Brad Pitt And The Skipper Too
Brad Pitt rode the “Red Hooker” and enjoyed a beer and ciggy stick in the Virgin Islands earlier this week, on break from filming The Case of Benjamin Button co-starting Cate Blanchett. More pictures of baby Zahara playing on the beach with her nanny and bodyguard after the jump!
Here are some select quotes from Angelina Jolie’s interview with Elle UK:
- On looking for the right somebody: “I wanted was to find somebody who, first and foremost, was a great father, because I was already a parent.”
- On Brad being amazing: “We came together because we’re similar. He’s a really amazing father - he didn’t just become that around me. He’s a thoughtful, intelligent man.”
- On Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh: “The world has this opinion about the difference, then you wonder if there is a difference. In fact I found the opposite. I think I feel so much more for Madd and Zee because they’re survivors, they came through so much. In some way they’re strangers because they had this life before me. Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born, I have less inclination to feel for her. I have to do the opposite from what I expected! I met my other kids when they were six months, they came with a personality. A newborn really is this… blob! But now she’s starting to have a personality. The three of them are very funny together, very loud and in each other’s faces. She’s grown up with Zee screaming in her face in the morning! But, yes, I’m conscious that I have to make sure I don’t ignore her needs, just because I think the others are more vulnerable.”
- On the kids rebelling one day: “We were trying to figure out how because we shoot guns in movies, we have motorbikes and planes, and mummy’s covered in tattoos. All that’s left for them to do is to become Mormons.”
UPDATE :: Apologies, Brad Pitt Beach gallery has been closed. Angelina Jolie Elle UK February 2007 scans have been added.

Wow, Angelina’s a bigger b**** than I thought. To say what she did about her own child is disgusting. It’s not Shiloh’s fault she was born. If Saint Angelina didn’t want a biological child then she shouldn’t have had one. Ugh, she disgusts me. I can’t wait for Shiloh’s “mommy dearest” type autobiography that she’ll write when she’s grown up. I’ll be first in line to buy it!
You are a sicko, Toto. She talks as it is…you give love to all kids and she stresses that she is trying to love them equally .That is exactly what she says and you turn it again.Pffff.
And Shiloh will be allright, thank you!Better than having a mum as Brit thr party ****, Sharon the coke heron and all these crazed up people.Jolie is doing a fine job - go cry to x altar cause now “adoption isn’t my stuff” talks about adopting- lying cow.
Anyway-lovely family!!
I love them to bits and all they do is so ballanced that is amazing- their strength is inspiring.

I would imagine it would be easier on you then to not be on a thread about a woman you loathe so much, no?
Don’t want your blood pressure to go up.
Angie loves all the children equally!
When she says Shiloh is born in privilege, she’s right… just think the tamtam the whole media did just to take a picture of the new born, the way the public payed attention to it, etc. ! Considering this situation, she has to be aware of the other children who are not biologically hers, but who are more vulnerable because of that! Saying this does not mean that she loves Shiloh less. Angelina also says that she has to be careful, that being too sensitive for her to adopted kids, she also doesn’t want Shiloh be neglected perhaps in the sense that Shiloh is less vulnerable.
Don’t project your own expectations what you consider as right or wrong on Angelina! and think she is this and that, and you get angry, just because you want her saying what you expect to say and please you! She does not live for pleasing people, but living for her own truth. This is what you really can learn from her!
thanks jared for fixing the quote

Maddox hasn’t been disadvantaged for 4.6 yrs nor Zahara for 1.5 yrs. LMAO.
The article is a mishmash of a number of interviews she did with quotes taken out of context and the writer’s comments here and there.
Who did Angelina’s 2003 Elle UK interview? Was it the same person?
————————————-
I wanted to comment on that one last night but unfortunately I couldn’t.
