Brad Pitt And The Skipper Too
Brad Pitt rode the “Red Hooker” and enjoyed a beer and ciggy stick in the Virgin Islands earlier this week, on break from filming The Case of Benjamin Button co-starting Cate Blanchett. More pictures of baby Zahara playing on the beach with her nanny and bodyguard after the jump!
Here are some select quotes from Angelina Jolie’s interview with Elle UK:
- On looking for the right somebody: “I wanted was to find somebody who, first and foremost, was a great father, because I was already a parent.”
- On Brad being amazing: “We came together because we’re similar. He’s a really amazing father - he didn’t just become that around me. He’s a thoughtful, intelligent man.”
- On Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh: “The world has this opinion about the difference, then you wonder if there is a difference. In fact I found the opposite. I think I feel so much more for Madd and Zee because they’re survivors, they came through so much. In some way they’re strangers because they had this life before me. Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born, I have less inclination to feel for her. I have to do the opposite from what I expected! I met my other kids when they were six months, they came with a personality. A newborn really is this… blob! But now she’s starting to have a personality. The three of them are very funny together, very loud and in each other’s faces. She’s grown up with Zee screaming in her face in the morning! But, yes, I’m conscious that I have to make sure I don’t ignore her needs, just because I think the others are more vulnerable.”
- On the kids rebelling one day: “We were trying to figure out how because we shoot guns in movies, we have motorbikes and planes, and mummy’s covered in tattoos. All that’s left for them to do is to become Mormons.”
UPDATE :: Apologies, Brad Pitt Beach gallery has been closed. Angelina Jolie Elle UK February 2007 scans have been added.

your right about one thing you are a ***** face. Brad knows exactly who he is.
I really like Angelina too, but she is going out of her way to prove to people that she doesn’t love Shiloh more than Maddox or Zahara and, this statement just takes the cake. First of all, I don’t know why interviewers feel that they need to ask her how or if she felt different about her 3 children. Who else would they ask that question to? Secondly, why does Angelina feel she has to explain the difference between adopting or having a biological child? I am sorry, but that is how I perceive her many answers on this subject. Why can’t she just admit that her biological child was born from a loving relationship that she has with a wonderful man? Shiloh might not ever know what life could have been like for Zahara or Maddox, but neither will they. That is what is good about how she and Brad have built their family. Please Angie - stop with these answers. You are a loving person who has adopted 2 beautiful children and were able to have a beautiful biological child with a wonderful man. This makes you a lucky, lucky human being.

I don’t think the person saying Brad would never say that has a clue what their talking about. I don’t put him in the catagory you do. Other than that I agree with the rest. I you don’t like Brad at least give him the benefit of the doubt, none of us know him, Angie chose him for a reason.
Why would Elle use photoshop to change the original color of Angie’s dress on the cover? Isn’t that cheating?
I lost all my respect for Elle.

thanks!it cant be another thing!
As a mother of three children, none adopted, there is a tendency to feel a little more empathy for that child that might be more needy in some way. You love them all the same, but sometimes you give a little more to the needier child. But while doing that you have to remind yourself that the other children need also. You can’t assume that because their needs aren’t as visible that they don’t need. So it becomes more of a concious effort not to forget or to assume they are stronger, therefore less in need. I understood it the first time I read it. I think Angie is trying so hard to be honest, and yet not misspeak because of Brad and the family that, remember she said she worried because now she is not alone and only speaking for herself. It isn’t difficult. She got pregnant because she met a man she wanted to have a child with. My youngest daughter is the same as Angie, and for years she has said she would never get married or pregnant. She has met a wonderful man, now she is learning to cook, talking about marriage, and getting pregnant. She models and never wanted to gain weight, etc. I told her when you find the right person all of that will fly out of the window. Same with Angie. Don’t analyze too closely. Some things are lost in translation, or at least from the mouth to the printed page. She loves all of children.

