Producers Guild of America announces nominees
Posted: Wed., Jan. 3, 2007, 10:35am PT
Opting for a mix of studio and indie films, the Producers Guild of America has tapped Paramount Vantage’s “Babel,” Warner Bros.’ “The Departed,” Paramount/DreamWorks’ “Dreamgirls,” Fox Searchlight’s “Little Miss Sunshine” and Miramax’s “The Queen” as its best picture nominees.
The PGA, with over 3,000 members, will announce the winner of its Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year kudo in ceremonies Jan. 20 at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.
The nominated producers, announced Wednesday, are Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Steve Golin and Jon Kilik for “Babel;” Graham King for “The Departed;” Laurence Mark for “Dreamgirls;” Marc Turtletaub, David T. Friendly, Peter Saraf and Albert Berger & Ron Yerxa for “Little Miss Sunshine” and Andy Harries, Christine Langan and Tracey Seaward for “The Queen.”
The PGA’s determination of producer credits has no limit on the number of producers on its nominated films but the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences limits that number to three for its Best Picture nominees. So if “Little Miss Sunshine” receives an Oscar nom, the producers branch of AMPAS will have to decide which three of the five producers are credited.
The five “Sunshine” producers are the only ones eligible for an Oscar, based on the Academy’s decision in 2005 to follow the PGA’s determination in producer credits.
“The Departed” is by far the biggest domestic grosser of the PGA’s nominated pics with $120.5 million, followed by “Little Miss Sunshine with $59 million, the recently released “Dreamgirls” with $41.4 million, “The Queen” with $28.5 million and “Babel” with $20 million.
Notable omissions from the PGA’s list of nominees include Paramount’s “Flags of Our Fathers,” Warner’s “Letters From Iwo Jima,” New Line’s “Little Children,” Universal’s “United 93″ and Sony Classics’ “Volver.”
The PGA voting has been a good indicator of Academy sentiment with a match about two-thirds of the time between the PGA’s top feature award and the Best Picture Oscar - even though the orgs have differed for the past two years. The PGA selected “Brokeback Mountain” last year while the Academy Award went to “Crash,” and in 2005, the PGA opted for “The Aviator” while “Million Dollar Baby” won the Best Picture Oscar.
However, 11 of the previous 15 PGA winners went on to win the Best Picture Oscar. “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” was a double PGA-Oscar winner in 2004, joining “Driving Miss Daisy,” “Dances With Wolves,” “The Silence of the Lambs,” “Schindler’s List,” “Forrest Gump,” “The English Patient,” “Titanic,” “American Beauty,” “Gladiator” and “Chicago.”
And the nominees are…
FILM
“Babel,” (Paramount Vantage) Alejandro González Iñárritu, Steve Golin, Jon Kilik
“The Departed,” (Warner Bros.) Graham King
“Dreamgirls,” (Dreamworks SKG/Paramount Pictures) Laurence Mark
“Little Miss Sunshine,” (Fox Searchlight) Marc Turtletaub, David T. Friendly, Peter Saraf, Albert Berger & Ron Yerxa
“The Queen,” (Miramax Films) Andy Harries, Christine Langan, Tracey Seaward

Yo Jared, the least you could do is take away the picture of the document with all the information on it. Be a little fair.

oprahs opinion on Brad and Angie..
In an interview with “EXTRA” correspondent Jon Kelley, Winfrey pats celebs like Brangelina and the Material Girl on the back for their adoption of non-caucasian children. “With somebody like Brad and Angelina, their family is a little United Nations.
And it’s not Bill and Jane’s car anymore. They traded it in. The car trader is the one who put it up on Ebay.
Is there anyone who isn’t willing to make money off of Brad’s name. I guess not.

I’ll probably go and see it again. i love history. i’ve always been intrigued by the CIA. this time, i will pay special attention to those dates on the screen.
this is the movie which i think one can see it 2 or 3 times, and still wont get tired out of it, cos there is a “chockful” of information in the movie. (is chockful a word?)

