Brad Pitt Filming in the Caribbean
Brad Pitt (dressed in a Lacoste polo) and Cate Blanchett were spotted filming scenes earlier today in the Caribbean for their new film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Thank goodness Brad’s character ages backwards because all that baldness and that fat suit did not suit him. Plus, it gave him pimples.
A zit for Mr. Pitt? Well, according to Cate, the fat suit and the prosthetic make-up Brad had to wear caused him to break out in a rash. Cate told Scotland’s Daily Record newspaper: “We went through three weeks of make-up tests and he was covered in eczema from it all. We were talking about what we were going to do because our skin was taking a battering. So I had this girlie conversation with him and put these skin creams down, lined them up in front of him and he and Angelina went around the table trying them. Brad is so smart and generous. He’s so wonderful I love him. I don’t love him in the sense that I love my husband, but I adore him.”
A little more about the plot: As Brad’s character (Benjamin Button) regains his youth, Cate’s character (Daisy) grows older. The movie’s million dollar question: Will their love continue to grow? (I also wonder how young Brad’s character will get in the film.)
Brad, 43, and Cate, 37, were also seen taking a lunch break after filming a few scenes on a sailboat named “BUTTON UP.” Below the boat name is “NEW ORLEANS.” The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is directed by David Fincher (Panic Room, Fight Club, Se7en) and is set for a release between Christmas 2007 and May 2008. Light years away…

Unfortunately people will always find something to criticise in Brad and Angelina’s interviews,if it’s not about Shiloh,it will be something else.Just google Angelina and see how some are already spining it,so no matter what she says, some people especially x fans they will find something wrong with them.
So what people are saying is why do you focus on how you think people will take the interview.Surely if you have read all the interviews you must have heard the love Angelina has for all her kids.
Why is it in all the interviews, all you try to find is the negative,Angelina has said so many sweet and loving things about Brad and their kids, why don’t you pick something to discuss from all those wonderful things. All you did was open Angelina up for criticism, yet you know she loves all her kids.

From Page 6 NYPOST
97 pieces of luggage
*****
Please they moved from CA to Paris to Nambia and no one spoke about the amount of luggage. They moved from CA to India (where everything about Brad and Angelina was written about) and no stories about the amount of luggage. But they go to the VI for a week or so and have to have 97 bags please. I think someone wanted to pump up the story.
Brad and Angie are, of course, very rich and i don’t think that they should hide their lifestyle, only to be much more credibles when they are in mission, This criticism from nyp, is just stupid.
*sigh* Still dealing with a sick computer and using hubby’s laptop before he gets up. Reading backwards, very confused.
Are you all talking about the ELLE magazine? I thought that was put together from many other interviews? I KnOW the cover wasn’t new.
I’m so far behind on BAMZS news it just isn’t funny. I have to say, I loved the bit from ?NYPost? that said Brad and Angie are having candlelit dinners on their balcony.
Is the Elle interview with Angie for real or is it a FAKE? There are really some statements in the article whose veracity/validty are questionable as they are contradictory to some statements made by Angie in her recent interviews including Vogue.

