OC, I know..I know. Gayle didn’t say how much Oprah spent but she explained the interior design because Oprah just wasn’t happy with the original blue prints/designs. And that she (Oprah) is just building a dream school that she wanted as a little girl. Apparently she had say in everything from the flooring to the desks….

Creating this school has not been easy, logistically or socially. From the beginning, she struggled to explain her vision, a school that could “contain the emotional, spiritual selves of the girls.” Because these girls come from poverty, she was first given designs she felt looked like a chicken coop, then a barracks. Planners advised that these African children were not accustomed to much—many sleep on dirt floors in housing with no water or electricity; some share a bed with relatives. Oprah was told that the simplest environment would be a luxury to them, that they would need only basics. She sent the plans back. “I said, from the start, I am creating everything in this school that I would have wanted for myself—so the girls will have the absolute best that my imagination can offer.” In 2002, she announced her plans to build a leadership academy and donated $10 million for the school. Her donation has grown into more than $40 million.”

We were in Strasbourg (in North-East of France) for Christmas to be with my mother-in-law. It has been 2 days, we have been back to Nice (in South of France). The weather is much warmer in Nice and there is sunshine!

Angelina and Brad seemed to have a bon jour together. It’s great with someone whom you love but it’s also great to enjoy being together, doing things together.

Has anyone noticed how Angie wears the heck out of an outfit before she retires it?

In france, it was black tank top look, In India, she wore the same black dress all the time, then in New York, she got photographed in that white trench coat quite a few times and now this white ensemble. I think what she wore in Costa Rica was what she wore on the Diane Sawyer interview. It’s the same one that she is pictured in up above.

Anyone notice how the women in Brad’s life are extremely thin when they are with him?

I’m not trying to imply anything but I have noticed that and thought I would share my observation. Maniston has gained some weight now and doesn’t look like a stick. Paltrow looked the thinnest when she was with Brad. She didn’t look anorexic but thin nonetheless. Granted, she is a mom of two now.

I have never seen Angelina so thin as now. She isn’t thin like Nicole Richie and I realize she has always been thin but not like this. She’s always had big boobs and a healthy weight but this is the first time her boobs are so small and she looks very thin.

Well, yes I think that would be the case since on screen they make her look ten feet tall and in real life she is Five feet and something inches. Therefore, proportion is necessary to keep in mind.
