think that we are special group of people and that we are the only one entitled, somehow the luxury of living a good life - everyone else outside our borders are just second citizens. We, Americans are convinced that somehow, we are the only deserving group of people who “should” be strong, healthy and rich, educated, powerful, and has to be a leader, who can dictate how the world should be - everyone else can just be a follower.
Some people believe that Brad and Angelina should adopt american babies first - again, the sense of entitlement, as if somehow, babies oversees are less deserving to have a decent life (perhaps less human with lesser rights to live) - A stunning and disturbing reality, of our lack of basic moral values.
Unfortunately and ironically, it is the religiousity of this country, that makes a lot of americans arrogant. The idea that somehow they have a better relationship with God or God favors them over everyone else who are non-beleivers (because they have memorized and follow every doctrine in the bible) is just ridiculous.
America is a religious country, in which humility and compassion is a rare commodity..

You are one very talented person. My hat is off to you. My first job in DC was on peacekeeping operations in the Congo. It was an AID sponsored project. John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies trains the diplomats and they hosted the project so had a chance to hear all the teachers and speakers brought in for the classes. That was a long tme ago.

Oh let their asses pout! I think Ayn Rand would be thrilled for AJ to be in the role. IIn truth, it’s been ages since I read AS, but I’m determined to fix that one before long, but my main reason for thinking she’d be great is seriously elementary. She wants to do it. About adoption, as a foster mom I can see and have seen how people work on this. Personally, for me, I do not want to hear how good I am or how it is so hard to love someone elses kids.
It is actually the other way around. Displaced children are the good people, they are in circumstances that are beyond their control. It is so easy to fall in love with these children, whether you have children you bore or not (I do). I have a hard time wondering how, if anyone actually took the time to meet these lovely children, they could not love them.
Love is not just about “blood family”, you grow up, find someone not of your blood and love them, why not with children as well?
Where they come from does not matter at all. Most of us at some point in our own history have come from “somewhere else”.
We need to be more humble, all look past whatever borders we are in and realize this is one whole world. If we do not look after each and everyone in it who will?
Unless you walk the walk (or even look at the path) don’t try to talk the talk.
With respect to the “triange”. I am first and foremost a fan of AJ and family. I hold no ill will of Jen. I would hope given time they can all talk, if not that is ok too, really when it comes down to it, who cares? It is none of our business. I recall that they all try to thwart the press, with good reason, so unless it comes from their mouths I won’t believe, and even then I will chose what seems right as it is none of our business and they do not have to bare their souls to us.
Just my opinion though.

Your post made me think of Maddox, and wondering what’s on his mind since the trip there. Both he and Zahara seem to be so observant of their surroundings. It goes without saying that they’ve been more places and seen more in their short lives than many ever will, but with Maddox, he’s old enough to take in that his clothing is different, and the homes he lives in are different, and that he fly’s in planes and is followed by all these people. I wonder about his seeing the place he was born, and wonder if he has any sense of being the same physically, but living a life very different than those children. I know his parents are the type that talk to him about things and I just imagine he’s been full of so many questions. Those kids are going to do good and great things.

I am not being mean or anything, but why do you care? If I want to post over and over again how over the moon I am about BAMZS, is that a problem? You can skip over the posts, or better yet, get out of this thread. It’s simple, really. But calling what we do is crazy is so not nice.
That picture of Brad with all the kids is so cute, he sure loves the little ones. They both do which is obvious in these pictures, look how happy they both look. I think they have more fun then the kids they visit, which is great.

The last post of your’s about the psychology of haters, i finally managed to comprehend especially after African Girl tried to explain it to me giving instances. And what a great post it was!! I even wrote back and am not sure if you got a chance to read mine. Anyways, here again, you come up with a great post! Statistics is what i like! When you present facts with stats, that’s when people take you seriously. About India, i know it’s a poor country but again i did’nt know how poor stats-wise. Thank you for taking the pain to post all the facts. I keep telling you all and i tell you again, being born in America is like being born with a silver-spoon in your mouth. All you Americans are very fortunate, trust me. I’ve seen both the worlds and know exactly what poverty means. The poverty that you talk in America is nothing compared to the poverty i’ve seen in India. I dont know why there is so much of a discrepency in God’s creation. All this has lead me to become an atheist. Only people can change the world. Not God. And people like Angie and Brad are very few. If every rich man in this world give up a small portion of their wealth to improve the quality of life of poorer people, it would make a great difference. And that’s exactly what B and A are doing and that’s precisely why i like them so much. They truely are inspiring. When i go back to India next year, iam planning to work for some social cause and that’s definitely beacuse iam inspired by these two!! It might be something very small, but if each one of us does something small, it will substancially help a lot of people out there.

Thank you Jubilee for the info on the Krama. I really learn a lot by following BAMZS. I talked to a person I met at work the other day, who is Indian (from India). Told her about Mumbai, Agra, the Celebration of Lights, etc… she was so impressed. I didn’t tell her I just learnt those things after reading about BAMZS in India. LOL. She just came to the States about # years ago, and i have the impression that she doesn’t really care about any HW celebrities yet. i didn’t ask her about the subject, though.

