Kind of off topic: Has anyone caught that show on style where Jay from Top model and few other people makeover a normal person to look like their favorite celebrity? There was an episode where they made over an Angie fan, she was cute but she didn’t really look like her after they made her over. That being said, tvguide had their own version of the show and their “Angie” was unbelievable. She could have been her little sister.

Lol! Good thing Mick is a Brit, and this wasn’t 3yrs ago or else he’d be the 4th Dixie Chick after saying that one. I worked once with a gentleman who grew up with Bill in Arkansas. The guy’s grandmother lived down the street from Bill, and that’s how they became friends. He said he’s really a goodhearted guy who also had a charm that was hard to resist, and that he didn’t let the racial climate of those times, or the fact that they were in the south stop him from being friends with this guy who is black. I think Bill got hit with the reality of who he had by his side when his life was threatend by heart disease, and he had the major surgery. I believe that’s when he came to his senses.

I agree with you. My best friend is built just like Angelina even down to the walk, and even after two children she’s thinner than she was before having them. We eat pretty much the same in that we don’t snack much, we dont eat without being truly hungry, and we stop when we’re full, the difference with us is she has a faster metab than I. She’s 5/7, I’m 5′6 1/2 and I’m probably 15-18lbs heavier always. In France Angelina is quite normal bodywise, and also in a few other parts of the world, but America for some reason thinks that if you’re such and such size, then you’ve got food issues. I LOVE food! but I’m also a believer in moderation, and not goint overboard.

Of the speculation in the British press about her having an eating disorder, she said, “I don’t really care all that much. We live in Spain. I don’t really see a lot of the press, and I don’t really hear what’s going on. I’m just past caring.”

Still, she says, “I think there’s a big difference between someone having an eating disorder and someone who is controlled about what they eat. There’s a big difference, and every now and then of course I go out and eat what I like. But I do try to be quite disciplined in the way that I eat.”

Beckham, who’s 32 and has three sons (Brooklyn, 7; Romeo, 4; and Cruz, 1) with English footballer David Beckham, 31, also weighed in on the skinny models debate, saying: “What is a double zero? I don’t even know what size a double zero is! ? I think models are thin, that’s the way that it is.

“All of the girls – I know quite a few models and they actually eat, they’re just naturally thin girls. And just because you’re thin it doesn’t mean you have an eating disorder. What is more of a concern is the age of the girls. Some of the girls on the catwalk are 13 years old and that is more worrying to me than the size of the girl, to be honest.”

Beckham, who also said there wouldn’t be a Spice Girls reunion, has faced questions about her appearance in the past couple of years. But friends have told PEOPLE she “eats healthily” – yet, “she doesn’t exercise at all.”

I think she looks like she is starting to gain a little. She did however become very small last year aroung starting to film TGS. I think this was preparing for the role. Then she got pregnant a gain a little. Then she had to lose to play the role MP for AMH again stating the fact that MP was a slender woman while pregnant according to her boon. Now Angie is looking a little heavier than she did when they were in India. What so amazing is that people seem to criticize her not even knowing whats going on in her life. She herself stated last year that her fans would be suprised at her appearance in TGS because of her character being an alcoholic and how she would appear in some scenes.

Brad and Angie just seem to do everything together. They show interest in the other’s passions. It’s true Angie would never go to this exhibit if Brad didn’t want to, but I can bet she was more than willing to go and be open-minded. She’s probably learning alot about arcitecture by osmosis. I keep thinking about what the lady that runs Fallingwater said went on in the car ride up there….Brad was explaining architectural terms to Angie and she was very interested in what he had to say, sharing his love for it, not merely tolerating it. That’s what being a good partner is all about.

It’s like how most of us ladies go with our husbands to Home Depot and stand around for an hour trying not to look bored while they shop for tools……only way better, haha!!

God… I would like to travel like them !!! One day India, the other Costa Rica, next Panama, etc, etc wherever they want to got they go…that´s great !!! What a wonderful life.

