I don’t know about Kate and Vince. I think he likes the college girl types and doesn’t want any responsiblity. Kate does have a son so she has to look out for him.

The more I think about it, it’s hard to name guys in hollywood willing to date a single mom and be in it for the long haul. Except Jake Gylenhall and Reese could make it work.

HOTTEST COUPLE EVER @ 01/03/2007 at 8:25 pm

For once I agree with Oprah, why would anyone want to prevent a child from’living
an advantaged and priviledged life that Brad , Angie and Madonna can give them.

stardust,

I know! By accident while I searching pics of Jon I came onto one of their threads and guess what they were having a field about? His wife Tracey being arrested because she was driving with a suspended license! LOL They were acting like she murdered someone.

Tucker barely danced and so, it was very fitting that he was the first to go.

Jon and Stephen are very refreshed and they usually get their haircuts during their breaks. lol So the Rollingstone interview w/ them..yeah Maureen left out the fact that even though they don’t hang out that often outside of work, they do stay after TCR is done filming each night and they have pizza together too.

YAY Barney Frank was on Countdown lol Hearing his voice…all I could of was him saying “Thanks a bunch” Now that I know the George Clooney tivos TDS, TCR and Countdown….I’m giddy. I think Stephen watches Countdown too. My work is coming to life mwahahaha.

so,okrah talks about brangie now!i smell something!

Lexus rocks! Great cars :)

i dodnt mind if you want to discuss the movie “the good shepherd”. may be if you put the word “spoiler” at the beginning of the post, those who dont want to know can skip reading.

i’ve only seen it once. but i plan to see it again this weekend. this time, i will definitely watch those dates on the screen since this movie “goes back and forth”.

question:

1) did the movie ever explain how they got the “tape”?

2) someone said they had to carry clover to the boat, i dont recall. may be i just forgot.

3) i still dont understand how father/son can work for the same agency. i always thought there is conflict of interest and can run the risk into a compromising situation. for example, if the son is doing something wrong, wont the father be forced to compromise for the sake of covering up his son?

4) i wish they develop more of Angie’s character. may be there will be a sequel.

5) i check the movie daily gross revenue. it seems the gross is pretty steady, not a lot of drop in sales. may be this movie requies word of mouth. i personally think this movie has “legs”. if so, that is good, just like in a tortoise race, the final gross sales will be good given the time.

question? @ 01/03/2007 at 8:36 pm

which movie do you like better. The good Shepherd or Babel?

Amaya - Jon produces TCR, Stephen watches KO, and Clooney watches all three. Like has come full circle indeed. lol.

If that’s all the dirt they can find on Jon, that’s not saying much. lol

Be back later. =)

question? -

i like both movies. personally, i like any thriller, courtroom drama, susspense movie. i normally dont like any artsy movie. i saw babel because i wanted to support brad. had brad not been in it, i would not have seen babel in the theatre, but probably will see it on DVD

for Babel, it’s more thought provoking to me.

for “the good shepherd”, i understand more about the birth of the CIA. to me, it’s more informative. in fact, after the movie, i look up “bay of pigs’, cos i wasnt familiar of that event.

someone also suggested me to see “the blood diamond”

So very true. The truth is, there are not many single men, young or old, who would attach themselves to a single mum with young children, whether in hollywood or in the real world. Those who are secure enough in themselves to embrace the role of father of someone elses child, who love the woman more for being also a mother, who can support their family financially (yep, I’m old fashioned that way), who know how to make time for the woman as an individual, - yeah, you’d have to give them serious consideration as keepers. Let’ see who we know fits into this category - hmmm Matt Damon??? Seal??? Brad Pitt???

I’m honestly stuck. Anyone else?

Oops, I should clarify, I meant men in hollywood, not the real world. U know what I mean.

I haven’t seen TGS yet but I think there can not be a comparison between the tow movies. Their subjects are tow completely different things. It would be very interesting to learn about CIA and of course to see the great performances from the actors and especially Angie’s but I think by watching Babel it taught me something more about the whole WORLD. Plus the acting was EXCELLENT with a capital E by everyone in this movie. Again I’m not stating a preference. I haven’t seen TGS yet and I really can’t wait!! :)

The real lou @ 01/03/2007 at 8:56 pm

lylian,There is no one else.Matt,Seal and Brad are men who wanted families and take it VERY seriously.Notice how all 3 men are always with their family.Matt was talking last night on Inside the actors studio about how his family always travels with him on location when he’s shooting.

Move Over Angelina Jolie: More Americans Look to Overseas Adoption
Last Edited: Wednesday, 03 Jan 2007, 1:50 PM EST

The High Price of Parenthood
The process of adopting a child from another country generally costs between $15,000 and $30,000. This can include the cost of travel, immigration processing, an orphanage donation, translation and medical expenses, as well as fees to have the child escorted into the U.S. if the parents do not pick them up themselves. The expenses for domestic adoptions can vary widely, from nothing for adoptions done through the foster care system to as much as $40,000 when facilitated by an agency or done independently.

Lylian -

i totally agree with you. you will mostly win the girl if you embrace her children.

Okay - That is “Overseas”. Typing and drinking do not mix.

Box Office @ 01/03/2007 at 9:10 pm
