#6 is Jennifer Aniston
(article read) sorry Jen. The public support from your emotional trainwreck is used up. After all, “the split” was more than a year ago. So forgive us for not shedding a tear when you continually looked so glum in public and when you finally split with Vince Vaughn. After all, you wouldnt even admit that relationship in the first place. How annoying !

….Thank you too for it. She said they had a lovely time staying at Brads parents house for 5 days. I think it’s great Brad finally has a brood like his bro & sis to take to his parents.
******************
It must be such a treat to have a “brood” like theirs during this holiday season–the time of year when it’s all about the warm and fuzzy feelings of togetherness and generosity etc and this family is the embodiment of all that. It just makes me wonder how people can be so angry and judgmental during this time of year…what kind of person has the desire and energy at this time to channel into seeking out the hive of BAMZS champions (such as this site) and spewing out hate just for the sake of being nasty? *sigh*

i would love to see brad and his x wife in that morphing thing…..i dont know how they look like. hehehehe i mean with all those chin…..lolz

I like it here…so many BAMZS fans and MUCH less name calling against Ms. Jolie than other sites I’ve seen. I think I should come here more often…perhaps make myself at home :P

As much as i want to… BIT*H… Smack…. Larry King i am going to enjoy
him brown nosing Trump tonight, every time this Sucker wants to get on
a soap box/platform and let off some steam he call this A** Hole to vent.
DT will do all the talking and… LK will look at the notes assigned to him
adjust his teeth the best he can and try to remenber who and where he is,
to see these two Clowns do their Comic Relief act will be worthy of a bowl of popcorn and a cold beer.

All of this folks will be SWEET REVENGE for the smack down attempt on my Baby AJ.
Nothing better than hearing a fool defend himself!!!!

Okay Janet your kind of getting it - when I’m talking about Jolie’s hypocrisy, I see it as her being as you say, “judgemental high horse and preach to us.” ( Pretty sure my horse isn’t too high if I believe sh*t happens when it comes to who people fall in love with..)
Joile preaches one thing yet practices another. Anyone who knows me knows exactly how I was exactly like you, and no one could argue the point well enough that I wouldn’t defend Jolie. (And I was just as annoying as you) It’s changed because what she says and what she does doesn’t mesh. I just have a more balanced view now - hearing Jolie speak and then knowing her actions. It’s that simple. I’m still perfectly aware of the humanitarian activities and I think that’s incredible.
_________________________________________________________________

Oh, I doubt you’ve ever ever lifted a finger to defend her so don’t come here and pretend you have. Yeah, I may be annoying but I don’t give a damn if I annoy you when it comes to defending the JPs. When exactly has she preached one thing and done another? If you’re aware of the humanitarian activities that her fans are involved in, then why did you pose the question to us asking us if we do anything about it?

Thanks in advance for the recipe my dear. And you are right, especially when it was still warm….it’s like melted buttery/sugary heaven, I love them with Tea.

Jolie does have an impact as activist

http://www.forbes.com/businessinthebeltway/2006/06/14/celebrities-lobbyist-indecency-cz_ms_0614lobbyists.html

from Forbes magazine in June 2006

That high-paid celebrities, many of them donors to the Democratic Party, were able to persuade the Republican Congress that they shouldn’t have to reach into their Prada bags for saying naughty lines on-air is no small feat. But it underscores the success a new breed of celebrity lobbyist has been having in Washington. A growing number of performers are being taken seriously on lobbying issues unrelated to their profession.

Here are the five most notable celebrity lobbyists in the past year, according to Capitol Hill staffers, lobbyists and nonprofit officials who spoke to Forbes:

– Angelina Jolie’s crusade for the world’s less fortunate is moving Congress closer to committing 10% of total U.S. AIDS-relief funding for orphans under 18. Jolie, who D.C. insiders say was this past year’s “most effective activist” among movie stars, held private meetings with several powerful committee chairmen, including a testy one with staunch law-and-order conservative Rep. F. James Sensenbrenner, R-Wis., about the legal rights of unaccompanied alien minors.

Jolie is anything but a sheepish ’50s homemaker

Bob Thompson, National Post Published: Thursday, December 21, 2006

In the past few years Angelina Jolie has made Madonna look like a media recluse.