Both Brad and Angie are artists. They love art in every sense but I think we where basicaly commenting about architecture, not art in general. :)

I’m so glad to see the both of them looking relaxed and happy. It must feel wonderful to get away from the prying press (much to my chagrin, since I am one of the many that checks blogs daily for any news on the couple), and to celebrate the holidays in a new and different place!!! I think that she looks so happy, and looks quite healthy to me!!

Wow, Angie can look great just wearing a simple white tank top, white pants, and black flip-flops. I’m so jealous!! She always looks stylish no matter what! And Brad…mmm…mmm…good.

See, it happens everytime I get ready to leave. I think Angelina would very much go to an exhibit on her own. She did more than once while they were in France remember? She and Holly went to some photog’s openining, and she would take Maddox to the musems. Or are you speaking specifically about Architecture? You’re probably very correct on that tip. Btw, I’m weird, I LOVE hardware stores lol. I’m so serious, In HS I took industrial arts instead of home economics even though I like to cook. I could walk around HOME DEPOT for HOUR’S!

Oh yah, I think she does enjoy art and galleries very much and would do that on her own and even initiate a trip and bring Brad along, but this seems pretty hardcore F. Gehry….like something only people in the field would truly appreciate. I think Angie went because she loves her man and wants to be interested and knowledgable about the things that stimulate his brain. That’s a sign of real love and committtment, IMO.

As for hardware stores, well…. I have grown to love them, as my husband looks upon a trip to one with equal excitement as a 5 year-old going to ToysRus! haha!! I have logged many an hour gazing upon table saws and drill bits….and consequently have learned alot. But by the same token, my sweet hubby has also spent many an hour in art supply stores and fabric stores standing around indulging me…..he just loves me that way, I guess. And I can tell you, it sure is nice to have someone love you that much! Go Brad and Angie!

I like going to hardware stores as well. In my household, I am the one who puts together computer and home theater systems. I have put together gas barbeque grills , etc. My husband and i have done minor plumbing repairs. One thing we won’t mess with is anything electrical. We would much rather pay a electrician.

LOL!!! Welcome to the club! I don’t do plumbing/electrical, but I’m good ta go on the rest. I remember when I was 9 I traded my math book for a tape measure to a boy name Roget Dubois (so cute!). My heart is beating fast just thinking about it LOL. Of course my mother punished me and made me right my wrong. My parents were thinking, “why would a girl want a retractable tape measure? Well I was thinking “what the hell would anyone want with a math book?!”

See, that’s how you work it. Compromise. I think the dif with Brad’s past/present is that “maybe Angie doesn’t get into it herself, but she loves that HE has a passion for it. It probably blows his chest up & out that he’s got a woman who listens to him go on about Gehry, Nouvel, Wright, and who’s interested because the subject interests him, and she remembers things like “he’s never been to Falling Water” and takes him there for his birthday.

p.s….I just finished watching a mini-marathon of the “patriarch Brad said he could get behind” RUN’S HOUSE, and I can see the Jolie-Pitt’s so much like this its not funny. If anyone has ever seen the show (I love it), they have to know what I’m talking about.

Huge Angie fan from way back. Brad is cool too, glad he jumped on board. I have to say, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Angie thinner than she is now. That pic whee she is in profile, she has a little tummy roundness, but I think that is her posture arching her back. her arms and her neck, there is NO exta skin on her neck!

I usually love the thin actresses and strive to be like them (far from it) but I really think she needs to gain 5 to 10. I’m starting to get worried :-( She is taking on too much maybe? DOn’t they ever get tired with all the jet lag, kids, movie making, packing, media, and they still have energy to go to museums??? I would need a nap for sure!

