Angelina Jolie and partner Brad Pitt are carefully planning their careers and their incomes so they can afford to have a bigger family. The mother-of-three insists children are expensive - even when there are two Hollywood A’listers in the household bringing home eight-figure salaries.

She says, “Brad and I want to continue to adopt, but keeping a big family uses up a lot of money. For the moment we are talking between ourselves about our respective professional projects, we will then make sure we are agreed between ourselves on where we’re working and so plan our absences. We need to be attached to Mad, Zahara and Shiloh as much as possible.”

In the interview with French magazine Gala, the actress also admits that meeting Pitt changed her life completely. She says, “Don’t go repeating it whatever you do, but yes I love him. I love him a lot. After I met him my life became more harmonious.”

Hello, I ‘m from Brazil, just want to tell that in the brazilian tv there was a special report about Angie last night promoting The Good Shepherd where she called Brad perfectly “my husband”. She said they want to spend time with their kids in Brazil and that the birth of her daughter was the best thing that happend in 2006. Was really nice and she looked beautiful, with a black dress and black boots.
Anyway, just want to share with you guys. And we love the Jolie Pitts here in Brazil.

On one side, the investing arm is putting money in companies (like oil per ex) that cause harm to the people in poor countries, while the philanthropic arm of the Foundation is trying to help the same people with vaccines, education, etc… I never thought of it that way. Angelina Jolie Talks About Madonna’s Adoption
Angelina Jolie knows something about adopting children from other countries – so she can sympathize with Madonna, whose efforts to adopt 1-year-old David Banda from Malawi have sparked controversy.

“I have been horrified by the attacks she’s been subjected to,” Jolie tells the French magazine Gala. “All that should count is the happiness of her little David.”

Still, Jolie, 31, whose son Maddox, 5, and Zahara, who turned 2 on Monday, are from Cambodia and Ethiopia, respectively, has some words of criticism for the singer.

“Madonna knew the situation in Malawi, where (David) was born,” Jolie says. “It’s a country where there is no real legal framework for adoption. Personally, I prefer to stay on the right side of the law. I would never take a child away from a place where adoption is illegal.”

On Friday, Malawian child welfare official Adrina Mchiela said the government is satisfied with the way Madonna has been caring for David. “We have been monitoring her and so far we see a loving mother in Madonna and David is very fine,” she told Reuters.

Human rights groups, however, have argued that Madonna, 48, used her wealth and celebrity to bypass Malawi’s laws governing adoption by foreigners.

In her interview with Gala, Jolie also talks about her relationship with Brad Pitt. “Don’t go repeating it whatever you do, but, yes I love him. I love him a lot,” she says. “After I met him my life seemed more harmonious.”

As a matter of fact, the organizers of the GG are trembling with the fact that Brad 1) will be attending w/Angelina, 2) may win and 3) if he wins, how he will react w/Angelina byhis side and how he will address Angelina’s influence in his life during filming of Babel. They are trembling with glee at the amount of $$$$$$$$$$$$$ this year’s show will make in ratings. Someone posted an article about this. Don’t expect any PDA on the red carpet for many reason, one being Angelina’s history of PDA with her ex that disguted many. He was her husband so go figure…anyhoo…One indsutry secret I know that not too many people know: Any pictures taken on the red carpet is fair game for any publication or blog to use however they see fit. No matter how trashy the publication. The press room after recieving an award is also fair game. Anything that happens INSIDE the venue during the awards show must have permission from the organizing body or else a lawsuit will be knocking at your door. Now about Youtube, this is where a company like this can get in big trouble. People tape telecasts and upload them for all the world to see. So if Brad kisses his missus, it will be on Youtube as soon as he does it. Brad may feel more comfortable inside the venue to display PDA toward Angelina becasue of this legal clause.

It may be on Youtube, but the Hollywood Foreign Press has to give permission to a publiciation for clear photos of the event, acceptance speeches and audience reaction shots. Very hard to do. because there are other people around him in the audience who must also give clearance. Brad would most likely give clearance of a picture of him accepting the award.

The entertainment shows has rights to air the winners, so if Brad has major PDA going, they will show it over & over & over, I’m sure.

And I’ll go a step further. I think a lot of us BAMZS fans need to thoroughly wipe our feet before coming inside. I know that there are Brad and/or Angelina fans who belong to fan sites or venture out into cyberspace and find negative stories about either or both of them. While I understand that you want to relay info about sites and publications doling out bad info, is it really necessary to attach the links? I’m sure that these mercenary haters are getting the negative info from our threads. Like many have stated for months now, I do think that we are our own worst enemy sometimes.

You feel bad when you read nasty things… fine, but just give the name of the site or writer; if someone is so inclined, they will the necessary legwork to see what your grievance is. A fan may agree with you and join your cause. But if a hater has to work to get the amno, he would have to decide if their cause is worth the work and seriously ask him/herself if it’s much better to spend time digging for the negative vs. spending time searching for the positive. Serious introspection is not these people’s strong suits; clicking a mouse is, so stop giving these fools something to click.

