Good Evening all!African girl,I really hope Oprah doesn’t go there.I agree with lurker I’m sick of talking about X and we need to ignore the trouble makers.Us Weekly and Jance Min are working my last nerve with this triangle sh#t.I am finding no enjoyment what-so ever from it.(even if they bash you know who)I’m just sick of it!I’m really proud of Angelina and Brad.They have such kind hearts to help hiv infected childern.Maddox should be so proud of his parents.

Because a lot of americans are so arrogant and narcissistic - we tend to think that we are special group of people and that we are the only one entitled, somehow the luxury of living a good life - everyone else outside our borders are just second citizens. We, Americans are convinced that somehow, we are the only deserving group of people who “should” be strong, healthy and rich, educated, powerful, and has to be a leader, who can dictate how the world should be - everyone else can just be a follower.

Some people believe that Brad and Angelina should adopt american babies first - again, the sense of entitlement, as if somehow, babies oversees are less deserving to have a decent life (perhaps less human with lesser rights to live) - A stunning and disturbing reality, of our lack of basic moral values.

Unfortunately and ironically, it is the religiousity of this country, that makes a lot of americans arrogant. The idea that somehow they have a better relationship with God or God favors them over everyone else who are non-beleivers (because they have memorized and follow every doctrine in the bible) is just ridiculous.

America is a religious country, in which humility and compassion is a rare commodity..

I would be curious to see the chemistry between Leo & Angelina but some diehard Ayn Rand fans are already pouting like children that Angelina is Dagny, if Leo got Gault I think they would all jump out of a window LOL!!. It’s not a bad idea, you know, you would never think to cast him.

Gosh how many more days until Janualry 15th? That’s when the GG airs but i would be more intersted in the pre-show where they show the arrivals. I’m already cringing at the thought of Joan Rivers. I know the board will be a little more quiet until then. But I can’t imagine how all blog boards & entertainment news will blow up on that night. Something to look forward to.

I will also retreat a little, like a couple of other regulars, to lurking mode until then.

Oh let their asses pout! I think Ayn Rand would be thrilled for AJ to be in the role. IIn truth, it’s been ages since I read AS, but I’m determined to fix that one before long, but my main reason for thinking she’d be great is seriously elementary. She wants to do it. She’s never given me the impression that she’s a vain actor who’ll go after a role she knows isn’t right no matter how much she may like the story being told.

My next is because I love Patricia Neal. Angelina Jolie reminds me of Patricia Neal, PN portrayed Dominique Francon in THE FOUNTAINHEAD, and of course that was written by Ayn Rand, and there you go lol.

Leonardo? He’s just the first person who came to me. I go back to the FOUNTAINHEAD, and Gary Cooper, and I see that same masculine/vulnerablity dichotomy in Leonardo. Plus the physical description given if I remember was tall, blond, blue eyed. I’ve tried to come up with an alternative but no one ever pops up on my screen.

About adoption, as a foster mom I can see and have seen how people work on this. Personally, for me, I do not want to hear how good I am or how it is so hard to love someone elses kids.
It is actually the other way around. Displaced children are the good people, they are in circumstances that are beyond their control. It is so easy to fall in love with these children, whether you have children you bore or not (I do). I have a hard time wondering how, if anyone actually took the time to meet these lovely children, they could not love them.
Love is not just about “blood family”, you grow up, find someone not of your blood and love them, why not with children as well?
Where they come from does not matter at all. Most of us at some point in our own history have come from “somewhere else”.
We need to be more humble, all look past whatever borders we are in and realize this is one whole world. If we do not look after each and everyone in it who will?
Unless you walk the walk (or even look at the path) don’t try to talk the talk.

With respect to the “triange”. I am first and foremost a fan of AJ and family. I hold no ill will of Jen. I would hope given time they can all talk, if not that is ok too, really when it comes down to it, who cares? It is none of our business. I recall that they all try to thwart the press, with good reason, so unless it comes from their mouths I won’t believe, and even then I will chose what seems right as it is none of our business and they do not have to bare their souls to us.
Just my opinion though.

I love BAMZS. You can tell Brad and Angelina love each other very much. It is
great to see Brad so happy and content.Something I have not seen before,not like this.I hope they are in this relationship for the long haul. I can not see them being apart now. They have this beautiful little family,which I enjoy seeing. Wish them

I love the pictures. I’m learning more and more from this family and the causes they are supporting. I didn’t know that Cambodia had the same mayor problem of HIV/AIDS children victims in the same percentage as in Africa. Angelina is doing a great job by starting this organisation on the behalf of Madd’s name. I love the fact that they are really hands on in everything they do and they are spending actual TIME and MONEY on their efforts to help those who really need their help. And I love that they don’t losing an opportunity give light and attention to these wonderful programs and the work they are doing even if they are on filming a movie or just travel along such as India and Cambodia. And Brad has already been in all of the places their children came from.

Your post made me think of Maddox, and wondering what’s on his mind since the trip there. Both he and Zahara seem to be so observant of their surroundings. It goes without saying that they’ve been more places and seen more in their short lives than many ever will, but with Maddox, he’s old enough to take in that his clothing is different, and the homes he lives in are different, and that he fly’s in planes and is followed by all these people. I wonder about his seeing the place he was born, and wonder if he has any sense of being the same physically, but living a life very different than those children. I know his parents are the type that talk to him about things and I just imagine he’s been full of so many questions. Those kids are going to do good and great things.