I went to see Charlotte’s Web today, the film was cute, but I swear never to go to a kids’ movie again on the first few weeks of release. The room was full of kids, and one of them filled their pants, or diapers mid way thru the film. The whole corner stung so bad, I had to walk out. Ojpf, now I know what you meant by only going to the movies when there’s no crowd, to have the whole room to yourself. The afternoon wasn’t wasted though, I saw Dream Girls instead. Very good movie. Jennifer Hudson was great. I found Beyonce very beautiful. Esquire should pick her as their next year’s Sexiest Woman.

ET and The Insider just said that Oprah is going to South Africa on Tuesday, and they are going to be there with her to cover her opening a school for girls there. She spent $40 million on the project.

LOL!!! I’m sorry ya had to learn it the stinky & LOUD way, but Ima tell ya, it’s great. You get the fresh corn, the unsticky floor, and the clean john. Glad to hear Dreamgirls is living up to the hype, and I’m really rooting for Jennifer Hudson to have continued success, and not get typecasted. Her predicesor Jennifer Holliday (the irony of not only the first name, but the same intitals!) isn’t on skidrow or anything, but she really had a pretty anticlimatic post Dreamgirls career, and has been totally ignored since the movie new when I think it would have been a plus to include her in some way. I mean her rendition of “And I Am Telling You” sends shivers down my back when I hear it.

ntt: LOL on diaper smelling movie! Well, my son is still 3 and we went to Happy Feet, which my 5 year old daughter enjoyed but I had to take my son half way through as he lost interest. Anyway NYC is full of tourists now and everyhing even in my neigborhood is crowded. My husband took a day off and I had a sitter so we wanted to go out for lunch was everywhere was full! It took us almost 1/2 to find where we wanted to eat LOL.

I’m happy Jolie-Pitt seem to give enough “sans kids” time to themselves to keep their time together :) It’s important to be ourselves at times as we are all focused on children most of the time and our lives revolve around them otherwise LOL!

I think I might have a bad going to the theater story. So, my older sister, her friends and I went to see Freddy v. Jason (please still love me lol) A woman brought her entire family! Her husband, her in-laws, her 5 year-old son and her one month old daughter strapped to her chest! Her poor son….he had his hands over his eyes for almost the entire film which of course was gory, had course language, sex and female nudity…

Anyway, we all gave each other the “WTF” look lol But oddly enough, the infant slept soundly throughout the entire film…and we were near the front too.

We were in Strasbourg (in North-East of France) for Christmas to be with my mother-in-law. It has been 2 days, we have been back to Nice (in South of France). The weather is much warmer in Nice and there is sunshine!

Angelina and Brad seemed to have a bon jour together. It’s great with someone whom you love but it’s also great to enjoy being together, doing things together.

Has anyone noticed how Angie wears the heck out of an outfit before she retires it?

In france, it was black tank top look, In India, she wore the same black dress all the time, then in New York, she got photographed in that white trench coat quite a few times and now this white ensemble. I think what she wore in Costa Rica was what she wore on the Diane Sawyer interview. It’s the same one that she is pictured in up above.

I’m not trying to imply anything but I have noticed that and thought I would share my observation. Maniston has gained some weight now and doesn’t look like a stick. Paltrow looked the thinnest when she was with Brad. She didn’t look anorexic but thin nonetheless. Granted, she is a mom of two now.

I have never seen Angelina so thin as now. She isn’t thin like Nicole Richie and I realize she has always been thin but not like this. She’s always had big boobs and a healthy weight but this is the first time her boobs are so small and she looks very thin.

Yeah, right now, I don’t think there is REAL cause for concern but it’s hard not to notice. She was more toned and muscled during the tomb raider movies. But if she goes any thinner than this, I’d be worried.

I understand she has three kids, work, travel, family concerns (her mom recovering from cancer), but I think what’s unsettling to look at is her arms. If she would take the time to look after herself and add a tiny bity of meat on her body, she’d look better. She still does look fine, but the extra couple of pounds would stop the discussion about the weight.