Obviously Angie is talking about what they have been through and how unprivileged they where (living in orphanages, surrounded by diseases) BEFORE they where adopted. She is talking about the PAST not their PRESENT. She is not talking about how they are living now. She is talking about the time they were born. She said they are “survivors”… I don’t know why some are still getting confused.
I know that UK publication can cut and paste an interview and even fabricate things from their asses. It doesn’t matter if it’s legimate or not. Every UK paper is pure TRASH!! But even if the interview is real and new there is nothing wrong in what she said. It’s completely normal!!
Lets move on from the “Elle ” iinterview… with some news : http://www.thedesertsun.com/apps/pbcs.dll/articleAID=/20070107/EVENTS01/701070314
and check Brad pics in the photo gallery n°5,7,8,9,10, 15,16,17,33,34,35,41,42,46,47,48.
Hi,
My English is not so good, so sorry for mistakes.
I think I know what Angelina was talking about in her interview. I have my 7 years old son (biological one) and 2 years old daughter (adopted from Chine when she was 8 months old). I love my son with all my heart and so I do with my daughter. But I am more protective and sensitive and caring with my daughter then I was with my son at the same age, and that’s because of how they spent first months of their lives.
Any mother being pregnant and having baby (in the normal conditions) knows how much care and love and time and body contact and protection a baby needs and how much we all (normal psychological and physical healthy mothers) give to our babies. We all read about and also feel babies need for our unconditional love and care and even when we are tired and sleepy and can’t even think clearly we get up at nights and feed and change our babies and care for them when they are sick.
If we then have adopted kids (or before, it is the same I think), who we usually don’t know how they spent first months of their lives, we just feel so much more for those kids (not love, but compassion, empathy, kindness) and we maybe try to, in some way, compensate for what they missed in the beginning.
The challenge is of course to show to all your kids that you love them the same and that you appreciate them and love them for who they are and not for where they come from or how they are. But I think it is the same challenge if you have all adopted or all biological children.
That’s what I think about this interview with Angelina. I think she is the lady who gives much taught to her children and her family situation and she also talks about it, not just because she likes to talk :-), but also to encourage people to adopt. And that is very good thing because there are so many children who need loving and caring parents in this world.
I am not a fan (of anybody), but I become interesting in this family because of their humanitarian work and the way they use their celebrity and money on the less fortunate. If it gives them a lot back (in popularity, more money, etc.), it gives much more in good feeling about their self at the end of the day. What you have given is the only thing you can take with you wherever you go!
Happy New Year!
Yup Toto is a hater….Saw this person’s post everytime this femalefirst groupie gather all the hate from that site. She will change her name again. they don’t even read the whole article, haters just skim & pick some lines they want & which if you did not have any clue about the whole interview will give you a different perspective of the person being interviewed.
I got good news for you Toto, every interview of your Anuston I always got a feeling she not sincere & faulty most times. She keeps changing answers that is why you cannot believe her sincerity. Aniston live by Rachel Green’s standard since she can only project that image which is not a true reflection of herself. Too bad people are now realizing that your idol is showing her true colors. I guess it sucks being a FANISTON nowadays that is why you & your fellow groupies are attacking relentlessly. Sign of desperation? Absolutely!!!!!!

Thank you and all the Moms who gave their opinions on the article. It is good from people who are going through a similar experience as Angelina.
Have a great year also.
Fanistons are going down with their idol, but they are still screaming evil things. They don’t learn bit.
Good Morning All,
WOW! This was an intense discussion on a very delicate topic. If I say I didn’t see this coming, I’d be lying. This was the “Potential Trouble Spot” I saw after reading the article. I knew it might be miscontrued by I kinda hoped people would really think about it and understand what she meant but I guess that was just wishful thinking on my part. Everything that can be said….has been said by these ladies (jpf, Lylian, nnt, TP, bdj, piper with a low, Indie and many others) but I’d like to add my two cents.