Oscar watchers narrow list of top film nominees
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Hollywood experts on Friday narrowed their guesses for best film Oscar candidates to a short list including widely touted musical “Dreamgirls” and crime thriller “The Departed,” after seeing this week’s key award nominations.
Close behind on the short list are comedy “Little Miss Sunshine” and searing cultural drama “Babel.” Several industry pundits caution that the final spot on the list of five vying for the movies’ top honor could go to one of a range of films.
“The Queen,” an inside look at the British royals, director Clint Eastwood’s “Letters from Iwo Jima,” which tells the Japanese side of the World War II battle, September 11 drama “United 93,” and the comeback story this season, “Bobby,” about the legacy of former U.S. Senator Robert Kennedy, are all being given a shot — if even a slim one in some cases.
“It’s an incredibly stable group, but it will be a wide open race” when the five nominees are named, said David Poland, who runs the Moviecitynews.com Web site.
The world’s top film awards, the Oscars — or Academy Awards — are given out annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills, made up of actors, actresses, directors, producers and other movie industry professionals. This year, Oscar nominees will be named on January 23, and winners will be unveiled in a star-filled Hollywood gala on February 25.
This past week, nominees unveiled by the Producers Guild of America and Screen Actors Guild helped define top contenders because many guild members are also Oscar voters. And over the next 10 days, several crucial events take place in the Hollywood sport of Oscar watching.
On Tuesday, the Directors Guild of America, names its nominees and historically DGA contenders correlate strongly with Oscars. “The Directors Guild will influence the race greatly. It always does,” said USA Today critic Claudia Puig.
OF GUILDS AND GLOBES
Critical favorite “Letters” would see its Oscar chances rise if the directors single out Eastwood. The same is true for Britain’s Stephen Frears with “The Queen” and Paul Greengrass for “United 93,” and “Babel’s” position as a true Oscar contender would solidify if Mexico’s Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu made the DGA’s list.
Two days later, the Writers Guild of America picks nominee for screenplays, and on January 15, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association gives out its Golden Globe awards, which will help indicate choices in the best actor and actress Oscar races.
The experts said the best actress race appears to be down to five candidates who mirror SAG’s picks this week.
Those five are Helen Mirren playing Queen Elizabeth in “The Queen,” Judi Dench as a manipulative teacher in “Notes on a Scandal,” Meryl Streep portraying a wicked fashion editor in “The Devil Wears Prada,” Spanish beauty Penelope Cruz as a working-class woman in “Volver” and Kate Winslet playing a woman in an extra-marital affair in “Little Children.”
“We seem to have these ladies locked in,” said Tom O’Neil, columnist for Theenvelope.com.
The race for best actor is less settled. The sure things seem to be Forest Whitaker playing dictator Idi Amin in “The Last King of Scotland,” Peter O’Toole as an older man smitten with a young woman in “Venus” and Will Smith portraying a man overcoming life’s obstacles in “The Pursuit of Happyness.”
Leonardo DiCaprio also seems to be a good bet, but the question is for what role: a diamond smuggler in “Blood Diamond” or an undercover cop in “The Departed.”
Finally, relative newcomer Ryan Gosling playing a drug abusing teacher in low-budget “Half-Nelson” is given an edge to make the fifth Oscar nomination spot.
The cover of the Elle magazine is a FAKE. It features an old photo of Angie that was modified (color of the Angie’s dress was changed to BLUE) for this issue. I guess if Elle can fake the cover, then perhaps they might have fabricated the interview as well.

Thanks Bluemoon.
If Brad is NOT nominated for a Oscar for best supporting actor(he can’tbe nominated for The Departed), do you think he will still go to the Oscars? I really want to see him and Angelina on the red carpet of the Oscars. The Oscar’s clothing is more formal than what some wear to the GG.

You have no idea who Brad is because if you did, you would have known the many times he has said how he loves his life now. You would have known the many times he has said how he loves travel and adventure. And you would learn that he’s a man who is his own man and would not be with anyone if that person demanded he turn his life over to theirs. Doesnt the fact that he left the past behind for the future he has with Angelina clue you to the truth in that statement? With fso called ans like you, Brad isnt in need of enemies.

+++++++++++++++++++
Since he won’t get the producer credit to run for The Departed, I don’t think he will go. I was checking the envelope.com and right now Brad is loosing buzz for his osar nod, (thanks to the SAG, since a lot of SAG members are Academy members too). If he doesn’t win at the GG and doesn’t get nominated to the BAFTAS I don’t think he has many chances to get nominated, so far the top 5 contenders are: 1 Eddie Murphy, “Dreamgirls” , Alan Arkin, “Little Miss Sunshine” ,Jack Nicholson,”The Departed” ,Michael Sheen, “The Queen” ,Jackie Earle Haley, “Little Children”. Since Little Miss Sunshine and the Queen are riding in a hot buzz right now and Eddie Murphy is a lock there is only one spot free, and the contenders are Brad, Jack, the guy from Blood Diamond and Jackie Earle and of course they can put Dicaprio in this category as well.
a new thread would be better….hi jared!

Why was Brad not given the producer credit for The Departed ? His name and 3 others were written as the producers in the movie. and Plan B produced this film, isn’t it?
to edith, would you like some editing?if you are not sure, then stop posting!simple.you obviously dont know whats going on with the pitts!