Trump vs. Rosie….if I were Rosie my attitude would be like “Bring it B*tch!” :lol: I’m disappointed in BW for being neutral because heaven forbid she loses one of her high society friends. She actually went to his wedding to his current wife so she doesn’t want to upset him.

Yeah Babs Walters is such a flake. I hope she and Rosie are getting along okay - seems like she was more than a bit miffed on that one show where Rosie was saying Babs was richer than rich….Babs should have immediately chastized DT for calling Rosie ‘fat,’ he was insulting a whole group of people, not just her. Richard Roeper from Roeper & Ebert is on Leno said that he feels that the Best Picture of the year will go to The Departed. I agree. I feel that the Oscar for Best Director will NOT go to Scorsese so they will “honor” the film as Best Picture to recognize everyone associated with the film including Scrosese.

Where in the world are Brad and Angelina? Yes, folks — that was my very favorite game to play this year. From Paris to Namibia to Cambodia and beyond, I simply couldn’t get enough of this beautiful looking family.
Some of you are going to hate on me for this (like my friend Armena, who is so not on team Jolie), but I like Brangelina. There — I said it. I I like them. I really, really like them.
Now I don’t think she’s Mother Teresa or he’s a genius — they haven’t totally brainwashed me just yet — but I simply can’t take my eyes off of them. Every photo I find, I examine. I read and reread their interviews — like her tell-all in Vogue. And I watch all their sit-downs interviews waiting for new tidbits. There’s just something about them that fascinates me. So, yes, I am coming out as Team Jolie
Which brings me to… Jennifer Aniston, who I always also sorta liked. I never got the whole Vince Vaughn thing so I’m glad that’s over. And her interviews — especially her bit on Oprah — seem so staged. I also don’t get why her manager keeps telling big whopper lies to “protect” her. That’s been biting them in the ass all year and making her look a little cuckoo. That said, I feel she’s unfairly targeted by some magazines — like Us Weekly, who run covers like Why Jen Can’t Find a Man. But enough about her… she can work all that out in therapy and make a big comeback in 2007.
I’m all about Brangelina this year. And Mad, Z and Shiloh too.

Before finding Just Jared, I used to wonder on a lot of blogs hoping to find other fans of this family but instead, all I saw were the most vile comments that I’ve read. One of the blogs I ventured on was the Ivillage blabber. The person who wrote was so snarky about Brad and Angelina and the women who commented were no better and very uninformed about Angelina. But this faniston zone was a lot tamer compared to alot of places …so far this person who wrote for Dailyblabber to admit she likes the Jolie-Pitts is something that I’m taken aback by. I don’t the women are going to be happy especially for that person to admit that JA is need of some serious therapy and to admit that she told lies this past year.
It can only get better from here on out folks. Sure, there will be more snarky articles and comments from certain blogsites and tabliods, but like others have said, it’s finally over. Only the fanistons are desperately hanging on and soon they’ll have to let go and move on too. There will always be bumps along the way but this family will get through it. It speaks volumes of Brad and Angelina that they were able to turn so many nonbelievers and haters into fans who are facinated by them as we have been from the very start. My prayers are always with this couple and their kids..however many they decide to have and to the ones they already have. =)

I used to lurk on IMBD.com before I found JustJared, and boy, there were so many self-righteous beeyatches over there, who called Brad “Cad” and Angie as “Holie” but there were also very faithful BA fans who always defended them even though these Fanistons called them fanbots, crazy, etc. Ever since one of them pointed the “right” way to me, I have always been a JJ fan, and just semi-occasionally lurked at other sites. But JJ is my first and only blogging choice.
ITA, Stardust — it can only get better for us from now on. People are slowly seeing how Anuston is the Fraudulent One, and for those who still side with her, they are experiencing sympathy fatigue, after all, how long is this supposed to go on? Reading everyone’s comment is soothing yet makes me sad. what’s going on?why does it feel like so many of the great writers on here are leaving? I’d like to believe this community of people on this site will continue to share their opinions and feelings, not only about bamzs but about all sorts of topics. This sounds cheesy, but I feel as if though I personally know so many of you through your entertaining and witty comments. Don’t cut yourselves off so quickly from this site and from your fans. I’ve honestly become a fan of the fans on here and would be greatly dissapointed to see so many of you leave or not to see your names here again. Maybe it’s the insomnia talking or me being an emotional being, but to those who are considering leaving, I hope that you will decide to come back soon.
It’s not just the pictures that makes this community an enjoyable experience, but the fans. I see many new people who are sharing their thoughts and I welcome them but to the people who have stuck it out for so long, don’t leave when it’s finally getting get so good. :( :oops:
Just wanted to say thanks Jared for the new pics from Cambodia! I am so inspired by the work that they are doing and, having travelled to the Island of Hispaniola and seen families living in abject poverty, they support a number of the same causes that I do :-)