And please, don’t take this as me picking on you. I always believed that knowledge is power and that we shouldn’t be afraid of seeking out info, good or bad. But as the haters cited many times, agitating BAMZS fans is too easy and it’s BAMZS fans that are making it even easier.

Seriously, we all need to think seriously about what we are doing here. Personally, I don’t come here to feel bad. Haters don’t make me feel bad; nutbag stalkers make me somewhat uneasy; but some BAMZS fans make me feel bad, not because we disagree on certain topics or heated words are exchanged, but because, deep down, there is a misery loves company sort of mentality. And when there is more joy than misery going on with this family and this board, it makes me wonder…

You are so right about Mark Wahlberg. I just checked and he is EIGHT YEARS YOUNGER than Bradley. And yet look how horrible he looks under all those flashes and lights in the pictures. Matt, who is SEVEN YEARS YOUNGER, also doesn’t look that great. Leo looks really heavy …. but as always, there is a double standard and Brad should have no day off, he should look perfect all the time, otherwise everyone will say Angie is s*cking the life out of him.

That would be my guess, too. Remember - she has hepatitis C and claimed that she got it from unclean TATTOO NEEDLES or some such crap.

Whoever it is, though, it’s definitely NOT ANGIE…she hasn’t been away from her kids or Brad for months and she was out of the country too boot! Page Six can’t hardly get accurate info on celebs here in the States, so I doubt they’ve got spies in France, Holland, India, Cambodia, VietNam, Costa Rica, Panama, and the USVI!

Angelina Jolie knows something about adopting children from other countries – so she can sympathize with Madonna, whose efforts to adopt 1-year-old David Banda from Malawi have sparked controversy.

“I have been horrified by the attacks she’s been subjected to,” Jolie tells the French magazine Gala. “All that should count is the happiness of her little David.”

Still, Jolie, 31, whose son Maddox, 5, and Zahara, who turned 2 on Monday, are from Cambodia and Ethiopia, respectively, has some words of criticism for the singer.

“Madonna knew the situation in Malawi, where (David) was born,” Jolie says. “It’s a country where there is no real legal framework for adoption. Personally, I prefer to stay on the right side of the law. I would never take a child away from a place where adoption is illegal.”

But Jolie said in a statement on Monday, “The article included many falsehoods. I said many positive things that were omitted. I feel we must focus on the present and I encourage everyone to be supportive so that every child can adjust nicely to their new home.”

On Friday, Malawian child welfare official Adrina Mchiela said the government is satisfied with the way Madonna has been caring for David. “We have been monitoring her and so far we see a loving mother in Madonna and David is very fine,” she told Reuters.

Human rights groups, however, have argued that Madonna, 48, used her wealth and celebrity to bypass Malawi’s laws governing adoption by foreigners.

In her interview with Gala, Jolie also talks about her relationship with Brad Pitt. “Don’t go repeating it whatever you do, but, yes I love him. I love him a lot,” she says. “After I met him my life seemed more harmonious.”

We’ve all been guessing that it’s Pam Anderson who has resumed her old heroin addiction and went back to an old rock star friend to join him in narcotic stupor. What I’m feeling bad though is for her two boys — they have been subjected to seeing their mother in various stages of undress in front of everyone (witness their pictures on the yacht prior to one of her and Kid Rock’s wedding), and having a stepfather for all of four months, and then seeing their father in a narcotic haze.

Sheesh. Everybody is so busy poking their noses into the lives of Madd, Zee and Shi, and predicting that they will turn out horrible — well, what about Brandon and Dylan Lee? Or is again the double standard applied here?

I am falling on this side of the issue, too stardust. I agree with you, and I share your fears about the stories getting crazier rather than tamer the longer they ignore. I hope I am wrong, and I will readily admit it if I am. I am just making an observation…..and hey, we are all fans and can certainly agree to disagree.

I guess I am just reacting more emotionally to these latest stories rather than rationally, because most of the time I do feel it is better to ignore it and rise above it…. but this latest round does have me asking myself how far they will go to make money off Brad and Angie. Just when I think it can’t get any worse, it does.

Guys, the GALA “interview” is from one of the TGS press junkets, Angelina didn’t give them an “exclusive” interview & they “spiced” up some of the quotes, or maybe they got “lost in translation”.

I think they are right just to show the world by their actions, not what the tabs say about them. In the long run, people will see what kind of person they really are. The people that are quick to believe the tabs, are the ones that started out not liking them anyway. Why bother. Just like on JJ, we have been trying to put some sense in the haters’ mind for almost 2 years, does that change them in anyway? No. So, I think B&A should just live their life the way they see right, knowing that their families, their friends, and their fans will always support them. The rest, they are just jealous of anybody that is successful.