About two years ago, a family friend found out she was pregnant and like any mother, she was happy about it. Her joy intensified when she got the first ultra-sound photo….she had it on her refrigerator, showing everyone who cared to see and just doing the usual new mother thing. Next, she found out it was a boy…and she almost went mad with happinees (she’s always told us she wanted a boy for her first child) so she went shopping….completely going overboard with the buying, we thought she might go bankrupt. Any way, when she was about six months old, she went for a regular check up and it was quite a shock for both the doctor and the mommy to be to find out she was not expecting one but two. Yep, she was carrying twin….unfortunately, the other baby was positioned under or behind the first baby and they couldn’t see him….his heartbeat was really low and that’s why they barely heard it. When I first heard that, I thought….how could they have missed it? In this day and age…..with the technology we have at our disposa…In America not some third world country….but I guess things like that can still happen even with the best doctors. They said, it’s not uncommon to have twins in that position but what happens is the second twin dies in the early stage and it is usually after birth the find out there was another child. It was sheer miracle the baby made it to that point. Anyway, having discovered the second child, their misssion was to keep him alive…because he wasn’t getting enough oxygen, nutrients and the way he was positioned was not the most comfortable. They were hoping the first baby would shift it’s position but it didn’t. They had a big problem on their hands, should they do a c-section to removed both children….even though one was thriving or should they keep them until full term even though one wasn’t? This became the focus…deliver a healthy baby at 6-7 months or keep an unhealthy baby till full term? They were basically telling her and her husband to choose between the two children….to say it was a bad time was an understatement. To cut a long story short, she had both boys, one weight 7 pounds, the other barely made 4….because he didn’t get enough oxygen, they feared brain damage, he had to go through series of test and while is brother got to go home two days after he was born, he stayed in the hospital for another 3 months. As the boys grew, there was no denying the difference in how the mother treated them, if the younger twin sneezed, she’d panic….when seconds ago, the older twin’s sneezing barely registered. She feed the younger twin first….taking care of his needs before the other. I’d be doing her an injustice if I said she don’t love her other boy, I remember how excited she was when she first saw his grainy ultra-sound pictures and how she dotes on him, so I know she definately loves her him but she knows one is more vulnerable than the other and she (like AJ) says she has to remind herself not to completely forget the other child’s needs but it’s obvious as day that she is more aware (feels for) the other child’s needs.
If a mother who gave birth to both babies feels this way, why do we expect something different in a mother with both adopted and biological children…especially adopted children who spent the first months of their lives in very adverse conditions? Remember when Shiloh was born and some company sent her a Diamond encrusted pacifier worth almost 30 grand? Did anyone send Maddox and Zahara a 5 grand pacifier…let alone 30 grand? I’m sure AJ FELT for them when that happened. The point is, eventhough BP and AJ love their children equally, they have NO CONTROL on how the outside world would treat them. We see it all the time…..the media saying “Their two adopted children Maddox and Zahara and their first Biological child Shiloh”. Anyone who’s gotten mad at the constant need by the press to distinguish between both sets of chidren, definately understands what AJ meant. Shiloh is less vulnerable to the world by the virtue of being born to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, just like the first twin is less vulnerable to diseases by virtue of being born helthy.
Two things to note here….
1) AJ is AWARE of this thing she does
2) She said “I think the others are MORE vulnerable”….More being the operative word here, which means she knows Shiloh is also vulnerable.
If she wasn’t aware of it and she thought Shiloh is not vulnerable at all, then I’d say round up the lynching mob.. For me, just the fact that I see those two things at play here, tells me Shioloh will be. fine.
There are two kinds of people making this an issue
1) Fans who have romanticized this family. They don’t expect a problem, they’d like to believe everything with the JPs is just honky dory. They have very unrealistic ecpectations of this family….This menatality is what gave birth to the Fansitons. The fans of “The Golden Couple” who, two years after the fact, still can’t accept their Golden Couple is no more.
2) People who expect the absolute worst when it comes to the JPs. They read that and they automatically go “I knew it, I knew it, she does not love Shiloh”. These are the people who asks the crazy questions like…”where is shiloh? How come she has a white blanket e.t.c.