No, I didn’t mean it to read that way if you got that impression.
I meant that I would rather concern myself with other things.
One of the reasons I like Angie is because she doesn’t care about things such as these silly magazine titles that serve no purpose. It’s cool when famous people can see beyond the hype.
I am not going to vote in a meaningless poll either that clearly one can vote over and over again in.
It does not surprise me that the car dealership would do this. I wonder if Brad’s partents have grounds for a lawsuit.

I doubt the Pitts will sue anyone. They don’t seem the type and selling their car on eBay doesn’t seem that extreme. Remember… last year someone attempted to sell Shiloh’s poopy diaper on eBay, assuming that the diaper was authentic.
Now that was extreme.
And anyway, the cries for lawsuits are uncool, IMO. Vince Vaughn lost some cool points in many people’s minds when he threatened to sue the British tabs. And Donald Trump, the Earl of uncool, the Count of Colossally Bad Combovers, threatening to sue Rosie over the bankruptcy slurs…
Clarification: I was asking the same:, are the airport pics
a) going TO Panama from Costa Rica
or
B) going BACK to Costa Rica from Panama
What about Mad, Zahara and Shiloh?
What another new thread, but but I haven’t read the other 3 yet……goodness.
Did someone was selling Brad’s or Angie’s air in a jar from the MAMS premiere, it was on E-Bay and someone did purchased.
I think from Costa Rica to Panama.
????? forgot those ????.
Thanks repost! Now i can sleep comfortably lol.
I think there aew way too many lawsuits. MY point is that if they traded in their vehicle and the dealership was careless enough to release some personal information about them then there may be grounds for a lawsuit. Though likey by now all thne paparazzi knows where the PItts live. I hope that now that some of the haters have seen their address that they won’t harass the Pitts.
Lainey’s Latest - http://www.laineygossip.com/ArticleList.aspx?ID=5476
A few weeks ago, I reported exclusively on a tip from local sources that the Pitts had apparently acquired a property in New Orleans and that it was undergoing renovation. Fresh scoop again from Louisiana that the First Family of Hollywood is considering a move there, perhaps for a year, and that they’ve actually sent along a few assistants to look into schools for Maddox and Zahara. St Geoge’s Episcopal School for K-8 is rumoured to have been interviewed along with a French immersion option, possibly at the Montessori.
As you know, Brad has been shooting there for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and of course he’s been actively involved in the eco-friendly housing initiative in the Lower Ninth Ward.
At this point, I’m told no final decisions have been made – flexibility is, obviously, a concern, especially given the Family’s penchant for incessant travel and of course bringing the worldwide press for maximum media milkage on their incessant travels.
Will keep you posted.
Am also attaching for your viewing (dis)pleasure this painting created by artist Kate Kretz…something about our society’s fixation on celebrity culture and consumerism, with Angelina representing “the unattainable” standards of Hollywood, contributing to the ever widening gulf between social classes, and how this is disparity is reflected at every Walmart across the continent…I think.
To be honest though, I’m not sure how effective it is to perpetuate the stereotype that only old or overweight women shop there when, from what I’ve seen anyway, it’s the MiniVan Majority that’s been the cornerstone to big box retail success and domination.
But hey – I’m just a dirty fickle gossip, what the hell do I know?
a used lexus once owned by brad pitt’s parents? not interested.
this makes me think of that seinfeld episode where george believed he’d bought JV’s car and found a pencil with his teeth marks in it. i really liked that show. too bad kramer’s a klanny and all the fun is ruined…
Piper,
Vince didn’t lose any cool points from the public. Remember? Brad is subjected to a different standard than all the other guys.
Vince can sue tabliods which imply he cheated on his girlfriend, he can be caught with a 20 year old co-ed in Budhapest, he can get his ass drunk every night, he can get arrested, he can be part of a fake, publicity hungry relationship to promote his own movie, but he’ll still be considered “cool”. The public will still think he’s cool because Vince is a person you can have a beer with.
Brad on the other hand can stay in a miserable relationship for seven years and be a considerate husband for four years, speak on tv for wanting to have kids, have the utmost patience with the media, never respond to his ex’s backstabbing, never utter a bad word about his ex-wife, try to move on with his life and finally have kids like he always wished for, and he’ll be seen as evil, evil man who is a wimp. The public simply can’t wait for him to abandon his kids and run back to his “golden” ex.
Unfortunately, that’s the way the public thinks. *sigh*
Thanks Just Jared for you post.
If the Oscars allows 3 producers names per movie for consideration, I wonder if Brad will be listed for “The Departed”?
Speaking of boldface names, which one would you most like to trade places with for a day? The ever-popular Oprah came in at the very top with 46%, followed by Angelina Jolie (15%), George W. Bush (10%) and George Clooney (9%).
Angelina Jolie is one of the hottest mamas in Hollywood, and she was voted Mother of the Year by 26% of parade.com survey respondents. Newly single mom Reese Witherspoon came in second with 21% and Gwyneth Paltrow came in third with 17%. Britney and Whitney (Spears and Houston) were tied for last place, both with 1.5%!
Jolie’s baby-daddy/boyfriend Brad Pitt was named Father of the Year with 34% of the vote. Proud papas Ben Affleck and Matt Damon came in second (27%) and third (13%), respectively. It turns out that K-Fed still has something in common with estranged wife Brit—he also came in dead last with only 1.5% of the vote.

