Brad Pitt Filming in the Caribbean

Brad Pitt Filming in the Caribbean

Brad Pitt (dressed in a Lacoste polo) and Cate Blanchett were spotted filming scenes earlier today in the Caribbean for their new film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Thank goodness Brad’s character ages backwards because all that baldness and that fat suit did not suit him. Plus, it gave him pimples.

A zit for Mr. Pitt? Well, according to Cate, the fat suit and the prosthetic make-up Brad had to wear caused him to break out in a rash. Cate told Scotland’s Daily Record newspaper: “We went through three weeks of make-up tests and he was covered in eczema from it all. We were talking about what we were going to do because our skin was taking a battering. So I had this girlie conversation with him and put these skin creams down, lined them up in front of him and he and Angelina went around the table trying them. Brad is so smart and generous. He’s so wonderful I love him. I don’t love him in the sense that I love my husband, but I adore him.”

A little more about the plot: As Brad’s character (Benjamin Button) regains his youth, Cate’s character (Daisy) grows older. The movie’s million dollar question: Will their love continue to grow? (I also wonder how young Brad’s character will get in the film.)

Brad, 43, and Cate, 37, were also seen taking a lunch break after filming a few scenes on a sailboat named “BUTTON UP.” Below the boat name is “NEW ORLEANS.” The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is directed by David Fincher (Panic Room, Fight Club, Se7en) and is set for a release between Christmas 2007 and May 2008. Light years away…

thanks jared!!! i thought cate was julia roberts until i read the caption.

Unfortunatly , I think it will be hard for Brad to get nominated for the Oscar for Babel. I think some in Hollywood will seem fit6 to nominate Eddie Murphy for DreamGirls since DreamGirls is the latest movie with all the buzz. I hope I am wrong.

Someone at Bradforums is claiming that we will likey see pictures of BAMZS from New Years Eve in People and Hello.

What a competitive year this is for all the nominations. A lot of really strong performances in all the categories, I think all of them are up for grabs, even Best Picture. I hope you are wrong about Brad, too, I do so want him to get a Best Supporting Actor nomination for an Oscar.

The real lou @ 01/04/2007 at 10:14 am

Tabitha,I feel he will be nominated.To be honest the SAG nod was the one I felt would be more difficult to achieve,for reasons I won’t go into.Brad has a shot at the oscar nod!

lol I would have done the same. Oh and it looks as if …although it’s not concrete, that the friendship between BW and DT is kaput since they both called each other liars :lol: Actually I think DT actually said liar and that BW said that his claims of her not liking Rosie were false. Oh and it turns out that BW is close friends with Cindy Adams, she actually called her a “journalist” :lol:

tabitha - you are wrong about the oscars. The SAG awards are a wierd duck this year, because there is/was confusion over where to place Leonardo DiCaprio for his performance in The Departed. If Leo is placed back in Lead for The Departed, Brad still has a good shot at a nomination for Babel.

Dreamgirls also DOES NOT have all the buzz anymore, let me tell you, its all about The Departed. The Departed is better reviewed, has great commercial success, and is on WAY WAY WAY more critics top 10 lists, and has won way more critical awards than Dreamgirls.

Talking about poll being jokes. NBC news just announced the results of a Gallup poll about the most admired man. George W Bush came in first.
==============================

Please OH, Please tell me you are joking

Im back!!! Hi BAMZS fans I missed this havinga hard time to catch up and still looking for the last thread about Angie and Brad they are awesome!!! Brad looks young in these pictures or its just that I missed him for a week. :)

So Brad has no chance to win the oscars? Ah, man, I was really hoping he would.

Everytime I think of Bringing Sexy Back, I think of The Jolie-Pitts. Hollywood was sorta stale don’t you think with ref to sexiness before MAMS-But when these 2 hooked up on screen the e- was like splitting the atom!-Jolie was already sexy and Brad well, I really never thought of him as sexy, just smart, articulate and cute. But from the moment he looked at her in the first scene of MAMS, I was like-Hold up! Then the Bogata dance happened and it was just over. JA should have filed right after that scene because it was evident to me that these 2 were gonna have a future. They totally brought sexy back. In fact, my little boy (the 7yo) is obsessed with anyword that has sex in it. Another kid beat me to the punch when explaining sex. The kid told him sex is when 2 ppl get naked and rub their butts together. When my son asked me I told him THAT IS NOT TRUE! It’s just what “Christian’s” parents do (of course Christian is the little boy who told him that). Anyway the kid wants to know who invented sex anyway-well you know I had to tell him-This guy named Brad Pitt and his wife Angelina! Yep they invented it!

ROTFLMAO - Too funny Malibumom. I’m in the process of discussing the birds and bees with my girls (eldest is 6; twins are 4). They are facinated. It’s nice to know I’m not alone in this stressful situation.

loverofone @ 01/04/2007 at 10:28 am

damn brad is a fine MOFO…I love him and Angie together (she is a lucky broad and so is he a lucky dude) Angie, if I ever see Brad out alone without you and the kids, sorry homegirl I would have to “holla” at that fine ass BRAD:YOUS A FINE MOFO! FOSHO

Phie, welcome back.

Lookwhaticando, I wish. :lol:

Brad always seems to never get the respect he deserves, I saw Babel and he was amazing. Also what about Matt Damon, he was awesome in the departed. At this point I am starting to have doubt if Brad will even show up at Oscars. If the departed wins best picture he won’t even get the oscar. Brad gave the performance of his life …it sucks.

People let’s wait and see if he gets the oscar nod,stop with the doom and gloom!

At this point I’m pessimist too. I think Eddie Murphy has a edge over Brad at the GG and I hope he gets nominated for an Oscar, but I don’t think he will win.

====================================================
Thanks for the tip, bluemoon. This does look like a new interview, and this was taken when she still had her Shiloh boobs. Is it available now?

The real lou is right — let’s wait and see before we depress ourselves. And then we have also to remember that Steve McQueen (to the best of my knowledge) never won an Oscar, and Paul Newman got it so late for a performance that wasn’t even his best … and of course, perfect example is Martin Scorsese, one of the best directors around (director of my favorite Raging Bull) and yet never won an Oscar — so you could be the most talented in your field and still not win. Sometimes you have to be a favorite to win (like Clint Eastwood) and Tom Hanks.

Bluemoon, thanks for the magazine link. Her hair is very dark in this picture and it has been lighter for quite awhile now. Do you think this picture was taken while they were in India?

think positive! @ 01/04/2007 at 10:59 am

Thank you!! I was about to say that. Brad has still a chance to get a nomination for his role in Babel as Best supporting actor. That will be his second nomination for an Oscar and his is already nominated for a GG and it’s his second time as well. In the majority of the award shows Babel got a nomination as a movie or cast or directing.That a lot of recognition!! Brad will have many chances to get an Oscar nod as a producer in the future. He has many other great projects to work on.

Is that a US or UK cover of Elle? Is it out, yet? I hope there is an actual interview with Angelina.
