Mariana Klaveno: Wentworth Miller’s New Female Friend
Prison Break star Wentworth Miller was out and about with familiar female friend Mariana Klaveno last night (pictured below, not above). Went and Mariana attended a film screening at the Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood.
Went’s affinity for London eatery “Wagamamas” is present by his t-shirt. His love for The Gap (I think) is also highlighted by his man cardigan.
Mariana is also an actress and was Went’s date for the Emmys last year. And is that Mariana’s wallet? Does Went have a sugar mama?

I must admit, Went’s fashion is pretty awful, yet he can still rock a baseball cap when it’s dark outside. I would love to dress him an give him a totally new look. One that actually matches that beautiful face of his. Of course I would also like to undress him. LOL!! I have to stop these dirty thoughts. LOL!!!
I dunno. It’s just that every blog has hinted about him being gay. He says he’s not but I think he’s another Jake Gyllenhall who doesn’t want to alienate his female fan base. Ricky Martin still refuses to come out. I’ve heard fifty percent of hollywood is gay. Maybe if being gay wasn’t seen as a sin by so many in this country, more celebrities would come out of the closet. And I do think that these celebrities lie for their career. It’s sad that their career rests on their sexual preferences. I’m not trying to make being gay an issue. It’s the act of hiding one important facet of yourself for the sake of your career that’s disturbing. Blogs don’t make a big deal about the fact that a person is gay as much as the act of hiding it.
I think this so called actress ( I’ve never heard of her) might be using Wentworth for publicity given that nobody has heard of her until she showed up to the emmys as Wentworth’s date. Anybody with me on this one? Do you hear me knockin?… Well let me in!!! LOL!!!
Well, i have to admit i was a bit upset when i saw the pictures with that chick of his but when he is happy…that is all that matters. As for the gay issue: The man is STRAIGHT!! So…yeah…he is straight and that is about enough of that issue. It distrubs me that people would even think about him being gay. Even if he was, that wouldn’t change the fact he is a great actor. But it would kind of burn a bit because then he wouldn’t be interested in me…lol. But yeah, back to the brunette chick…she isn’t THAT pretty but she’s not ugly by any means. I also noticed that in each picture he isn’t even paying attention to her. He’s not holding her hand or anything. I don’t know if it is just me hoping he stays single or what but i don’t notice them being too close…then again i’m not around them 24/7 so i suppose that isn’t the best statement ever. He seems like a great person, loving, kind and real. With this said, I think that Wentworth is great period. Also, this girl is a friend he has said. I’m sorry guys, but I disagree with ALL of you. I believe that Went is well on his way toward expressing himself fully right now. He’s finally talking about producing/writing/directing/editing which is what I really think he wants to do anyway (HELLO, English Lit major!). These particular positions will allow him to pretty much be his own boss and thus allow him more personal time. I hate to say it ladies/gents, but I think he’s getting ready to wed and procreate! Hehe, how wonderful! Concerning Mariana, that poor girl. She is NOT ugly. I think they make a great couple (I’m still jealous, though). I don’t think he’s ignoring her. I think he’s trying to make sure that they don’t get mobbed.
I Googled Mariana after the Emmys and found no credits to her name. Maybe she’s only done independent films. I don’t her being with him is a publicity stunt and I think she’s going to be his wifey. He has said he wants a wife and children. He’s 34 and not getting any younger and I think he knows it.
I believe this ride toward success has open doors for Went to fulfill his life on a professional and personal basis. I bet his mom is like, “Went, where are my grandbabies?” :) He’s like, “They’re on the way soon, Mom.” I wish him all the best this year!

That doesn’t make any sense at all. He tried to get into the acting business for ten years and he just now succeeded who on earth would want to settle down when your at this point in your life.

I can’t compare him to any actor right now, but I’ve noticed that ALOT of them have tried the Wentworth-stare and it ain’t working. He perfected it and that is his trademark.

