Brad Pitt Filming in the Caribbean

Brad Pitt Filming in the Caribbean

Brad Pitt (dressed in a Lacoste polo) and Cate Blanchett were spotted filming scenes earlier today in the Caribbean for their new film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Thank goodness Brad’s character ages backwards because all that baldness and that fat suit did not suit him. Plus, it gave him pimples.

A zit for Mr. Pitt? Well, according to Cate, the fat suit and the prosthetic make-up Brad had to wear caused him to break out in a rash. Cate told Scotland’s Daily Record newspaper: “We went through three weeks of make-up tests and he was covered in eczema from it all. We were talking about what we were going to do because our skin was taking a battering. So I had this girlie conversation with him and put these skin creams down, lined them up in front of him and he and Angelina went around the table trying them. Brad is so smart and generous. He’s so wonderful I love him. I don’t love him in the sense that I love my husband, but I adore him.”

A little more about the plot: As Brad’s character (Benjamin Button) regains his youth, Cate’s character (Daisy) grows older. The movie’s million dollar question: Will their love continue to grow? (I also wonder how young Brad’s character will get in the film.)

Brad, 43, and Cate, 37, were also seen taking a lunch break after filming a few scenes on a sailboat named “BUTTON UP.” Below the boat name is “NEW ORLEANS.” The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is directed by David Fincher (Panic Room, Fight Club, Se7en) and is set for a release between Christmas 2007 and May 2008. Light years away…

Chinnocchio must pay big bucks to her PR machine. Sammie blog has the scan of Star, the article is very similar to the one in the Inquirer. They said she wants to adopt, but unlike B&A, it’s going to be an American kid, because she feels there are a lot of poor kids in the US that need to be adopted (roughly that’s what they say). They also had a lot of other lies in that article, all twisted to make B&A look bad, while presenting Chinnocchio in the best of lighting. All I can say is, there are a lot of dummies buying those rag mags, because you can see through their lies right away, and yet some people can’t.

OT. George Clooney, the prankster. Here is an excerpt from the Renee Zellweger’s interview in Life.

Life: You’re about to start filming GC’s “Leatherheads”, a 1920s romantic comedy. Is it true he sent you the script one night and you committed the next morning?
Renee: Oh, I was in before I read the script. I am a big fan of his directing and he’s charming. But I’m scared — I’ve heard he’s relentless with the on-set pranks. He plans months in advance, and I’m terrified of what he’s got up his sleeve for me.

How did the The Good German do? I think George clooney is very egotistical. He either wants to direct movies so he can get critical claim or it’s like he has to be in every movie he produces. He comes off as very hungry for fame and awards. That Casablanca like poster for The Good German made me not like George. I was always on the fence about him but anyone trying to make themself the next Cary Grant is laughable.

Do you remember what they said about cancer…are the really slow drivers? Conscientious drivers…the kind of driver who won’t start the car UNTIL everybody’s seat belt is all done.

Hey I am a Cancer and you are right. Everyone must be buckled up before I take off. But I am a city driver who takes corners on 2 wheels…so they say…

Has anyone noticed that Oprah has been criticized by many people in the media lately? People have come out saying she has no right to complain about how the kids in inner city schools ask for sneakers and I-pods when Oprah herself is very materialistic on her show. They say She gives cars and material possessions away all the time. She fuels this need to have expensive things so it’s hypocritical of her to say that. People are also saying it’s hypocritical for her to have a beauty salon and movie theater in the school when she’s trying to promote education which is a need, not a luxury. The critics have also said it’s wasn’t smart on her part to use so much money on one school when the same amount of money could have been used to build more schools to educate thousands of more kids.

I know African Girl brought this point up once before but isn’t it wierd how whoever criticized Brad or Angelina turns up getting their Karma returned to them. There is someone really looking out for this family from up above. Or maybe it’s karma doing it’s work.

First, __ is being exposed for her fraud ways and she can’t get any movie roles. She was supposed to become this huge star and Brad and Angelina were supposed to have their careers over, but that didn’t happen.

Trump is now being seen as this pompous, big baby who only is a greedy attention wh*re.

And now, the most shocking thing of all, a few people are actually standing up to the Queen Okra.

WOW.

Cary Grant? But it was Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca.
Anyway, I love George Clooney and I do like that he has been exploring the black and white, older HW era. But hey, many people disagree, it’s okay.

Travolta’s SNF moves opened up Brad Pitt’s world!

By ANI
Friday January 5, 05:12 PM
Washington, Jan 5 (ANI): It wasn’t Al Pacino’s performance in ‘Godfather’ or Clint Eastwood’s acting in ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly’ that made Brad Pitt join the movie biz, but rather John Travolta’s dancing skills in the iconic movie ‘Saturday Night Fever’.

The ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’ star, who was recently voted ‘Father of the Year’, admitted that Travolta’s charismatic performance in the cult 1977 disco classic was the movie that changed the way he viewed cinema.

“I loved it. It wasn’t the bad suits and dancing. It was the idea that I didn’t know people could live like that,” Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

Pitt added that he was so “intrigued” by the idea that such a world as portrayed in the movie could actually exist that it made him determined to “attack life out there” and be a part of it.

“I guess I’d only seen my corner of the world - Oklahoma and Missouri - so I was intrigued by the idea that there’s completely other ways to attack life out there,” Pitt said.