Brad really needs to quit smoking, for his kids sake and Angie. If he wants to stick around and see them get married, he should really take his health seriously.

Sometimes, it sounds like they put so much consideration into each other, the kids, and their work, that it seems like they forget about themselves.

Thanks for the post on her weight. I agree — I’m small-boned and people think I’m “skinny” but I’m not, I have flab too. I know a couple of women who are tall and thin and MUCH slimmer than I am, and are perfectly healthy and fit but chubby women always like to make comments and say “Oh, aren’t you skinny!”. They don’t seem to realize that “skinny” is not a nice word, it has negative connotations, and you notice it’s usually said by someone heavy. If we said, “No, I just look skinny next to you, because you’re fat!” then WE would be considered rude, but they are NEVER considered rude when they call us skinny.

Angie’s arms are what make her look so much thinner than she really is. I’ts like MK Olsen, even after she gained weight back. Being small makes her look worse. Angie does not have a lot of muscle on her upper arms, so they look thin and people feak out, but she is not bony and he is not ill. She’s just smaller around than most people. In America people are so used to seeing people out of shape they think someone without extra fat has a problem.

Brad likes his woman slim and with light hair colour.

Angie is slim and has lighter hair colour now. Any problem about it? For sure, she has been taking care of her health, she has three kids and wants more. She knows that she has to have a strong body.

Angie looks really good now… she had lost a bit of weight during India but never looked scary thin. I agree it is mostly her arms that make her appear thinner. Im a bit over weight myself.. by about 22 lbs…but my weight unfortunately is all around my middle. My arms and legs though appear very thin. Nothing I can do about it, I have naturally small boned limbs. When I mention I need to lose 20 lbs people think im crazy because of my arms being thin.. . She is a naturally thin woman who actually bulks up for film roles.

Angie appears now to have put on a few lbs.. looks great.. and very healthy… i find it odd that people are bringing up her weight..even if they say ok she looks good NOW.. but remember in India..blah blah… why is it everyone likes to go back to her past to complain about something even if it was just a couple months ago?

It’s hard to quit smoking - I know - I’m terrified of my forthcoming trip to Italy with school — I can’t smoke then, and I’m stocking up on Nicorette and other things. I am so glad that I never got in the habit of watching Friends, or else I probably would have fallen into the same trap of thinking that Rachel Green and Jennifer Aniston are one and the same. I never did like Friends, for some reason I couldn’t relate — the sitcoms that I used to love before I had cable was Mad About You (I liked neurotic Paul) and Murphy Brown (although sometimes Candice Bergen would be too shrill for me). If I ever did watch Friends, it was because of Courteney Cox whom I thought was the prettiest, and Lisa Kudrow, because I used to love her ditzy character on Mad About You, and she just brought it over.

So, how are you preparing for New Year? Me, we’ll just watch the countdown in New York and the countdown in Chicago’s Navy Pier, and then zonk out. In India, the reporter said Angie was more friendly, Brad was aloof.

The reason why people are fascinated with them is that everyone is trying to read them and I don’t think on person gets it right.

I was also reading the thread where Angie’s picture from 1993 was posted, some people never read the caption, they commented that Angie needed to lose weight, on the other hand another blog someone said she needed to gain weight. She’s not saying that at all. She made the point I was trying to make. The point I think she is trying to make is that stop judging Angelina by her clothes. Simple. You can’t judge a person by the way they look. Angelina has worn dresses before and colorful clothes too. For the majority of her pregnancy she wore black. That doesn’t mean she was unhappy then.

If we use the logic that wearing white and dresses = happiness, then that’s a backward way of thinking.
Then by using the same reasoning, someone who wears pants and black color must be depressed.

Of course Angelina has changed and grown since being with Brad, but it’s the look in her eyes more than the color of her clothes that proves that to me.