That Mariana chick is not an actress, she does PR or something else in the entertainment industry (I forget what) and that’s why you can’t find her via IMDB or google.
Also, and this has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I want him to make sweet, sweet love to me or something to that effect, but I don’t think that they’re going out. I think they’re friends. It is possible to have friends of the opposite sex you know. I would hate to think everytime that I went out with a male friend that people automatically assumed we were going out just because I was famous. Not least because I’m friends with some people who don’t have hollywood good looks (screw it I don’t have hollywood looks) and it would suck to hear them ripped apart by strangers because they were balding, or had a tummy, or crappy fashion sense and because they were with me.
Mariana is pretty. She has a good figure, a sweet smile and (because I’m currently obsessed with my own at the moment) awesome eyebrows. She actually looks a lot like Sarah Tancredi on Prison Break IMHO and I wish more people that looked like her were considered “acceptable” instead of the plastic-y standard we have now. Twenty years from now she’ll still be pretty, which is more than you can say about Lohan and co.
He looks genuinely happy in the candids where they’re standing in line. He is laughing and looks like he’s having fun. ‘Snuff for me. :)
And I love love love her boots; she looks so much nicer in colourful clothes than she did in that taupe-y dress at the awards show.
Wentworth is not predominately black. He is a mixed race person. His father is biracial himself, so he is comprised of many of GOD’s wonderful races on this planet. He can play whatever he wants to play by the way. They have never said he was white on the show by the way. His being biracial/multiracial may be the reason. He came out and said he was multiracial, something he did not have to do because of his fair complextion, but he chose to do this. I think it is admirable. Being a fair skinned person myself, identity is tough and you all always thrown into somebody’s standards and boxes; so him identifying with or without one thing is his business, not ours. He simply plays this character because he looks the part and better, he plays it well. Let’s try to make this world less about races and more about characteristics of greatness–this is what really matters.
No one knows for sure whether Went’s father is biracial. Went himself has only referred to his dad as black. Whatever the case, Went is gorgeous. If he and Mariana are a couple, I wish them the best.

I agree with everyones publicity stunt thing completely..it makes sense. Recently the gay rumors have been flooding the internet and everything (which could damage his career that he worked so hard to build up) and then we hear him state how hes not gay and everything. On top of that, on the same day these articles came out, we see him with a girl. Coincidence? I think not. Its just a publicity stunt n a stunt to save his career from falling apart because of the gay rumors
The only thing that would make me think publicity stunt is the fact that he’s now a GAP “model” and just maybe that corporation wants to be sure their clean image is not going to be muddled with Went and gay rumours…But that’s just being cynical. Softspoken, Went is hot in Hollywood right now. However, he is NOT just getting started. Like you said, his career is about 10 years in the making. That’s a long time. Went does like to act, he’s been doing since he was a child. He’s said it many times over, however, his passion is writing, and this is just my opinion. I believe, getting his face out there has open the door for him to do what he really wants. Many actors started out in the editing room (in lower positions, of course), went to the screen, then ended up back in the producers/directors chair. Clint Eastwood, George Clooney, even Aaron Spelling used to act. Now, I’m not saying I think he’s going to stop acting alltogether, but I do think he’s going to take a little time to write and put some his work out there.

No, friends of Went, she is not his girlfriend. SKat is right…Went is just about to gain control over his career. And part of that process will be coming out. He feels that he cannot do it yet and, unfortunately, he is probably right. my curiosity about WM was aroused when I saw a picture of him in a magazine and his name below the picture. i realized he was the son of someone i worked with by the same name. His dad is a lawyer who I knew for years and WM looks very much like his dad. I did not realize his dad was black, until he told me. His dad is very cool, bright and with a great sense of humor. If WM is anything like his dad, I know he is a great guy. My earlier comment reflected my own amazement at his tv role, being aware of his racial heritage. My personal opinion is that we all have african DNA and that multiracialism is a beautiful thing.

Right now there is much talk in the web about is or is he not gay. I think Fox cooked this whole ‘date’ up to protect their show. As other have said, this looked all too staged.
As for the aspect of him being gay or not, this is his life, let him live it. Why must we demand someone tell us one or the other. Whatever-leave him alone, he has enought to deal with right now.

When I said this seemed to me like a publicity stunt I meant for her. You see this is a way to get your name out there… be seen with an extremely hot actor!! You guys are so lost (a lot of you), that’s just my opinion. The guy from NSYNC, I wasn’t a fan so I never heard about him denying his sexuality to the public. As for Wentworth, he has spoken. He said that he’s not gay. Why is that so hard to believe? Not every gorgeous guy in Hollywood is gay. So they say 95% of male Hollywood is gay, well maybe he IS in that 5% that isn’t.