The actor, who along with partner Angelina Jolie and kids Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh, was recently named ‘Family of the Year’ by People magazine, will now be seen on the big screen alongside George Clooney and Matt Damon in the third movie in the ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ series. (ANI)

Sadly, the same people that criticize Oprah now, are the ones who criticized B&A. They just don’t like the idea of money being used to help outside the US. They are so narrow minded that they don’t see that the world is getting smaller and smaller really fast. Anything affecting other countries, is going to affect us in the US. As for criticizing her for not using her money effectively, Diane Sawyer said in her GMA coverage today that O is going to extend her program to more girls, then boys, then to entire South Africa. DS also said O will use the school as a template for schools in the US. O is planning it big, they said.

Which Signs Are the Best and Worst Drivers
By Nancy R. Fenn

Please don’t shoot the messenger, but Suncorp Metway, Ltd., a multi-faceted Australian Financial Service, ranked car accident claimants by Sun sign in a study of 160,000 accident claims over the previous three-year period. This is what they found.

Take the Wheel

Start Your Report
Restless Geminis Behind the Wheel

The number one worst drivers were Geminis, “typically described as restless, easily bored and frustrated by things moving slowly,” explained Warren Duke, Suncorp’s national manager of personal insurance. “They had more car accidents than any other sign.”

No astrologer would argue with that description of the sign of the Twins and probably this isn’t very surprising news. But what about the other signs?

According to a news release dated Feb. 10, 2002, Duke said the study was carried out as part of Suncorp’s annual review of claims. “We always look for trends in claims to see if there are ways to reduce our pricing, but there is no intention to introduce astrology as a rating factor for motor insurance,” he said.

Second and third place holders for this dubious honor are Taurus and Pisces. “Taureans were thought to be obstinate and inflexible, “said Duke,” while Pisceans could be risk-takers and daredevils.”

Your personal astrologer would offer other explanations. First Taurus. Yes, Taurus can be obstinate and inflexible, but they are also the most introverted and self-absorbed of all the signs. Their natural path in life is to think about their own body — its immediate comfort and needs — and to deal with only the most tangible and immediate of realities. Their thinking as drivers may run like this. My stomach is full, the temperature in the car is pretty good, the noise level is good, I’m riding right at 60, I don’t have to use the bathroom for at least another hour and there’s plenty of gas in the tank. At a very fundamental level, the world outside the chassis of their car may not exist at all. Since freeway driving requires spatial perception and processing of much abstract information (speed, flow and distance), this is counter to their natural way of processing the world around them.

Pisces the Daredevil?

Pisces, in the number three position, is the other sign that lives in a world of its own. Duke describes them as potential risk takers and daredevils. However, there are other signs we would nominate much more readily for a description like this.

Pisces are the gentle dreamers of the zodiac. They may spend many hours a day in fantasy worlds, escaping the painful realities of life on the physical plane and, more often than not, the pain of being in a physical body. They often experience the whole manifest world as an illusion and their presence in it as temporary and of little importance.

This Pisces detachment from the physical can lead to unconscious feelings of invulnerability or invincibility, also to unconscious feelings of victimization and sacrifice. If you are momentarily deluded into thinking you don’t have physical limits, and that your life is but a fleeting moment in the eternal life of the soul, you can respond to situations of physical danger in illogical ways. Or, at the very least, be slow on the uptake.

Please don’t take these descriptions as critical. The qualities of Taurus and Pisces are invaluable in their proper spheres of influence. Astrology is not a critical tool. It is a tool of enlightenment. Something you read here and become conscious about may save your life.

Duke continues, “Capricorns, who came last on the list, are typically described as patient and careful.”

No argument with that from the professional astrologer. It’s no surprise Capricorns are the safest behind the wheel. They’re the safest at everything! Their patience and sense of responsibility are legendary. Imagine the thrill I felt in the passenger seat when I divorced my Gemini husband and began dating a Capricorn.

The great middle ground of this survey is held by Sun signs in this order:

What are you like behind the wheel? Use your intuition to make the right turns in life with an I-Ching reading.

Throw the Coins Now
4. Virgo
5. Cancer
6. Aquarius
7. Aries
8. Leo
9. Libra
10. Sagittarius
11. Scorpio [and Capricorn in last position as the best drivers]

Is this what you would have expected? There is something else fascinating about this list.

The folks at SunCorp would have no way of knowing it, but Capricorn to the side, the signs in the last two positions and first two positions are the exact opposite. This tells us a great deal about polarities, doesn’t it? Scorpio is opposite Taurus and Sagittarius is opposite Gemini.

Sagittarians may stay safe in their cars the same way they do in life, by having superbly developed higher minds. Another name for this mind is intuition. The highly developed sense of flow and good timing characteristic of Sagittarians is what makes them the lucky sign. Furthermore, their minds are right at home dealing with traffic patterns, flow and spatial relations.

Scorpios, on the other hand, may stay safe because they are intimately involved with the inner lives of others in the same way their opposite sign Taurus is defended against this information. Scorpios are sensitive to energy— whether it is a foot away or thousands of miles away—and can feel someone “coming up from behind” at many different levels. Scorpios know if you’ve had a fight with your wife the night before or if you’re thinking about embezzling or having an affair with your best friend’s husband. That’s why we always feel like they can see right through us. They can.

Scorpios would be the drivers who would instinctively “wake up” in time to let a cocaine addict pass them at 95 or give a wide berth to a passive aggressive soccer mom hassling two kids in the back seat and a phone conversation with her husband all at the same time.

Where does your sign fall in this survey? Whatever your Sun sign, let’s all learn from this survey and be safe on the road.