I’m sorry for my naivete.
Rationality doesn’t belong in conversations/discussions with those with Bizarro-World logic.
Is there a way to find out how much money Babel and TGS have made currently? Box office mojo isn’t uptodate. And it’s hard to find out exactly how much Babel has currently made from foreign markets.

It could be a good thing if he is left off of the list. Think about it… it could compel the other producers, assuming that they win, to mention him in the speech. Commentators could also make an added effort to mention him too.
No, wait. Those with Bizarro-World logic would think that he did this deliberately so he could be singled out, which would be ironic, since Bizarro-World logic keeps perpetuating the myth that ___ is still aligned with Plan B and AMH and that ___ was diddled out of her chance for Oscar consideration.
Piper,
Yeah, it’s important to leave things like coherent thoughts behind when you try to make sense of what the public thinks. I wish others were “naive” as you because atleast your thoughts sound logical.
to DRAGONFLY,
I am with you for not voting. It seems very unnecessary.
By the way, did you see who is chosen the most elegant so far?
HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE, JARED AND AUDREY!

Tabloid drama is ‘Dirt’ poor on FX
DIRT. Tonight at 10, FX.
In tonight’s new FX drama series “Dirt,” Courteney Cox stars as the ruthless editor-in-chief of a supermarket tabloid. As both the leading lady and one of the show’s executive producers, Cox succeeds in returning to TV in a part that is the polar opposite of her likable Monica on the hit NBC sitcom “Friends.”
It’s one of the only successes the show can boast. Based on the first three episodes provided for preview, “Dirt” is a rare misfire from the drama-development folks at FX. It’s a show where neither the world being created nor the characters populating it are remotely convincing - or interesting.
The series premieres tonight at 10 with a striking image as Lucy Spiller (Cox), editor of Dirt magazine and its more upscale sister publication Now, attends a Hollywood party in a flowing, deep red gown. Cox wears an even more exaggeratedly flowing red gown in the credits, lording it over all of Hollywood like a glamorous monster threatening the entire twinkling territory.
That analogy isn’t far off, as Lucy barks orders, slogans and philosophies to cowering staff members at editorial meetings, and even to her nervously obsequious Hollywood contacts.
“If you don’t start using your power, you will lose it!” she advises one Hollywood player.
“As much as you all hate to admit it, you need me,” she tells another.
And my favorite, told firmly to her staff and employing a term Lucy uses more than once:
“This baby picture is what Wal-Mart Mommy wants!”
Well, this TV series is not what TV-Critic Daddy wants.