BTW for people who doubt her commitment to the refugees, there are six current ambassadors: Georgio Armani, Julien Clerc, George Dalaras, Barbara Hendricks, Adel Imam, Jolie and Osvaldo LaPort. Of the six, Jolie has 67 press releases about her activities, commitments and events compared to the next highest which is 12 for Armani and Hendricks. I was reading the lainey posts on Jen’s thread and I can’t believe how crazy Jen’s fans are. I love what you wrote about BP&AJ. Destiny surely had a hand in getting these two together, to share their dreams and their lives, in this lifetime. I’m a hopeless romantic, so their lives have all the makings of the all-time most romantic story ever.

They both look great. If Angie did lose weight, I’m almost sure that it must have happened during the shooting of AMH in India. In the Vogue interview, the reporter mentioned getting an email from Holly saying that ‘they are barely surviving in India,’ which leads me to wonder about how terrible it must have been for her, as she was also working very long hours. Anyway, I don’t see what the big deal is about her weight.

Monday December 12th, 2006
THE BIG DAY! Here it was, we had arrived to the day of the premiere. They day I had anxiously been waiting for since June 7th, 2005 (the day of the MMS premiere). We woke up kind of late again, at 11:15am. We quickly got ready, grabbed the poster, a camera and left. And I just had to wear my leather racing jacket, that didn’t keep me warm much but I wanted to wear it anyways. Needless to say I froze my nipples off!! I was so excited, and nervous, I was so anxious to see Angie again, it had been so long since the last premiere I could hardly contain myself. I brought a signed copy of The Refugee All-Stars cd, because I had seen them at Amoeba a few weeks ago and I thought Angie would love their music, I also slipped a note in there for her to read. We were all ready to go and arrived at 1pm at the Ziegfeld theatre, thinking that this premiere would be like the ones in LA but we were wrong again. No one was even there yet, not one fan, just us. We waited outside for a while not sure what to do, since it was set up extremely different than a regular premiere. Finally this really cool Italian guy that seemed to be organizing the whole event came up to us and started talking to us, and we told him we were here to see Angie and we came from LA and he was like whoaa you guys aren’t like crazy fans with a gun are you? and we laughed and said no, we’re just fans he said that no decisions would be made, as to whether or not fans would have their own barricades, until about 5pm.. so he recommended us a diner to go eat at and we went and had a late breakfast. I was a nervous wreck and I said a prayer that everything go smoothly and that Angelina would come and greet us, and sign the poster, and that I would get my picture with her, and everything would be worth the trouble of coming to New York. After we ate we went back to the theatre and started checking out the location, more people were there now, but they were standing by the paparazzi barricades (which were double barricaded btw), we went up to the nice Italian fellow and he said that we would be allowed behind the paparazzi in the second barricade.. but me and janine knew better, we would be able to see anything with those rotten paparazzi going nuts with their expensive cameras they don’t deserve ugh! So we stood off to the side and thought out a plan.
Two other guys showed up, also visiting New York, they were from Texas (yeehaw!) anywho they were autograph collectors and kinda grouped by us, I guess cuz we looked like fans too. i took a look at the barricades across the street (they weren’t even connected, they were just there so no one could park across the way).. i decided it was best if we go wait behind those barricades. I mean with the sign and everything, we could get Angies attention and she would for sure come and see us, right? So we lined up, and more people started catching on and standing behind the small row of barricades. so much so that they police officers and event coordinators moved us back to the side walk and set up the barricades properly. So lets skip to about 6 o’clock.. I was freezing, I couldn’t feel my fingers or toes, and i refused to wear my gloves cuz they were slippery. More and more people off the streets started crowding around.. news crew started reading the signs and filming us with the poster, we were interviewed several times .. many people in cars drove by and gave us dirty looks like we were a porn site or something lol .. it was really amusing to janine and i.. fastforward to 7 (which is when the show is suppose to start) Angelina is still nowhere to be seen, with every passing escalade my heart was beating faster and faster. we knew she was in an escalade cuz the guys standing next to us had been stalking her all morning just for an autograph, I don’t know about that.. I would hate to invade her personal life, she must get enough of that from the paparazzi ..
