Brad Pitt Filming in the Caribbean

Brad Pitt Filming in the Caribbean

Brad Pitt (dressed in a Lacoste polo) and Cate Blanchett were spotted filming scenes earlier today in the Caribbean for their new film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Thank goodness Brad’s character ages backwards because all that baldness and that fat suit did not suit him. Plus, it gave him pimples.

A zit for Mr. Pitt? Well, according to Cate, the fat suit and the prosthetic make-up Brad had to wear caused him to break out in a rash. Cate told Scotland’s Daily Record newspaper: “We went through three weeks of make-up tests and he was covered in eczema from it all. We were talking about what we were going to do because our skin was taking a battering. So I had this girlie conversation with him and put these skin creams down, lined them up in front of him and he and Angelina went around the table trying them. Brad is so smart and generous. He’s so wonderful I love him. I don’t love him in the sense that I love my husband, but I adore him.”

A little more about the plot: As Brad’s character (Benjamin Button) regains his youth, Cate’s character (Daisy) grows older. The movie’s million dollar question: Will their love continue to grow? (I also wonder how young Brad’s character will get in the film.)

Brad, 43, and Cate, 37, were also seen taking a lunch break after filming a few scenes on a sailboat named “BUTTON UP.” Below the boat name is “NEW ORLEANS.” The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is directed by David Fincher (Panic Room, Fight Club, Se7en) and is set for a release between Christmas 2007 and May 2008. Light years away…

Sadly, I rented Failure to Launch, despite hearing all the bad reviews. I did the same with Rumor Has It and guess what… they both sucked. COLOSSALLY.

Re: Sacha Baron Cohen…
I’m not the least bit surprised that Cindy Adams is showing her snobbiness and ignorance. Cohen is Cambridge-educated and, believe it or not, devoutly religious. His fiancee, Isla Fisher, is even converting to Judiasm, which is surprising because these days, most people would opt for an interfaith marriage instead of converting.

Anyway, I find him very sexy, maybe because of the duality between his personal and professional lives. And the dude is fearless, which adds to the allure.

to ORIGINAL JPF,

PARDON for the disappointment, I didn’t mean it sincerely :)

I adore JFK Snr very much and I always thought that Jackie’s marriage to Onassis was a dishonour to his memory. I dislike Jackie for this. That’s why I didn’t see the your point of view.

For voting Princess Mary of Denmark, I didn’t want to write that I like to see her as the most elegant woman because I like her. Because this is my preference. But still please do vote for her.

is Cate Blanchett in everything? I am tired of seeing the same 10 actors in every movie…Hollywood seriously needs some more talent.

^^^^

For some reason I doubt you’ve seen even one movie with Cate Blanchett in it, but in case I’m wrong, how did you ever enjoy it with that gun pressed to your temple?

Mediterranean,

I respect your views about Jackie and JFK Snr, but don’t you think how JFK Snr. treated Jackie was a disservice to her? It’s been known that the women that married into the Kennedy family did not have the best marriages.

creativegirl @ 01/04/2007 at 12:41 pm

Here is the link to where Jen says they are.

This would actually make even more sense than Caneel for them. It’s private so they could stay there and film there with no real issues. I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough.

JFK broke his marriage multiple times with all his affairs with other woman. I certainly do not hold it against her that she married another man a few years after JFK’s death.

Brad is looking so good, I could not believe that he is still so hot after all these years since Thelma and Louise. The awards season is upon us and I can’t wait to see Brad and Angie at the Golden Globes.

Hello everyone!

I have been lurking on and off (been kinda of busy with reports) Anyway, I thought I would add my two cents to this one. Why would you feel that Jackie dishonoured JFK? IMO, she was and will be one classy former First Lady. If you think about the flurry of events leading to her marrying Onassis you will see that she had a lot to consider as far as personal safety. It appeared that the Kennedys were being targeted from all avenues. (Cuba, mafia, white supremist etc, etc) I think when Bobby was assassinated she experienced some form of fear and she wanted out. When she married Onassis she had to give up all of her entitlements as a former First Lady (ie security and benefits). She did this to get out of the country for some sort of self preservation. Additionally, JFK was dishonourable to her in life. I sometimes wondered if the 2 chldren that they lost due to his STD issues.

thank you for reminding us to vote.

thank you for the URL.

Don’t take this the wrong way, but how old are you? Cliques of actors in constant rotation has been a HW formula for years!!!!!!!!!!! Becoming even more popular in the 50s and 60s.

Coming out of lurking mode just to add Jackie also feared for the lives of her children and knew Onassis with his power and money could protect them. I’m a Bostonian through and through and we loves us some family Kennedy but we are also very aware of their demons.

No problem Joy and I did realize you also meant the children but I just wanted to emphasize that part. Again I love the Kennedys but the men have not always been the most faithful (generalizing of course) and both the men and women have not always been the most sober of New England families.

to JOY,

Like some people, I also believe that the assassonations of the Kennedys are much deeper than we have been told for years.

If CIA, FBI and the rest of the securties in U.S.A couldn’t save Jackie and her kids, did you really believe that Onassis could do so? If she wanted to live in another country, did she have to marry someonelse, someone like Onassis? Actually, both of them used each other perfectly. Jackie used his fortune and Onassis used her marriage to Kennedy for PR all over the world. Kennedy was loved and the most famous the President of U.S.A.

If JFK Snr dishonoured her, why didn’t she just walk away from all Kennedy world? Did she really take money from the her father-in-law not to divorce JFK Snr?

What did she do as the first lady of the country beside the renovation of White House?

JFK Snr kept her in his life as very good accesory. Although I adore JFK Snr, I would not approve his infidelity at all. But it was Jackie’s choice to stay married to him, am I wrong?

Hello BAMZSers. All the pics are still at Simply Brad….There are 19 pics and are gorgeous. Back to lurking mode

So, voting for Angelina as the most attractive woman of 2006, Johnny Depp as the most attractive man (Angie should have an A-lister sharing her cover) and Princess Mary of Denmark as the most elegant (for credibility, of course). Ah… and Brad for the weeky hunk. :)

Uffff, so tiring being a true fan, never thought so much work was involved. Newbie to this business I may be, but my heart is in the right place.

Also, I got a sudden urge to - after securing Angie’s gold medal star voting for J.Morrison (WTF?), Nic, Salma, Cate, Kylie, Emma something (WTF again?), even that brunette Queen… a good poll shouldn’t have a horseface near the podium and a victory is only significant if the runners-up are not in a category light-years away from that of the winner.

It was very uncommon for woman in the 50 and early 60’s to leave their husband. It was even more uncommon for woman to leave rich and powerful husband like JFK. In the Good Shepard interviews angelina alluded to this . I don’t agree with all the bitterness toward Jackie . Especially when it seems like JFK seems to be let off the hook by you for being unfaithful multiple times. I really have never been enamored by the Kennedy saga. I don’t hold it against Jackie for trying to keep her children safe. What she did was out of fear for her children safety and her love for her children.