Thanks Just Jared for another thread. I am enjoying all the pictures of BAMZS minus the painting. The car dealership figures they can make twice the profit by putting the car on Ebay. That is how the world turns. BP is getting an eyeful of AJ as she boards the plane. That guy is so far gone in lust and love and it is cute to see in the pictures. I wish them a happy stay in New Orleans (my old stomping ground).
Dirt was a waste of a good hour. Any implied references to BP are a poor attempt for PR for the series. Cox can do better. The storylines were all over the place and the series may not last too long. Only good thing about the show is it made fun of the neurotic, derange pap. Poor guy he had a conscience at the end. FX is ususally know for cutting edge shows. This one was left on the cutting room floor.

The holidays were actually not as wonderful as Thanksgiving was. I’m planning on something different next year but what I don’t know. I really want a more meaningful experience than it’s become for us. It just seems like when I was a kid it didn’t get so rushed and caught up in sales etc. This last month was so “boom boom boom done/over, back to whatever you were doing before” and there’s really a weird sense of the anticlimatic for me.
Ok, enough of the deep/dark. I don’t recall the last time I watched a GG. I agree with you and this is JMO, but I think that some people forget what is the true meaning of Christmas, now it is all about buying buying and want, want and want. Christmas has become to commericalize to me.
And as for Award Shows, I don’t usually watch them unless people that I like are nominated, and since Brad and the Babel are nominated I will be watching the GG, to see if they win and they better lol, plus I can’t wait to see the Red Carpet. However, Oprah does give a hand to the celebrities who have chosen the adoption route.
“I applaud anybody who does anything to save a child’s life,” she said. “When somebody like Brad and Angelina, you know, their little family is a little United Nations. I think, what an amazing thing to grow up in a family where you have an Asian child, a Caucasian child, a black child. I think that’s the world.”
Queen O also revealed how she felt about Madonna’s adoption controversy.
“I think for Madonna and her family to decide that, ‘We’re going to take this little black child,’ I couldn’t even understand. It was just craziness to me that people would be complaining about that,” Oprah admitted. “You’re making life better for that child.”

The passion in his voice really shook me. And the Capitol building behind him was the perfect backdrop. Let’s hope that he doesn’t go “missing” while he’s there lol At least in NYC he’s not close to the feds, hehe. Hey, can you blame a girl who took a course in investigating JFK’s assassination for feeling a bit paranoid.
Tweety complimented him today! For some reason, he was expecting Jimmy Carter’s eulogy at Gerald Ford’s wedding to be all political and about Iraq. He said, “I think Jimmy will have a ‘Special Comment’ of his own.” Keith laughed uncomfortably and said, “His will definitely be better than whenever I try to…” To which Tweety replied, “It can’t.”

Amaya,
I hold out a timy smidgen of hope for Tweety, not Scarborough though even though sometimes he’ll blurt out a comment once or twice that I’ll agree with. Maybe having Tweety work with KO’s is doing him some good after all. Lol.
I understand the paranoia you have. While KO was talking, I couldn’t help but think about the “special package” that was sent to his home. Scary things are happening.
She looked like H#ll .
She definately needs that special Oprah lighting from her show.
She should treat it like AMEX and not leve home without it.
I say that and i happen to like her, but it is what it is.
gitane Says: January 3rd, 2007 at 5:23 pm - MD was great on ITAS…. i was quite surprised about what he said about Bush…i agree with what he said, but i just didn’t expect him to say that…. i also loved what he said about Bostonians and the F word, how they use it as a transitional word, i was dying…..
No new pics. I guess Angelina and Brad have found another place where they can disappear. Hope they are enjoying their family time.
Big fan of Brad but I wouldn’t pay more to buy his parent’s car.