Two years ago, Jolie infamously hooked up with Brad Pitt, her married Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star, sparking daily Hollywood gossip mongering as well as is-she-or-isn’t-she-pregnant. Then last May, she had Brad’s baby, Shiloh, who joins the mixed-race family, including five-year-old — Maddox adopted from Cambodia — and six-month-old Ethiopian Zahara.

Then, in early October while shooting A Mighty Heart in India, three of Jolie’s bodyguards were arrested. But she finished the movie, playing the wife of Wall Street Journal correspondent Daniel Pearl, who was kidnapped and killed in Pakistan. Finally, last week during a TV interview, she admitted she is on the pill and hints that Brangelina may adopt another baby.

The Oscar-winner also has an acting career, which she seems to dabble in these days.

Her latest film, The Good Shepherd, is a thriller about the early years of the CIA, up to and including the disastrous CIA-sponsored Bay of Pigs invasion of communist Cuba. Opening tomorrow, the Robert De Niro-directed film has Jolie playing the 1950s wife of a secretive U.S. counter-intelligence official (Matt Damon) masterminding foreign plots.

But the passive 1950s type, Jolie is not. “So much was a study in restraint,” she says of her role. “I had to maintain a certain kind of composure, a quiet decency and just settle into that life. And that was very hard because everything instinctually in me is to do the opposite.”

The rejected, unloved wife part was a little easier for her, however. “Well, I do have two divorces behind me,” she says, smirking, but adding that she’s still friends with former husbands Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller.

Still, De Niro had to be convinced Jolie could play the subdued homemaker who struggles with demons but who, in the end, stands by her man. She managed to do just that, explaining to the director how she related to her character.

“I told him her love and her commitment to her son, and then the fear that her son may get involved in this kind of dangerous silent CIA world, was very personal for me as a mother,” she recalls.

A Mighty Heart is set for release next year. Also in her future, besides potential over-exposed media events, is the animated motion picture Kung Fu Panda, for which she voiced the character Tigress.

And recently, director Robert Rodriguez asked her to co-star in a sexy Sin City II.

“We’ve talked about it but I don’t think that the film is being made at this moment,” Jolie says. “I was pregnant at the time, and I was feeling very maternal, and it was this idea that I would be doing this sexy, violent and loud character.

I suddenly thought, ‘Well, maybe after I’m pregnant that’ll be nice to do.’ ”

It’s quite a mix — one that could also possibly include the lead in the movie version of Atlas Shrugged.

Variety is nothing new for Jolie, despite the new less-is-more approach to her career. She made the period piece Alexander and the stylized Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow in 2004 and starred as adventure actioneer Lara Croft in Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life and the more socially conscious Beyond Borders in 2003.

“I think that it’s important to just have fun and not take everything so seriously,” Jolie says. “I think there is big room for entertainment in this world. I?m just an actor and I’m supposed to just entertain and tell stories.”

She also manages quite a balancing act. There’s her movie career, her personal life as a mother and Pitt’s partner and her duties as Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, which takes her around the world.

“I plan obsessively,” she says. “And I’m very, very lucky. I love the different elements of my life. I love working abroad and I love being withy kids and I love being with Brad. So, this is the life I’ve chosen to have, and I’d like to add many more children and many more obstacles to it.”

That just may mean fewer films, but she understood that a few years ago.

“The thing that affects the big choice now is how long a film is shooting, because I don’t think that I’ve shot for more than seven weeks on a movie in two years,” she says. “I need to make sure I have time withy kids.” So is there a possibility of working with Pitt again, maybe a Mr. and Mrs. Smith sequel? “And who’s going to watch the children?” Jolie says grinning.

Okay, this is how it was. I see a post that I want to address, I address it. Scrolling down, I saw Cliniqua address Tabitha’s post. But mine has already been submitted. I don’t expect you to answer every one, true. But I wasn’t being redundant. It was a delayed transaction. Don’t flatter yourself, C. There’s always a good explanation for some things that happen here.