For the record, I’ve always liked nice guys. I’ve never questioned a man’s sexuality because he seemed nice. And trust me, with Went becoming comfortable enough to put his work out there, get ready to see a whole new, wonderful, (possibly even dard) side of him.

Marianna is an actress and has another role coming up. Her pic suddenly appeared on IMDB after she went to the Emmy’s with Mr. Miller. For people who said that Lance said he was straight. He actually was at one point until he realized men were for him. That happens to many gay men, they start out dating women and change over. It happened to Danny Pintaro too (Jonathan from Who’s the Boss). But I noticed in both instances they said that they did fall in love with the women they were with and were broken hearted when they broke up with them. They have pined over women like any straight man. Pintauro said he really had no clue that he was gay until someone pointed out to him that he might be. Now he says he is caught in tragic “gay” melodrama relationships. A man has the right to do whatever he wants. If he is gay and wants to get married to a woman and have kids and spend the rest of his life with her, let him do it. It is “his” life after all. Gay men are only bent out of shape because they think this is a testament to their relationship being wrong but it isn’t really, it is a testament to the fact that a man can live his life the way he chooses to. Remember the inital point of marriage is that it is contract not a testament of love. That came later but how much love lasts the course of an entire marriage (not many especially today). Marriage was meant only for the purpose of producing heirs and to give the woman a stable home life. Many cultures taught that love was to be found outside of the marriage with someone of the opposite or the same sex. I think sexuality is fluid for many people and most folks are actually bi not straight. But we know nothing about Went personally, not the people on this board, not Perez, not anyone but Went and his family (his family pics aren’t even out there). I know Perez said he has a friend who dated him and now conveniently they are no longer speaking. But where are the pics like he had with Lance and Doogie. There would be no legal grounds for a suit so where are the pictures. Many gay men are very queenish and love to lie and embellish. Some guys are good looking some are not. Science says that only 5 percent of men are good looking, the rest are garbage. But taking care of one’s appearance and being respectful and kind can go a long way to making a person look good. If anything, I doubt if he would date a yakky queen who would be in Perez’s circle. Perez lies when he says that Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton are his friends. They are not friends, they are all leeching off of each other. Just that statement alone shows how much he embellishes and jumps to huge conclusions. Just cause I let you sit at my table doesn’t mean that we are friends. Also, his stories change, first the T-mobile story (no pictures mind you), then the I have sources thing, then I have a friend who dated him. The stories just grow and grow. They shape and shift to fit what he needs at the moment. Does he have proof, who is this friend, put him out there and let him make a formal statement. Why won’t this dude come out??!!

If Went says he’s not gay then I totally believe him. But if (some time in the future) it did turn out that he was then I think I’ll be a little bit disappointed that he thought it necessary to lie to protect his career. I agree with others that his sexuality is nobody’s business. There are so many great actors who are gay. What difference does it make to anyone else. But I think honesty is pretty important!

Oh Cocot13, I was being sarcastic about the T-mobile pics but thanks! :) My comments were meant to point out Hey it was a T-mobile party (camera phones everywhere) and no one got a picture that clearly shows him, duh, you know that is BS. I just meant to point out that it was a little too convenient and that Perez’s stories keep changing and are very inconsistent. He never mentioned the ex-bf before but all of a sudden he mentions him now. And then he says he was afraid of Went’s people suing which is BS because the companies that are suing him now are suing him for using pictures without proper licensing. But they do it to sell papers. This is the most news you can make about a male actor is that he might be “gay”. Think about, a man sleeping with an underage girl or engaging in group activities ain’t news. Straight men have always been perverted but it is usually kept quiet but no one is ever surprised by it when it comes to light. Alright, they may be surprised but it isn’t treated the same as being gay. Gay men unfortunately will dig their own grave with these witch hunt type tactics (they should really ban together to put Perez out of the business). I agree with the gay gentleman who said, people really should stop having these discussions as this works against the cause and pushes people back ino the closet. Gays should have it just as easy as the straights. No explanations necessary. They should be able to be with their boyfriends (and if they are bi, they should be able to be with whoever without having to define themselves) or girlfriends (if they are women). I don’t believe folks need warning or need to be prepped, it makes it sound like someone is about to get shot or something. I just looked up Mariana today because I couldn’t remember the name of something they said she was going to be in that I saw yesterday. Yesterday she had a couple of things listed on he imdb page but all of a sudden there are like 5 or 6 new things for her including a movie with Dean Caine coming out this year, there wasn’t anything listed for 07 yesterday. In total she has almost like 10 items on her page and her picture is up there.
I would think if this was a publicity stunt, that they would have appeared more together (cuddly etc) and perhaps better dressed. I really think that they are just friends (as they have said before), who happened to go out to a movie. I feel sorry for them being over analysed and questioned about everything they do.