hey Original jpf! how’s it going?
^^^^
Hey there. It’s going nowhere fast is were it’s going lol. I’ve basically wasted the day and I’m not happy about that. I hope your b-day was wonderful and fun. Btw has your company ever been part of that show “Who’s Wedding Is This Anyway?” I wanna say that it takes a special person to be a planner because some of those brides to be, and even a few of the grooms were just crazy, and I’m surprised they even found somebody to marry their butts. In fact one guy did come to his senses and called it off.
jpf
stardust, ITA lol It like for five WTF comments that Tweety says there’s always one that’s a gem. And Scarborough……if had to choose between him and Tucker…..it’d be him….but it would be close lol
That package though was a from a very pathetic freeper that I believe was unemployed, living with his parents and idolized Ann Coulter. Now, he’s trying to plead innocent even though he basically confessed on the night of his arrest.
Gah, TDS and TCR are back next week…dang it lol I know that they need a break but it sucks for us fans when they’re on hiatus.
I don’t know how I feel about this ebay auction because anyone who has an account can make a high bid and not pay. Remember when Stephen’s portrait was $99,999,999
Slightly OT…
We’ve been subjected to who ___’s next ‘love’ should be. It’s refreshing that someone, namely Lainey, is thinking of the other half of the now-defunct answer to the Princesses’ prayer. Mind you, she is endorsing the violation of the bros before h@s rule, but members of E! and other entertainment outlets don’t seem to have a problem with GC and ___.

BCBG, I have seen TGS three times. I saw it the first day it was released, but I was about 15 minutes late so I stayed and saw it a second time. My girl friend wanted to see so I went with her. Each time I saw it I saw something I hadn’t seen before. I asked this question on another Jared thread, but no one responded. Does anyone want to discuss the movie?
Alexanderina Says: January 3rd, 2007 at 6:33 pm
I adore GC. I think he is funny and so damn cute. I start liking him since from his days of the “Facts of Life”
^^^^
I forgot he was on that! I didn’t get the humor of The GOLDEN GIRLS when I was younger but love them now to the point of having them on DVD, and there’s one epidsode that has GC on it and I think it must have been around the same time as when TFOL was on. He was cute then, and he’s hansome now, but my favorite GC look was during his stint on the hospital show I cannot for the life of me remember the name right now lol. Anyway, you know which one. Man, I thought he was seriously handsome then.
jpf
Those freepers scare me the most because they really believe what they are doing is right. They belong in the “my mind is already made up, so don’t confuse me with the facts” group. lol
How can anyone take Tucker seriously after Dancing with the stars? Not that I ever did take him seriously. lol..with all that’s happening…..I can’t wait for TDS and TCR to come back. The good thing is that usually after their vacays, Jon and Stephen are even funnier than before…if that’s possible.
Didn’t the TCR have to start auction over after the $99,999,999 bid? The only part that bothers me about this ebay auction is how the dealer is advertising it so bluntly that the car was owned by Brad parents. What people won’t do for an extra buck! jeez.
^^^
that was to Amaya
Test
What happen to my post?Oh well. How is everyone?Well I hope.Original jpf,I also love The Golden girls.

I don’t know about Kate and Vince. I think he likes the college girl types and doesn’t want any responsiblity. Kate does have a son so she has to look out for him.
The more I think about it, it’s hard to name guys in hollywood willing to date a single mom and be in it for the long haul. Except Jake Gylenhall and Reese could make it work.

lainey observation. I agree.
For once I agree with Oprah, why would anyone want to prevent a child from’living
an advantaged and priviledged life that Brad , Angie and Madonna can give them.
stardust,
I know! By accident while I searching pics of Jon I came onto one of their threads and guess what they were having a field about? His wife Tracey being arrested because she was driving with a suspended license! LOL They were acting like she murdered someone.
Tucker barely danced and so, it was very fitting that he was the first to go.
Jon and Stephen are very refreshed and they usually get their haircuts during their breaks. lol So the Rollingstone interview w/ them..yeah Maureen left out the fact that even though they don’t hang out that often outside of work, they do stay after TCR is done filming each night and they have pizza together too.
YAY Barney Frank was on Countdown lol Hearing his voice…all I could of was him saying “Thanks a bunch” Now that I know the George Clooney tivos TDS, TCR and Countdown….I’m giddy. I think Stephen watches Countdown too. My work is coming to life mwahahaha.
so,okrah talks about brangie now!i smell something!
Lexus rocks! Great cars :)

