Brad Pitt And The Skipper Too
Brad Pitt rode the “Red Hooker” and enjoyed a beer and ciggy stick in the Virgin Islands earlier this week, on break from filming The Case of Benjamin Button co-starting Cate Blanchett. More pictures of baby Zahara playing on the beach with her nanny and bodyguard after the jump!
Here are some select quotes from Angelina Jolie’s interview with Elle UK:
- On looking for the right somebody: “I wanted was to find somebody who, first and foremost, was a great father, because I was already a parent.”
- On Brad being amazing: “We came together because we’re similar. He’s a really amazing father - he didn’t just become that around me. He’s a thoughtful, intelligent man.”
- On Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh: “The world has this opinion about the difference, then you wonder if there is a difference. In fact I found the opposite. I think I feel so much more for Madd and Zee because they’re survivors, they came through so much. In some way they’re strangers because they had this life before me. Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born, I have less inclination to feel for her. I have to do the opposite from what I expected! I met my other kids when they were six months, they came with a personality. A newborn really is this… blob! But now she’s starting to have a personality. The three of them are very funny together, very loud and in each other’s faces. She’s grown up with Zee screaming in her face in the morning! But, yes, I’m conscious that I have to make sure I don’t ignore her needs, just because I think the others are more vulnerable.”
- On the kids rebelling one day: “We were trying to figure out how because we shoot guns in movies, we have motorbikes and planes, and mummy’s covered in tattoos. All that’s left for them to do is to become Mormons.”

oh, dear now their wrong for going on a nice family vacation. Horrors! There are many pics of Z smiling it’s just kind of hard for a toddler to be all giggly when 100 paps are screaming! When you have to look that hard for a negative and answer your self, don’t you find it a bit sad. Sorry your taking the 2 yr Anniversary of Brads liberation so badly.
Action speaks louder than words. We can see how AJ is so protective of Shiloh and all her other children. There is no need to worry. I am sure that she loves them all equally. God bless them and the children. All her fans too; and JJ for bringing us all these lovely pictures.

It wasn’t actually Angelina Jolie who called baby Shiloh a ‘blob’ it was the interviewer. Ange was stuck for something to say about how having such a young baby was like and the interviewer suggested that Shiloh (as a newborn) was very much like a blob. It WASN’T Ange’s words.
Ange also ment that she feels more like she has to almost ‘protect’ Maddox and Zahara more than she does Shiloh because of their background. Those kids were orphans, no one to love them, no one to protect them. No one to make them feel safe. Shiloh has had all of these since the moment she was born.
Parents feel for their children in different ways. Just because she says “I think I feel so much more” about Mad and Z doesn’t mean she loves them any more than she loves Shiloh. Kids are kids, and the love you feel for each of your children doesn’t differ. It’s the WAY you love them that differs.
Ange loves Maddox and Zahara because they have been through so much but are “survivors” and thats understandable. She probably loves the way Zahara greets baby Shi in the morning - by “screaming in her face” or the way Mad is so involved in things she and and his daddy are doing. Shi is a love in its own.
I think any one that bad mouths Brad, Ange or any of their beautiful children shouldn’t. Unless you have children, and have adopted too, no-one knows the emotions you feel for both your biological children and your adopted children.
After all the only difference between a biological child and an adopted child is DNA. They are still your children after all.
I was surprised at how she described Shiloh. maybe she wasn’t born into poverty, but they gave birth to an innocent life that didn’t ask to be in the tabloids. If you ask me the world of Hollywood and wanting a piece of her someday is comparable to what could have been mad and z’s fate.
that being said, I love her and I love that she’s opening up about her family.
I find it funny that the “Feb. 2007″ UK Elle magazine is using VERY OLD PHOTOS for their issue.
Any real Angie fan knows that those photos have been around for years, and they’ve taken the cream colored dress in the first 2 pics and colored it blue. Whooooa, that makes it “new”, doesn’t it?
Yawn. Stretch.
Sad truth is, aside from the St. John and Shiseido ads, Angie hasn’t done a new photo shoot in ages. The only new photos are of her in a messy ponytail dragging her kids around. Which is fine, but trying to pass off old photos in a new magazine edition is just plain cheesy.
I luv Angie,but i am disturbed by this comment on Shiloh. & this morning she commented on Madonna adoption was illegal.I think Brad shouldnt have told her to speak whatever comes to her mind. She needs to remember that the tabloids are always looking for negative comments to make frontpage.I feel bad for shiloh & brad when they read this.What will his family think?

