Brad & Angelina’s Pictures in Cambodia
Here are some pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at MCCC (Maddox Chivan Children’s Center), a center in Cambodia named after their son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt. The MCCC provides a unique program of multidisciplinary care for Cambodian children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Also pictured below: Marie-Pierre Fernandez, director of the MCCC, and co-founder of the CHC (Cambodian Health Committee) Anne Goldfeld, and a child who currently attends the MCCC. In my life of work (Foreign policy) its hard not to feel jaded, and think that people no longer care, and have an interest in the worlds economic state, but your post reaffirms that the work that we do is important, and its imperative to shine a light on the misfortunes of 60% of the worlds populous.

adoption has a stigma because of the idea that the child wasn’t wanted by its birth parents. also, many people who adopt do so because they are unable to have biological children. so narrow-minded people have the idea that there’s something wrong with all parties involved. will this change? i don’t know, but i’ve noticed that many people have become a lot more open and accepting of adoption lately.
as for helping non-americans. there’s a saying that “charity begins at home”. as in, you should help your own before you help anyone else. it doesn’t matter that the outsider may be needier than your needy person. it’s all about isolationism. matter of fact, i’m going to look up the origin of that idiom. something tells me it came out of the depression…

I can not believe that bad hair trump is acting like this. See just because you are rich does not mean you have character or class. I am so embarrassed for his wife and wives. I bet he is something else to live with. Why did he lash out a Rosie like that? I am not fan of her by no stretch of the imagination but come on. He has serious issues. I think he getting a little senile and thinks he is picking a fight with another woman ie. Martha Steward. But lets just keep it real for a moment - Rosie is not the girl in the relationship.

Scarborough Country had two women on, one from OK magazine and one from US magazine. Joe asked if Angelina and Brad were going to quit work so they could do their charity work. The women collectively said probably when they were 70 or 80. He said they haven’t done real well with their moviies lately, have they? They said the buzz on TGS indicated that might be a hit…it is getting Oscar buzz.
However, they did not mention the GG nomination of BABEL.

My personal opinion is the TGS is D.O.A. It has no GG noms and mixed reviews. Rocky Balboa might beat it Fri-Sun.
I saw TGS and it TOO long, slow moving and tedious which I guess is the same thing. The word of mouth won’t be great.

I would be curious to see the chemistry between Leo & Angelina but some diehard Ayn Rand fans are already pouting like children that Angelina is Dagny, if Leo got Gault I think they would all jump out of a window LOL!!. It’s not a bad idea, you know, you would never think to cast him.
Gosh how many more days until Janualry 15th? That’s when the GG airs but i would be more intersted in the pre-show where they show the arrivals. I’m already cringing at the thought of Joan Rivers. I know the board will be a little more quiet until then. But I can’t imagine how all blog boards & entertainment news will blow up on that night. Something to look forward to.

Why do they say that, when M&MS made almost half a billion dollars worldwide, and Babel already recouped its budget. TGS has not come out yet, and it is NOT an Angelina movie, it is a Robert DeNiro/Matt Damon movie, Angelina just played a supporting role. Boy, that Scarborough character is really something … anything to just dis Brad and Angelina.

what about MMS? That didn’t do too well eh? And they are totally ignorant about film because they would have mentioned Inarritu & the nomination for each major supporting actor in BABEL These people are about gossip, nothing else. It’s like films are not an option for discussion with these tabs. How can you have strangers on talk about people they don’teven know? How can they even guess? Unless you have breaking legit news, they should all just STFU (exuse my blue language).

I have never figured out if it’s Angelina he wants to sleep with or Brad (or both). He’s got a serious thing for them, but it’s posing as dislike and some buy it but I don’t. He dost protest to much MUCH to often if you ask me.

I am a development/household economist, so I follow UN’s work closely, mostly because of MDGs, since poverty and intra-household power allocation are my main areas. I think at some point I may venture into an NGO, so many problems with so little resources. I am frustrated now and then about the same issue you raised, but I am glad to see JPs seriously highlighting the issues that need to be understood.

AG, I really loved your description of African weddings and marriages in the previous thread, I thought about adding weddings and marriages from my culture but once again I was behind a deadline, which incidentally is done, finished and sent for good 20 minutes ago.