Everyone will always have their opinions, no matter what he says. So just accept that now, or no point in reading everyone’s take on all sorts of things about his life.
I’ve seen an interview he did in France a few month ago where asking how he deals with the fact of getting famous. (I tried to find it on youtube but apparently it hadn’t been put on)
He answered that when he was in middle school or high school (can’t remenber) his teacher told him that if he wanted to be a star he had to make two list : one with everything he didn’t want people to know (he said ie when you were a kid and you kicked the dog and you don’t want people to know you did something like that) . and another list where you put what you don’t mind peope to know. Then you take the first list and you put it in the second coz that’s what happen when you become famous.
So I think it is an argument to say that if he says something (like I’m not gay ie) it is the truth.

Just cause they weren’t cuddly doesn’t meant it wasn’t for publicity. If they were cuddly it would be appear to be a very obvious ploy (especially with the article having recently come out declaring that he wasn’t gay and all, that would be too much. I work in PR so I have experience with it.) Besides, he doesn’t appear to like living his life in public so for him to all of a sudden be all over a woman out in the open would really speak volumes (in the wrong direction with the hail storm of controversy). If I’m right and this is PR, they really should have intervened long before now. I just say, let the little guy do his thing and stay out of it. Plus her wallet was out and it appears she paid for herself. Maybe it is just a friend thing and it just happened to coincide with the article coming out.
I too work in PR, and they don’t seem like they are parading for publicity. Yes being all over her would be too much, but being so standoffish with her also doesn’t do anything image wise.

So he’s been modeling for a long, LONG time before he started PB. You should take a look at some of the pics of him throughout the years. A lot of them have come from his being a model.

Well PB fans and specially Went fans. I just have one idea on my mind…would some of you like to be chased and analized all the time? Wouldn`t you like to just be treated as a normal person? I guess YES is the answer for both questions. This guy has worked patiently and taken the whole risk for approx. 10 years to get it done and suddenly someone is trying to deal with his private life to spoil his effort!!!. This is a sad and annoying situation..but above everything very very unfair.
Whatever he is ..straight, bi, gay is His business not ours. He has made (in my view) an excellent work on PB and this can be the beginning of something really great. This kind of things about sexuality should not make a part of it. I think we are here to judge (in the good sense) what he can show us behind the screen and not out of it. Why dont we take him as what he is..an actor. Is it so hard to understand his life has been changed into something so huge that sometimes is just “too much” to carry on with a smile on his face (though he seems to be relaxed all the time) even if loosing privacy is the “high” bill to pay for anyone who chooses this profession.
Time to be less childish and start to respect others lives as much as we want to be respected.

Get real people… him being straight does’t change the fact that he will not fall for any of you… and if he really is gay, it wont burn your chances of being the love of his life… he wont become ugly the moment he comes out or anything… so why do you give a damn about his sexual orientation… maybe if everyone stopped paying attention to those little details half of hollywood (the gay half) would come out…
I don’t know what to say but i think he has a problem!He is so beautiful that even Angelina Jolie would fall in love with him,and he dates the most ugly women on the face of the earth!I’m sorry but my mom is 42,and she looks better that all that girls,and dresses better then them!And i am not lying!Come on Went,find a girl that suites you!
You people are hilarious. The girl in the pictures is known to her friends as Ana, and I work with her (at her “day job”). She and Wentworth have been friends since long before he was famous. They met in an acting class YEARS ago and have remained friends. He’s not “toting” her around town to help her get famous, as she’s well on her way all on her own (search for “The Sitter” on YouTube…she’s a really great actress). He’s hanging out with her because THEY ARE FRIENDS. And she’s not ugly, she’s gorgeous, not to mention incredibly sweet. That shy smile on her face is completely genuine.
