Brad Pitt And The Skipper Too
Brad Pitt rode the “Red Hooker” and enjoyed a beer and ciggy stick in the Virgin Islands earlier this week, on break from filming The Case of Benjamin Button co-starting Cate Blanchett. More pictures of baby Zahara playing on the beach with her nanny and bodyguard after the jump!
Here are some select quotes from Angelina Jolie’s interview with Elle UK:
- On looking for the right somebody: “I wanted was to find somebody who, first and foremost, was a great father, because I was already a parent.”
- On Brad being amazing: “We came together because we’re similar. He’s a really amazing father - he didn’t just become that around me. He’s a thoughtful, intelligent man.”
- On Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh: “The world has this opinion about the difference, then you wonder if there is a difference. In fact I found the opposite. I think I feel so much more for Madd and Zee because they’re survivors, they came through so much. In some way they’re strangers because they had this life before me. Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born, I have less inclination to feel for her. I have to do the opposite from what I expected! I met my other kids when they were six months, they came with a personality. A newborn really is this… blob! But now she’s starting to have a personality. The three of them are very funny together, very loud and in each other’s faces. She’s grown up with Zee screaming in her face in the morning! But, yes, I’m conscious that I have to make sure I don’t ignore her needs, just because I think the others are more vulnerable.”
- On the kids rebelling one day: “We were trying to figure out how because we shoot guns in movies, we have motorbikes and planes, and mummy’s covered in tattoos. All that’s left for them to do is to become Mormons.”

Morning 4Q for posting that quote, I love that quote from her
i can see how people could misinterpret that statement but it blatantly obvious that she didnt mean anything negative by it.i reckon she meant that given maddox and zahara’s circumstances she feelf for them more as in empathises for them more cos let’s face it had angie not adopted them god knows what would have become of them whereas shiloh won’t have to endure what her brother and sister have had to so naturally you will empathise less.she did’nt say she loves her less.and i think this would be the same with everybody.for example,i have a few friends but one friend has had a pretty traumatic life compared to the others.and i empathise with this friend more than the others because of that.it’s the same thing as what angie was talking about.and the sad thing about this is the haters and possibly the tabloids are probably going to pick up on this and run with it.
I really don’t think it’s appropriate to have pictures of Zahara up like this. She’s alone on the beach with her nanny. Brad and Angelina are not with her. Zahara isn’t a celebrity. She’s a two year old in her diaper playing by beach’s edge. I think this is wrong to have those pictures of her posted.

I aslo don’t like that comment either! I agree with Lucy and Sad, what kind of comment is that for a mother to make. Shouldn’t she have said I love all three children equally. Make what excuses you want for her, but this comment has so turned me off of her! I know Brad would never say anything like that.

Thanks Just Jared for the new pictures. Zahara is a cutie and will have a birthday soon (hint hint - party time). People will take what AJ says and run with it one-way or the other. Whatever makes your time go by faster on a blog. I am sure that AJ could care less because she knows who she is and her love for her children. Magazines and critics have been taken her words out of context, misquoted her and twisted her words to satisfy some people’s envy and hate. All I can say is “whatever floats your boat”. I would rather dwell on the positive. This subject has been hashed to the death on the other thread. Some very good points were raised and worth a visit. Thanks again, Just Jared.

sad, hopefully during Shiloh’s life she will instill that empathy for those born into different circumstances in her, but I understand what your saying. In alot of ways I smile at the growing process Angie has gone through. She used to blurt out what was on her mind, to hell with the fallout. It’s amazing the woman she has become and is becoming, so sorry I get a bit defensive when her every word is, well you know. She should at this time be a bit more selective shall we say with her words, there are too many out there waiting for something like this to pounce on. I know your not one, just letting you know you’ve made understand the importance of watching her words at this time!!!
OMFG are we going to be spending the whole freaking time on this thread talking about the elle interview. We know Angie loves all her kids equally, how many times does she have to say that. It doesn’t matter what Angie say people will always find ways to twist her words for their own selfish reason, they will always find ways to paint Angie in a bad light, and that is wrong.

If you were to read all Angelina’s interview, she has been consistent in what she says about the kids until this ELLE UK article. But yet some just can’t wait to jump on Angelina and call her names. Angelina has NEVER said anything like this ever. Therefore, I question this interview whole heartedly. Why would she all of a sudden say something like this out of the blue after she has consistantly said she had no different feelings for any of her children? And why would she say the Malibu house is too small? They had already moved to Los Feliz. You know, when something seems off it usually is
OY VEY! Poor Angie! This is going to hurt her so much. OF COURSE she means “feel” as in feel for their circumstance in life….Look at how horrid some of the haterz have been in the past. And, let’s face it, without Angie or someone like her, Mad and Zee would have been doomed. Shiloh in some ways IS “the chosen one” especially as long as she is the only bio child - when they have another bio and more adopted, things will be different. Shiloh won’t be the focus of so many razzi, and hopefully, people will become more accepting of a multiracial family. My friend at work just found out she will FINALLY get her little boy from Ethiopia next month….there are a LOT more people adopting from Africa, as for years they adopted from Asia. We’d BEST get used to it.

Oh man, are we gonna have the back and forth that went on all last night because of that statement by Angie? We do not even know if this Elle Interview is real or just cobbled together from her past interviews — there are no new pictures in Elle (even the cover is an old one, they only changed the color of her gown) so maybe the interview is not directly from her? Because as far as I could tell, her Vogue interview contradicts what she said in Elle.
Man oh man, as I keep reiterating, I am just so glad that Angie is a strong woman and pays no mind to comments about her. And that Brad is a Zen master. All this negative vibes and negative comments would have demolished a lesser person by now — and for those who keep saying that Angie is not mentally stable because of her earlier cutting and suicidal thoughts, I wish you could trade places with her now and see how mentally stable you would be if you have to endure what she has to endure from the media, bloggers and so-called fans. I have never ever in my life witnessed so much name-calling of a woman who just happened to fall in love with Prince Charming!

the thing is people keep saying that her words are going to be twisted. But you don’t even have to twist this statement to get a bad feeling from it. What she said was not right and it reads not right.
