Mariana Klaveno: Wentworth Miller’s New Female Friend
Prison Break star Wentworth Miller was out and about with familiar female friend Mariana Klaveno last night (pictured below, not above). Went and Mariana attended a film screening at the Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood.
Went’s affinity for London eatery “Wagamamas” is present by his t-shirt. His love for The Gap (I think) is also highlighted by his man cardigan.
Mariana is also an actress and was Went’s date for the Emmys last year. And is that Mariana’s wallet? Does Went have a sugar mama?

Here are some choice quotes from Went’s recent interview with the Australian Associated Press (AAP):
- On not having a MySpace page: “I have people calling my agent asking which myspace page is mine and there are about a dozen. And the fact is I’ve never been on MySpace. People posing as me is a little unsettling, a little frightening… it disturbs me on a profound level.”
- On his sexuality: “No, I’m not gay. I know these rumors are out there … I’m cool with the fact that they exist, I mean this is about fantasy. Certain people are going to have certain fantasies, if someone wants to imagine me with a woman, or a man or one of each that’s cool with me as long as you keep watching the show.”
- On his plans to direct his own movie: “I’m now at the stage of my career where it’s not just about the parts that are out there, but it’s about generating your own parts. I want to write the words that come out of my mouth and I want to be in the editing room, and choosing how my story is going to get told.”

Good grief! Leave the poor guy and his date alone! He impresses me as a man with a lot of CLASS and good upbringing — which many of you on here seem to be lacking. Why does he have to drape himself over the body of some starlet every time he leaves the house just to “prove” a point? Frankly, it’s refreshing to see someone with good manners, CLASS and talent, too!

I agree Kitty good manners, class and talent are rare these days, but I admit am also jelous of this Mariana girl, I kind of think of WENT as mine, now I do not know where I got that impression but I do not think he should date a particular girl and leave the rest of us in the cold. I will go with Lola, I think we should all be given a chance to snog him. He is such a dish!

What really should happen is Sarah Wayne Callies needs to get divorced and she and Went should get married!! Yeah I agree some of the girls out there do seem kind of deliusional. Went was talking about fans like that scare him in one of his interviews. People like that scare me too
Softspoken, Went is hot in Hollywood right now. However, he is NOT just getting started. Like you said, his career is about 10 years in the making. That’s a long time. Went does like to act, he’s been doing since he was a child. He’s said it many times over, however, his passion is writing, and this is just my opinion. I believe, getting his face out there has open the door for him to do what he really wants. Many actors started out in the editing room (in lower positions, of course), went to the screen, then ended up back in the producers/directors chair. Clint Eastwood, George Clooney, even Aaron Spelling used to act. Now, I’m not saying I think he’s going to stop acting alltogether, but I do think he’s going to take a little time to write and put some his work out there.
As for you, Cocot13, you sound as if you know a little something that the rest of don’t. You sound as if you have some inside info. Have you met Went before? Do you work with his agent? Say it isn’t so. I hate you if you do! (just kidding) :)
No, friends of Went, she is not his girlfriend. SKat is right…Went is just about to gain control over his career. And part of that process will be coming out. He feels that he cannot do it yet and, unfortunately, he is probably right. He is under a lot of pressure right now about this issue and the most we as his fans can do is just be supportive and continue to enjoy his work. He really is a sweet, smart guy. He’s a good actor too…he just happens to be gay. Don’t attack him…enough ppl are doing that right now.
Mariaruggeiro, he acknowleges who he is. Whether or not he decides to delve into our (I’m Black) is another thing. And I could be totally wrong here, but maybe he has and doesn’t care for it. And for those of you who choose to attack me for my words. Face the facts, we African Americans do have our own culture, unspoken language, and it’s not just all about Hip Hop. I’m with Went about not preaching to people when they make racist comments around him because of their ignorance. However, I got really angry when I saw the pic of him with the Tigertones and one of them was in blackface. I was like, “How can he put up with that sh#$t?!” To me, that just crosses the line in so many ways!

my curiosity about WM was aroused when I saw a picture of him in a magazine and his name below the picture. i realized he was the son of someone i worked with by the same name. His dad is a lawyer who I knew for years and WM looks very much like his dad. I did not realize his dad was black, until he told me. His dad is very cool, bright and with a great sense of humor. If WM is anything like his dad, I know he is a great guy. My earlier comment reflected my own amazement at his tv role, being aware of his racial heritage. My personal opinion is that we all have african DNA and that multiracialism is a beautiful thing.
Think timing in this. Marianna hs worked for Fox and may still. Wentworth is now a hot Fox property. PB is starting it’s second half this month. Right now there is much talk in the web about is or is he not gay. I think Fox cooked this whole ‘date’ up to protect their show. As other have said, this looked all too staged.
As for the aspect of him being gay or not, this is his life, let him live it. Why must we demand someone tell us one or the other. Whatever-leave him alone, he has enought to deal with right now.

First off… My impression of Wentworth Miller is that he’s:
1. A classy man! Just a complete act of class!!!
2. GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS, and more GORGEOUS
3. Smart and Educated
4. An extremely talented actor.
5. And completely irresistible.
Secondly… If by chance Went & his lady friend are an item, then good for him!!!
WHO said that?!?! wasn’t me!?!? lol.

Ok then, it seems everyone is getting a little out of control, with the gay issue, it is just so dry, one minute everyone is like” hes such a good actor” and the next people are sparring with eachother about his sexuality, thats nobodys buisness, who he dates, his private life, is just that private!
There are an awful lot of delusional fans who need to grow up, Wentworth is an adult, he can do as he pleases, and he isnt going to wait around in the hope, a crazy fan will be the object of his affections, he is living his life as he wants to, and some people ought to follow suit.

When I said this seemed to me like a publicity stunt I meant for her. You see this is a way to get your name out there… be seen with an extremely hot actor!! Then again it could just as well be a stunt for him as well… It keeps the fans interested, questioning, wanting more, and it keeps the show in mind so you don’t forget to watch it January 22nd. You know, it keeps the show in mind cuz the media keeps shoving the main character in your face by setting up these publicity stunts.
