OlderBrad Pitt Filming in the Caribbean
Brad Pitt (dressed in a Lacoste polo) and Cate Blanchett were spotted filming scenes earlier today in the Caribbean for their new film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Thank goodness Brad’s character ages backwards because all that baldness and that fat suit did not suit him. Plus, it gave him pimples.
A zit for Mr. Pitt? Well, according to Cate, the fat suit and the prosthetic make-up Brad had to wear caused him to break out in a rash. Cate told Scotland’s Daily Record newspaper: “We went through three weeks of make-up tests and he was covered in eczema from it all. We were talking about what we were going to do because our skin was taking a battering. So I had this girlie conversation with him and put these skin creams down, lined them up in front of him and he and Angelina went around the table trying them. Brad is so smart and generous. He’s so wonderful I love him. I don’t love him in the sense that I love my husband, but I adore him.”
A little more about the plot: As Brad’s character (Benjamin Button) regains his youth, Cate’s character (Daisy) grows older. The movie’s million dollar question: Will their love continue to grow? (I also wonder how young Brad’s character will get in the film.)
Brad, 43, and Cate, 37, were also seen taking a lunch break after filming a few scenes on a sailboat named “BUTTON UP.” Below the boat name is “NEW ORLEANS.” The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is directed by David Fincher (Panic Room, Fight Club, Se7en) and is set for a release between Christmas 2007 and May 2008. Light years away…

Brad’s political agenda:
1. hook up with someone with political connections, example; Angina Ho’lie
2. Get kids to hold Newsweek mags in pics (Zahara when first adopted and Maddox, in kidnap capital, Haiti) to suck up to mag and make people think you care about politics.
3. Get gay vote by saying the real reason you won’t marry because you support them (not the real reason which is Brad’s playing the single card to try and hold what few fans he has left or b/c Angelina is on to him and doesn’t want him) _ this is actually plan B, first Brad put it out there that he was looking to play a gay character, but now offers yet.
4. Get the southern vote by telling people you will personally oversee the rebuilding of New Orleans - by dragging cameras around, wrenching your face to try and look concerned, and talking constantly about yourself. (Then maybe every one may credit you personally for the rebuilding and ignore all the organizations and people who have been there working and rebuilding long before Pitt needed to promote movies and himself)
5. Make fun of and hate on Mel - to get the Jewish vote (but he’s not getting mine - and I can’t stand Mel).
6. Sell the kids to get the soft hearts votes. Talk about them like they are mini ambasssadors for your image - not real kids who need respect.
7. Get your once interesting gal to dress in boring St. John clothes (No wonder the company is lossing money fast - who would ever think to put Jolie with the word ‘Saint’?). These are clothes Condelisa Rice and Hillary Clinton wear, afterall.
8. Make up stories to the press that Jen and Jolie are friends (like Jen cares about these two nuts) so as to try and get the Jen fan’s votes.
9. NEXT -For the Latin American vote - adopt from middle America (this I’ll bet money on)
10. Who knows what these opportunist will come up with.

I so totally agree, meesh!, and I mentioned it a couple of threads ago. When I voted, I checked on the most attractive men, and couldn’t even see Bradley or even GC in it. WTF? And while I love Sean Bean (his Odysseus in Troy was to die for), I wouldn’t have voted him as most ATTRACTIVE man. And Robbie Williams? Puh-leeze! I have chosen Hugh Jackman (my other favorite) but he’s so far down in the rankings my vote didn’t even matter.
Oh my gosh - I’ll just die if this movie is being filmed in St. John. We went there on our honeymoon and then back again for another vacation two years later and it is absolutely exquisite. They would probably stay on St. John I bet because it is so tiny and very easy to move around unoticed.
Looking at the photos I kind of felt that was where it looked they were and then when I saw the posts, I just died. Now I really won’t be able to wait to see this movie. There is just a special place in my heart for St. John. All of the US and British Virgin Islands are amazingly beautiful.

They are staying at Caneel Bay on Saint John which is where we went for our Honeymoon - I knew it would be there.
It is sooooo exquisite and a private compound with 7 private beaches, only registered guests can come in on the dock and be on any of the beaches. When we were there it was like we were the only two people there.

Brief: Major Movie to Film Scenes on Lindqvist Beach

Dec. 28, 2006 –- A Paramount movie starring major Hollywood actors will be filming sequences on St. Thomas next week. The movie, The Mysterious Case of Benjamin Button, is adapted from an F. Scott Fitzgerald short story.
Solicitor General Elliott McIver Davis said Thursday that he has helped with the legalities of obtaining a Coast Zone Management permit for the film company to work on Lindqvist Beach, which was recently acquired by the V.I. government.
Scenes also will be shot at Honeymoon Bay on Water Island, Davis said.
Normally i would never give Blanchett the light of day. But since she is associated with Brad , now she is hot. Even thought i know different. This the power Of BP, he can make anybody look good.

Thanks! It was really a no-brainer for me, after I saw Troy and then started blogging here and saw that no one had as yet chosen “Briseis”. Some posters have also commented on how they love my chosen moniker. Now, if I can just translate it to reality, being his love slave and all … ha ha ha! Julia Ormond’s character in Legends was Susannah Fincannon Ludlow — it’s okay but doesn’t stand out — maybe Isabelle Two Ludlow would stand out more? After all, Tristan did marry Izzy.

So papa Pitt is back to work. The only thing this man have to do is save and cut his hair a little bit shorter and he is looking like he is in his twenties. And his body is still to die for! I really like his clothes too. I like Cate with her hair like that and her classic 60’s pair of sunglasses. I though they would have left Caribbean by now but apparently they are still there.
Does anyone know when the movie will be released??

BAMZS are there from Jan 1 and they are about to stay for 4 days of filming.(So I bet today is their last day there). And they are staying in Cannel Bay not to mention that they have been extremely guarded and that is why we haven’t seen any pictures of them out and about.
