Angelina Jolie Kills it at Kitson
Celebrity Babylon has some great pictures of Angelina Jolie shopping at Kitson in L.A. yesterday afternoon. Angie was driven to the nearby hotel L’Ermitage where her mother Marcheline Betrand currently resides.
Other pictures include the future Mrs. Pitt in L.A. dressed in a $415 Joseph Alpaca cardigan and a $1,750 Celine Bittersweet bag on Dec. 13.
HEY YOU :: Will you be seeing The Good Shepherd tonight?

My guyfriend Zane, he loves the Jolie-Pitts, although he was an Angelina fan first. What struck about him is, he said that Angie did “The honorable thing by adopting first because there are so many kids in this world that need a home.” That’s the first time I’ve heard that come from a guy. Now don’t get me wrong, he’s not against those who choose to have children biologically because he has friends that are parents, but I think what he said was similar to what Angie said during her GMA interview. There’s a very extensive procedure when it comes to adoption but any woman can get pregnant.
He doesn’t really keep up w/ gossip as much as I do lol but during 2005 he told me, “Ya know, I never believed the whole cheating rumor because anyone can see that they were having trouble way before he even met Angelina. And, since I’ve married and divorced (once) I know that some marriages just fall apart. I have nothing against Jennifer but her and her people need to stop trying to “one up” Brad and Angie in the gossip columns”
My reaction?
“I love you man.”
I am always hesitant to write on here. I don’t know anything about celebrities or Hollywood. I have a goal to learn as much about everything as I can. I took the name Grandma not because I am old and am a grandma which I am but because of my own grandma. When she was 81, she went back to college to learn Spanish because she wanted to read all of the wonderful writers in their native language. There always seems to be so many knowledgable people here so I camped for awhile. I have so much to learn and so little time. Hopefully heaven is like a university!
I will go see TGS because I just love Matt and like Angie.
I don’t loke that dress but she is beautiful as always.

Hiya OC….You are the busy bee, aren’t you? I wish i could claim that I’m almost done. I should be shopping right now but I’m kinda procrastinating. I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it but I HATE SHOPPING. I will do anything…anything to avoid shopping. I can’t understand how anyone enjoys walking from store to store, standing in line, logging bags and bags in the cold. What is up with that? I tell ya…some really strange behavior that’s is considered normal. I guess since I have no choice…I should get going. Oh…by the way, If you hear the news of an African Girl screaming “NO MORE” before jumping in the lake with tons shopping bags…that would be me.

I have, I bought two yesterday… downtown Toronto.
Thanks for the new pictures. Angelina looks great, I love the all white one. I think Angelina has the most radiant smile. When she smiles she looks so very young. She is so gorgeous.
I still have not found the Angelina Vogue although it comes as no surprise since I live right smack in the middle of nowhere. Babel has not even been shown within a 100 miles of me. My son who lives in actual civilization is going to try to get me a Vogue.
I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all of you who post the links and the interesting articles from other places. I really appreciate you guys doing that, otherwise I might never see them.
Grandma–Nah, we’re not knowledgeable–we all just love BAMSZ.
love the pic of her smiling. always nice to see… btw, i really don’t think she is pregnant, despite all the rumors.
The NY Times gave it a good review - here’s Angie’s part….once again, as these critics have a habit of doing with Angie, they confuse the character with the real life woman playing the part - it’s quite bizarre, and says a lot about the psychology of us (collective)..that some people aren’t able to NOT see her as a ‘force of nature,’ especially when she plays a woman that’s not so well, even they admit. Odd. Read on….
EXCERPT: Whatever its true nature, the friendship hurt Mr. Angleton’s marriage, as he later admitted: “Once I met Philby, the world of intelligence that had once interested me consumed me. The home life that had seemed so important faded in importance.”
That spells trouble for Ms. Jolie, alas, who after her spectacular entrance has to spend most of the film as the aggrieved, abandoned wife. It is not a good fit. A force of nature, Ms. Jolie reads more believably when she’s running through the jungle in boots and a bikini, as she does in the “Tomb Raider” flicks, than when standing on the sidelines in a domestic nightmare. But stand and screech and gamely slosh the booze she does while Mr. Damon’s spy helps win the war and later helps turn the C.I.A. into a shadow empire with some dependable character actors: Mr. De Niro as one of the agency’s founders, the dependably great Alec Baldwin as an F.B.I. agent and an equally fine William Hurt as the pipe-smoking head of the C.I.A.
——————————————-
Anyone else find it odd to, how some people don’t hesitate to fall back on ‘Tombraider,’ which everyone knows is a video game character, one that AJ embued with much life true, but a game babe nonetheless - you would have thought they would at LEAST reference Jane Smith from ‘Mr and Mrs Smith, since that film was huge around the world, and she was excellent in it, even showing up Brad frequently in the reviews….the film and her performance is destined to become iconic, so you’d think they’d use THAT as an example of a ‘force of nature’ role she excelled at…but they go back 5 years to TombRaider? Am I reading too much into this? Or are there others who also see it as a way to demean her career and body of work by harkening back to a movie and part based on a video game, that’s a good 5-6 years old?

