Brad Pitt And The Skipper Too

Brad Pitt And The Skipper Too

Brad Pitt rode the “Red Hooker” and enjoyed a beer and ciggy stick in the Virgin Islands earlier this week, on break from filming The Case of Benjamin Button co-starting Cate Blanchett. More pictures of baby Zahara playing on the beach with her nanny and bodyguard after the jump!

Here are some select quotes from Angelina Jolie’s interview with Elle UK:

  • On looking for the right somebody: “I wanted was to find somebody who, first and foremost, was a great father, because I was already a parent.”
  • On Brad being amazing: “We came together because we’re similar. He’s a really amazing father - he didn’t just become that around me. He’s a thoughtful, intelligent man.”
  • On Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh: “The world has this opinion about the difference, then you wonder if there is a difference. In fact I found the opposite. I think I feel so much more for Madd and Zee because they’re survivors, they came through so much. In some way they’re strangers because they had this life before me. Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born, I have less inclination to feel for her. I have to do the opposite from what I expected! I met my other kids when they were six months, they came with a personality. A newborn really is this… blob! But now she’s starting to have a personality. The three of them are very funny together, very loud and in each other’s faces. She’s grown up with Zee screaming in her face in the morning! But, yes, I’m conscious that I have to make sure I don’t ignore her needs, just because I think the others are more vulnerable.”
  • On the kids rebelling one day: “We were trying to figure out how because we shoot guns in movies, we have motorbikes and planes, and mummy’s covered in tattoos. All that’s left for them to do is to become Mormons.”

Chi Chi, # 34, thank you so much for taking the time to get the article to us. I was horrified when I read the post with the comments taken out of context. I could not imagine why she would say those things. But they are just that–taken out of context, and when you read the complete article she sounds just wonderful and I was so relieved. If you guys are as disturbed as I was, read the article. Thanks again, Chi Chi…

I shudder to think some of these posters are mothers.Carole that was one of the stupidiest posts of the day.Kara I simply had to shake my head upon reading yours.

It is not what you fans say all the time. That he left his wife, because she was not willing to have his children. He met one, who always say she would never have biological children. So she did what she had to do to keep him. Nothing wrong with that.

She feels guilty having Shiloh. Because i think she loves her more than the other two. So in trying to suppport the adopted ones, it does not comes out too well.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

How this should read is: Because Kara loves Shiloh more than the other two.

And Carole contradicts herself in her post, so, she doesn’t even know what she means.

Oh, it’s called “denial”. They DO know that Brad fell for Angie HARD but they are so miserable and loveless, they don’t want it to be so, so at least in message boards, it makes them feel a bit better to deny their love for each other.

The basic stupidity of their comments lies on : Why WOULN’T Brad fall for a gorgeous woman who is her own person, with a heart full of love, a tender mother delighting in her little boy, funny, friendly, with a smile that lights up an entire building, talented as well, who handles her fame in a great way?

If Brad didn’t fall for ALL THIS, what on earth would he fall for?????? A lying, manipulative, sterile (in heart and body), SHALLOW AS ALL H*LL, AMBITIOUS to the detriment of all else, common-looking, self-centered, ignorant, lazy (in heart and intellect), insignificant little miss?

You people are something else!! To keep Brad from what exactly?? The man had fell in love with her and he was involved with Madd and Zahara long before she got pregnant. And as she have stated “he came naturally to them”. She didn’t need to get pregnant to keep him. The man have made his dictions about his life. He is not a child. He wanted to be where he is right now.

Angie never said that she doesn’t want to be a biological mother. Please find me a quote where she says “No. I will never be a biological mother in my life, I don’t want to have biological kids”. There is nowhere to be found. The only think Angie have said is that she knew that she was capable to conceive but it wasn’t her priority or imminent plan. And that she was comfortable in adopting her kids. But as she had stated “thinks fell differently and she got pregnant”. She found a man in her life who she knew he loved Madd and Zahara to death and she could trust him enough to have a biological child with him.

Sometimes people can really have true feelings in their harts. Don’t judge from your self. It’s not that uncommon as you think it is.

chanelconspiracy @ 01/06/2007 at 5:54 pm

Those Elle photos are super unflattering of her. Yikes.

remember da truth @ 01/06/2007 at 5:55 pm

I can’t believe that people would actually take what she is saying to mean she doesn’t love Shiloh as much as Mad and Z. How sick are people that they want to see the worst always, so they parse every sentence of hers to find anything they can latch onto to paint this woman as evil. They can’t stand that she is beautiful, has beautiful children, a thriving career, a loving man, and is respected and liked worldwide.

Well, it’s obvious that she’s saying she has fears for the two who did NOT come from a privileged background, is overprotective and overconcerned about them. She even goes on to say that the love is the same for them all (DUH!!!) but as anyone who is a parent (and is honest) will tell you, the love might be the same, but the feelings toward the children are as different as how you love different relatives. They ARE different people. Sometimes one parent clicks with one child and the other parent clicks with another one. This is so normal, that only those looking for something to complain about will find fault with it. Parents also have different rules for different kids, and sometimes can rely on one more than the other. Kids have personalities, and while one might always do their homework, another has to be chided into it. These things are normal, and it would be normal for a parent to say, “So and so gives me no trouble, but so and so aggravates me!” Doesn’t mean that parent doesn’t love both kids.

