Brad Pitt ‘Babels’ on in Palm Springs
Brad Pitt is back in the states after filming scenes for his new film The Case of Benjamin Button with Cate Blanchett. He attended the 18th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala earlier tonight at the Palm Springs Convention Center in California. Brad stands alongside director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu along with cast members from the film Babel, Adriana Barraza and Rinko Kikuchi.

I think tiny pictures of Brad and Angelina don’t give them justice. That’s why whomever meets them face to face says they look even better in person.
The cameras don’t do their looks justice. You have to see an up close and large picture of Angelina and Brad to understand their beauty. Larger pictures usually reveal the dark spots, the wrinkels, the bad skin on most celebrities but with Brad and Angelina, it’s the opposite.

I even remember where I was when I saw the announcement on Friday over the Internet about the separation. I had been a Brad fan before, kinda laid low during the 7 year liaison with Aniston, and then began to pay attention again when the tabs began writing about the “so-called affair”. I was thinking, da*n, too bad he was married, he looked good with Angie and she has what he wants (a child — Madd). So when the separation announcement was made, I thought “I hope he hooks up with Ange”. Then he did, and the rest is history. And I haven’t stopped celebrating!!!!

I wish they had the Moroccan cast at the PSIFF also. The 2 little boys and their dad deserve the praise also. They were outstanding in the movie, even though they are not real life actors. What a night it must have been for Rinko. Having “Happy Birthday” sung to you on stage, by mega stars, and to receive an award for your work. It’s awesome, and she deserves it. Congratulations, Rinko.

If you insist that she loves Maddox and Zahara more than Shiloh, firstly you are wrong, secondly it is none of our business whom she loves more or less. She does not need to approve anything to anybody.
Maddox and Zahara grew in her heart, Shiloh grew in her womb. She loves them in the way she feels.
By the way if she mentioned that bio child is more loved and close to her, you the haters (who were dying to hear this) would kill her with your words. You the haters are just twisting her words in the way you want her to say it. This is not going to change anything.
All of you must be remembering what she said to Diane S…. (?) if she was pregnant, she would tell the world. This means that SHE IS VERY PROUD OF BEING PREGNANT AS MUCH AS ADOPTING!! And she said that SHE WILL GET PREGNANT AGAIN! That also means that SHE LOVES TO GIVE BIRTH TO HER BIO CHILD AS MUCH AS SHE ADOPTS.
Now, Brad and Angie will keep on having bio and adopted kids and you the haters and Ms Chimney will keep on suffering with your jealousy and hatred. It will be great to watch this in coming years.

It must be horrible to be a hater because you know what? They read everything about Brad and Angie, they check out the details even more than the fans, but the difference is that the only thing they look for are negative things. It must be a terrible thing to be them. There are so many good things going on in this family and I celebrate with them today and wish them God’s blessings.

I agree and disagree with you their. I think she loves Shiloh more than she loves her self. And with all three of her children there is a different kind of love. With mad he made her a woman, with Shiloh she sees her self, and Shiloh is of course a Pitt. Shiloh is her mom, dad, brother, brad, and his parents. Don’t get it twisted she loves that kid more than herself. And she would never give her baby to brad when they break up. Not the pay-per view kid. That kid has Angelina BLOOD running through her. And Zahara well, Zahara is the obligation, the child she got on impulse. You never here Angelina talk about Maddox and Shiloh often, and certainly not as much as she doses Zahara. And the words she uses to describe Zahara now are very negative. She only puts Maddox in the ring when she’s saying something about her kids in order to make some kind of buffer. And to not draw that much attention to the fact that she loves her bio baby and she loves her baby who made her a woman. You never hear anything about how zahara made her a woman. So really don’t over think it, Angelina loves her bio kid. And she will have many more bios. Because like she said she sees Brad Pitt, and she wants little brads running around now. She’s a smart woman (in some cases) I’ll give her that she knows what she wants and she goes and gets it.
Woohoo! Today is brad’s liberation day. These two years have been so interesting for me as a fan. An early Happy Birthday wish to Zahara and Congratulations to both Brad and Angie. Success is only worth celebrating when you have a family to celebrate it with.

Can I ask a question? Why is everybody using the word ‘love’ when Angie supposed statement (we don’t know whether it is her quote or not) is about the feeling of their vulnerability due to the circumstances of their birth. I think if there is going to be a debate people can stick to the truth and not try to manipulate anything.

Congratulations for the awards at the Palm Spring International Film Festival for Babel. I think it’s really fitting to name the movie “Babel”, since there are at least three ways to say “Babel”, as mentioned by BP in his acceptance speech. We couldn’t agree, even in the English language on the proper pronunciation of the word.
Okay, Amaya. I am going to the store in a bit; I’ll make sure to get a full box of tissues! (good investment since my daughter has a cold and she will undoubtedly give me the sniffles any minute now).
On awards: Despite Caryn James’s nice article about the artist/celebrity known as BP (although of course I totally disagree with her dismissal of MAMS — it’s not a acting stretch, but it is the hotness and BIG FUN), the three critics appointed to prognosticate on the Oscar noms completely disagree on ’should be nom’d’ SA. In fact unlike any other category, there is NO overlap — So 15 names listed and no BP. Holden was the only one who gave love to Babel for best pic and Inarittu for best Director. (They all loved Clint’s Letters from Iwo Jima for both.)

So, I am still hopeful about things for the GG, but I am not convinced that he’ll end up on the Academy ballots– it’s just a very big year with a lot of great supporting performances. The good news is that I think people won’t forget his Babel performance, and in the future it may buttress best actor bids.
ORRRRR maybe I am being too pessimistic. Well, I’d rather have a good surprise than a disappointment. (Leonardo was not on any of their lists either BTW, and Forrest Whitaker is only on one as well).