I truly like Angie and I’ve loved Brad for a long time now. I like them as a couple. I love the positive outlook they have on the world and the dedication they have to making it a better place for children. I think their humanity is inspiring and beautiful. I’m also not a Jennifer Anniston fan; I never have been - from the beginning of Friends. Her unpleasant looking demeanor, marginal talent, and piggyback (on Brad’s back) rise to A list fame are all turn-offs. Having said that and being a mother of biological (1) and adopted children (2) (from third world countries) I find her comments off-putting and to be totally honest her words pissed me off quite a bit. There is never a need to over compensate when it comes to your children you simply love them and it should never be a conscious act it should simply be. Furthermore, Maddox and Zahara have no memory of the 3 to 6 months they spent impoverished, in their minds their lives haven been just as privileged as Shiloh’s life. Angelina didn’t adopt some 11-year-old girl that spent her nights hiding from hordes of rebels trying to rape her or a 13-year-old Cambodian boy that lost a limb to a landmine. So, Maddox has only spent 4 years and many months living a life of luxury and Zahara has spent 1 year and 7 months living that way while Shiloh was born into that lifestyle, so what. That doesn’t mean you feel less for her in your heart - less anything - less empathy, less sympathy, less whatever. Her comments are irresponsible. Respecting her does not mean unconditionally supporting her no matter what she says, she screwed up, it doesn’t make her evil, it makes her human. What stands is the heinous implication of her comments and what she meant we will never know. I do know that issuing a statement saying that your comments about Madonna were taken out of context along with people here saying that her comments about “feeling more” were taken out of context is beginning to be one excuse to many. Perhaps, she should stick to saving the world and either less time giving interviews or spending more time thinking before she speaks. Comments like these were just a matter of time after the Anderson Cooper interview when she stated she would defend Maddox and Zahara. Defend them from what Angelina? Their precious little sister that just happened to be born from your womb? They aren’t entitled to more or less than Shiloh simply because you went out into the world and found them. Great humanitarian, fantastic actress, bold woman, breathtakingly beautiful woman, and yet . . .
• All I can say is “Thank God Shiloh has her dad”. I always believed Angelina was this awesome person who would and could love ALL her children equally. I honestly cannot believe she made those comments about baby Shiloh. No matter how people try to defend her - she said what she said! Mothers are supposed to love and have empathy for ALL their children equally, and to say she is less inclined to feel for little Shiloh because she was privileged from the moment she was born is wrong - and inaccurate. How can any of us, least of all her own mother, not feel deeply for this beautiful little girl who will spend the rest of her life actively being pursued by the paparazzi cameras?
If she truly feels this way, maybe it’s a good thing she continues to adopt and DOESN’T have any more biological children.
I agree with most of the posters in this website, I think Angie should have chose her words more carefully. Mad and Z were only babies when she adpoted them they did not have these hard lives, they barely knew the world around them when they were adopted. When they did finally begin to recognize the world around them they were living a life of luxury. Yes, their lives could have been horrible but it was not she cannot look at what could have been but what is, they are just as priviledged as Shiloh she only got it a few months ahead of them. I do not think Angie wanted to get pregnant and have a biological child she said so before, but she knew how much Brad wanted one so she decided to have Shiloh. I doubt they will have any more biological children which might be the death of their relationship, because I think Brad would like more, but that is just my opinion.
