OlderBrad Pitt Filming in the Caribbean
Brad Pitt (dressed in a Lacoste polo) and Cate Blanchett were spotted filming scenes earlier today in the Caribbean for their new film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Thank goodness Brad’s character ages backwards because all that baldness and that fat suit did not suit him. Plus, it gave him pimples.
A zit for Mr. Pitt? Well, according to Cate, the fat suit and the prosthetic make-up Brad had to wear caused him to break out in a rash. Cate told Scotland’s Daily Record newspaper: “We went through three weeks of make-up tests and he was covered in eczema from it all. We were talking about what we were going to do because our skin was taking a battering. So I had this girlie conversation with him and put these skin creams down, lined them up in front of him and he and Angelina went around the table trying them. Brad is so smart and generous. He’s so wonderful I love him. I don’t love him in the sense that I love my husband, but I adore him.”
A little more about the plot: As Brad’s character (Benjamin Button) regains his youth, Cate’s character (Daisy) grows older. The movie’s million dollar question: Will their love continue to grow? (I also wonder how young Brad’s character will get in the film.)
Brad, 43, and Cate, 37, were also seen taking a lunch break after filming a few scenes on a sailboat named “BUTTON UP.” Below the boat name is “NEW ORLEANS.” The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is directed by David Fincher (Panic Room, Fight Club, Se7en) and is set for a release between Christmas 2007 and May 2008. Light years away…

we shouldn’t get into worrying about his success as being measured by his awards.
Robert Redford has never won an oscar for acting he was nominated in 1973 for “sting” and he didn’t win, he was 37 yrs old. He did win an oscar in 1980 as best director for “Ordinary People”. Yet look at what he’s accomplished in the world of motion pictures. He’s respected, loved and don’t forget the Sundance Festival. Some actors are in this world to win prizes, others to make a difference. If Brad can do both, the awards would only be the gravy at the top.

That is right!! Brad have said many times that he really dosen’t care much if he will ever get an Oscar or not. Actually what you wrote is the exact words Brad said. The article is an interview he did in the summer of 2005. And he also said it again when he was in the Babel premiere in L.A back in November 2006 reggarding Oscars that he dosen’t need it to fufill him and that he is happy right where he is in his life. It would be great if Brad wins but if he don’t he will still have the honor and respect.
I’m not going to quit voting till Angelina gets double of Jens votes. I know I seem to be contridicting myself in regards to awards/polls. I don’t so much want Angelina to win as I do hearing Jen screaming at the ocean some more! :)

Cindy Adams as usual is snarky but Brad and Sasha are friends. They share the same agency, CAA. When Sasha was kicked off the cover of Vanity Fair so the magazine could put Brad’s picture on the cover, Brad was mad too because
1. They used his picture without his permission
2. Because Sasha is Brad’s friend and Brad wanted Sasha to get the recognition
Sasha baron Cohen in real life is very sexy and intelligent. It’s true, Cohen did rent a home from Brad when he first came to LA. They’ve been friends for a while now.
Also, let’s clear up this Elle magazine rumor. It’s an old picture. Angie has always had fairly medium sized boobs , so it isn’t a post baby picture. It’s an old picture and they probably used the quotes from the new Vogue interview to cut and past together a sloppy interview so they can add their own biased comments.
Everyone wants a piece of Brad and Angie right now, so when they can’t talk directly to them, they go find other under handed tactics to milk some money from the cash cow that is “Brangelina”.
It’s not a new interview. Elle just wants a piece of the pie so they slapped an old picture of Angie on the cover and called it a day. Now, in the magazine they’ll claim, they got an “exclusive” interview. blech.

I find this comment so telling in the sense that Cate Blanchett is an Australian (so she’s not really a part of the HW scene), has not been in many box office hits (except for The Lord of the Rings trilogy) and yet she has been making movies right and left, and she’s a mother. Unlike some TV stars who have been in Hollywood for about 12 years now, was married to a producer/actor, and thought of herself as some hot shot, and yet now couldn’t get a movie off the ground so she’s “taking the time off and enjoying herself.” Ha ha ha!

Looking out my window at them filming right now…..They are on Honeymoon island just off the coast of ** thomas. went down yesterday and they were filling ‘bladders’ to film a hurricane scene. The beach is closed to the public today and tomm. Thye are not staying at Caneel as one person reported, they have rented a home on Water Island. Pretty cool excitement for our part of the worl

That’s exactly what I thought. I bet he’s grinning from ear to ear, and also plotting. Remember how competitive they say they are with one another, so I’m betting Brad is tightning up his motorbike game. Btw, #2 Valentino Rossi is one of Brad’s favorite people on earth. This is what he said about him in the Esquire 06 interview:
