Angelina Jolie Kills it at Kitson
Celebrity Babylon has some great pictures of Angelina Jolie shopping at Kitson in L.A. yesterday afternoon. Angie was driven to the nearby hotel L’Ermitage where her mother Marcheline Betrand currently resides.
Other pictures include the future Mrs. Pitt in L.A. dressed in a $415 Joseph Alpaca cardigan and a $1,750 Celine Bittersweet bag on Dec. 13.

I was shocked flipping through Life & Style (cover has Katie Holmes Preg Again?), I saw the most gorgeous full length two page spread of Brad and Angelina on the red carpet from the premiere — (seriously, you can see them from their shoes on the red carpet to the ceiling) and the story was…get this…POSITIVE (gasp! thud!) — well, of course I just had to buy it to reward L&S for their good deed, and also because the pics were gorgeous.
My scanner isn’t hooked up right now…hopefully Sammie will have these soon on her site.
But here are the captions, and the headings…you’ll swoon….it reads:

1st big pic - THEY’RE SNUGGLING CLOSE When Angie, 31, and Brad 43, finally made their first red carpet debut at the Dec 11, premiere of her flick ‘The Good Shepherd’, they went all out. (His jacket lining even matched her dress!) “His foot is positioned towards her which is a sign of committement,” says body language expert Ray McGraime.
2nd big pic- BRAD’S BEING PROTECTIVE “Angie’s clutching at her dress, which is a sign of nervousness,” says McGraime. “But she leans on Brad for support.” When asked, “Are you proud of Angelina?” he replied, “Very much so!”

But adopting is just as likely. They love their kids, and they keep saying they want more, more, more!”

Question for the loyal BAMZSers: Didn’t I read (more than a year ago now) that the W Mag spread was going to be made into a photo book? Am I remembering wrong? If not, does anyone have any insight into who’s publishing it and when??

I don’t think it is demeaning or a slight to Angelina, quite the contrary. They find her larger than life, so a fearless cartoonish heroine is just the ticket. And Lara was the Superman of our generation.

Thanks Gussie - I like your take and perspective on that.
The NY Times reporter called her “a force of nature” which I do not think is a bad thing. From the tone I felt he thought she should not be relegated to parts where that strength must be controlled. She should be playing leading roles where that force of nature is evident. That’s why I thought she was perfect to play Mariane Pearl, another woman of enormous strength.

Oh last night one of my closest friend from up north was down here for a seminar, he came over for dinner, we were talking about life and work…any how, he said to me ” in my next life time, I want to be Angelina Jolie or someone like her…beautiful, smart, sexy and love by everyone….” I was almost falling down laughing so hard. I told him that he has Brad’s envious syndrome.

Saw the first showing of TGS. Was ½ full which is strange for a Friday and during work hours! Yes, like Babel, its an older thinking crowd. Mostly guys by the way because its CIA, security stuff. I was happy with the movie and I love seeing Angie on the big screen and her range as an actress. Don’t want to put out any spoilers as I know a lot haven’t seen it as yet. Please go see. It’s worth the price.

you are correct on the information, but I don’t think the photographer ever publish the picture.
I am glad she isn’t hiding anymore. People complained when she wasn’t seen and the same people will complain and criticize when she is. They are just addicted to complaining so I say great for her going out and living HER life.
Thanks for all the reviews of TGS. Will definitely see it this weekend. Matt Damon and Angelina Jolie are both good actors.

Cliniqua and Grandma. I sort of DID find a way to remain a student…unfortunately, High School, but, I am amazed at how much more I learn this time around! I’m a teaching assistant. That means I accompany handicapped students (lots of ADHD around here) to their classes, take notes, read to them if they have a reading handicap, and report back to their resource teachers what they need to work on. Of course, it gets old after the 4th or 5th year, still, there’s usually something my brain didn’t retain the first few times around. I never had Earth Science in High School - you should have seen me in that class! I asked many more questions than the kids, and I was SO psyched about it all! :lol: I still suck at biochem too! :lol:
I think she looks lovely in these pictures. You can tell she is in a good place in her life. Something I wish for everyone.
I think Angie has given a great opportunity to many people, to examine their prejudices, and throw away those that have no realistic basis:
There is no law anywhere that says that someone who is awfully good-looking, famous, sexual and sensual, wealthy, and somewhat eccentric, cannot also be a loving, giving person, with ethics and morals. It makes no sense. This is where Angie and Brad fit.
There is a perception that someone who has more ordinary, less threatening looks, appears modest (mainly by dress), and does nothing out of the ordinary, is a person more likely to be loving, giving, with ethics and morals. this also makes no sense.
However, there is a large number of wife-swappers and swingers (just as an example) who are pillars of their community, and look like the typical mom and dad. They sure have no tatoos! And the most customers call-girls have, are again pillars of their community.
But, they all do their dirty deeds in secret.
Personally, I think Angie is more moral and ethical than the typical “good girl” who marries a man for his money and status, essentially deceiving the man with her “I love you”. Yet people are so used to this deception, they’d hardly ever call that “good girl” a *********.
Love these pictures. Hope to see more of the family soon. THey have nothing to be ashamed or in hiding over.