To these people, I say the only problem here is YOU.
Man, i would never call my newborn baby a BLOB! are u kidding me, i love my newborn. she’s the cutest lil cuddly baby. Newborns smile while they sleep, they make funny faces, and their cry is adorable. You just wanna hold them all the time…If u think ur new baby is a blob then u clearly have not spent enough time with them.
Hey JustJared! Thanks for posting the pictures of Zahara at the beach! :D
She is so pretty - so adorable!
Great article too. Mad, Z and Shi are so lucky to have wonderful parents like Brad and Angelina.

Morning BAMZS fans, to those of you that came here to say evil things, go away! We went through this last night. The word that none of you seem to know is empathy! Look it up, read the earlier posts, then maybe you’ll get what she’s saying. If not go back to FF, oh and #539 Shiloh goes as do the other children everyplace with Brad & Angie, she most likely spends more time with her children then you do, if you have any. From your post I doubt it!
I think this woman is giving way too much information which will return to haunt her. Calling your child a blob is wrong and I have not heard Tom cruise saying in any interview that he has a conflict with loving his adopted children and the way he loves Suri. I am sorry but these days I see Angelina for what she is… a manipulative woman who does all this for a purpose. At first I really bought it that she was a good misunderstood person, but not anymore, the way she has handled herself these last two years is very disappointing parading those children every where like they are trophies, I no longer blame the media for rediculing her instead of appreaciating her efforts, she acts like she is the first person to adopt or d any act of kindness.
Now I know this site is full of her ‘devoted’ fans they are two or three but boy, they have so much energy to post like crazy, I am waiting to see where this will all end, it can’t possibly be good. In life there are good people and bad people. I thought Angelina was in the former category even when she was in her perverted days, I thought it was a phase and she was misunderstood but events have led me to place her in the latter lot, I think she is a bad manipulative person with an evil soul. I feel sorry for the children but less s for Brad since her made a choice and they didnt.
ley,You wrote that long post to to say NOTHING.Nothing was said that was intelligent or for that matter sane.Let it go today is 2 years since Brad and Jen split they have moved on with their lifes I suggest you do the same for the sake of your mental heath.
SAID SIMPLY SO THE HATERS CAN GET IT! IT’S BEEN 2 YEARS! STOP IT! WE COME HERE TO ENJOY THE PICTURES AND THE NEWS. ARE YOUR LIVES SO EMPTY THAT ALL YOU CAN DO IS SPEW HATE? MAKE JUDGEMENTS? WHO ARE YOU TO DO THAT! IT’S SAD. IF YOU DON’T LIKE THEM, FINE, THATS YOUR OPINION BUT WHY TRY AND RUIN IT FOR THOSE OF US WHO LOVE THEM? NOTHING MORE THAN BEING CHILDISH. GO AWAY PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jen fans everywhere should save this pic and paste it into the next outpouring of Jen-hate and trashing her for smoking and tanning. Along with those very TANNED pics of Brad at the awards for Babel, next Jared link.
Incidentally, what’s up with Brad’s jaw these days? It almost looks deformed from the nipping and tucking.

Brad has been on a tropical vacation with HIS FAMILY! He smokes, we all know that, if your REALLY trying to get pregnant you stop. He’s tan because of vacation, not his twice weekly tanning appointment. Still grasping at straws aren’t you!
the ciggy says:
It’s not Brad who was trying to get pregnant, it was Jennifer, or supposedly anyway. So smoking should have been a no-no for her. And nothing is wrong with Brad’s jaw, he doesn’t go for nipping and tucking — don’t you think if he did go for nip/tuck he would have gotten better skin and gotten rid of the scar under his eyes? Sheesh, Sheri is right, you guys are really grasping at straws. Realize this, Jen and Brad are kaput, no longer together, it’s been two years, people!