I think she’s talking about having empathy! Everytime she looks at Mad and Z she knows how awful their lives would have been, Z may not of even had one. So there is alot of empathy when she looks at them. Shiloh will never be the child that could have died from a curable disease, or lived in poverty. She doesn’t love her any less, she just thinks of the what if with the other kids! At least thats my opinion.

ITA with you.
On giving birth to a child or adopting a child, I honestly did expect that there would be a different feeling. I was very concerned that there would be and I prepared for that. There was absolutely none. Other than sometimes I look at Shiloh and I see Brad—that’s sweet—I don’t feel any differently. That was a wonderful surprise. I was so happy to have Shiloh in Africa, that we could do that and for her to have a Namibian passport. She has that connection to another country and to her sister’s part of the world. I think that ties them together a little.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
You see. she obviously wasn’t talking about LOVE when she said she feels more for her adopted kids.
We will have to agree to disagree when it comes to Brad.

From what I understand it isn’t out of the norm for UK ELLE to utilize “stock” photo’s for it’s covers. I believe it to be a real interview.
++++++++++++++
Yes, I agree, it’s the same people at JJB and Bradforums saying that the interview is fake, I really don’t get how Elle would make up a whole interview.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
What? I don’t belong to either of those places and I believe the interview is a combination of real quotes and fake out of context quotes. Not everyone on the net is the same person. LOL
Why does Angelina use the word knock up … isn’t this vulgar?
As a mother I can tell you that you do respond to your children in different ways. For example, my son is highstrung, dynamic, delightful and a handful! My daughter is the easiest, happiest baby ever. One is very hands on, the other is just about stress free. I have very different feelings for them or about them or different worries - my LOVE for them isn’t different - but I respond to them differently.
That’s all she’s saying.
I’m not dealing with all this superior judgement of Angelina Jolie’s words anymore. It’s anyones right to take it how they feel, but personally I find that if anyone is viewing this as some concrete evidence that she’s deficient as a mother to her biological child, then you are someone who hasn’t a clue ever of who Angelina is, and you really need to cease referring to yourself as a fan of hers. I hope no one ever decides to pull a Salem Witch hunt on you because you spoke honestly and others tried to turn that candor into something sorrid and ugly. Go and praise Britney Spears parenting skills, or how about checking out all those celeb’s that are so practiced in what they plan to say that they got the world believing their kids walk on water, and as parents so do they when if we had a chance to catch them off guard, we’d all be dialing 241-kids as fast as our fingers could push the numers down.

Funny all the doubters are NEW POSTERS. Kinda weird seeing the subtle haters suddenly are posting here. These are Anustons fans love to do, when posting change your names & post as much as possible to prove a loud majority is against them when in fact it is the silent minority are doing it. Lastly, males names, influx of male names to prove males hate Angelina & loves Aniston. Yeah right! Whatever!
Can someone tell me the question that she was asked, because it will really explain the answer? In the Phillipine Inquirer they gave questions and answers so nothing was hidden. When they give answers without questions it can be very misleading.
“Other than sometimes I look at Shiloh and I see Brad—that’s sweet”
That is so wonderful.

^^^^
It’s only vulgar if you choose it to be so. It’s slang, and nothing I haven’t used before “in perfectly polite company.”

Again a true Brad and Angie’s fan will question something that does not sound like what they’ve said in previous interviews rather than jump to conclusions.
Please God help these IGNORANT HATERS.
also i feel that the quote is taken out of context so maybe you could correct it jared

Please lets not turn everyone who has issues with Angelina into a Jennifer Aniston fan. It just keeps the triangle up an running, and it’s simply not true. It;s like saying that I my dislike for JA must be based around AJ/BP, when the fact is I have never liked her.

I’ve emailed Jared re putting the quote in the context of the article, and if you guys noticed he has changed it right away. Hopefully, it reads better and then the haters, twisters and naysayers will no longer be as hateful.
Hmm..yeah I love this family and I am also disturbed by her comment about Shiloh. I thought it was just me who got the wrong idea. I also agree with whoever said she will be a daddy’s girl, but is this verified authentic? She seems to be trying tooo hard to make her family”blend” know what I mean?