i dodnt mind if you want to discuss the movie “the good shepherd”. may be if you put the word “spoiler” at the beginning of the post, those who dont want to know can skip reading.
i’ve only seen it once. but i plan to see it again this weekend. this time, i will definitely watch those dates on the screen since this movie “goes back and forth”.
question:
1) did the movie ever explain how they got the “tape”?
2) someone said they had to carry clover to the boat, i dont recall. may be i just forgot.
3) i still dont understand how father/son can work for the same agency. i always thought there is conflict of interest and can run the risk into a compromising situation. for example, if the son is doing something wrong, wont the father be forced to compromise for the sake of covering up his son?
4) i wish they develop more of Angie’s character. may be there will be a sequel.
5) i check the movie daily gross revenue. it seems the gross is pretty steady, not a lot of drop in sales. may be this movie requies word of mouth. i personally think this movie has “legs”. if so, that is good, just like in a tortoise race, the final gross sales will be good given the time.
which movie do you like better. The good Shepherd or Babel?
Amaya - Jon produces TCR, Stephen watches KO, and Clooney watches all three. Like has come full circle indeed. lol.
If that’s all the dirt they can find on Jon, that’s not saying much. lol
Be back later. =)
question? -
i like both movies. personally, i like any thriller, courtroom drama, susspense movie. i normally dont like any artsy movie. i saw babel because i wanted to support brad. had brad not been in it, i would not have seen babel in the theatre, but probably will see it on DVD
for Babel, it’s more thought provoking to me.
for “the good shepherd”, i understand more about the birth of the CIA. to me, it’s more informative. in fact, after the movie, i look up “bay of pigs’, cos i wasnt familiar of that event.
someone also suggested me to see “the blood diamond”

So very true. The truth is, there are not many single men, young or old, who would attach themselves to a single mum with young children, whether in hollywood or in the real world. Those who are secure enough in themselves to embrace the role of father of someone elses child, who love the woman more for being also a mother, who can support their family financially (yep, I’m old fashioned that way), who know how to make time for the woman as an individual, - yeah, you’d have to give them serious consideration as keepers. Let’ see who we know fits into this category - hmmm Matt Damon??? Seal??? Brad Pitt???
I’m honestly stuck. Anyone else?
Oops, I should clarify, I meant men in hollywood, not the real world. U know what I mean.

I haven’t seen TGS yet but I think there can not be a comparison between the tow movies. Their subjects are tow completely different things. It would be very interesting to learn about CIA and of course to see the great performances from the actors and especially Angie’s but I think by watching Babel it taught me something more about the whole WORLD. Plus the acting was EXCELLENT with a capital E by everyone in this movie. Again I’m not stating a preference. I haven’t seen TGS yet and I really can’t wait!! :)
lylian,There is no one else.Matt,Seal and Brad are men who wanted families and take it VERY seriously.Notice how all 3 men are always with their family.Matt was talking last night on Inside the actors studio about how his family always travels with him on location when he’s shooting.

Move Over Angelina Jolie: More Americans Look to Overseas Adoption
Last Edited: Wednesday, 03 Jan 2007, 1:50 PM EST
The High Price of Parenthood
The process of adopting a child from another country generally costs between $15,000 and $30,000. This can include the cost of travel, immigration processing, an orphanage donation, translation and medical expenses, as well as fees to have the child escorted into the U.S. if the parents do not pick them up themselves. The expenses for domestic adoptions can vary widely, from nothing for adoptions done through the foster care system to as much as $40,000 when facilitated by an agency or done independently.
Lylian -
i totally agree with you. you will mostly win the girl if you embrace her children.
Okay - That is “Overseas”. Typing and drinking do not mix.
TGS - $ 39.8 in 12 days (Domestic)
Babel - 20.1 million (domestic) + 29 million (foregin); WW boxoffice is rougly $49 million
also kurt russell
I prefer Babel. I thought it was such a beautiful and thought proking movie. My favorite I’ve seen this year.. TGS was also wonderful. But Babel does it for me!
TGS is doing great. Thanks to word of mouth.
Just WOW for Babel numbers.
Almost forgot to say.
Hello Everyone, I hope everyone had a great New Year.
wow! britney landed as most elegant…..wait a minute,a woman who doesn’t wear panty is elegant?i didn’t know that?eewwww…grossss..i’ll be bloated if i dont wear one.
I am in LOVE with “KNIGHTS OF PROSPERITY.” It’s so d@mn funny! I laughed so hard. Great casting chemistry, and and even Mick Jagger is a hoot, and now on to the David Arquette show which actually looks like a winner too.

