Australia seems to be the destination of choice for Hollywood this Christmas season! Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman are also spending Christmas down under. They were spotted filming Baz Luhrmann’s new drama Australia at Camelot, a historic mansion at Camden on Sydney’s outskirts.
A source on the set said: “Nicole and Hugh were both here. They were both very nice, very charming. Nicole is a very beautiful, friendly lady and Hugh was great. He sat down with the owner and had a chat with him for about an hour.”
And here’s a quick synopsis of Australia, out in 2008:
Set in northern Australia before World War II, an English aristocrat (Kidman) who inherits a sprawling ranch reluctantly pacts with a cattle driver (Jackman) in order to protect her new property from a takeover plot. As the pair drive 2,000 head of cattle over unforgiving landscape, they experience the bombing of Darwin, Australia, by Japanese forces firsthand.

MAybe Tom got residential custody of the kids because they always seem to be with him and Katie. They were at Nicole’s wedding and that’s about it. Plus they go to school in L.A. and Nicole lives in NAshville…when she is home and not on a set. With Keith Urban’s drug problem, Mr. Clean Living Cruise will probably not even allow them to visit now.
I agree with Jillian.Why did she ever get married again? No wonder KU ended up in rehab.She sure isn’t the type to let her children or her husband keep her at home.
Nicole does spend time with her children but she’s not a media ***** like Tom by exploiting the kids to his own benefit. That’s one thing Nicole has always hated I read. She wants the children out of the spotlight. Even Katie’s birthday last week was a big photo-op by having Nicole’s children with Katie.

Capri explain this: Earlier this month, Bella was in a soccer game. Tom and Katie were there(as usual), BUT Nicole and Keith were a few miles away, shopping for shoes in Beverly Hills.
Tom does not seek out pr, he is at all of his children’s games, to support his
children, on the other hand Nicole is NEVER there, this why you never see her pics at those games, she never goes. If she were to go, the paparazzi would would be snapping pic of her too. So don’t blame Tom and Katie that the paps are snapping their pics, they are there to support Bella and Connor.
Capri, you call Tom a media ***** because he goes to his children athletic events? You sound ridiculous. The man is a good father, and Katie is a good step-mom, they are not seeking publicity, they are supporting their children, something Nicole is lacking in, she was shopping for shoes, with Keith, while her childs game was going, BUT Tom and Katie were right there at that game cheering for Bella.

Can you claim good mother? No, you can’t. And that is the most important of all. Being a good mother is more important than being a good actress.
Can you imagine the media circus if Nicole attended the kids athletic events along with the ex and his new magic Mrs? I guess NK could always rock baby Suri’s pram while Tom and Katie hop up and down on the sideline together…
Tom began to expose Connor and Bella after the bizarre show that he did. Before this he rarely appeared with the children in public.
