Brad & Angelina’s Pictures in Cambodia
Here are some pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at MCCC (Maddox Chivan Children’s Center), a center in Cambodia named after their son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt. The MCCC provides a unique program of multidisciplinary care for Cambodian children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Also pictured below: Marie-Pierre Fernandez, director of the MCCC, and co-founder of the CHC (Cambodian Health Committee) Anne Goldfeld, and a child who currently attends the MCCC. You know what, I will be honest and say, I never looked at adoption in another way until I came across Angelina.
For some reason, she seems to take away the stigma that our society has about Adoption and make it such a noble thing to do.
you know the saying….
it takes a BIG HEART to love a child that aint your flesh and blood.
imo, Angelina does that so so well.

this country has institutions to help the destitute, to provide HIV/AIDS drugs to patients in need, and enough wealth of its own to solve its own problems, in addition to a functioning democracy to change the policies it does not like. The richest 2% of adults in the world own more than half of global household wealth according to a path-breaking study released today by the Helsinki-based World Institute for Development Economics Research of the United Nations University (UNU-WIDER).
The most comprehensive study of personal wealth ever undertaken also reports that the richest 1% of adults alone owned 40% of global assets in the year 2000, and that the richest 10% of adults accounted for 85% of the world total. In contrast, the bottom half of the world adult population owned barely 1% of global wealth.
Average wealth amounted to $144,000 per person in the USA in year 2000, and $181,000 in Japan. Lower down among countries with wealth data are India, with per capita assets of $1,100, and Indonesia with $1,400 per capita.
Although North America has only 6% of the world adult population, it accounts for 34% of household wealth. Europe and high income Asia-Pacific countries also own disproportionate amounts of wealth. In contrast, the overall share of wealth owned by people in Africa, China, India, and other lower income countries in Asia is considerably less than their population share, sometimes by a factor of more than ten.

You may think that you are not among the “wealthy” people mentioned in the study (the figures are adjusted globally) and if so consider this: if you are not that wealthy, can you imagine how poor the rest of the world?
Perhaps it is time to move from finger pointing to direct action by following examples.

Another OT: don’t go to that blacklisted blog site. The one run by MK. on the Angelina thread it’s just nasty.
Now you tell me. That site is full of haters. It is the same old things with those people. It amazes me how some blogs can misquote and sensationalize a story in order to get hits. That is why I like the positive vibe at JJ. People who come to this site cannot compare it to dlisted and other blogs where posters spew some of the nastiest comments. The people that post on those sites have some serious mental problems. I did not know that there were that many vile words in the dictionary. I love the fact that BP and AJ could care less about these blogs, tabs and racist bigots. They just continue to raise their multi-cultural children and live their lives. Some other celebrity could learn from them and not focus so much on public image, maintaining the “deer in the headlights” persona and just get on with their life. Fans come and go. The ones that are for you today will turn on you with the slightest miss-step.

I doubt Brad could trust Jennifer again after she stabbed him at the back with that VF interview???? Trust is important. It’s Jen and her PR camp that started this avanlache of pitting people to sides. Forgive and forget are two different things. One can forgive, but may be hard to forget. Brad doesnt love Aniston anymore. That’s for sure.

You said Brad still loves her. It depends how you define love. Brad is a nice man. He doesnt wish any ill will on her. But definitely NOT love her.
why does our society have such a stigma about adoption? why does a birth mother have an upper hand over an adopted mother. let say, two women have a baby - one is adopted and the other born. Now, I am of the view that all that matters - adopted or not - that both of these babies are raised well such that they go on to become responsible adults. In the grand scheme of things, shouldn’t the point not be how they came into this world but how they turn out?. Having said that, then why do some of us frown at adoption?does pushing a baby into this world gives a borth mother more rights and social adoration/preference? or is it something only a social anthropologist can answer?
why is our society bothered by helping non-americans? why must Brad and Angelina help only Americans? why shouldn’t they help non-americans?
why does our society critique/pick on people who choose to do things in their own way? you know those who don’t walk to the tune of everyone? lastly, why must everyone walk to the same tune!

that talk could mean anything. That talk could be about winding down on some business such as Plan B or the sale of the house. But of course, any conversation will also start with some courteous sentences, such as how’s everything etc

Solomon,after it was announced that Angelina was pregnant last Jan Jen’s rep said that was a lie.He was quoted as saying they didn’t talk at all and Brad didn’t tell he about the baby.I think yes they had to talk a few times about the divorce and the house sale,but do they talk now?h#ll no.

Thank you so much for the interview. I love Leonardo DiCaprio, but I’m glad he wasn’t able to do TGS. As I’m aware of the character of Clover, he would have worked in the husbands role if it were someone like Gwyneth Paltrow. I don’t think the sex would trump the story trying to be told about their home life like I think it would if it were Leonardo and Angelina.
Angelina Jolie talked about the characters having nothing in common, and made it clear that Clover is not only repressed, but that she and Matt’s character have no chemistry which I’m taking as “out of the bed/in the bed, and it’s a puzzlement to her how they got together. With the casting of Matt & Angelina I can see that being relayed more readily, but with Leonardo in the role? Naw. I know I probably wouldn’t be able NOT to find them distracting because I think that at least a sexual chemistry just based on them physical would be present for me at least.
Their story isn’t about love or passion or anything other than rules of the time (his profession/her as a woman married to a man married to his profession), and life lived in the dark with no way out, not romance, and I think it would have been hard for me not to go “ooohhh” if Leonardo was Clover’s man. JMHO

NO, NO, NO, NO, NO! Take your posts and sing your praises to X back to FF. I have rechecked this thread and no one mentioned of her until ‘possible’ shows up.
I have seen this **** for the past year. And I am tired of it. They come in as friends (I like Jen and Angie, t is possible ya know). And then a good BAMZS fan will wish them good well and try to explain (since April 2005) and then all hell breaks loose. See, we can never let our guard down.
So get lost…go back to dlisted, mk site, perez, and the all the other nasty sites where you congregate and sing your hymnal there.