No. It was you not reading the thread to see if some other Republican had piped up and said, ‘Hey wait a minute,’ — but I guess you may have figured your numbers were small and that maybe no one else had addressed my comment…hopefully your numbers are small, and getting smaller all the time on and off this thread - either way, it’s been addressed. So you can drop it. I was being nice, but believe me it really wouldn’t take a whole lot of effort for me to not be friendly with someone who voted for George W. Bush. But I am TRYING to not let politics get in the way of a commonality. You can drop the attitude and try along with me. Or not. Just say the word.

excerpts from Vanity Fair magazine (September 2005) interview with Aniston

………….she (Jen) says, glum again. “We believe in different things, I guess. You can’t force a relationship, even if it’s your view of how you would like it to be conducted. Obviously two people leave a relationship because there’s a different thought pattern happening……

As for what went wrong, Aniston rejects any simplistic explanation. “It’s just complicated,” she says. “Relationships are complicated, whether they’re friendships or business relationships or parent relationships. I don’t think anybody in a marriage gets to a point where they feel like ‘We’ve got it!’ You’re two people continually evolving, and there will be times when those changes clash. There are all these levels of growth—and when you stop growing together, that’s when the problems happen.”

Friends say that it was always difficult for Aniston and Pitt to maintain the intimacy they craved while juggling their demanding work schedules, which often required long separations. Those tensions notwithstanding, Aniston believed her marriage was the real thing. “We both did,” she says.

So what happened? “I think—it changed,” she says haltingly. “We both changed.”
She sighs again. “You do the best you can, and I think we did. We did the best we could.”
Both of them? She looks me straight in the eye. “Both parties,” she says.

“I don’t think he started an affair physically, but I think he was attracted to her,” says Courteney Cox, who vacationed with her husband, David Arquette, and the Pitts on Anguilla just before they announced their separation. “There was a connection, and he was honest about that with Jen. Most of the time, when people are attracted to other people, they don’t tell. At least he was honest about it. It was an attraction that he fought for a period of time.”

“There’s a lot I would probably do differently,” she says. “I’d take more vacations—getting away from work, enjoying each other in different environments. But there was always something preventing it; either he was working or I was.”

WOW! Over 500 posts!!! Well, we know who rules on this site! Go Brad! Go Angie!!

The more I think about how Maniston let that go to print, the more I’m convinced she is EITHER….ruthlessly ambitious and just wants fame for fame’s sake and not legitimate respect in the industry…(so this was just a salvo to get her more coverage, and more press…)

OR…she’s just dumb.

I’m unsure to this day, which one it is. Of course it could still be both.

But that excerpt, sealed the deal on her ALWAYS being known as “The Woman who Would Be Dumped.”

Just from a self-respect and self-esteem issue, I would have thought knowing her background, she would have rejected THAT no matter how many covers she got for being the ‘dumpee.’ What self-respecting woman, wants to be known as the one that got left behind. Even the ‘revenge factor’ wouldn’t have made me wear that mantle. It’s just sad.

She HAS to be thinking…‘If only I had taken Brad’s advice - we would have wished each other well, said we had grown apart long before the MAMS shoot, and wanted different things, but we loved each other and wanted the best FOR each other.’ Sure, it would have been hard - but the payoff would be that she is not seen for all time, as the rejected loser & woman scorned of the Universe to the 10th power.

It’s sad…but she made her bed.

Jessica Simpson out of Parton tribute

NEW YORK — Unhappy with her second try at paying tribute to Dolly Parton for the “Kennedy Center Honors,” Jessica Simpson has pulled out of the show.

Simpson drew unwanted attention earlier this month when she flubbed the words to Parton’s “9 to 5″ during a taping of the annual show, grew flustered and fled the stage. Producers gave her a second chance at the song.

But after Simpson saw a tape, she requested the second attempt be pulled from the show, which airs Dec. 26 on CBS.

“She really wasn’t happy with her performance and she did want it to be perfect for Dolly, who she idolizes,” said Cindi Berger, a spokeswoman for Simpson.

Besides Parton, the Washington, D.C., tribute honors Andrew Lloyd Webber, Zubin Mehta, Smokey Robinson and Steven Spielberg. Caroline Kennedy is the host.

“We appreciate the time and energy Ms. Simpson put into this event and respect the high standards she has for herself and that of the Kennedy Center Honors,” said George Stevens Jr., show producer.
