Just came back from seeing the Good Shepherd. It is a good movie. AJ was great. The Movie needed more of her. Matt Damon was too stoic and too dedicated to the CIA. The Movie is long and 2 restroom breaks required(You can file that under Too Much information-TMI). However, the theater was full, mostly older couples. That’s one for the team. Peace to all.

Seriously, PT, I know how much work it is to read, laugh, take notes, read, laugh, and laugh some more and have all those silly thoughts go through your head while browsing the tabloids, but look at how much pleasure you give the BAMZS fans here. You with your absolute silliness and wit, Cliniqua with her fearless “say it like it is” attitude and African Girl with her eye for details, sensitivity and considerateness (she never misses a thing) are three of the reasons that make this forum so much fun. All these “bashers” who get nasty on you and Cliniqua are just too shallow to “get” you two…however the rest of us can just watch the fun when they try….so how about an “every now and then commentary”. BTW “she” fortunately is appearing less and less in the tabs so the opportunity to have some fun will be dwindling…okay so I’m the worse of the lot…it’s the JA schadenfreude effect…LOL.

We in Europe really adore them and I can’t understand the language of american tabloids. JA is the best media-manipulating person in the world, because she is very aware of the fact she didn’t do anything significant since “Friends” and she is only known as ‘Brad Pitt’s ex-wife’. Nothing more beside that, nothing in her career, nothing of humanitarian work, nothing in her personal life,… So, I agree we should not deal with her and her thin fans anymore!

Passing Through - thanks for the hilarious rundown on the tabs - I only read what I can find on the internet (trying to save trees, etc.) so that’s an awesome synopsis! I’m fairly new here - do you do this regularly? (hint, hint ;-)) Would love to see more of this from ya! I heeded your warning - no beverages or food near my computer - lol! I have a couple of comments: 1) don’t you mean she would never dream of adopting a new baby that isn’t ORANGE? he he he and 2) What makes her think she could have the same arrangement as Demi and Bruce - they DON’T HAVE ANY KIDS TO SHARE! It’s the kids that are the glue in that situation.
It just doesn’t make any sense.

Deena - totally love his sense of humour about himself! You were asking why they don’t do commercials in North America - for some reason over here that seems to be a big no-no. I think that people somehow perceive that if you’re doing commercials your career is faltering or something? I also think it’s to avoid market oversaturation - between the movies, tabloids, etc. it could just be too much. I’m guessing they did market research and it was ixnay on the commercials.

My resolution for the New Year: to become more educated about the UNHCR and all the great causes that our favourite family support! I’ve made up a “Favourites” heading labelled “Humanitarian” and the links are already starting to pile up! ‘Make Poverty History’ is one of my favourites and I have been partaking in the e-mailing campaign to our elected officials for the past year. It’s a great way to tell your government how you want your hard earned tax dollars spent and how you want your countries policies to change regarding fair trade etc. :-)

Firstly, I know that the correct word was valedictorian. I assume that I bastardized the spelling so badly that my wp spell checker chose the incorrect word and I did not catch it.

Secondly, What does black sista mode mean ? How much slang does one have to use to be in this mode?

Regarding the Oprah and Barach comparison, I was commenting that it is not shocking to me that Oprah interacts with black and white guests differently just as Barack interacts differently with white and black audiences . Oprah would not be the first well educated black person to use slang with another black person. However, I still doubt that she uttered the phrase “girl that’s right sister”.