What in the world could that poor excuse for a human being have had to say bad about Angie? Surely he wasnt saying she was controversial in 2006. And why is it that people who seem so unhappy in their lives, so miserable and unfulfilled, are the ones who seem to be the most critical? There are a lot of regular posters who have expressed their desire to mainly lurk and not post anymore because they have gotten tired of the vermin that infest the site — not as badly as dlisted or PerezHilton, but still depressing, especially at such times when we are rejoicing (such as during the red carpet walk). I mourn that too — also, I have been missing people like moi jade, the real tita, cycloneblondie and from way back when I first joined JustJared, I remember Elena and DolphinGirl. And Rica used to be a much more regular poster then too. But life happens, and for some, like Elena and Cindy2, they just couldn’t post anymore. Also, Tijen said goodbye … I feel sad that these folks whose postings amused and interested me have left.
However, there are always new and eager posters who flock here daily when they discover the BAMZS haven that JJared is. So I look forward to that despite my heavy heart. And for every annoying ritzygal there is, I find wonderful posters like Missouri Fan, or Amaya, or Leni … c’est la vie.

By the end of shoot was around March 2005, Brad and his X officially separated on Jan. 2005. there’s nothing inappropiate ! I agree they develop this strong bond while filming MMS. Brad was smitten, totally fascinated on Angelina. and are super good friend. but if Brad was in a fulfilled and happy marriage , I don’t think he would risk that much dumping that “tootsie” like x wife. 1)The Mr. & Mrs. Smith “shoot” went on for MORE THAN A YEAR dumbasses. The last scene shot was in late May of 2005.

What she should have done was to behave with dignity after her divorce, like: 1-concentrate on her acting to churn out awards winning movies or financial hits. If she had won an Oscar earlier this year, it would have been the best revenge. 2-do not comment on her divorce or her x, or at the most just say: we have parted but I wish Brad the best… 3-Shouldn’t have gone after VV. She was all over him in all the pics we saw early on. She only distanced herself from him after his appearance on Oprah, telling the whole nation that he hasn’t talked to her about kids, etc. People can see that love wasn’t there, just her ego. He must have some idea that she loves to read the tabs, and since B&A were in the tabs constantly because of the so-called “romance on the set” I’m thinking he dangled his “inside knowledge” and got some easy Anuston pus. Hey, after all, easy Anuston slept with Brad on their first date, everyone knows that. So VV knew he could get her without too much effort on his part.

I think Vince is a very funny guy in his movies and interviews. However, he might be a closeted sissy but I don’t think he’s a *****. He still seems like a guy’s guy. “The Silent Oath”. To answer your question, I choose the latter. I think Aniston wanted to learn as much as she could about the “goingson” after the tabs started showing pictures of Brad and Angelina on the cover and talking about the chemistry. The tabs at that time were already aware and reporting that something was wrong with Brad’s and ___’s marriage. This was before M & M Smith. The tabs seem to be watching the time Brad and ___ were spending apart and what they did. Reporting her going for Mexican food and drinks with friends in Calif. Reporting he’s on location. Sorta like Vince and ____. Looks like a pattern US Weekly picked-up on, hence starting the CLOCK of days apart.
You know I was just thinking how much I respect Angie’s position on parenting. I love the fact that she is determined to be as hands on as possible. Any mother’s on here? (I’m sure there are) How many can attest to how comforting it was to have a female friend when you went through some of those trials with your children? I can’t help but to wonder where will Ang get that solice from. Don’t get me wrong I KNOW that Brad is and will be there for her, but every now and again a sister companion is great.
I read one of the posted articles about Tomkat and it got me thinking about who in the insustry would be compatable as a companion for Ange. Anyone?

I have never been as entertained watching The View as I have been over the last few months. And I have ALWAYS loved The View. When I was between jobs, when this column was just a fledgling newsletter, when Star Jones was still a fortuitous feng shui fattie, The View was must-see-tv, in between Winsor Pilates and lunch, The View kept me sane. Which is why I was worried at first, that Rosie the Nice, the one who played bells and jingles and loved everyone on her own talk show, I was worried that that Rosie would show up.
Thank Goddess that Rosie disappeared up Tom Cruise’s ass, replaced now by the bulldyke we know and love, taking on an even bigger Queen known as Donald Trump, who blew his billionaire stack yesterday over comments she made on the show about his hypocritical “second chance” offering to Miss USA. Granted, she did play dirty, she did bring up the past infidelity, she questioned his standing as a “moral compass” considering the failures in his personal life, but by far the most injurious blow was the bankruptcy reminder.
Forget calling him a cheater and a “snake oil salesman”…what really galls a megalomaniac like Trump is the insult to his bank account. And a result, the very manly man Donald Trump threw a supersized hissy fit yesterday on Access Hollywood, calling Rosie fat, calling her ugly, telling her he’s going to sue, and warning her that he was going to have his henchman or henchwomen taken away her girlfriend because Rosie is, in his mind, too unattractive to hold on to a nice woman.
Let’s not bother discussing the Low Classy factor of his remark