.. then out of nowhere a big swarm of people surrounding Angelina are walking toward us, but its not only Angelina, BRAD is with her. I was dumbfounded.. I really didn’t think she would bring him with her. She started to move toward the end of the line like she was going to sign but then there was some sort of quick decision and she started making her way down the other end, just waving and apologizing.. with brad clutching to her the whole time. She looked amazing, and my heart was breaking with every step she took. Her hair was pulled back into cute messy curls and she was wearing a long glittery dress, she looked so beautiful and I couldn’t help but scream ANGIE PLEASE! waving the sign around like an idiot.. she didn’t even stop to look once. I was in total disbelief, I know I shouldn’t expect anything from her but she ALWAYS visits with her fans.. I mean we had flown all this way, slept with roaches and froze our asses off for a simple wave? this was so unlike Angie, I was in shock. She ALWAYS signed for everyone.. no matter how big the crowd. i mean we were her fans, we understood her and always supported her, and all we got was a wave! My eyes started to well up with tears and my heart dropped to my stomach. I felt a huge lump in my throat like someone had just punched me in the face. I blinked back the tears and tried to be happy with what I got, I mean I know many people would love to just see her, and I should be so grateful! And believe me I was, I just can’t explain how hurt I was, and how hopeless I felt in that moment, like the one person I can relate to in this world and the one person who has given me the courage and strength to not care what other say or think, and the one person that I wanted to see most in the whole world, didn’t even glance my way. I was devastated. I tried to remain calm, maybe she would sign after the movie was over? Maybe we could catch her walking into the after party? or maybe i could be so desperate as to try and see her outside her hotel? My mind was racing and a decision had to be made, I had to pick one of the three options. One the security personal came over to the fans, and I motioned for him to come over to us. I told him how we came from LA and I just wanted to give Angie this cd and if there was anyway he could get it to her, and he said sure if anyone can get this to Angelina it would be me. I was hope and praying that she would get it.
My spirit for the night was kind of dying, but we decided to go back to the hotel and get warmer clothes and try to find the after-arty.
Skip to about 9pm.
We found the Jazz at Lincoln Center, which is where the after-arty was supposed to be held. It said the center was on the 11th floor so we rushed to the elevators, and inside the elevators there was a piece of paper that said The Good Shepherd after-arty in the Allen room& the atrium.. we stopped at the 5th floor and I noticed it said the atrium and there were people dressed in suits and fancy dresses and they were setting up ropes. We rode the elevator back down cuz we didn’t realize until we were already on our way back down.. they were setting up ropes downstairs too.. ah what to do! so me and janine(Ni**lelina) and dana(Angelina eyes) got off on the 5th floor and headed straight for the bathroom.. We chilled in there and put the poster behind a trashcan cuz this was obviously not the place for that sort of thing and we didn’t want to be kicked out. We just thought maybe we could see Angie walk in, and get her attention, something, anything! so a few hours went by.. it was 1030 and we were just sitting on the benches outside of the event, but they took the ropes down. We were getting weird looks from everyone, they knew we didn’t belong, and we were extremely underdressed, but no one dared to say anything. we finally got the guts to walk in and check it out, we walked straight in no problem.. and my heart was kind of fluttering thinking oh man, I don’t wanna get kicked out until i get to see Angie, just please Lord don’t let us get kicked out! .. We walked around, no sign of her downstairs, we got some food and went back to our benches to eat it cuz there was hardly any tables for us to sit at. Dana had to go catch a train back home to new jersey so she left and once we finished our food I called one of the guys that had been chasing Angie all over town and seemed to know where she was at all time. he said that she came out of the movie with brad about 25 mins ago and signed 4 or 5 autographs and left.. And that she went to the after-party about 10 minutes ago. My heart stopped. she was there, we were there! i told him we were in the after-party and he was like no way, how’d you manage that! and I was like I don’t know!.. and I really don’t know how we pulled it off, must of been those prayers thank you JESUS!
