Brad Pitt ‘Babels’ on in Palm Springs
Brad Pitt is back in the states after filming scenes for his new film The Case of Benjamin Button with Cate Blanchett. He attended the 18th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala earlier tonight at the Palm Springs Convention Center in California. Brad stands alongside director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu along with cast members from the film Babel, Adriana Barraza and Rinko Kikuchi.

I saw a DVD Cutting Class with him in it 1989. Terrible movie, bad for days. He had acne scars space in his teeth, but I still woulda done him. He looks a LOT better now!

I get the sense too from these photos that he’s now out of his element in hollywood. He has the look of a man who wants to be back home with the one’s he loves and feels most comfortable.
I like him so much with age on him. He’s just sexier to me.
I tried to see the photos with Morgan Freeman, his co-star in “Seven”, but for some reason they are no longer available, stopped after one or two. In the two I saw Brad seemed genuinely pleased to see Morgan, but Morgan seemed distracted.
He is so gracious and seems unaware of his stature and unearthly beauty. I mean, please. People are saying things like he looks his age? As if that is bad???? The man is barely 43! That ain’t old! He is just utterly gorgeous and their story is one for the ages. NO other Hollywood Legendary Love Story is ever, ever topping Brad and Angelina— not Tracy and Hepburn, not Bogie and Bacall, not Liz and ****, not Gable and Lombard, not anybody! Do you all agree?
It is really sobering to see the shots of the aging Robert Redford just before he had “work done”. As wrinkled and craggy as he looked, I prefer it to the way he looked later. His lifted and smoothed face and eyes lost all their personality, all their character. Don’t ever do it, George and Brad! Stay authentic!

The cast of “Babel,” and yes, that means Brad Pitt, are heading to the front of the room to collect the Ensemble Performance Award for their turn in “Babel.”
The international players will receive the inaugural “Entertainer” statue for the category.
Under the spotlight is Cate Blanchett, Adriana Barraza, Koji Yakusho and Rinko Kikuchi, who is celebrating a birthday tonight and is being serenaded to by the entire room.
Brad started off saying “Thank you for honoring our film, Babel, Babele, Babelle, wherever you are in the world, we’re still trying to figure out how to say it.”
Cate Blanchett only spoke for a moment, but she made her time count saying “in honor of Rinko’s extraordinary performance, I’m not wearing any underwear this evening,” a comment only understood to those who have seen the film.
Brad finished by paying tribute to the festival, “I want thank the Palm Springs Film Festival for being one of the few entities to pay tribute to the ensemble . . . on behalf of the 180 cast members around the globe, we say thank you.”

I think it’s just Word Press profanity filter and nothing JJ is doing to us. I questioned JJ earlier tonight why some of my posts were being held awaiting moderation before they got on, but then I saw that WordPress will automatically hold comments that contain two or more links in them to prevent spamming.
So just keep those things in mind - it’s not JJ’s doing.