Let me preface this with “this is a response about Oprah Winfrey her bringing up Jolie-Pitt, and in giving my opinion I have to include Jennifer Aniston in the post.”
I don’t dislike Oprah, but I do feel she was arrogant and even petty in allowing her herself to publically draw a line in the sand where the Pitt-Ansiton split has been concerned. She took pointed aim at Brad and Angelina each time she brought JA on her show inwhich she in a not so subtle a way, let it be known that she supported “her friend” not in general terms, but in biased terms. She allowed personal relationships to trump professionalism, and I think it’s coming back to haunt her. She didn’t take a good look at the bigger picture from the standpoint of how it would play out where Brad & Angelina’s A-list celebrity was concerned. Jolie-Pitt are at present thee IT couple more than any other pairing Brad was ever a part of. His career is in an amazing place, and he and Angelina as a team on the humanitarian front is something others are aspiring too emulate. She f’d up, but, I think that something happened with her friends last visit to the show, and I think that something was that maybe her friend fibbed to her face. If that didn’t happen, doesn’t it mean that OW was knowingly in on the “we’re together (but not really)” with VV lie? I think OW was lied to, and think this is one reason OW is now easing Jolie-Pitt into her conversations. I think she DID invite Jolie-Pitt to the opening of her school, or at least wanted to. OW messed up, and I think we’re going to see her distancing herself from her friend in the months to come. JMHO

I think this Just Jared site is the best! Thanks Jared for such
a great forum where fans can give in most cases their intellegent
opinions on their favorite celebrity, there are alot of celebrity sites
but yours is the best.

some nice things about Brad and Angie on one of those celebrity entertainment
shows.

Original jpf,Good post!ITA about Oprah. The SAG nominations are announced tomorrow morning!Cross your fingers for BRAD!
ET was announcing couple break ups. They showed briefly Owen W. I had to watch Rick Steves’ travel show, so I didn’t watch what ET had to say. The one thing I can say is Kate and Owen truly never said they were together, so people can’t say they broke up. Not like Vaughniston. What a publicity faux pas. “I don’t date VV”, “I am not engaged to vv”, but then “no, no, I didn’t break up with VV”. I don’t know about Oprah, but 2006 was the year she was lied to on her show at least twice.
BCBG: Kurt Russell - yes, coz Goldie’s children were small when he got together with her.
Estelle: Ashton K - may be coz Demi’s kids are quite old and independant so that would make a difference??

ER!I swear I couldn’t remember. I know the last time I watched that show was when GC’s character went to see Nurse Hathaway and his daughters. That was it for me. I dont even know how long ago that was. The GG’s? They are all my fav’s at different times. Rose the peterpan loon, Blanche the southern belle ****, Dorothy the sarcastic academic, and Sophia the old country Godfatherette wannabe. That show has to have the worst continuity of a tv series in history in regards to character history, but I don’t care, I love it, and if it’s on, I watch.

I love AJ in white. I believe it’s the best color for tropical weather. Somebody asked, where are the children? I think that all the pictures with AJ wearing the same clothes must have been taken on the same day. So, they were probably away from the children only for a day if that much. Maybe they went home to them that same night and maybe I’m only guessing he he but isn’t it fun?
