Brad Pitt ‘Babels’ on in Palm Springs
Brad Pitt is back in the states after filming scenes for his new film The Case of Benjamin Button with Cate Blanchett. He attended the 18th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala earlier tonight at the Palm Springs Convention Center in California. Brad stands alongside director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu along with cast members from the film Babel, Adriana Barraza and Rinko Kikuchi.

To those of you discussing Brad and the People’s Choice award. Even if he wins it was not be a great margin because the vote was very tight between the three as evidenced by the hot link put up on the home page of the poll.
Oh, yeah we all know how ___ is obsessed about awards, especially the ones where you have to vote on internet like a crazy Faniston. These are the only ones she can win, not the serious ones lol.

Oh, LIZ, if you haven’t noticed Brad is getting an award in Palm Springs and has receieved a GG nomination for his acting not for his looks. Do you think at the age of 43 he wants to look 20? He is much wiser than using Botox to prolong his career. Especially that his career is not depending on his looks solely. He is also a producer and he is doing interesting movies now. What’s more he doesn’t look horrible, he looks absolutely fine and refined. There are many other pics from this event where he looks very good, and on the videos he is just to die for. If he is tired it’s because he’s got three kids under five and he is constantly working. This tiredness is noble. Now look at Britney: she does look like s h i t because of constant partying. Or look at Fraudiston: she is doing absolutely nothing, as noone wants to hire her, and still manages to look like s h i t. So LIZ go and scream in the ocean.

Brad didn’t go to People’s choice award last year despite winning the best couple and favorite leading man. I ‘m 200% sure he will not show up. He was a frequent winner of People’s choice. I’m curious did he ever show up before ?

Perhaps when he was still with the desparate-to-be-recognised Jennifer who seemed to show up for every award ceremony even the GQ man of the year award?? Am I the only one who thought she was desparate when she actually accepted the award?? Am I the only one who thinks that if anyone gave me an award for being stoic about my break up, I’d feel totally insulted?? Like they were feeling sorry for me or pitying me or something.

Spain saw the old year close out with a $7.9 million total, one of the worst Christmas frames in recent memory. The good news came largely with “Babel,” which bowed Dec. 28. The drama took a highly promising first-three-day $1.3 million at 183 for a bullish $7,100 per-copy average. No other film came close, with also-ran “Eragon” earning $2,456 per copy.
“The film has Brad Pitt, who has many admirers in Spain,” one local booker noted. “There was no major competitor. And it drew a large turnout from an upscale, cultured audience that normally doesn’t go to the cinema.”
Director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu is an admired auteur in Spain, so bookers expect “Babel” will have legs, depending partly on the Jan. 23 Oscar noms. Bookers believe the pic’s total B.O. in Spain could hit $10 million.

Cate Blanchett is one of the greatest actresses working today, I love how much she loves working with Brad and thats why I’m really looking forward to Benjamin Button.
Babel is going to be an Oscar contendor, and even though Brad missed out on a SAG nomination, I still think he’s going to get an Oscar nod.

Brad is and always will be a fine and beautiful man ! X fans please stop hating on the man because he’s moved on in life and has a BEAUTUFUL NEW WIFE and 3 beautiful fun happy LITTLE CHILDREN. THE man is happy and content. No more fake ass Golden Couple, smiling on the Red Carpet taking pictures all the time. He does not look bad or tired on these pics. He looks like he really dont want to be there, he has that (ANGIE I MISS YOU LOOK ). I wish you and the babies were here with me. They are always together. There are attached at the hip. He wants his sexy mama with him. He’s bored, but he still has to promote the movie , and he misses his family, even for a day.
