Britney’s Golden Night

Britney Spears was decked out in gold everything last night as she partied at Area Nightclub in L.A. with a female friend. Brit carried her own CD — presumably a track off her upcoming album — into the club and probably gave clubbers a sneak peek. What I would give for a preview too!!

2:34 am’s post is exactly what i’m talking about. it’s like everyone suddenly drops in IQ when they talk about britney. i’m not defending her actions in the least, but i am saying it’s irresponsible to pass such harsh judgments based on stupid tabloid stories. pictures yes, but stupid stories where “sources say” something are not fact. just look at the pictures and call her fat/****** and stuff. i’m sure that’s fun for everyone. but god, the rest is all just speculation and you guys treat it like it’s real news.

The reason people are so discusted with Britney is because she had it all, and through indolent, self absorbed behavior, she has alienated her fan base and blames the media for it. Is everyone’s memory so short as to forget her tearful plea that she just wanted to be left alone to raise her boo boos? I actuall felt sorry for her.

I don’t hate her, that’s ridiculous, as is the inference that I am “jealous of her life”-Hardly. But her recent behavoir is hardly that of someone who just wants to raise her kids and be out of the lime light. At least Pam Anderson doesn’t make these claims about her personal lifestyle. Britney does.

Britney Spears represents all that is wrong with reckless, spoiled, illresponsible young celebrities these days. The sloveningly dressed, drunken behavior, including genital flashing, brings consequences. She has to expect that. She cannot be Teen Pop Queen and continue to act like this. Everyone else seems to be able understand this, I don’t know why some people can’t.
