Brad Pitt And The Skipper Too
Brad Pitt rode the “Red Hooker” and enjoyed a beer and ciggy stick in the Virgin Islands earlier this week, on break from filming The Case of Benjamin Button co-starting Cate Blanchett. More pictures of baby Zahara playing on the beach with her nanny and bodyguard after the jump!
Here are some select quotes from Angelina Jolie’s interview with Elle UK:
- On looking for the right somebody: “I wanted was to find somebody who, first and foremost, was a great father, because I was already a parent.”
- On Brad being amazing: “We came together because we’re similar. He’s a really amazing father - he didn’t just become that around me. He’s a thoughtful, intelligent man.”
- On Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh: “The world has this opinion about the difference, then you wonder if there is a difference. In fact I found the opposite. I think I feel so much more for Madd and Zee because they’re survivors, they came through so much. In some way they’re strangers because they had this life before me. Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born, I have less inclination to feel for her. I have to do the opposite from what I expected! I met my other kids when they were six months, they came with a personality. A newborn really is this… blob! But now she’s starting to have a personality. The three of them are very funny together, very loud and in each other’s faces. She’s grown up with Zee screaming in her face in the morning! But, yes, I’m conscious that I have to make sure I don’t ignore her needs, just because I think the others are more vulnerable.”
- On the kids rebelling one day: “We were trying to figure out how because we shoot guns in movies, we have motorbikes and planes, and mummy’s covered in tattoos. All that’s left for them to do is to become Mormons.”

aww…I fall in love with this video…Just to remember us how much they’re in love and what a beautiful family they make, and the kids are so cute…For those who didn’t see it yet : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mT3yHKj_-4&mode=related&search=
I hope you’ll enjoy :D
Thanks JJ for putting the right quote, it makes more sense.
Thank you to whoever posted the whole article. I agree that we should all not jump to conclusions, but I also wish that Angie would tell any interviewer that they are stupid for asking her about the differences between Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh. That is about as stupid as Larry King asking her the difference between kissing Matt Damon and Brad Pitt.
When it’s put together like that it really doesn’t sound bad. Newborns are no fun. Actually, Kids are not fun either.
Angelina has said in interviews that she loves all three of her kids. The world “Feel” (if indeed it was used and not just this tabloid’s interpretation) may be used in such a way that she means feels for their circumstances. She is right, Shiloh is a child of privilege. She most likely will never know what it is like to be starving, unloved and in a hopeless situation. Does this mean Angie doesn’t love her, value her and want her? Of course not. She probably looks at Mad and Z’s whole picture–they are from poor countries, they were not loved, hungry and lacked everything but the basics.
If she indeed made the comment, it is probably an unfortunate choice of words on her part or maybe the interviewer twisted the comments out of context.
You have only to look at her and Brad too to see the love in their eyes for all of their kids.
This family is so wonderful, thru the roof wonderful. Some peope just like to try to bring great people down rather than concerning themselves with important matters that need correcting.
Long time lurker here…This time I felt I had to post. I can’t stop laughing at some of the people on here who can’t see out of the ordinary language being quoted by Angelina Jolie. Since when did Angie start speaking ghetto slang with “My baby’s daddy” ROTFL and “knocked up” Just because people who are fans and have followed them for years question the article doesn’t mean anything.
Angelina does not sound like Angelina in a lot of this interview specifically when speaking of the kids, her feelings for them and looking for a father for Maddox. All those things fly in the face of what she’s been saying for awhile now.
Elle UK is fashion magazine. It’s not Time or Newsweek, hell it ins’t even VF, Esquire or GQ. It’s on par with Glamour Magazine. Not the bastion of journalism. They could of easily just cut and pasted some of her recent quotes. Doesn’t mean the author wasn’t at her press conf in India. It’s just very, very odd
A UK publication printed a whole interview by Nicole Kidman which had alleged quotes about Angelina. Everyone said it had to be true and it was proven to be false. It happens

I think she’s talking about having empathy! Everytime she looks at Mad and Z she knows how awful their lives would have been, Z may not of even had one. So there is alot of empathy when she looks at them. Shiloh will never be the child that could have died from a curable disease, or lived in poverty. She doesn’t love her any less, she just thinks of the what if with the other kids! At least thats my opinion.