Good luck braving the shopping today and this weekend…you’re a braver soul than me. Next year, you should take my cowardly way out and order everything online. Of course be forewarned that like me, you may incur the wrath of the UPS/FeDEx/USPS people who are tired of stacking heavy or bulky boxes on my doorstep.
Hey AG, happy holidays to you.
I used to tell my mum, if God want us to cook why most of the chef are men?…she came back…because most of the men steal their mother’s recipes to make a profit, while the women just passed it on to their daughters to get a husband………So I promised her that I will learn how to cook to get a man…( *wicked sense of humor*) …..she said no….just find one that knows how to cook…. ( wth was that all about)….twisted our psyche our mum…*sighed* she’s killing me. ( that woman can’t cook a pot of soup, but she sure know how to get the men and have them cook for her).

Beautiful post grandma! I hope the same thing. I was a terminal student for a while in my life, meaning I just couldn’t leave college, lolol…if I could find a job where I was in a classroom all day, learning - I’d take it. I’ve even contemplated going back to school as I miss it so much. Have you ever thought of doing something like that?

Well, they did the same for Robert De Niro, they’ve always compare him to the Godfather’s character or worst the character in the movie ” The Taxis Driver”. In real life, he’s a shy, quiet and very sweet person.

I don’t know if he would lol Besides, work has been keeping him very busy which is good and bad. Obviously he’s getting more money but since he’s out on the road it gives him a lot of alone time which has made it hard for him to quit smoking.
But he did say this when her and Brad were at the world economic forum and I blogged about it.
Thank god for my update that I have been waiting so patiently for! Allegedly, she is amazingly beautiful as a pregnant woman! Cheers to setting the bar high for Hollywood power couples!
He jokingly said allegedly because I wrote “Allegedly she is due….” :)
Amaya,
Thanks for the off topic regarding Zane. Can you share Zane with us.

I don’t think it is demeaning or a slight to Angelina, quite the contrary. They find her larger than life, so a fearless cartoonish heroine is just the ticket. And Lara was the Superman of our generation.
CCCC and Ariel - Torontonians :-)
Funny Story - got mine at the Gateway Newspaper store in BCE Place where the guys and women KNOW me by now….
went there every other day.
Also bugged the folks at Chapters in Commerce Court.

Elena!!!! Hi!!! How are you lady?
Thank you Jared, as always you rock baby!
Just saw “The Good Shepherd” i is an amazing film. didn’t think that I would like it, but I actually love it. It’s very suspensful in a low key kind of way. Though it isn’t a fast pace movie, it moves steadily. You’re constantly wondering? I enjoyed it. Angelina did an excellent job. She glides smoothly between “the bold Angie” and this new meek and somewhat docile character. Matt is amazing, after seeing it, I don’t understand why he didn’t get a nomination. The little boy who plays their son is also great. His expressions alone are worth an “oscar” nod.
Go and see it guys, you’ll like it. Just don’t expect loud “BANGS AND FIREWORKS” its not that kind of movie. It’s a thinking man’s movie. There are a lot of “read between the lines” moments and statements that seem to almost shadow today’s US government.
Two thumbs up! Great film.
Hey there….

My “Zane” doesn’t have the foggiest notion who JA is. Most European guys don’t, you know, and the women do but only as B’s ex. My “Zane” is a Jolie fan, of course, as all the men I know are. As for Brad, most of them just use the slightly envious “that lucky b a s t a r d”. :)
Saw TGS this morning at the 11am show….the 1145 show was sold out when I purchased my ticket. The showing I went to was packed but was not sold out. This movie appeals to the older thinking crowd, judging by the folks that were at my showing.
.
The movie is long but it is haunting in the same way that Babel made you think way after you have left the movie theatre. It tears at you in some parts and one part for me was absolutely heartbreaking. Our girl Angelina is so different in this role…..and Matt Damon is really intense. I’d like to see Angie take on a wide range of roles and I think she will “mix it up” like she said on Larry King. Yhe the reviewers would not keep “boxing” up into one type of genre…….