Me and Janine went upstairs and scanned the room.. We found this room around the corner, where there was a dj and it seemed like there were more people in there. Janine got a drink at the bar and we were searching the room and j spotted her. She was across the room, on a lower mezzanine talking to a crowd of people. We walked down the lower platform but as we watched, you had to have a VIP card to get access. It wasn’t far, and we could still see her, so we stood at the top of the stairs and watched her directly below us.. we kind of diagonally.. I didn’t want to disturb her, she was already getting stopped every two seconds.. I guess everyone wants a piece of her these days. She seemed so close and yet so far. Brad was no where in sight. She was sitting at a table with Holly and I guess one of the nannys? aka the lady with the curly hair.. yeah that lady was drunk and dancing all around.. it was silly. We tried to be as casual as possible.. we didn’t want to seem like we were gawking, even though I couldn’t help it! She was 7 feet away and looking beautiful as ever and I couldn’t tear my eyes off of her. She looked amazing . She looked really thin too, her chest bones were showing and she looked so frail (hopefully it was just cuz of her role in a mighty heart).. I hope she’s not sick or anything .. she was sipping a martini and eating the same filet mignon and mash potatoes we had been eating earlier. It was like a dream, we were really at the after-party with Angelina Jolie! I wanted so badly to talk to her, to shake her hand and tell her how she inspires me everyday and how’s sheds changed my life. I was so unbelievably nervous.. and I was waiting for the right time, to hopefully get her attention. the security guards noticed how so many people were leaning over the rails of the 3rd platform to try and take pics of her or get a glimpse.. they made everyone step away from the rails.. including us. we could still see her, but not as well. we sat at the table above theirs and we had a perfect view.. hopefully the people whose table that really was didn’t come back anytime soon! lol .. Brad came and sat down next to Angelina, it was so surreal.. he put his hand on her back and was rubbing it playfully and she ran her fingers through the back of his hair.. then she whispered something in his ear and they kissed! I wasn’t even dying (cuz for those of you who know me.. know how extremely jealous i am of brad!) i actually thought it was sweet seeing them together, and seeing Angelina so happy. It made me happy to see her so happy. and all my hate and anger for brad kind of vanished. I knew in that moment that Angelina had truly found love again, it was confirmed, I saw it with my own eyes.. finally after a year of over analyzing I was happy with her and Brad. He seemed so good to her and the kids and I just have to be happy for them. Everyone was approaching her, and getting pictures with her, how could she not be tired of it all? I tried a few times and yelled Angie! But it was so loud, and she couldn’t hear me. I just watched her be. She looked so happy, and I couldn’t help but to smile. One of her body guards came up to me and said hey how did you get in here. I must of have looked worried cuz he said don’t worry I wont kick you out, I saw you at the premiere. And I said yeah we are huge fans, we came all the way from LA.. is there anyway we can talk to her or say hi? And he said well I’m not gonna ask her but you can try (she was coming up the stairs and getting ready to leave here was my chance!) the guard said, stand up!…with a smile on his face. there were guards all around Angelina but she walked two feet in front of me, she had a tired look on her face, and i stood there smiling like an idiot, i meant to say something but you know what, everyone at that party was trying to their piece of her, and i mean everyone, and I didn’t want to be that annoying fan that is a pest, so I didn’t extend my hand or attempt to say anything to her and she just kept walking until she vanished behind some double doors. The guard said, why didn’t you say anything?! And I just smiled and said if don’t know. I really didn’t want to invade Angie’s personal space, I know how I HATE when people do that to me, and there is a time and a place for everything.. and this just wasn’t my time. I was satisfied with spending the evening with her from a far, even though my head was screaming at me ‘you’ll regret it if you don’t go say something to her!’ i knew in my heart that there will be other days. Janine and I left the after-party and took the subway back to the hotel room, still in awe at what we had accomplished.