I agree with Sheri…..and like we all assumed when the statements were made, it will immediately be dissected and be portrayed negatively. We know this woman loves all her children equally. None more than the other…..
She’s talking about balancing the emotions of all her three kids and their needs which is fair. I disapprove of the interviewer asking her that question to put her in a spot.
I would feel bad for kids who had no mom to love, hold and cuddle them when they were born, too. Poor Maddox and Zahara were held up in the orphanage for 6 months sick and dying. Shiloh was loved from the very start.

Awww…
Z looks like she’s having a lot of fun! She looks like she’s gonna grow up to be a big girl.
I don’t think Angelina meant that she felt for Shiloh less, but that she’s been such such a priveleged girl since birth. I love how Angelina called Shiloh a “blob”, though…cute! However, Shiloh will most definitely be a daddy’s girl. Hell, from my perspective, Z and Shiloh are both daddy’s girl and Maddox is a huge mama’s boy. It’d be funny to see them all as teens.
I’m not gonna get on a Kennedy train today, but Brad reminds me SO much of Robert and John in this pic it’s not funny.

Also, Brad is his dad. Looking at his father “hair/body” I think it’s the side that Brad inherited most of his attributes from. His dad has a full head of thick hair and he’s in his late 60’s I think. Brad’s the tallest, but his dad is next followed by the brother (or at least from the photos I’ve seen). I’m so curious to see what he’s going to look like in 10yrs. I bet he won’t look that different. George Clooney on the otherhand lol.

Vogue vs Elle Says:

Vogue
It had never crossed my mind that Mad was going to need a father-certainly not that it would be this man i just met. Until, of course, I got to know Brad and realized he is naturally just a wonderful father. And we left a lot of it up to Mad, and he took his time and the made the decision one day.”
Elle
“I wanted was to find somebody who, first and foremost, was a great father, because I was already a parent.”
++++++++++++++
What’s your point? The Elle interview took place AFTER the Vogue interview. How do you know she didn’t expound on the point to the Vogue writer and it was left out of the interview? All putting these two comments side by side shows is that once it DID cross her mind that Mad might need a father, THEN she started thinking about what she wanted in a father and a life-mate. Grow up, would ya. Intelligent ADULT people think through a situation before jumping into it. Angie grew up and did that.

Hmmm…wonder if Mickey got the old heave-ho after the 2 incidents in India? Or maybe Mickey only works in certain parts of the world? He DOES live in the UK, so maybe this side of the Atlantic ain’t his thing.
Didn’t we have a recent Brad Pitt’s interview where he talked about what love is and how he likes to sleep nude and everything was cut and paste? I also remember the magazine that put up Brad’s house in Hollywood Hills that featured what was an exact copy of what another magazine had in the year 2000. On knowing the truth, I’ll go with the Phillipine Inquirer which had clear questions and answers than go with the Elle mag.
I’m also surprised at a lot of people who want to crucify Angie for a misquote, when we do not get such an outcry when racial slurs are made on Zahara or even where death threats are made.
I think Brad is the one who might feel differently. You know. . . since Maddox was already older. probably why Angelina pays more attention to him.
Interesting and honest comments from Angelina.
I get what she is saying. She said she was “inclined” to feel less for a child of priviledge - but she has overcome this.
This is a level of compassion that the average person cannot understand - loving a child that is not of your body more than your own.
I don’t follow the bible but I think Jesus alludes to this when he says: love who you do not know for if you only love the ones you know then what is the reward? I am sure I am butchering the quote but I love the idea.
Angelina’s level of compassion for the orphaned is not one most people can comprehend.
Again, she reminds me why I am a fan: she is brutally honest, independent and courageous even when she does not need to be. If we could all be even half of that.
Since a few of you like to talk about what that bozo Joe Scarborough has to say i thought i’d show you his ratings, or lack there of…

Maddox was Brad’s first child too.
Oh PLEASE. Of course you initIally feel more bonded with older kids, because you’ve had more time with them–they talk and interact and react. Babies are adorable but basically just mute little ciphers initially. Anyone who tries to make a big deal out of Angie’s comments knows nothing. There are more important things to worry about than the emotional well-being of the Jolie-Pitt kids–they are well-loved by both their parents and will turn out just fine.

She does not love one more than the other. She’s comparing their needs not the love she has for them.
didn’t Angie say that everytime she see Shiloh, she sees Brad in her??? did’t Angie say that she loves Brad??? so i don’t understand why some people keep saying the same nonesense that she loves Mad and Zee more than Shiloh PLEASEEEE!!!!