It is also completely normal for parents of children who have nearly died to hover a bit more over that one, to worry more. And that is what Angie is saying. She is less inclined to feel the need to worry, to be so concerned over Shiloh, who was “privileged” from the start, than for Z who nearly died, and Maddox who would have died had he not been taken away and adopted.

I also find it ironic that the same people who are always trying to see if she loves Mad and Z LESS than her bio child are now all over past pics and trying to claim that they’ve seen it all along — she doesn’t love Shiloh! It’s all about the other kids! Give me a break. She loves them all. She is more worried and protective for those who had no prenatal care and nearly died. That is all. It’s a no-brainer — except for those with no brains.

think positive! @ 01/06/2007 at 5:57 pm

That should have been

“The man have made his decisions about his life.”

After her comment,I think it will be hard for her to have a second for Brad. She feels guilty enough already. It is going to be a hude awakening for Brad. Since he has been with that women ,i do not like him anymore.

Keep in mind that Angie did not marry him if she really wants to trap him, “We are both legally bound to the children but not to each other.” Angie’s Vogue interview. Brad is free to walk away or return to Jen anytime he chooses. Brad and Angie are only bonded with love.

It doesn’t get any more pathetic than this:

I agree Angie should choose her words more carefully, because anything she says will be misconscrued. Angie loves all of her children equally, she just means, when she looks at Madd and Zee she see’s what a hellish life they could have had.

Oscar watchers narrow list of top film nominees By Bob Tourtellotte
Fri Jan 5, 5:49 PM ET

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Hollywood experts on Friday narrowed their guesses for best film Oscar candidates to a short list including widely touted musical “Dreamgirls” and crime thriller “The Departed,” after seeing this week’s key award nominations.

Close behind on the short list are comedy “Little Miss Sunshine” and searing cultural drama “Babel.” Several industry pundits caution that the final spot on the list of five vying for the movies’ top honor could go to one of a range of films.

“The Queen,” an inside look at the British royals, director Clint Eastwood’s “Letters from Iwo Jima,” which tells the Japanese side of the World War II battle, September 11 drama “United 93,” and the comeback story this season, “Bobby,” about the legacy of former U.S. Senator Robert Kennedy, are all being given a shot — if even a slim one in some cases.

“It’s an incredibly stable group, but it will be a wide open race” when the five nominees are named, said David Poland, who runs the Moviecitynews.com Web site.

The world’s top film awards, the Oscars — or Academy Awards — are given out annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills, made up of actors, actresses, directors, producers and other movie industry professionals. This year, Oscar nominees will be named on January 23, and winners will be unveiled in a star-filled Hollywood gala on February 25.

This past week, nominees unveiled by the Producers Guild of America and Screen Actors Guild helped define top contenders because many guild members are also Oscar voters. And over the next 10 days, several crucial events take place in the Hollywood sport of Oscar watching.

On Tuesday, the Directors Guild of America, names its nominees and historically DGA contenders correlate strongly with Oscars. “The Directors Guild will influence the race greatly. It always does,” said USA Today critic Claudia Puig.

OF GUILDS AND GLOBES

Critical favorite “Letters” would see its Oscar chances rise if the directors single out Eastwood. The same is true for Britain’s Stephen Frears with “The Queen” and Paul Greengrass for “United 93,” and “Babel’s” position as a true Oscar contender would solidify if Mexico’s Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu made the DGA’s list.

Two days later, the Writers Guild of America picks nominee for screenplays, and on January 15, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association gives out its Golden Globe awards, which will help indicate choices in the best actor and actress Oscar races.

The experts said the best actress race appears to be down to five candidates who mirror SAG’s picks this week.

Those five are Helen Mirren playing Queen Elizabeth in “The Queen,” Judi Dench as a manipulative teacher in “Notes on a Scandal,” Meryl Streep portraying a wicked fashion editor in “The Devil Wears Prada,” Spanish beauty Penelope Cruz as a working-class woman in “Volver” and Kate Winslet playing a woman in an extra-marital affair in “Little Children.”

“We seem to have these ladies locked in,” said Tom O’Neil, columnist for Theenvelope.com.

The race for best actor is less settled. The sure things seem to be Forest Whitaker playing dictator Idi Amin in “The Last King of Scotland,” Peter O’Toole as an older man smitten with a young woman in “Venus” and Will Smith portraying a man overcoming life’s obstacles in “The Pursuit of Happyness.”

Leonardo DiCaprio also seems to be a good bet, but the question is for what role: a diamond smuggler in “Blood Diamond” or an undercover cop in “The Departed.”

Finally, relative newcomer Ryan Gosling playing a drug abusing teacher in low-budget “Half-Nelson” is given an edge to make the fifth Oscar nomination spot.

The Top 10 will be sent straight to Jennifer Aniston’s rep, and who knows one of them could get the ultimate prize — a place in Jen’s lonely heart!

No. Actually there is something really wrong. With your brain!! Brad had insisted how much he wanted a family with lots of CHILDREN. He didn’t care if it would be biological or via adoption. And as I said Brad was already a FATHER with Madd and Zahara before Angie got pregnant with Shiloh. He found the family he was yearning for. So Angie didn’t have to do something to “keep” him.

It’s just amazes me how the haters are constantly ignoring the existence of Madd and Zahara at some certain points.

. His movie is a testimony to what i am saying. He wanted the wh… he got her, now he has to pay for that, by losing some fans.