Chinocchio Fraudiston will be going to Africa. HOORAY! She will finally be doing charity work with Oprah Winfrey. Wow, all JenFans should celebrate. Oh, wait, the media knows about it already! Hey, wait a minute!!! Isn’t that famewh*ring — ALERTING THE MEDIA as to where you are going to do your charity work? Nah, Jennifer is so above it (famewh*ring and PR work), she won’t be doing it, now, will she?

If you recall it, could you please point the way for me.

I love the Jolie-Pitts, but I also respect Oprah, no matter what you think about people, I respect anyone’s efforts to help the less privileged. I would even be happy if Jennifer Anniston goes, I mean I am sure the people they help out appreciate when it really comes from the heart, (which may even be the case for Aniston) but if it’s not the case I bet they’ll be happy for the help anyway.

I agree with you, she surely has her issues, just as the rest of us, and I have never been a fan of hers, but she is not the devil either. We always ask her to let go of the past, maybe we should too.

I have been lurking here for about a year, but this is like my third post, I don’t wanna argue with anybody, but I believe two wrongs do not make a right. Brad and Angelina don’t seem to hold any resentments, neither should we. Maybe the recent developments in her life have shown her that she needs to take a different path in life, maybe not, but it would’t hurt to give her a chance. Maybe her fans don’t want to gibe the Pitts credit for their actions, but we don’t have to do the same thing.

If JA wants to get involved in various causes then more power to her. However, it is double standards to call BP and AJ PR hungry when cameras follow them every. Oprah Winfrey invites a full camera crew with her selected “friends” to view her $40 million-namesake school in South Africa. $40 million dollars is a lot of money to spend on a vanity school when most of the children live below the poverty level. JMHO. They will also stay in luxury accommodations. Heaven forbid that JA is following the trend of being of some use in Africa. It is good for any person to get out of their comfort zone and be of service to other. However, next time some Jen hen come to Just Jared spouting off PR bullcra*p. Ok, I don’t really know any other way to ask it but straight, “I’m not sure what it is you want me to see.” Are you suggesting it’s something to be concerned with in how he has her wrist? I don’t think he is a controlling type man, and I dont think she’s a woman who would allow it if he were. I DO think he’s more take charge than BBT or JLM were with her, and she’s more independent than his ex’s, but I also think it’s something she desired in a partner, someone with a take charge personality.

Remember when she said she wanted to be held down? Not so much physically, but just subdued, slowed down. Isn’t that what she said in VOGUE and the Asian paper interviews? how he tries to get her to slow down and enjoy life? I think he’s the guy who does that on many levels, and in that photo it simply looks like he’s wanting her to maybe come with him. Maybe he knows if he doesn’t steer her to a table to maybe eat something she’ll never do it. I remember in an onlookers account of the party, she finally got some filet mignon and mashed spuds, and Brad went and got her a martini. He’s so obviously someone she can depend on. I have faith in Angelina not being someone who would stand for something abusive no matter how much she loved Brad’s dirty drawers lol.

Respect for what…. a woman who does an interview where they reduce the adoption of a VERY SICK child (who almost died) as a PR move, then in a later interview goes on to say she has no f*ing regrets about it… give me a f*ing break….She is yet to apologize for that….

i have different feelings about Jen going to S Africa. First.. maybe while there she will have a life changing experience.. hopefully it will mean more to her than a photo op no matter what the initial reason for going. Also, if she is a bit more out there and doing some good for someone other than herself, maybe the jen fans and some press will stop being so nasty and snarky regardling Angie and Brad.

I wonder who called who though…? did Jen call oprah, or oprah call jen? Was Jen looking to change her image or was Oprah trying to help out her friend?