Dragonfly - I agree with you. I will have no problem in admitting my mistake but I still stand by what I said for now.

I’ll just say this. As much as I admire them for staying above the fray and living their lives as they want to and not by how the media or pubic dictates is admirable.

But if they decide to address some of the more wide spread rumors, I won’t like them any less. The way the media works has changed drastically and so the way people handle the media has to change too. It doesn’t make anyone weak to change their approach. Infact, I think it’s shows that a person is willing to adapt to the changes. Not acknoweledging the reality of the world and continuing on with an outdated strategy is not called strength, it’s called stubborness.

Just to clarify a bit: there was a discussion on Bradforums and people were saying that the GALA interview hadn’t taken place at all.
So the point was that, although it was distorted, lost in translation, blown out of proportion and all, the interview did take place during the promotion of the TGS. That’s all.
I don’t think anyone was defending the quotes or GALA, they were just saying that it did take place.
But whether it took place or not, they twisted things around pretty badly, no one os contesting that.

No she’s not a publicity seeker. She speaks because she’s sought out and asked questions. Sometimes words are credited to her that she did not say. Much good comes from her mouth, and much good has occurred around the world because of her words, and there are many who would attest to this as they are being assisted where they might not have been because Angelina did open her mouth and speak up. She is disturbed. She’s disturbed that women and children around the world are being raped, dying from aids, murederd because they worship differently or die due acicent tribal arguments. You would do good to be as disturbed as she is about the plight of other human beings, and what you did not know before is how you can follow her lead and do some good in the world too.

Just wanted to say Happy Birthday to Z…..I got beat up a little bit yesterday here but wanted to join Z’s birthday party.

Glad to see the article in People where Angelina straightened out a misconception about what she said. I really admire her ability to state the facts….

When the haters come out, I’m just going to remember the answer that Angie gave Diane Sawyer about comparing kissing Matt Damon and Brad. Her answer was so simple and sweet - to paraphrase it “One is my friend, one is my love”. That says it all.

Be back later, need to go fix dinner for hungry family, and I have a pie in the oven for Z’s birthday.

I have to tell you steadfast fans that I really admire you for staying the path for the last two years, as Jolie-Pitt fans. After yesterday, I learned my lesson about fighting with non-fans. Very unproductive and I am certainly not able to change their minds, so I’ll try my best to ignore them.

There is something about Angelina that is not right. Talk like that about your own child is very strange. If she was forced to have this child to keep Brad, it is really bad news for Shiloh. History will reapeat itself.

She speaks about her child as a mother who knows her daughter by vurtue of birth will always know that her parents loved one another, and from that love created her. She will know they were with her when she took her first breath outside of her mothers body. That she was held by her father the first moments of her life. That her mother and father took her with them when they left the hospital together as a family, and since then she hasn’t known a moment without them or their love. She will never know what her adopted sister and brother experienced which was from the first 6 months of their lives each, they were held because it was someones job to do so just as it was to feed them their meeger allotment, and change their soiled nappies.

Angelina was a mother before Brad and of this you’d do good to remember. She is not a woman who required a man to define her as a mother, her children do this, and she is not a woman who requires that a man be provided a child to validate her role in his life. Maddox was adopted by she and Billy Thornton, and the last it was seen, he has had no hold on the boy or Angelina, and he did not for a long time between her divorcement, and meeting Brad, and so you are off in that argument very much so.

There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING Angelina wouldn’t do for Maddox and when she knew she finally found the “great father” for Maddox after searching for so long, she opened her womb. IF he was going to be invested in Maddox and all the other orphands that came after, she had to get pregnant. Because the bottomline is that he does NOT stay with her if she tells him upfront that she’s not getting pregnant ever.

So the fact is that she had Shiloh to keep him and now will always resent her because of it.

I do hope that her and her big mouth told him of these feelings prior to this interview, because if he’s just hearing about this for the first time, that will not be good for them. Not to mention any resentment his family will have towards her when they hear these comments.

Ritzygal, I’d been certain that you’d branded yourself as someone in the thick of Brad’s inner workings. Am I incorrect? As I’ve lurked here, I was certain there were many occasions where you spoke with authority and not from assumption, and so which is it? You talk of his family as if they would not be aware of something that was supposedly stated in India months ago, or that this article which has been on the internet for days now couldn’t possibly have made it’s way to them per their own searching out of info, or brought to their attention by someone I’m sure who keeps tabs on these things. You also contend that Brad would not be aware prior to any words given as an interview. You do realize that you are amazingly arrogant in your belief that Brad has somehow now become a Zombie whose had his brain power sucked from that handsome head, and he walks about waiting for instruction from Angelina on every matter. If you have such a low opinion of how Brad handles his business thats one thing. That is your problem, but if you believe that he is not privy to, or the last to know what words will appear by either of them prior to a publication being released, and those words represent valid interviews, then you need your head exaimed.
