Brad Pitt And The Skipper Too
Brad Pitt rode the “Red Hooker” and enjoyed a beer and ciggy stick in the Virgin Islands earlier this week, on break from filming The Case of Benjamin Button co-starting Cate Blanchett. More pictures of baby Zahara playing on the beach with her nanny and bodyguard after the jump!
Here are some select quotes from Angelina Jolie’s interview with Elle UK:
- On looking for the right somebody: “I wanted was to find somebody who, first and foremost, was a great father, because I was already a parent.”
- On Brad being amazing: “We came together because we’re similar. He’s a really amazing father - he didn’t just become that around me. He’s a thoughtful, intelligent man.”
- On Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh: “The world has this opinion about the difference, then you wonder if there is a difference. In fact I found the opposite. I think I feel so much more for Madd and Zee because they’re survivors, they came through so much. In some way they’re strangers because they had this life before me. Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born, I have less inclination to feel for her. I have to do the opposite from what I expected! I met my other kids when they were six months, they came with a personality. A newborn really is this… blob! But now she’s starting to have a personality. The three of them are very funny together, very loud and in each other’s faces. She’s grown up with Zee screaming in her face in the morning! But, yes, I’m conscious that I have to make sure I don’t ignore her needs, just because I think the others are more vulnerable.”
- On the kids rebelling one day: “We were trying to figure out how because we shoot guns in movies, we have motorbikes and planes, and mummy’s covered in tattoos. All that’s left for them to do is to become Mormons.”

Long time lurker here…This time I felt I had to post. I can’t stop laughing at some of the people on here who can’t see out of the ordinary language being quoted by Angelina Jolie. Since when did Angie start speaking ghetto slang with “My baby’s daddy” ROTFL and “knocked up” Just because people who are fans and have followed them for years question the article doesn’t mean anything.

How long as Angie been using “ghetto slang”? Probably for as long as she’s been living with Brad…who DOES use ghetto slang and watches Run’s House. Brad said at the LA Babel premiere that he had to “…get back to my peeps”. A Plan B collaborator said Brad said something to him like “you’ve got wicked skills”. And the phrases “baby daddy” and “baby mama” have crept into the common vernacular of middle America, so why would Angie have not heard it used before? The phrase “knocked up” has been around for dog years and Angie did go to high school, where it’s used quite a bit. Plus, even the Philippine newspaper reporter commented that he thought Brad & angie are staring to “sound alike”, which I took to mean they use the same words and language. People who live together do that, ya know.

A UK publication printed a whole interview by Nicole Kidman which had alleged quotes about Angelina. Everyone said it had to be true and it was proven to be false. It happens

Great job Jared & Audrey. Thanks! I would not even discuss about their parenting skills & loving their children. I see Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt with their beloved children is good indication already of how loving parents these two are. No question about it. Darn, they’re even much better than most parents out there. So why nag about it. I think the haters are doing the questioning & making it a bigger deal out of this.

Seriously if we have so much doubt about the Elle mag., we should stop talking about it. Fans here are hardly wrong about things they are suspicious about. There are going to be may fresh interviews since they have many movies to promote.

The whole discussion is getting very tedious. What a waste of time over a ‘cut-and-paste’ dubious interview ! And for those who keep saying that Zahara is daddy’s girl. stop that ! it doesn’t sound cute at all. I am sure he loves both his little girls equally much.

C´mon !…People were talking about the same thing in the other thread and they are still talking about here. Please stop it. Angie loves all their children equally. There´s no doubt about that.
I´m tired of people referring to Mad and Z as “adopted”, they are their children. Period.

As a mother, I think she is discovering motherhood, a very special motherhood of having tow adopted children from different culture AND a biological new born. That’s more than I could imagine I can do myself with two kids. She is as usual, blatantly honest to herself and not afraid to express herself at the moment she is feeling something, which is disarming and frightening to more hypocritical and dishonest people. Anyway, Jolie is as polar opposite to the constantly lying MISS Aniston in every way. A breath of very, very fresh air for Brad. Miss Aniston can’t be honest to anybody, not even to herself, perhaps to her own TRUE sexuality.

Hey Lou - something just occured to me as I read your post…is it fate or what that ZEE WAS BORN THE DAY AFTER BRAD AND X SPLIT UP?
For my new year resolution, I told myself that I have to read the thread from the beginning, not to read it backward. I have finally finish reading this whole thread, amazing.
I know that everyone had talked about the same topic in the last thread and there are so many intelligent responses to the negatives questions and opinions.
I “feel” that as true fans of Angie, I “love” her as an actress, as a person, as a humanitarian. So far she has exceed my expectation of her as an actress and as for everything else, she has exceed her own expectation as a person ( IMHO)
I “love” all of her interviews, I “feel” that she has given us a glimpse of her loving personal life that we should “feel” happy for her not CSI it ( borrow from PT).

As a fan of AJ I am saddened by her comments. Not because I think she loves Shiloh less (although I did have some thought on that while she was pregnant) but because she is looking at Zee and Mad in what COULD HAVE happened to them. The fact is, is that it did not happen therefore there should be no difference in how she feels or making herself feel one way or the other.
This is no fault of hers of course, she is young and new to this. So I can rationalize her thought processes. I think her and Brad make a wonderful couple and I hope with his relaxed ways he can teach her how to relax as well, including not thinking of the woulda coulda shoulda stuff and just think of the here and now.
On a side note, those pics of Zee are awesome. They capture her at ease and smiling, something that one does not always get to see with Zee.
thank God for Angelina Jolie! she always makes things interested andmind-boggling for others. she can actually push people’s button, can’t she? whether she loves her children equally or not is not actually our business. at least those children are healthy, happy and safe. and that’s love, right?
I dn’t think it is right to take this baby’s picture and publish it on the net. she is not a public figure. she is entitled to her privacy too.
